Hello everyone and thank you for reading and helping This is my system right now: Ryzen 7 3700x 32gb RAM 3200Mhz Gigabyte RTX 4070 Ti Gaming Oc GIGABYTE X570 AORUS Elite 750W Corsair PSU My monitor is 1440p 144hz My cpu temps are "fine" around 40 degrees while idle and around 75-80 while gaming (I use the stock wraith cooler so of course I know it is hot, but no thermal throttling so... I guess is fine? My gpu temps are nice, 36 in idle and 55-60 while gaming After all the information let's go to the issue, when I changed my graphics card from my 2060S to this new 4070 ti, Overwatch 2 has given me a constant crash while playing in 1440p 144hz: "Your rendering device has been lost! Application closing!" *Playing at 1080p is totally fine tho, no crashes at all in overwatch I also had crashes with Elden Ring and cyberpunk 2077 games that have very little requirements to almost none work just fine So here is what I have tried so far: -Undervolting my gpu -Going back to older gpu drivers -Changing the resolution (that worked for ow, for cyberpunk it didn't and for elden ring I didn't test it) -Setting the graphics on low -checking systempropertiesperformance has enough dedicated space (16gb to 24gb max) -SysMain is working I also ran furmark 3 times and it seems to be alright, nothing strange, also run Heaven Unigine using 1440p and max settings and again, no problem. I don't know if this is normal but my fans won't work until it reaches 54 degrees (I have change that with afterburner) And also while watching videos or doing almost nothing I could see my gpu spiking sometimes to 99% use just for brief moments, I don't think that's normal ( Please I need your help with this and sorry for my english Update: -DDU the older drivers -Updated the BIOS -Updated drivers for the cpu just in case I think it may be my psu, it's a 4 year old 750w corsair RMx, which doesn't have 2 rails of 6+2 power connectors, only 1 rail with with two 6+2, the only thing keeping me away from considering this is that it should give me problems as well during the stress test, or not???

Hi everyone/ anyone who see this! It's Jimmy here.. I built this PC a while back. Msi 1660ti, AMD Ryzen 5 2600x, Asus B450m-plus motherboard and 2x 8gig ddr4 3200MHz ram. ( if you need more details of anything here, let me know!) And all seemed swell.. I got playing games I wanted to, I studied music production so was able to get my DAW installed and working away. Was happy as Larry, until one day a game I was absolutely glued to, Sea of Thieves desired to not load for my anymore.. I'm 60 hours in to this game and then poof.. no more game. Sad times were had. I did what anyone would do and googled a potential solution. If any of you do, you get his with the general, uninstall/ reinstall. Check your antivirus be sure your not overclocking ECT. I even contacted the forums for the game but we're only asked to follow the steps which I said above. I even completed whipped my PC and with no luck of a solution? With not much luck, I just felt it was a lost cause and didn't play the game again. But recently, now Fortnite is crashing on me and similar solutions are appearing for me for this game and I just have no idea what is happening my computer. I'm just mainly here to ask for any bit of help to see what I could look out for or where I could start looking to see if I have any hardware/ software issues I may not be able to see? Any help would be appreciated! Hope you all have a good day! Love here from Ireland, Jimmy.

