Hello I am looking to buy a 27" 144HZ curved monitor with 2K resolution to replace my 24" dell 1080p 60 HZ monitor. I couldn't find an IPS monitor where I live which fits my budget so I guess I'm going with a VA panel which from my understanding is not that bad. I was going to go with the Samsung G5 Odyssey but some reviews said that it had a bad build quality, my second option was the MSI Optix G27CQ4 which according to reviews had some ghosting and blur problems. As for the AOC monitor it was recommended by the dude in the store but I have no idea whether it's good or bad but its cheaper than the others (not by much). Any idea which one is better or if there is an even better option in the same price range 1- MSI 27 inch Optix G27CQ4 2K 165hz Curved 2- AOC CQ27G2 27" VA 2K 144HZ 3- SAMSUNG 27-Inch G5 Odyssey Gaming Thank you so much in advance,

Hi guys! I want to upgrade to a 1440p monitor, 144hz. I am currently playing on an old 1080p monitor with 60hz and I really need an upgrade. This is where my new question comes, which monitor? After days of researching I think these are the monitors I'm looking for, but which one should I get? I know that the viewsonic elite also is a very good monitor but it costs more than 750$ in my country which I don't really think is worth the hardware in it compared to these other monitors. I've just listed some few overall pros and cons with the monitors. ROG Swift PG279Q. A really good monitor for its age but is known as a "gambling monitor" because of the risk of backlight bleed. ROG Swift PG279QZ. A cheaper and newer version of the PG279Q with less blacklight bleed, but it is said to be less bright but Idk. LG 27GL850-B. A relatively new and cheaper monitor with HDR(HDR not working so good because of brightness) and nano ips and very good response times, but has a poor contrast ratio. ROG Strix XG279Q. A pretty good monitor able to go up to 170hz with overclock. HDR(mediocre). Acer Predator XB271HU. Also a pretty good monitor that is very similar to the PG279Q but a bit cheaper. The monitors on amazon with all details here: Acer predator XB271HU: https://www.amazon.com/Acer-Predator-XB271HU-2560x1440-Display/dp/B0173PEX20 Asus ROG Swift PG279Q: https://www.amazon.com/PG279Q-DisplayPort-Adjustable-Ergonomic-EyeCare/dp/B017EVR2VM Asus ROG Swift PG279QZ https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-PG279QZ-Ergonomic-G-Sync-Monitor/dp/B07HZSBW7V ASUS ROG Strix XG279Q https://www.amazon.com/ASUS-XG279Q-Compatible-DisplayHDR-DisplayPort/dp/B083Z8JXW6 LG 27GL850-B https://www.amazon.com/LG-27GL850-B-Ultragear-Compatible-Monitor/dp/B07YGZL8XF?th=1 Which monitor do you guys think I should buy? If you have any other suggestions, pls let me know!

Hello Everyone! I'm getting a new gaming monitor right now and I'm trying to decide on getting the Acer GN246HL or a Refurb Viewsonic XG2401. I can't really decide on which one, and was wondering if you guys would help? I would love for anyone who has one of these monitors to share their opinion or if you have a better idea for a monitor that's 1080p 144hz and ~$200 USD, that'd be appreciated too. Thank you all in advance!

Hello LTT Forum members, I want to buy a new monitor as my old one has become very outdated and I need some suggestions. I am a gamer and I play a lot of competetive shooters like CS:GO and R6, I have a nvidia GPU(gtx970) and I do want my monitor to have great colors and specs if at all possible. I would like 27" but 24" is also all right. My budget is at a maximum of 400 Euros. So do you guys have any suggestions? Thank you in advance.

Hey all! I'm kinda new to buying monitors especially gaming monitors. The last monitor I got was a HP 24uh for $99. I mean it's pretty good for the price (1080p, 60hz, 5ms, etc) but I need something that isn't 60hz and something a lot more colorful. I've been looking around and have only found a few that I like (like this ASUS monitor). I was just wondering if you guys could help? The only things I want in the monitor is that it's <5ms, more than 60hz, and at least 1080p. Thank you all in advance!

Hello, I was looking for a budget gaming monitor so i can play Borderlands 3 (My current monitor is an old syncmaster 730bf 5:4 screen) I came across 2 monitors in my city (Belgrade, Serbia) and i cant decide which one is better. https://www.amazon.co.uk/AOC-G2590VXQ-Widescreen-Multimedia-DisplayPort/dp/B078S36XWV/ref=pd_lpo_sbs_147_t_0?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1&refRID=CKHZTCX1RQDWNDGDVYCT https://www.amazon.co.uk/iiyama-G2530HSU-B1-G-Master-Monitor-FreeSync/dp/B071JH67KN The price is the same here. 161 euros for both monitors I never really cared about graphics in games, i always played on low just so i can hit 75hz, smoothness is key for me. Thanks for the help. If anyone has free time and wants to help, heres a list of all monitors in my price range in my city: http://www.itsvet.com/cenovnik-pda1-31.i?prices_min_n=15000-25000&option=

