This seemed to happen on most games but I notice it a lot on fortnite and it only happens when I set my fps to the same as my monitors refresh rate which is 240 so if I put my fps any lower or higher in game it won’t do it only when I’m on 240 fps in game settings. I’m not sure why this is happening and was looking for any fix beacuse I want to just set my fps to 240 IMG_4005.MOV

I'll start off with the spec of the build- i3-10100f. rtx 3060ti(yes its a bottleneck saving up for an i7). gigabyte mobo not completely sure what it is. 24gigs of 3200mhz corsair ram (8+16). gigabyte gold 750w psu. Additional info- gpu max temps at 99% load - 70 degrees. cpu temps at max temp for 30 minutes or more - 60degrees(turboing at 4ghz). maximum cpu usage while playing forza - 60-75% maximum gpu usage while playing forza - 70-99%(it appears to be the usual usage for most graphic heavy games and I haven't faced issues while playing demanding games like cyberpunk and re4) the issue- I downloaded forza horizon 5 recently and have been facing an issue where the game randomly freezes and the pc then shuts off. After this happening twice i tried alt+f4ing the game when it crashes and it works pc doesn't shut off, but today while i was playing the game i was listening to some music and then the game crashed and the music started stuttering then i was spamming alt+f4 then the music kept playing then when i stopped it started stuttering, after that i kept alt+f4ing until the game closed. This happened in another game i can't remember i think it was elden ring but it never happened again, any idea what this is? Thanks.

Just finished my first build ever and am having something strange happen but I believe only when I play Minecraft. I haven't played more than Minecraft and Call of Duty BOPs 3 yet so I'm unsure if this issue stretches further, but I do know that it does not occur during CoD. While running and/or spinning fast in Minecraft my frames will ride comfortably above 100 FPS except for here and there the screen will just pause for a moment and then continue. The feeling is not unlike ping lag when playing a first person shooter online though I am playing Minecraft locally. I've stress tested both the CPU and GPU, both are fine. I've also messed with the settings in Minecraft once to optimize performance and a second time just lowering the settings further than I felt necessary. I've watched the thermals of each while running around in Minecraft and found that neither rise to a point of throttling. I'm not sure if it is related but I have also noticed that when I am close to blocks, especially underground in caves, if I move the cursor quickly some random pixels from the blocks will turn dark red. What I found most strange is that I brought settings like render distance and simulation distance down further than I ever had to do on my gaming laptop that I came from which could run Minecraft better at this point. The laptop had an i7 8000 series CPU and a 1060 6gb, both of which are far lower in performance than what I have now. Any advice would be greatly appreciated. I'll include a list of parts I am running as well as a video of the issue. So I recently built a PC this week, I was excited to test out new games and enjoying the new graphics and such. Until I found out that my PC is lagging with almost every game. Main specs of the build are: Ryzen 7 5800X, EVGA RTX 3070, 64GB Trident Z 2666MHz RAM, WD Black AN1500 2TB, MSI B550 Tomahawk. Also I'm using a 165Hz G-Sync 27in Asus Monitor. For the start of the problem, when I launch a game, for example, in the past I launched, Subnautica, Destiny 2, The Witcher 3. All of those games in the Main Menu seem fine, except for when I actually load into the game. I'm getting around 3 - 10 FPS when playing the game itself. But it looks when I launched Control, It worked perfect, I was getting around 90 - 120 FPS. I'm honestly confused of what's going on. I tried updating my GPU drivers using Nvidia GeForce Experience. I tried using DDU to uninstall and do a fresh install with the drivers. I tried to disable G-Sync & Put the it down to 60Hz None of those fixes worked. Is there anymore options? or fixes? Is my GPU physically bad? Below is the footage running The Witcher 3 on High Graphical settings: 3070 Issue.mp4

I got a Samsung LC32JG50QQNZA Series Curved 32" which is just a little over 2 years old (and therefore, out of warranty). It's connected to a EVGA GeForce RTX 2080 Super Black Gaming GPU along with two other monitors, one connected to HDMI and another connected to another DP. I had just gotten back from a trip, and I turned on my shutdown computer only to see the Samsung monitor glitchy up, showing a scuffed version of the image, and then slowly blacking out with lines and other things giving it a bit of a "burn" effect. Image: https://i.imgur.com/o9DMqEK.png (You can see some of the wallpaper in the upper part of the monitor.) However, when I switched inputs to HDMI, it seems like everything is fine, the monitor shows the HDMI output great. Albeit, now without the 144 hz. For the life of me, I have not figured out what went wrong with my displayport. Here's what I've done so far: -Unplugged it from the power, and plugged it back in. -Used a different Displayport Cable -Plugged Monitor into alternative Displayport (which my other monitor was using without any problem). -Switching between Displayport Version 1.1 and 1.2 (1.1 resulted in it not detecting a signal). Other monitors seem to be doing well, so I don't think it's a GPU issue. Is the Displayport to this monitor finished? Should I be shopping for a new one now? Or is there something else I can try before throwing my wallet at another monitor?

