Hello, starting about 3-6 months ago, I began experiencing delays and glitches in my games. I primarily play MFS 2020 on my dad's gaming laptop that he uses for work. At Christmas when I got my computer for school I took out the drive for MFS to put in my school laptop so I could have more storage for my school work and I'm a power user.. Also, all of these games are run on a secondary drive and I never touched the primary drive in the laptop. Now none of my games work or act the same after I reinstalled them and put them back in the bigger M.2 drive. They are either slow, take a while to start, or as I play for about 15-30 minutes the game will get unplayable and be way too glitchy to do anything at all whatsoever. Now I'm not sure what the issue I previously tried troubleshooting some of the MFS issues I had especially with irritatingly slow download times and that didn't help. Before this, all my games worked well not high-end crazy fast but at a playable level. The 3 main games I play and have experienced these issues in are MFS 2020, Forza Horizon 5, and Beam NG Drive. My only idea is somehow something happened to break the drive I'm going to be getting a new drive in a couple of days (got a solid prime day deal on a 2TB) maybe this will help. Possibly there is another issue I'm not aware of. I also attached below all my sys info to help all of you lovely folks help me diagnose my troubles. Thank you in advance and have a great day.

3 days ago I was playing Control as normal but after 1 hour circa I started to see graphical glitches during the dialogue with Langston. I was streaming also so got it captured and clipped (starts at 8 seconds): https://www.twitch.tv/shebuka/clip/PeacefulCulturedDinosaurSoBayed Blinking spots of different colour and a black contour around heads. I've alt+tabbed to desktop and checked temps, nothing alarming. Alt+tabbed back in-game with the monitoring now on my second screen and resumed the game, temps all nominal (60C on CPU, 85C on GPU and 85-90C on GPU junctions) but the graphical glitches were still there and I started to see corrupted pixels flashing on my second screen also! Now a little panicking, I've alt+tabbed back to the desktop and the whole screen suddenly was missing green colour! Shortly after the game crashed with several errors about "hardware gone missing" and AMD control panel reporting "Driver timeout"... But all corruption on the desktop disappeared. OBS encoding didn't crash and continued to stream as before, so I've relaunched the game and resumed playing for another hour and a half. Yesterday I was playing Dyson Sphere Program and a similar thing happened after 3 hours circa... Clip from the stream: https://www.twitch.tv/shebuka/clip/AbstemiousInventiveLasagnaMrDestructoid Again I started to see some corrupted pixels on my second screen but I was already at the end of the stream so I've saluted and shut everything down. As soon as the game exited corruption from desktop disappeared. Now, this happened two times so it's not a fluke... So, What was this??? Is my GPU dying??? I've never overclocked it and always kept it in Standard mode and it's still under 2-year warranty. My system has: AMD Ryzen 7 3700X, MSI B450 Tomahawk Max, Crucial 32 GB DDR4-3200, Gigabyte RX 5700 XT Gaming OC, Corsair RM750x, M.2 SSD etc. Win 10 x64 latest, all latest Drivers

Hello everyone. This is my first time posting here. About 5 months ago I build a sweet med/high-end PC with the new RTX 3070. It worked great, and I experienced no graphical issues whatsoever. Eventually, we had a wall socket burst, and my PC and another PC in an adjacent room have been having Level Of Detail issues. My PC was not plugged into the corresponding wall socket, and so I As pictured in the videos attached below, you can clearly see shadows and ground debris render up and close to the character. It's especially bad with The Witcher 3 (I can get some video for the Witcher if needed). I've tried clean reinstalling windows and reinstalling drivers to no avail. I reseated my graphics card, nothing. My Voltages and Temps are in the normal range, and I've tried different outlets in the house. Please help me if you can, I don't know what to do Specs: Nvidia RTX 3070 Founders Edition 8GB VRAM PCI-E 4.0 Intel Core I7-10700k 3.8GhZ OZ 5.1GhZ MSI Z490 A-Pro Motherboard Thermalake 750+ Watt Power Supply Smart Pro RGB, Fully Modular Gold Certified T-Force Vulkan 16GB DDR4 3200mhz RAM Noctua NH D-15 Dual Fan Chromax Air Cooler 2 TB SSD M.2 (Samsung), 2 TB HDD (Seagate) Thermalake V200 Tempered Glass Mid-ATX Case I don't know if its an electrical problem, hardware problem, or just me. Hello, about 2-3 months ago I've been experiencing an issue where items and shadows are not properly loading in for my games. It's been slowly and progressively getting worse and worse, and I'm running at wits end. For those of you who came here to respond blatantly about how its a psychological issue, please leave now. Otherwise, allow me to go into detail. This is happening on ALL games, even games as simple as ROBLOX or CS:GO. Basically my LOD and shadows misload, and appear directly in front of the character. It's a big eyesore and makes many games unplayable, such as GTA 5, Witcher 3, AC Black Flag, Fallout 4, the list goes on. I have never once experienced these issues before, and I am very certain I would have noticed them if they were happening prior to noticing. A week ago I contacted NVIDIA support, and after swapping out my GPU with an older 1070 module, I can confidently say that it is not a GPU issue. I was told it might be a power supply problem, but before I replace it I want to be absolutely sure. Links to videos of issue will be attached below. Can't do much to fix quality of videos sadly. Will try to capture obvious issues. I am not looking for possible ways to fix it, unless you are absolutely certain. I am only wondering what hardware it would be linked to if it were to be a hardware problem. Trust me, I've tried almost everything. TL:DR - All games look blurry, with shadows and minor details appearing close to the character. It's an eyesore. So, I'm a first time PC builder and finished my first build a little over a month ago. My PC specs are listed below so maybe somebody can help steer me in the right direction. CPU: Intel i9 11900k GPU: Aorus Rtx 3080 Ti Master Motherboard: MSI MPG Z590 Carbon WiFi AIO: Corsair H115i Elite Capellix All is inside a Corsair 5000d Airflow, (not that it matters) So, whether or not I have it overclocked, I experience small flickering/glitches all over my screen. I believe my CPU is overclocked at I want to say 5.1 GHz? I've been reading around on forums to see if anyone else has this issue and I can't find anything that matches my issue, however I did find one threat about someone having their 10900k overclocked and experienced something similar so they tried to reset their CPU to 3.5 GHz and they said it somewhat fixed their issue. The glitches or bugs are random shapes, usually colors or just multi-squared black and Grey. Does anybody know a fix to this? I currently don't have any videos or screenshots to provide but can get them at a later time if needed.

