Does anyone know a method to disable/get rid of this new idiotic new feature that Chrome has put in recently, that gives you the option of Undoing clearing the downloads page? After you download something whether it's in incognito or normal browsing and you Clear the list of what you downloaded, Chrome gives you the possibility to Undo that, switch really annoys me. Is there a way to disable this stupid "feature" ?

My first liquid cooler was the corsair h100i gtx. It turned out to be pure shit. Pump sounded like a jet engine.. I saw corsair had come out with the h100i v2 which was supposed to have "20% lower pump noise", so I bought it, and installed it. Guess what happened.. The pump sounds like a jet engine on the h100i v2 too.. I have it set to quiet mode on corsair link at 1980rpm, and tried to lower the pump rpm in the asus q fan control in the bios to the lowest. Do you guys have any suggestions to a cooler with a SILENT pump, and that has software? Please tell me!

I'm in the process of overhauling one of my projects, a web based booking system, but I'm having a bit of an issue with my htaccess file. The old system was pretty standard, with .php scripts in the route of the website, I had a rule hiding my extensions, and I resultantly had a URL like /viewinvoce?ID=1. I've been trying to find out how to rewrite this URL so it looks a lot neater - in the format /viewinvoice/1, and I'm getting there, but I have a slight problem... The URL /test works - it adds a trailing slash making the URL /test/, and the value 'test' is passed to the webpage. The URL /test/ works as above, a trailing slash isn't added since it already exists, and 'test' is passed to the webpage. The URL /test/1 also works, 'test' and '1' are both passed to the web page, but when a slash is type after 1 (/test/1/) the page throws a 404. My .htaccess file RewriteEngine OnRewriteRule ^([^/]*)/([^/]*)$ /index.php?PID=$1&ID=$2 [L]RewriteCond %{REQUEST_FILENAME} !-fRewriteRule ^(.*[^/])$ http://%{HTTP_HOST}/$1$2 [L,R=301] Ideally, I'd like the .htaccess file to add a second trailing slash to the second variable passed, but I'm a bit confused at this point, and ideally a second pair of eyes would be useful haha.

So I finished building a gaming PC about a month ago now, and am now looking to get a monitor or 2. I am currently using a 32" samsung smart TV that I've had for about 3 years. Still works great and is good quality (1080p), etc. but I now want to get a monitor. I am a little conflicted on what monitor(s) to get. The amount I would spend can vary but will be under $300, probably per monitor. All that stuff can vary though. Anyways, I was looking at a bunch of monitors and had basically been focusing on ASUS and BenQ. I am having trouble deciding though, because I want a low input lag monitor for gaming on my xbox one, but also want a high quality monitor to actually utilize the power my new PC has. Uses: PC Gaming Xbox One gaming Both a variety of games include FPS Productivity (Coding, calendars, emails, school work, etc) I cant decide whether I should go for 1440p or 144Hz or both. Both would be much more expensive but maybe I should spend the extra bucks and future proof a bit/be able to fully utilize my new PC. Is 1440p worth it? Is 144Hz worth it? 144Hz would be good for the PC but then I'd also be console gaming which would not be able to utilize either of those. I would also use this monitor as a second screen for my PC when not gaming. Ultrawide? Maybe I should look into an ultrawide like this one: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=9SIA4JH3HJ8212 for productivity and possibly gaming, and then a 24" higher resolution/refresh rate/lower response time for Xbox and PC gaming like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236313. Or maybe I should just get 2 good gaming monitors in mid-range like: http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824014345 or http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16824236385. OR get one gaming monitor and continue using my TV for productivity. I'm down to any and all suggestions, and let me know if you have any questions. Thanks in advance for your help!

So I want to build a Living room pc to game on from time to time. I was debating on getting a used Alienware X51 or even getting a console but I decided that should be my last resort. Budget : $500 - $600 Games I plan to play : BF4,GTA & MGS I guess you can say mainly Triple AAA Titles What I Want : I would prefer having smooth/Consistent 60 Fps over graphics but I still want the games to look good. So to end this, I'm not sure if I should go with Intel for this or maybe AMD? New Or Used is fine with me! What do you guys think? Let me know! Thank you