I need help determining why all my games keep crashing. I am not tech savvy in any sense, and this is the first pc I've ever owned/built. I'll try to include as much info as possible so that hopefully someone can help me here. THE SITUATION- First of all, I am not currently overclocking. I have tinkered with slight GPU overclocking, but nothing serious or dangerous. I used MSI Afterburner and MSI Kombustor to see how much It could handle, watched a video on how to use them and inched it up until Kombustor froze up, and then toned it down a good bit below that point. Have since turned the overclock on Afterburner off. Temps for all my components across the board are within acceptable ranges. Cpu is a 5900x, temps average around 43°c-65°c, with brief spikes to 81°c max during gaming. Gpu is an MSI Gaming X Trio 3070 with temps averaging around 34°c to about 54°c when gaming, drivers are up to date. Ram is 4 Corsair Dominator Platinum 3600mhz(32 gb total), temps average 34°c. Memory is WD Black M.2 1tb, temps average 35°c-40°c. Motherboard is an AsRock X570 Taichi Razer Edition, chipset temps average around 30°c-45°c. THE PROBLEM- I'll try to cover all the details here to try and narrow down the problem hopefully. When playing, my games have been crashing. It never crashes on launch, always during gameplay. This can happen within anywhere from 3 minutes in to gameplay to around 1 1/2 hours in. Nothing has to be happening in game which would cause stress when the crash occurs(gunfights, large areas with ai being loaded, cutscenes, etc.), It will crash whether I'm in action or idle, but has never crashes when in menu. When crashing occurs, the game will always freeze image, but I can always continue to hear the in game audio continue in the background when this happens. Then it will either black screen temporarily or just boot me to Desktop and the games will automatically close. I have received no error codes whatsoever when this happens, which is irritating since one would think the computer would be able to have some way of recognizing the issue and notify me. There are other apps which seem to crash in the same way when launched, most notably Razer Cortex and MSI Center. When launched, sometimes I will have some system lag/freezing it seems(can't move mouse, videos stop playing, etc.), and then my computer will black screen and the apps will close themselves. Sometimes I can't even open them at all. THE SOFTWARE/APPS- Thought I'd list all my misc. apps in case any of them are known to conflict with each other or cause such issues. -Omen Command Center -Razer Synapse -Corsair ICUE -WD_Dashboard -Steam -Discord -Nvidia Experience -Core Temps -Ubisoft Connect -MSI Center -MSI Afterburner -MSI Kombustor I should also mention that I am using several programs that are "boosting" performance. One of those programs was Razer Cortex, which was using the boost mode but have since uninstalled it since I suspected it may have been the culprit after the app would black screen me and close randomly when launched. There are 3 other programs I have correctly "boosting" or "optimizing" right now. WD_Dashboard for my WD Black m.2 SSD, Norton 360 gaming which is supposed to prioritize system functions when gaming, and Nvidia Experience for optimizing games through whatever settings it suggested for each game. Thanks for the help if anyone has any clue what the issue is.

I recently finally upgraded to a 1TB SSD for installing my games. Ever since then, games periodically crash while I'm playing. However, I have determined that the new SSD isn't the issue, and the crashes are getting worse (Used to crash to desktop, now the whole computer is crashing). I have run Cinebench R20 on a half hour loop with no crashes to rule out the CPU. I ran furmark for roughly half an hour to rule out the GPU being the issue (while monitoring temps). To determine whether the new SSD was the problem, I installed HDSentinal, as well as the Samsung Magician software. Both read all my disks as being in good health. I also installed a game on my boot drive instead, still got a crash. I am running the latest GPU drivers, and even freshly installed Windows 10 just today, still crashing. So I come to you for help, as I am running out of ideas (and patience tbh) with this issue. Any thoughts/advice would be greatly appreciated. EDIT: PC Specs are listed in my Signature.

Bought a pre-built pc (i know... i know) about a year ago. Immediately started having games crash. Not all games, but most of them. the games I'm able to play are very inconsistent in regards to their power draw. examples of what im talking about: Games that work flawlessly: Rocket league, Diablo 2 remaster, destiny 2. Games i can play with periodical crashes: Tiny Tinas, Far Cry 5 Games that crash almost instantly: Cyberpunk, borderland 3, planet coaster Am fairly new to PC but have researched quite a bit on what could be causing the crashes to no avail, and have made upgrades in an attempt to fix it. Current build: MoBo- gigabyte z590 ud ac (came installed) GPU- nvidea geforce 1660 super (came installed) Ram- Gskill trident 16gb (new installed myself) PSU- Corsair RM650x (new installed myself) CPU- intel I7 11700k lga1200(new installed myself, literally today, used to run an intel i5 10400f) as far as i can tell all of my drivers are up to date, and components seem to be fine after running numerous stress tests. I also swapped my friends GPU with mine to test if mine was failing, same exact gpu. games still crashing. im at the end of the line as far to what i feel comfortable doing on my own, so here i am asking for help.