Well anyway since then i have been getting weird glitches in different games. Mostly, in ARMA 3 the terrain flickers and if i go first person in any vehicle i get really weird audio glitches and my game stutters and i get screen tearing (even tho i don't get above 25-30 fps) In other games where i am locked to 60fps i get tons of screen tearing and stuttering CPU: AMD-FX8350 GPU: Readon HD 7850 x2 MOBO: Asus Sabertooth 990fx r.2 RAM: 32gb (kingston?) ddr3 @ 1866mhz

So ive had my 970 for just around a year now and for most of its lifespan ive had an overclock using MSI afterburner. The overclock has: mV +19 power limit 105% core clock: +200 memory clock +110 it took me a while to stabalise initially but it has been stable all this time and its just today started artifacting on some games. It is exactly the same style of artifacting i encountered when my OC pushed my card too far (e.g. +230Mhz core clock increase) Im just worried i fried some parts of the GPU since its been this way so long. Cooling wise as far as i know the card was kept consistently below 75 degrees (C) and its been incredibly stable up till now. As we speak i just had the video driver crash error. Once again an error i only encountered when my OC pushed too hard. I doubt it is a power feed error. I am using a EVGA 850 nova PSU with a relatively low power build. does anyone have some advice on how to remedy this besides "turn the OC down"? (which ill will test if helps and update this post) im really worried since i was saving for a CPU upgrade and really dont want to have to replace a 970 because i fucked it. UPDATE: Yes it does seem that removing the OC and re-booting solves the issue. I assume the artifacting is the GPU showing its age then? My question from before still stands as i will apply a rather light OC from now on since all my games were optimised for the OCd 970. UPDATE X2: some games appear to be running the same if not, better? Im extreemely confused. Perhaps it was thermal throttling this entire time?

So weird problem here, when I start up a game (such as osu!, CS:GO) a problem happens. Where ever the cursor is on the screen, it moves as far up as it can. I don't know how to fixed this problem and I have asked everyone I know. If someone could help me resolve this issue, that would be amazing.

Hello. I'm trying to edit a video in Sony Vegas Pro 13, however, the preview keeps glitching out, showing inverted colours and all sorts of weird things. What happens is that I click a part of the time line and it does the strange things I described. Here's a gif of what I mean. https://gyazo.com/80543fee346d071553fec5d4aee7452f (this gif is a bad example but the issue is very, very annoying) If I let the video play about 10 seconds before the part that was glitchy, it is no longer weird. Is it a scrubbing related problem? Here's a screenshot of what is seen when I click on a part of the timeline Here is a screenshot of when I pause it on the glitchy scene but I played the video 10 seconds or more away from the glitchy scene. (how it's supposed to look) I have checked the raw file that was recorded in OBS and there are no strange happenings within the video. It is only when I try to edit it in Sony Vegas. I have 2 drives, one's much slower than the other (only supports SATA2) but the issue persists when the raw file is from either drive. Is Sony Vegas the issue? Or is it the drives or hardware (CPU or GPU?) Help is appreciated, thanks.

It is a weird bug to explain so I guess I will cut to the chase, every time I right click on the desktop and hover my mouse over "New," everything locks up besides external programs like Task Manager & Chrome. I've seen issues of this sort online and the recommendation was to edit the reg since windows broke with a dropbox app called "App Installer." I've cleaned my registry with CCleaner, and I still have this issue. An odd thing that worked is when I logged into my alt administrator account and attempted to make a new folder, the Windows Explorer didn't crash, so my guess is it isn't a registry issue or corrupted OS. Any idea, please?