Hey people, I've got a bit of a weird here, just as the title implies. this Is the URL, notice the + as third last character http://localhost:8080/activate.php/?user=Tycho&key=HBFoRjKP413osr/5HJySJLmRaXPyVYLh5EnbVjGhz+M= this is the code <?phprequire_once $_SERVER['DOCUMENT_ROOT'] . '/config/db.php';$conn = new MySQLi(DB_HOST, DB_USER, DB_PASS, DB_NAME) or die('Can not connect to database');$message = "";if((isset($_GET['user']))&&(isset($_GET['key']))){ $user = $_GET['user']; $key = $_GET['key']; try{ $sql = "SELECT user_name, user_activation_key, user_status FROM users WHERE user_name ='".$user."'"; $username1 = $conn->query($sql); $username = $username1->fetch_object()->user_name; $activationkey1 = $conn->query($sql); $activationkey = $activationkey1->fetch_object()->user_activation_key; $userstatus1 = $conn->query($sql); $userstatus = $userstatus1->fetch_object()->user_status; echo $key; echo "<br>"; echo $activationkey; if(($user == $username)){ if($key == $activationkey){ if($userstatus == "1"){ $sql="UPDATE users SET user_status=2 WHERE user_name ='".$username."'"; $conn->query($sql) or die("Can not update"); $message = "Your account has been activated succesfully!"; } } }else{ $message = "This account has already been activated."; } } catch(Exception $e){ $message = "This user is not registered."; }}else{ $message = "invalid request.";}echo $message; This is the output HBFoRjKP413osr/5HJySJLmRaXPyVYLh5EnbVjGhz M=HBFoRjKP413osr/5HJySJLmRaXPyVYLh5EnbVjGhz+M= As you can see everything works except that +... Any ideas on this?

I've been planning on upgrade my graphics card from my current gtx 760 but I intended to to upgrade it eventually, but ever since playing things like Tomb Raider 2013 at normal settings kids makes it be choppy and since I've been planing on getting into AAA games like the new Wolfinstein, Arkam Knight, Rise of the Tomb Raider and other games coming but I do frequently play games like starbound, the escapists terraria etc. Here are my current system specs: http://pcpartpicker.com/user/MRE_Teck/saved/Mw7nTW The thing is my mobo doesn't support sli so that makes me lean twords the gtx 980 Also I'm planning on 1440p 144hz.

Im going to buy new monitors for my setup. I was thinking of buying 3 25inch ultra wides or do I just get 1 27 inch 1440p monitor. I have 2 24inch 1080s right now and would like to get the ultra wides but i dont know what the downsides of a ultrawide vs a regular 27inch monitor. Ultra wides don't seem to be popular why is that?

How's eveyone doing on this fine night? I just started using the VSR setting in the AMD CCC and I was suprised on how BF4 looked when changing it to the 4K resolution. The game looked much cleaner and crisper than 1080p. ( Low Graphics Preset ) Now my question is what graphics settings would I need to use to achieve 60 Fps smooth? I would assume I would need a mixture of graphics settings? Any help/suggestion's would be great! Thank you.

Well Hi! I'm searching for components for my new Pc that I'll build in 2016 (due to safeing up money). But first of all, my current Pc: CPU: Athlon X4 750k @3.9Ghz GPU: Gigabyte GTX 660 OC Windforce 2Gb MB: Asus F2A85-M LE Space: 1 TB WD Green Ram: G.Skill Sniper 8Gb @1666Ghz (or something haha) PSU: 600w Someswissmanufacturerpowersupply Nonmodular Case: Cheap and shitty Sharkoon case.. So this Pc was so good for me, and I'm pretty happy with it, cause i got it for about 600 CHF/$ (Yes i live in switzerland) But now I need a more powerful computer, so yup... May I present you.....Drumrooooooooolll.. THE TRUTLE CPU: recommend sth. GPU: recommend sth. MB: recommend sth. Space: 4 TB WD Green + 240Gb SSD (recommend sth.) Ram: recommend sth. PSU: recommend sth. Case: Corsair Air540 Black (Will color the Airgrill to Green Mint) Watercooling Parts: recommend sth. + Green Mint Fluid + Corsair Fans The Turtle will be fully watercooled and will have a "Green Mint" Acsent to it. I added some pictures for the theme... (and yes i'l gona color my case and fan rings and stuff) So what do I do? I'm a Graphic Designer, so the Turtle has to easly handle heavy multicore Workloads. Aaaand yaaassss: I'm also a bit of a Gamer... So I know there will be much more components available in 2016, but I'd just like to plan so i know how much it will aproxipopilop (I don't knwo how to spell this word) cost. (1000-3000.-) Additional Notes: Using 2 FullHD Monitors, Periphals and OS not needed. And I'm Swiss so sorry for the bad english So yes.. If you have some Time to recommend me some stuff, i'd be really happy