Hello everyone, This is my first ever post, exciting! But I come for help as I'm a little stumped... So I received a GPi Case with a new raspberry pi zero 2 for Christmas. I was very excited to set it up with Recalbox but when I started it, this weird graphical glitch happened. Lines appear and disappear, both horizontal and vertical. Some flashes happen from time to time. And it slowly changes how glitched it looks with time. It gets caught on the initializing case part of the installation and will never progress. Sometimes it will show a glitchy black screen but will accept no inputs from the case and usually has to be restarted. When I saw this I assumed I received some broken hardware. I installed the normal raspberry pi os onto the zero 2 and it loaded up/operated with my monitor just fine. So I sent back the case and got a new one. But this changed nothing! The same results occurred with the new case. It leaves me confused as I don't think the pi itself is broken, but I also dont think the case is broken. The micro sd card seems to work fine in my windows computer. I tried reinstalling the software multiple times all to get the same result (I have also tripled checked that it was the correct OS to install). I even tried booting the normal raspberry pi OS on the GPi case but that got no response whatsoever. I reseated the pi and any connections I saw multiple times to no luck. I am attaching a photo of the problem as I'm hoping it can better explain my situation. The only thing I have seen online about this is someone had a similar problem and they fixed it by just replacing the entire raspberry pi. Unfortunately for me, they are sold out everywhere so heres hoping one of you can help me get this thing working. Its been 4 months and I really want to use it! Thanks!

I've had this problem ever since I transfered my OS from my hard drive to my SSD after I built my new system, Specs are Ryzen, 1050ti, 32gb ram, 500gb SSD for OS, 1T NVME for extra storage, 1000Wat psu. At first I thought my stystem wasn't getting enough power so I switched PWUs from 450W to 1000W and the stutters stopped for awhile, but came back. I've reinstalled windows and drivers three times and checked the connection of my ram and other hardware. My CPU is over clocked, but I have a AIO cooler and temps do alright, I also reset bios and ran at normal clock speeds for awhile, but saw no change. I've tried all I can think of, but nothing seems to work. To explain the stutter alittle better, it completely freezes my screen, it seems to still allow input and my second monitor won't freeze unless I switch to it. I play rust mostly and whenever I freeze in game my character also freezes, stops in mid air, heli just hovers or my gun keeps shooting after I stop touching my mouse. Sometimes I can still move around even though on my screen I'm still frozen. Sorry I made this so long and I'll be grateful for any and all help/suggestions. Thank you.

I have a Deathadder 2013, which I no longer use, and a Deathadder Chroma. Both of these mice appear to be having some major issues: 1: Moving either of these mice in many games causes me to drop frames. My GPU usage goes down by anywhere from 10% to 60% on average. Moving a random mouse I have (from Lenovo) has absolutely no problems. 2: Both of these mice are having extreme tracking issues in Counter-Strike: Global Offensive and are tracking as though I have some sort of variable sensitivity. They are both completely inconsistent. The previously mentioned Lenovo mouse has no issues. Both of the above only appear to be happening within games as I see no problems outside of gaming use. My system specs are below the post. This has been happening for (roughly) the past 5 days, and I've had no hardware or software changes within this time. Drivers COULD have been updated behind my back, alongside Windows 10. I've tried using different USB ports, and have also tried uninstalling the drviers (and Razer Synapse entirely) for these mice. Please don't bother commenting something like "Razer are shit", as that's just an opinion, and your opinion doesn't help me fix my problem. Thanks