I need a few opinions, do you think the VG258QR from Asus is good for Sims/Gaming/Video editing? I was looking for 1080p with G-Sync and higher refresh rate, along with it only being 24 inches because I wouldn't be able to fit two 27" on my desk. I am having a hard time deciding whether or not to buy it. If you have other suggestions let me know please! Hey guys, I currently need help selecting a new gaming monitor. I currently have a asus rog laptop with a 2060 gpu and a i7 9750h cpu. The laptop currently has a 1080 144hz 3ms screen, but I’m looking to get into something bigger than a 15 inch screen. I’m stuck between a 27 inch and a 32 inch. I’m using this to play games majority of time, but also to watch things like Netflix and YouTube. I sit normal distance away when gaming at a desk. Any recommendations on what size I should get and what resolution. I know I deff want a 120/144hz min. I’m just torn because I know ppi on a 32 in worse than a 27 but the extra size when watching tv i feel would be nice. I do plan in about a year-2yrs to upgrade to a desktop with some pretty good specs (ex. A 3080 and prob a 3700/3900x equivalent at the time I build) so I don’t want a monitor that’s only good for what I currently have but will be good for the future also. Any help would be appreciated. Thanks in advance. - I really liked curved displays but fine with a flat panel if it’s the best bang for my buck -play games such as cod, valorant, then diff single player games -feel free to leave any specific monitors you may have or recommend that you think would be good for me also

Does anyone know of good budget gaming monitors? I found one that seems alright but it doesn’t have the greatest refresh rate, just curious if anyone has any ideas. Budget is MAXIMUM $300, but if it’s below $200 that would be ideal (Monitor I’m looking at: https://amzn.to/2X9JPVM)

I am looking at purchasing the monitor in the in the link, it sounds like an excellent monitor at the price point considering others with similar are 20% more expensive. The concern I have is the 250nit peak brightness for gaming, should I be concerned with this? Or is there others I am better off considering. I am happy with 32inch and I also use GSYNC so that would be good in the price range. TL:DR 250nit brightness enough for gaming? Thanks for any information you can give, Insanity. 34" UltraWide Curved Gaming Monitor 34UC79G https://www.harveynorman.com.au/lg-34-ultrawide-curved-ips-gaming-monitor.html

Ebay is having a deal for 15% off of everything right now. And I desperately need a new monitor. I'm currently using a cheap tv as a monitor and it's only 1360x768 (i think) i got it before i had a graphics card. So as the titles says I want to know what other people think would be better for gaming? I have an i7 6700k and a gtx 1060 6gb and plenty of desk space. Any advise or product reccomendations would be much appreciated. Also my budget would have to be sub $500.

I've finally bought my rig and I pickup the parts tomorrow. At the same time i'm going to replace my old 24" Dell monitor. Trying to decide between the LG 34UM58-P and the Acer XB270H-G as they're both the same price. LG - 34", bigger screen, higher resolution, but 60Hz (it says 75Hz on the site but that's only with freesync active apparently - i have a 1070) Acer 27" - smaller screen, 1080p so lower resolution, but g-sync and 144Hz. I'm going to use my PC for BF1, Forza Horizon 3, and a few other games. I'm also going to do video editing and some CAD work. I feel like the 34" would be nice, and i could use the space and resolution - i'm concerned it'll be an issue during online games though With this in mind, what monitor should i buy and why?

Hello, Greetings, I am looking for a 1080p,1ms response time and 120hz or above gaming monitor but the problem is my budget is REALLY tight I cannot afford more than 200 USD and I came across these Korean made monitors, one of which I really liked - X-star DP2414LED but I don't know of these are good or not and if they really give 144hz and the advertised 185hz after overclocking. So I found out this review http://www.overclock.net/t/1574678/x-star-dp2414led-144hz-1ms-overclockable-to-185hz-or-more but I am still not sure if I should go with it or not so I need your help to decide. Thank you.

Hello, Greetings, I have a samsung s24c350l.Not a gaming monitor at all but I still use it to play all of my games.Well it's one a a few monitors I own and none of them are gaming monitors.I once saw Mr.Sebastian's video on a gaming monitor and I was amazed, absolutely amazed that It had no perceivable motion blur when he was moving a window slow enough. When I did the same thing on my monitor at the same speed,I couldn't read a thing that was written.I wan't to know If I invest In a gaming monitor how much better will it perform in terms of motion blur and motion blur ONLY. Here is my monitor, bathing in motion blur - (Sorry for the choppy FPS)Thank you.

I have been having this discussion with a couple of my friends.. Which monitor delivers much sharper and more detailed image quality between a 23" 1080p monitor and a 27"1440p monitor?? Or rather.. Which resolution can you pick even outside the mentioned resolutions will give the best image quality in reference to the monitor size?