Hi! So I got a 690, as you can see. The problem is that my 770 runs ALL the games with higher fps. My GTX 770 runs Final Fantasy XIV on ultra with 5760x1080 res with 60 fps. My GTX 690 doesnt even get 30 fps when i run that game. ALL my games is slower. I get sooo much lower fps with this card. What the heck happend? Wasn't GTX 690 supposed to be a "high end" card? I 've enabled Multi-GPU and I got the newset drivers for GTX 690. Specs: GTX 690 I5 3550 (clocked to 4ghz) 12gb RAM MSI Z77A-S03 motherboard 750w + gold PSU Please help!! <3

Hey guys, First off, here's my setup: CPU Intel Core i7 4790k @ 4.00GHz Motherboard MSI Z97 GAMING 7 RAM 12GB (1x4GB+1x8GB) Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz GPU EVGA NVIDIA GeForce GTX 660 2GB FTW SC Storage Seagate Barracuda 1TB PSU Corsair AX760 So I've recently upgraded my CPU, now I need a GPU that can keep up with it I don't really want to spend more than £300 (which is roughly $450), so I'm looking for a card that can run the latest AAA titles on the best settings possible for the money. I'd rather an NVIDIA card, but feel free to suggest AMD if you think its the best I can get for £300. Also, it has to have 4GB of VRAM. Please help me, there's so many... Thanks in advance

@WinNut, @thekeemo, @IdortMasterRace, @, @patrickjp93, @babbaj and I were all talking. I started a status here about this. I vote CaseLabs. They would be easy to work with, look appealing, be one of a kind and would be suited to me perfectly with all the customization they offer. The Magnum SMA8 comes to mind. Who would you have make a partner for you and why? And yes, I get that this topic is a bit weird...

OK so I'm looking to get a New PSU, and have one in mined but just want more options and I'm trying to make sure i do a bunch of looking up and talking about it a lot till i feel comfortable with what ever it is i may pick. so for starters ill try to be accurate as to what i have and may have for specs and all that. specs. CPU, AMD FX 8350,(from time to time i like to 'OC for fun and for better fps in some games) most of the time ill do 4.7 at around 1.3875-1.4volts. on air CPU Cooler, Cooler Master V8 GTS, this thing is great love it. MOBO, ASUS Crosshair V Formula-Z, also love this peace, Ram, Mushkin Enhanced Redline 8GB (2 x 4GB) 2133Mhz, More great stuff here love it lol. GPU, 1, 7970Ghz Sapphire Vapor-X, again great and im loving it so far. here i do wanna crossfire, this is where the PSU comes in im thinking on newegg i can get the same card 7970Ghz for cheap and keep same looks but unsure of the refurbished cards. or i can just get a R9 280x and crossfire that way and its new. ????? right now im shooting for the 280x but kinda wanna get the same exact card for looks??? anyway. oh and i may OC the cards a little. HDD's, (1,WD-1TB-10k-RPM) (1, WD-3TB-green drive - may add another to it) (1, 1tb-segate something drive idk lo) um another super old hdd that still plugged in but not working should rid of that next time i open case.. oh ya also in a few years or soon i may add another hdd maybe 1, 3or 4tb maybe 2, lets say 2, 4tb for headroom i dont know how much watts hdds use up. SSD, 1, Corsair Neutron Series GTX 240GB, want to add another 240 or another 480 gb ssd soon. USB, other then that i have usb light up key bored and mouse um ps3 controller hooked up and i charge my phone on the pc too um and headset um ya. CASE, Rosewill BlackHawk-Ultra Full Tower has 8 fans 5, 140mm and 3, 230mm wanna add more fans one day or get water cooling loop one day, the tower is the :poop: if this was steam u would see that poop lol um i love this tower everything i ever wanted in it now over the last year or more i think i want to try a small tower out lol. PSU, oh ya ok and right now im using a old 2008 800watt PSU, for the 2 gpus like i said up there im worried about the PSU not Handling it to well. OK and for the part i talk of the PSU since this is the PSU area lol i would love for every one to recommend what you think is the best PSU out there for what i need like should i be getting a 1000watt or a 1200watt. also i want to be able to use this same PSU for the next 7+ years with maybe 2 gpus and all that crap in the future. also keeping in mine age degradation on the PSU, so um first off pls dont put it up cus of low price thats the very last thing i look at, also 80+ platnum would be nice but if there is a say just as good or if it can happen better one at 80+gold??? let me know this is the PSU im kinda sold on now after a while of looking EVGA SuperNOVA 1200 P2 power supply 80 PLUS PLATINUM Certified iv been looking into the load thing 20%50%and 100%loads will my idle load be to low for this i would like to try if i can keep it efficient but still have head room for 7+years of age degradation and other stuff. refurbished GPU's if anyone has a link to make me feel better on buying refurbished that would be great or reasons i should not.....oooohhhhhh yaa edit lol 20 mins later, um iv been trying to learn blender stuff so my cpu and maybe gpu will be pegged at 100 from time to time. P.S. over all i love my pc tho at times i wish i could bring it to friends houses other then that its been doing me well AMD-2017 cant wait. MigM16 over and out

