Got an old smart Samsung TV. Model is Samsung UE32F4510AK. Need some new channel apps but can't seem to be able to add any apps that I'm looking for, only has Samsung Apps that can add new stuff. Anyway to skip Samsung apps and add what I'm looking for directly?

I think we need an app for the forum on Google Play and the App Store so people can get notifications on there .

Greetings. I need to purchase an album off Google Play that I can't find on iTunes. However, I have over 7000 songs on iTunes and would like to save this album to my computer and add it to my iTunes library. Is it possible to download music you purchase on the Google Play Store as audio files? I'd really appreciate some help with this. Regards, Aereldor.

Hi, I published a live wallpaper application on xda some time ago. A few days back I paid the Google Play dev fee and published it on Google Play. That's when I found out that some other developer decompiled my apk from xda, modified it a bit and put it up on Google Play without my permission back in November (and filled it with ads so he can profit from it), you can see that it's my app because it still shows up as "Borderlight" (my app's name) in the wallpaper picker. I am posting here because I am a long time LTT viewer and I remembered that Linus always talks about how good the community is here. I just don't know where to start with dealing with this situation and I am looking for any kind of help. I tried to contact the developer, but he did not reply. I'm really sad because someone else is just making money off my work.

I bought Minecraft PE on the Play Store. If I install an unofficial APK to downgrade it, will it detect my license?

So I made an app for my local sports club to view and access photos. I want to distribute it on Google Play store but have it unlisted. I want my app to be like an unlisted YouTube Video. I have the upload but only people with the link can view it. If this doesn't work I could add a sign in page on the app. But I would rather it work this way. All feedback appreciated. Thanks!

I'm trying to fix a Oneplus X as it has been having storage problems, they don't support SD card as internal storage, and it's only got about 12GB of internal, which is annoying. (This is a secondary issue) I want to factory reset the phone, but I need to retain SMS and phone call logs if possible. I know that there is a app for backing up these, But, the main issue is, I can no longer install any apps to the phone as the Google Play store app has gone rogue. It's not in the app drawer or the apps list in settings. FYI: Android 6.0.1 9.94GB used of 11.54GB And, it's also getting this error everywhere (See attached)

Hi everyone, So I have a little issue: I want to download Spotify, but whenever I go to the Spotify app page on the Google Play Store, it has a message that says "Authentication is Required. You need to sign into your Google account." I know this cant be right because not only am I signed in but also I can go and download other apps without that message popping up. How do I fix this? I've been a Google Play Music since 2015 and have been through an abundance of songs in my time, and I've always just stuck to Google Play Music. I love that it's all cloud-synced with the option of locally-storing music if I please to conserve data. I've heard that Google Play Music is soon to be axed off by Google themselves and being merged with YouTube Music, which would suck for me personally, because I have a sneaky suspicion it's going to become Spotify 2.0 where I'll have to pay monthly just to listen to music. Up until then, I won't have paid a single penny to listen to music on Google Play Music since I have a free account and don't pay a monthly fee, since I source the music one-time and never pay again. Now, with this being a highly possible scenario, I'm looking for a new music player which has the following: • Korean Pop / Asia genre (Will list artists if necessary) • Streaming through multiple devices - desktop & mobile apps etc • Ability to upload own MP3s • Music in 320kbps • Preferably no monthly fee • Preferably option to locally store music Thanks in advance for suggestions and advice on where to head in terms of music players!

The title says pretty much all. I am searching for an AIO that runs Chrome OS and has Google play support. I know about the Acer Chromebase 24, but (at least according to this: https://www.chromium.org/chromium-os/chrome-os-systems-supporting-android-apps) it does not have GP support. Does anyone know about other AIOs (preferable from Lenovo, but not a must) with the characteristics I want? Note: the link above does not include devices such as the Acer CX13 so the database may be outdated. If anyone found a more up-to-date list of Chrome OS devices, please give me a link to it. I get an error on google play that's quite weird, Can't install app, "app name" can't be installed on USB storage or SD card. Try again, and if the problem continues, get help troubleshooting (error code: -18), This error started when my SD card died a week ago, Should I get another SD card or It's jut an error from the latest google play store?

@LinusTech @Slick So I am an avid weekly viewer of the WAN show and also an avid podcast listener in general. I have Google Play music and they recently added good support for podcasts and I have been using that implementation. Is there a way we can get the WAN show on there? If there is anything that needs to be done, or any upkeep that would be necessary I would be more than willing to help out. Can we make this happen? Thanks!

Ok, I'll try to keep this short... I may have done a stupid thing...I may have uninstalled the Google Play app. "But wait, just download the APK from the interwebs" Tried that, it just booted to a white screen before crashing. And for developers, getting your app in front of a consumer is harder too. But now Google is planning to offer a new way to surface apps -- and maybe even make some money off it. Developers looking to increase awareness of their apps will soon be able to buy space in search results in Google Play's mobile apps marketplace. When users search for app topics, the results will be topped by a "sponsored search" ad. The ads, which will be clearly marked, will start showing up in search results within the next few weeks. Helping consumers discover their apps has become an increasingly troublesome issue for small developers. Though major developers -- Facebook, Pandora and others -- that offer wildly popular apps have no trouble attracting would-be downloaders, small developers aren't so lucky. At last count, Google Play's app marketplace had more than 1.3 million available apps, making it extremely difficult for certain programs to get attention. Both Google and Apple, which has its own mobile marketplace called the App Store, have tried to boost app discovery by improving search results and refining their stores to include relevant suggestions. Many app developers have reported that if they're lucky enough to be placed into a "featured apps" category, downloads soar. Revenue gains, however, are a bit of a mixed bag. "Overall, the effect of getting featured is larger on downloads than on revenue," Distimo, an app analytics company, wrote in a publication last year. "This also indicates that being featured has a higher effect on free apps than on paid apps." Distimo's findings followed a report from the company in 2013 that showed that just 3 percent of the top 250 app makers in the Google Play store were new, independent publishers. So my friend bricked their nexus 5 and came crying to me to fix it (I did) and after fixing it and installing android 5.0 and then reinstalling all their apps from the google play my apps list. 1 day after i put malwarebytes on the phone I got a message saying that it had found trojan.sms.Opfake. after removing it I looked into this but could not find anyone with the same issue. People where reporting fakes with trojans imbedded in them but none where reporting that the original app had this trojan. I was wondering if any other android users that have the app installed or have friends that have the app installed are getting this popping up from malware bytes or am i just the only one I will update this if I find anything more