i5 -4690 z-97a motherboard gtx 1060 6 gb 500 W 80+ bronze evga So its having screen glitches like this: http://imgur.com/A4X3MC8 http://imgur.com/Ldz2Ob2 It goes away if I uninstall and reinstall drivers but then it comes back. I dont think my graphics card is broken because obviously when the drivers work it runs great and like normal. I believe its something to do with the motherboard. Can I get any help? Also here's the full story of what has been happening: 1. I decide to upgrade my motherboard and cpu (fx 6300, msi 760GMA-p34 FX) to a (i5-4690, asus z97-A) NOTE: I did buy these parts used. 2. With my old graphics card (r9 280) started not working, and so I bought a gtx 1060. 3. Now this problem occurs. I believe it is the motherboard or CPU, because I bought it used and it might just be worn out. I do not believe it is the GPU because it is brand new. But who knows, can i get any help? WHAT I HAVE DONE ALREADY: -use ddu to uninstall -move pci-e slots -checking the power connected to the graphics card Any help would be appreciated. I went to pcmr, and buildapc subreddits and made a post like this but they couldnt really help

So I bought a new stick of ram to replace one of my old ones and switched them. After realising it would be better to keep the old two in for the minute I switch it back to my old config and now my PC keeps freezing at random times forcing me to restart it. The furthest I’ve gotten was it freezing just as I reached the home screen. What can I do?

I upgraded my ram from 2gb ddr3 to 4 gb every thing was fine and all, but the screen would randomly glitch out when ever i opened a new program or application and revert back to normal very quickly, i dont know what should i do, could it be the ram issue. Is my ram kinda loose or so? or is it a windows bug? Please reply.

I sometimes notice this weird glitchy effect on my monitor, somewhat similar to screen tearing. I've also been seeing more flashing/refreshing icons on my desktop, as well as on some websites. I first started noticing this a few months back, but I rarely use my PC as I'm at uni most of the time. Any ideas what might be causing this? Any help is appreciated, thanks EDIT: This may be important to add. When installing my graphics card I was worried I had put too much pressure on the connector. A few times, I left the card handing from the moba with no support. Yet, I didn't start seeing any graphical problems until 6 months after installation. Hi. I recently bought a HP Envy x360 15t-bp012dx 2-in-1 laptop in factory refurbished condition with three month official hp warranty. Not long about 2 weeks after using it the imagepad Trackpad began to be incredibly glitchy. Everytime i would move the mouse, it would jump randomly across the screen, randomly highlights text while scrolling, clicks on random things while scrolling, perform gestures that were never intended like three finger tap when there was no third finger on the trackpad , making it almost impossible to use. I have tried downloading the most recent synaptics driver and afterwards the trackpad worked for a little while, then went haywire again. I did complete factory reset from hp recovery options but problem persists. i did windows settings reset from windows 10 options but problem persists. i have clean installed windows 10 but problem persists. i cant figure out if this is hardware issue or just really bad drivers. Guide me if i need Warranty claim. Thanks.

Hey guys! So I updated my laptop to the new Anniversary update, and my mouse felt weird. In games such as League of Legends and CS:GO the mouse seems to lag a bit behind as well as become very smooth. This is very uncomfortable smooth because it is unnatural and it feels as though it isn't responsive. I checked all settings (mouse acceleration, motion blur) and everything was the same. I reverted the update but the same thing still exists, where it didn't before. Does anyone have any idea as to how to fix this? Thank you

First off my specs are: Intel i5-4690k 3.50 GHz Windows 7 64bit 16GB of ram GPU: Nvidia GeForce GTX 970 So there was some kind of update for GeForce Experience yesterday, 5/19/15, the dialogue box popped up and I clicked it to start the update. Not long after the update started the progress bar went away and the computer froze. I turned to computer off by pressing the holding the power button on the case, waited a bit, then turned it back on. When I logged back on suddenly certain screens would get glitchy and pixely (screenshots attached), and will freeze my computer if it gets too bad. I have done these things already with no luck: rolled back the driver version, deleted and reinstalled the driver, booted the computer in safe mode, delete GeForce Experience. It is difficult to use internet on the computer because sometimes it will freeze. It seems only programs that use internet are causing this too, because I can go into all the computer settings and it works fine. I don't know if this can even be fixed without replacing something, I just don't really know what is broken in order to replace it. Any kind of feedback would appreciated, hopefully the damage isn't too bad. I have a WD Passport SE (1Tb), which I bought around 2 years ago. It's been working fine, until now. It's gotten a whole lot slower and comes up with weird shortcuts, and hidden folder automatically show up on windows computers. Tt has 2 partitions, One is 750gb (FAT32) and the other is 250gb (NTFS).