Hi, I am, in my group of human acquaintances, the person that helps people find the perfect laptop/ computer. When the individual asks me about getting a new laptop heres how it commonly goes: Ind: "I am looking to get a new laptop" Me: "Cool, what have you been looking at so far?" Ind: "I was looking at Bestbuy, its confusing, is intel 4000 graphics better than geforce 740m?" Me: "Do you play games on your laptop?" Ind: "No, its just that my current laptop has become really slow and turns off on me randomly. All i need it to do is play 1080p youtube videos really." Me: "I have a suggestion that can save you about $1000" Ind: "Really?" Me: "Yes, the seemingly random turning off is usually caused by too many programs running in the background or an issue with the cooling solution on the laptop itself. What I am about to explain next is rather complicated but trust me you will never want to go back. The part you need is called a SSD, right now the price of this part has dropped drastically compared to when I got mine (OCZ Vertex 3 240gb). This part will make your laptop stupid fast." Ind: "Okay... How do I install this part?" Me: "It's really simple, I can send you a pdf I made containing instructions, in most cases its one or two screws on the underside of the laptop, you would replace the hard drive that is already in the laptop" Ind: "Ok, so, where do I get a SSD?" Me: "I will write down make and model of the SSD and its price on a piece of paper. You know the store 'Memory Express' that is across the street from bestbuy?" *I would write down the make and model of an ssd thats high performance but with excellent value, ex: there was a 240gb(?) sandisk(?) that was about $130 recently* Days later: Me: "Where did you end up with the laptop?" Ind: "I went into bestbuy and got a HP with beats audio, it's got 16 gigabytes of RAM and a quad core intel" Me: "Ah, did you go and get the ssd as well?" Ind: "No, I didn't want to open up the laptop." Me: "I can do it for you, it would only take about 30 minutes, I've done it tons of times." Ind: "yeah but still" Me: "Do you like it?" Ind: "yeah it looks like a mac book." Me: "Nice." Then one day they use my laptop for something and ask "how can I get my laptop this fast?". I feel like getting in a fridge with a bunch of bowling balls and have them roll the fridge down a hill. Until tards like HP start putting SSD in the laptop by default instead of selling a laptop with 2tb of 5400 rpm storage that dies every month cause the laptop is being thrown in backpacks and what not, How do you convince people that SSD's are the greatest thing to exist in a laptop? Ill try to play devil's advocate to responses.

Hi guys Luke here Intro: So here's my question my old monitor recently broke and i have sent it back for a replacement since they no longer do that monitor i have a choose of another one for around the same price or more if i choose to pay extra. Question: What monitor should i get? Information: - Max price range is £200 ish pounds(under £150 would be nice) which is about £200=$315 dollars. - Mainly going to be used for web browsing and just general windows things but a little bit of battlefield, minecraft, and garry's mod gaming here and there - 4K Or 1440p Or maybe 1920x1200 ? But I want to try and away from 1920x1080 maybe? I am not to sure whether 1440p is needed if i am only doing a bit of gaming and mostly windows (FYI: I have a 650Ti boost but will be upgrading to a GTX 970 so pick a monitor that games will still be able to run above 60 fps ). - Should i get a ultra wide screen and get rid of my second monitor or just a normal 16:9 and keep my second monitor? - One with 5ms response time or under? - Don't know about view angles, aspect ratio, brightness, colour depth and advanced contrast ratio? Are any of these things important and a certain number or digit i should look for in a monitor? - Above 23" but i would quiet like around 27" - Thinnish or next to no Bessel at all. Here are some monitors i was looking at! - BTW is liyama a good brand for making monitors? http://www.ebuyer.com/434525-iiyama-prolite-e2773hs-27-led-hdmi-monitor-ple2773hs-b1 http://www.ebuyer.com/620275-benq-gl2760h-27-led-dvi-hdmi-monitor-9h-lc8la-tbe http://www.ebuyer.com/393832-iiyama-prolite-b2481hs-1-24-led-monitor-b2481hs-b1 http://www.ebuyer.com/351419-asus-vs248h-24-led-lcd-hdmi-monitor-vs248h Thanks to all of you that comment and help all suggestions are much appreciated and even tell me about your monitor experience - Luke EDIT: Forgot to mention i need one that's wall mountable.
