Hi everyone! I'm new here and need some help! I'm looking for a new chair for my room/gaming setup, and after lots of research, I'm wanting to get the Secret Lab Titan Horde Edition chair, and here is the link to it incase you need to see for yourself- https://secretlab.co/collections/titan-series#titan_2020-horde I've never owned or sat in a racing style "gaming" chair, so I have no clue what it would feel like or if lasts a very time. I do know this is really a personal preference situation, but I don't want to risk buying a chair for $400+ in which I will not like. Please let me know if this a good idea or not, your experiences with a similar style of chair or secret labs themselves, and other chairs that would benefit me more than this one in the long run, as this would be very helpful! (Also nothing over $450 as I'm on budget) Thank you!

How do you guys stay cozy? I sit at a desk for school and it is the most uncomfortable thing ever. The edge of the desk digs into my arms. I currently have a super comfy setup at my TV where I have a mini-sofa right up against the TV stand. The TV stand has an opening for VCRs and consoles where I put my feet, and my keyboard sits on my lap. There’s a mini-table right next to me where I put my mouse and my PC in front of that. Thing is, I’m moving to a desktop setup in about a month, and I wanna know if there’s any way I can keep that level of comfort. Any creative and out-of-the-box ideas are welcome!

Hello! i have been looking at the secretlabs chairs but cybeart has a pretty cool lothr chair and at the same price range i wonder if its a big downgrade in quality to but a cybeart instead of a secretlabs.

Hi, First time posting in this forum but have read may of the posts so go easy. I'm in the market for a new chair and as the LTT guys have have been the recipients of new Maxnomic chairs since the office move I wanted to know how they fared after a year or so. As a normal consumer these chairs are at the top end of my budget so wanted to know if they are worth the money. Also if they still offer the same performance further down the line. Ive looked a lot into the other ranges of chairs e.g. dxracer, Vertagear, noble and a few others. Main reason I looked at Maxnomic was that they seem to cater towards taller guys. Im 6"6 and prefer to be sitting high rather than slumped in my chair. I use my PC for moderate gaming and a lot of office work so long hours are expected. Can anyone offer any advice/personal preferences for this range of chairs or offer any as an alternative? Cheers

Hi LTT, Boxing day is almost there, I've been searching for worth the bucks kind of gaming chair for better comfort as I always feel sore using a chair that doesn't support my back which is a cheap chair from Canadian Tire. I'm 6 ft tall and weights at almost 200 lbs. I've seen some couple of chairs like Maxnomic Dominator, Vertagear SL-5000 and DXRacer King Series. Budget is about $500CAD and I really like the Maxnomic Dominator, It looks like I'm paying more because of the shipping fee that comes with it which is $99USD. I know Vertagear is on-sale right now at Bestbuy and Gaming Chairs at amazon is pretty much out of stock (The one's I'm kind of looking at). I'm from vancouver and I know LTT/LMG are from Surrey so any luck getting help here maybe by helping out get that Maxnomic Dominator or Any better way to get that Vertagear SL-5000 or PL-6000? Pretty much everybody encountered a situation, when parts of a headphone wire, that regularly touches your body, get stiff. And, as I understand, it's happens not only with wires, but with everything, that made from some sorts of PVC or polyurethane and had a regular contact with human skin. I work in RMA departmant of some big (for my country) importer of random quality Chinese goods, varying from Steelseries peripherals, to cheap af lawn mowers. Recently (about a 7-8 months back) we started to import ThunderX gaming chairs. And now one of them came to me (physically) with a complaint about cracks in material of seat and armrest. This chair was in use in about 5 months. Actual cracks obviously caused by "general wear and tear", or, simply because somebody sat in tis chair only in his underpants or in short shorts, because actual damage located on a front edge of a seat, in dents, where hips of the user touched surface. Faux Leather ("Eco leather", according to manufacturer) in this dents is much harder, stiffer, than in, for example, back side of a backrest of a seat, where user skin didn't touched it. We denied this RMA request and provided official statement (in paper, to be shure), but user, obviously, is not satisfied and trying to push this matter through different channels. Is there any chemistry based proofs, or studies, or whatever, that I can base new official statement? Or maybe I'm horribly wrong? I was pretty shure about my desition first time, but now I need evidence, that cannot be challenged.