I just recently got rainbow six siege on PC and have been playing a fair bit, but I have noticed some visual glitches not present in gameplay. The most gamebreaking one for me is that when I use Pulse's scanner, the screen has a lot of weird red lines on it, like this The gadget still functions fine, but it is incredibly distracting to use. Turning off post process AA and normal AA doesn't fix it. Another less gamebreaking glitch is when I play as Twitch with the F2, the shock drone model seems to be affixed to the bottom of the gun for some reason. Doesn't impact gameplay whatsoever, it's just wierd. Any ideas or fixes?

was wondering if anyone happens to know what could cause these things showing up it doesn't happen in games or while watching videos but whenever i open a program like Logitech's, razer synapse... mainly logitech's app

So I've been having this weird viusal glitch lately from time to time. However I don't know if its the graphics card or the monitor, drivers etc... I highly doubt it's the graphics card because, 1. It doesn't do it on my other monitor. 2. It doesn't do it on my oculus. My graphics card is always at a reasonable temperature. 99.9999% of the time it works just fine. Monitor isn't hot. And video drivers are up to date. I attached a image on what it looks like for that .2 seconds. With except its all RBG and there's dots everywhere like snowy colors on top of the screen. I'm suspecting its f.lux so I uninstalled that. Any ideas what it could be?

Sorry for the Terrible quality, my phone is crap Anyways, this was a PC i built for a client 3 years ago, its an FX 8320E 16gb of ram an Asus M5A78L, an R9-280X 3gb Vapor X, and a Corsair CX600M As you can see from the video its weirding out heavily, it runs fine sometimes, sometimes does it, it started happening yesterday after 3 years of use temps on cpu never go past 45c (its runing a D92 cooler), and gpu rarely goes past 75c (even maxin out fallout 4 wich is what my client mostly plays) glitches occure when Gpu gets Taxed, im pretty sure the PSU is more than capable of driving the card, and everything is properly cooled, b4 installing fresh windows, it woudlnt let me try any other card as with any other gpu windows refused to load (bsod while loading), just did a fresh install drivers and anything, will try the other Gpus next (got an HD 3870 and a GTX 9800X2 i can test with) Any ideas what could make this happen?, i cant valid his warranty as its been 3 years since i sold him the pc, i dont have any other psu i can test this with (well i got a CM Elite 550w but i think the gpu is too much for that as it its not even 80+ rated) video-1525674294.mp4 Edit: if anyone can tell me how to embed the video, it only shows a link to download it

Hello, For some reason ever since I set up my 4k monitor, every few seconds the sound out of my speakers or headphones does this weird buzzing thing. It only does this when the 4k monitor is set to be the main monitor. I'm using Windows 10 right now and have a 7970 gfx card if that has anything to do with it. Thanks! Edit: I just tested this and this is false. But it does only do it when the 4k monitor is being used.

Hi there I have recently got the XB270HU monitor the setup was quite seamless and I didn't experience any trouble until I launch a game and I get these graphical glitches for a second and then it is completely fine. I am not sure if the graphical glitch is normal when you start a game. Was wondering if someone could confirm for me.

Hi, everyone. So the story goes is that I bought a new MSI R9 390 and it works well except that in some games it has these texture issues all over the game - Just Cause 3 for example: http://imgur.com/a/A6lpx I checked MSI Afterburner and it showed that the GPU usage randomly jumped from 100%-50%-75% in an almost constant loop. On top of that, the core clock (1040 is base, overclocked it to 1100) only stayed at 900-950MHz. Temps are good, hovering around 60+ in-game and 32 when idle. So what is going on? Is it normal to be like that without the glitches? Feedback is greatly appreciated.

After moving to a new flat, I have noticed that my computer has begun to behave extremely weirdly. My observations: - Mouse cuts off for 1-2 seconds, then comes back on (mouse lights done turn off) - Mobo "Gigabyte" Logo displays for around 30 seconds when starting up. - With the screens turned off, the computer runs for about 20 seconds after being turned off - Opening up a drive (eg. E:) takes a very long time, and sometimes fails. - Weird browser related glitches, desktop icons sometimes appear through chrome. This is all on a brand new install of Windows 8 (all updated), my specs are: -i5 3570k -Gigabyte 7950 -2x4 1600 mhz corsair ram - Gigabyte Ga-Z77-D3H Motherboard - Samsung 840 Series MZ-7TD 120GB SSD (C: Drive) If there is anything, anything anyone can suggest, Ill do it.

Above is an example of a graphics bug that happens once in a while when I join a game. I'm not entirely sure why it happens because last night I played an entire match without any problems at all. I can run around and play the game as usual, but these map textures are flickering on and off. I can see thru some parts of the map during this flickering of doors, walls, objects, etc. Below are two more images that demonstrate the flickering of these map elements.