ORIGINALLY POSTED ON THE LEVEL1TECHS FORUM Well, the title states it pretty well IMO. I’ve been wanting a gaming chair for my pc setup, just to help “complete it” if you know what I mean. However, I don’t want just any gaming chair; I’m actually wanting 1 with custom-graphics/artwork since I’m an art lover at heart. But I also would like it to be high-quality like the SecretLab gaming chairs, etc. I have already tried contacting some of the manufacturers I have found via web searches, but haven’t been able to find someone who does it. :’( And I just really have the feeling that SOMEONE out there does it, I just haven’t found them yet. So I figured, “Hey, I can at least make a post on 1 of the forums asking & see if anyone might be able to steer me in the right direction. You never know until you try, right?” So, I think I’ll just leave it at that & see if I get any responses. If any of you need more details or feel the need to ask me any other questions about this little personal project of mine, please feel free to do so! I’ll be sure to fill you in! Update 05-2021: After Linus told me Maxnomic chairs are quite durable and good for your back this is the result after 2 years of use. First signs of seat wearing happened after 1,5 years of use. I sit around 12 hours a day for work and gaming. The chair also doesn't lock anymore so I'm forced to lean back or not to lean at all. As for comfortability: This one isn't that comfy at all in the first 6 months, after 6 months it became comfortable. Tdlr: I need a new chair now hehe, can't work while leaning back, because it makes me lazy and unproductive. Dear Sir/Madam of Linus Techtips, Thank you for your attention! I've seen many video's of your linus tech tips, but you guys have never made a review about the gaming chairs you use. In your video's I notice that LTT uses gaming chairs from Vertagear and Maxinomic, I don't really have the money or a local shop that let me try all these gaming chairs. I would like a honest answer of your employees which chair sits really comfort for long period of time. Of course if possible to consider the build quality. Thank you in advance, since this will help me with buying a gaming chair. To give you a direction, I can't really judge which of the gaming chairs below feels best to sit: - SL2000 (vertagear) - PL6000 (vertagear) - MAXNOMIC® PRO-CHIEF BWE - MAXNOMIC® COMMANDER S BWE - MAXNOMIC® CLASSIC OFFICE - PL4500 (upcoming rgb chair I guess maybe someone can guess how it will sit or is comparable to)

To be honest it doesn't need to be a gaming chair just one that is really comfortable and reliable. I'm currently using this monstrosity http://www.ikea.com/gb/en/catalog/products/S19885043/ which isn't bad for the price but when studying for hours at a time on this it is really not comfortable. So, does anybody know a really good brand which makes chairs, a good chair in particular or a website/store to buy one from? Thanks.

Well, in the last 1-2 weeks 2 new chair manufacturing companies popped up. Both are working with Caseking.de and Overclockers.co.uk and seem like they are not interested in rushing the USA/NA market so far. The first one, NobleChairs (http://www.noblechairs.com/) is offering some high priced premium chairs and has some new shiny stuff like real leather (i can feel PETA, my vegan friends and my girlfriend killing me slowly if i buy one). And they managed to break the 500€ barrier on a normal chair. New standart, overpriced or who cares? Some digging around showed me that the homepage is registered on Caseking.de staff, so that will be most likely a EU thing so far. The second one is Nitro Concepts. (http://www.nitro-concepts.com/en/home/) Thats a new brand, owned by Aerocool in Taiwan. No idea why they decided to use a new brand istead of using the old one with the existent customer base. Meh. I have their stuff and i like it, it works and was not extremly expensive. They offer "budget" chairs around 170€, but some features are gone to maintain that price. They dont look as comfortable and most stuff can not be adjusted, but it might be still worth it, not everyone can pump 300+€ into a DXracer or Maxnomic. So far they sell chairs on Caseking (France, UK and Germany) and in Hungary via Caseking Kellytech. Getting them for a review could take some time, but who ever here has an audience and is willing to kick their inbox - try it. I´m too small for that Still nice to see the market moving on and new people jumping in, that will improve the quality and bring down the price (if they do it right).

Recently I found some crispy gaming chairs from DXRacer.... But unfortunately the shipping is not available for my country (India)... Are there any alternate Gaming chair manufacturers ?

Everything I see is over 200 + pounds..Anyone know any cheaper?

Hello everyone, I am currently in the market for a nice chair. I am looking for a chair that will also support my head, being since I sit in a chair for about 8 hours a day doing various IT administration task. Last week Linus reviewed the MAXONIC chair and those chairs look very nice. A great deal of my friends have also suggested DXRacer. I was wondering if I could get some opinions from various other people. I have contacted the support of both companies asking them why their chairs are better than their competitors. NeedForSeat simply replied that they have superior products with better parts. When asking NeedForSeat for scientific evidence the support personal stated that he had none but he has dealt with both products and states the MAXONIC seats are much better. I will past the email below. DXRacer simply responded that they do not have an opinion on any competitors. Thanks for your interest in NEEDforSEAT USA. Sorry for the delayed response. We've been really busy lately and understaffed; I've gotten a little behind on emails. The difference between brands is that MAXNOMIC are superior to DXRacers in every respect: they have stronger metal, better bases and cylinders, softer--more comfortable--foam cushioning, armrests with a greater range of motion, softer pillows, a tilt mechanism that you can lock into place in any position, wheels that don't scratch hardwood floors, etc. . . As to which chair would be best for you, let me know your height and weight and then I'll recommend the chair series that would best fit you. I hope that helps. Feel free to ask any more questions.