Hello all, first time poster, and I have to say I am sorry it came to this. I have been TSing issues for the past 6 days trying to get my games (mainly Call of Duty: Modern Warfare but others are crashing too) running and I just can't get it to run. Start of issues: So I decided that after seeing so many of my friends playing this game I would take a gander and see what all the fuss is about. So I bought the game and was shocked when I saw the 200 GB download, but figured what the hell, there's a lot of content in the game. After taking roughly an hour to download (400 MB Download/Upload speeds fiber optic). I loaded in the game anxious to play! I downloaded the shader cache (even though I was playing Multiplayer I still waited for the full install) I got into my friends party and started up my first game! Loaded into the game just fine and chose my weapon loadout. After about 6 seconds of the initial sprint, my game crashed. And then started the downward spiral that is my experience with every DEV error imaginable. First off, I am going to throw down my computer specs: OS: Windows 10 Home 64-Bit Updated CPU: AMD Ryzen 5-3600 6 Core (3.6 GHz stock) RAM: 16 GB DDR4 (G.Skill) Motherboard: MSI X570-A PRO (MS07C37) Bios firmware - H.83 (Updated) Graphics: 4 GB VRAM Nvidia Geforce RTX 2060 (Drivers updated to 26.32.14.4587 (445.87 Version)) Storage: 167 GB INTEL SSD (SSDSC2BW180A4) (SATA) 2 TB Seagate ST2000DM001-1ER164 (SATA) 500 GB Samsung Portable SSD T5 SCSI (USB) Power Supply - 750W EVGA 80+ Gold rated. Errors: Dev Errors - 5624, 5763, 6328, and 6068. (6068 is the most common) These errors happen at random times (loading screen, connecting to online services, while in-game, start of a game, or even in weapon loadouts. Troubleshooting steps taken: -Factory Reset on PC -DSIM restorehealth /scanhealth (CMD Prompt) -Turning off every single program besides MW. -NVidia Control Panel tuning (Vsync ON and OFF, Setting power for high performance, Rendering, setting GPU to RTX (even though only one Video card) -Set Graphics to default, low, high, and ultra -Set to Window, and fullscreen -Reinstalled the game on HDD, SSD (SATA) and SSD (USB) -Reinstalled shaders -Used DDU to completely remove all graphics drivers and audio drivers in safe mode and rebooted. -Turned off windows auto update for Graphics Driver / AMD Drivers auto updated. -Turned off XMP mode in BIOS (Even turned down Frequency of RAM to 2133 instead of 3200 (My cpu only allows for 3200 even though MB allows for 4400)) -Turned off all overclocking of CPU, GPU, and RAM. -Turned off and unplugged 2nd monitor. -Scanned and repaired game files. I even went so far as to test my hardware on a 2nd PC: -Switched my HDD with another HDD. -Switched my video card out for an Nvidia Geforce GTX 970 (still issues). -Switched my RAM out for 2x4 GB Viper DDR4 RAM (from a WORKING PC) -Switched my RAM into the working 2nd PC and it worked fine. -Could not test my video card on the other PC though due to size issues. One thing to note also, when I get the DEV Error 6068 (DirectX Unrecoverable error) it seems to lag up my computer for about 10 seconds after the crash happens. I do have a snapshot saved of the event viewer after the crashing if you do need it. If you need any more information, please feel free to ask. I tried to add all the information possible to make it so you didnt have to ask so many questions but I am only human. If any Devs happen to see this, please help! I would like this to be resolved. I appreciate your time and effort in viewing this post to anyone who reads this. Snips attached of windows event viewer (No minidump files created due to no BSOD) I did do some digging but when looking for these errors not all of the numbers matched up so I figured I would reach out for assistance. My first gut feeling is either the Video Card or the RAM. Also attached is an error report from a different game, this claimed a RADAR_PRE_LEAK_64 and from looking that up maybe the RAM had cached all the memory from Call of Duty? Unsure. Sorry for the long post but it has been a long week and I am tired!

So I built a new computer in november of last year and I have had a problem with crahes in games ever since. Most of the games that are crashing first freezes and then quits to desktop with no error messege, and some freezes the whole pc and requires a reset from the button on the case. The game that is crashing most often and freezes the whole pc most often is battlefield 5. My specs: 9700k Corsair 150i aio 2080ti 32gb 2666 corsair vengence Prime z390-a 850w antec hcg psu What I have tried: I have removed all oc. Reinstalled graphics drivers with ddu. Tested the ram. Changed compatability settings for affected games and changed settings in the nvidia controllpanel. Even reinstalled Windows. Then I used msi afterburner to put a power limit on the gpu at 80% current, that seems to have made the problem less frequent but it also limits the performance. I have the latest graphics drivers and bios update. And temps in system are low. Does anyone have an idea of what the problem could be or what more I could try?

Before I begin with my spiel, I would like to preface this troubleshooting topic with my system specifications. CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 2700X CPU Cooler: 360mm Fractal Design Celcius S36 AIO GPU: EVGA GeForce GTX 1080 Ti SC Black Edition MOBO: Gigabyte Aorus Gaming 7 WIFI (4 DIMM slots) RAM: 32GB G.Skill Flare X (4 8GB sticks) SSD: Intel 660p Series 2TB M.2 NVMe SSD HDD: Two 2TB Seagate Barracuda set as sequential drives PSU: EVGA SuperNOVA g3 650 watt 80+ gold certified This has been my very first build and it has been a bit of an acrid experience for me. After many learning experiences I find myself in a dilemma; some of my games keep crashing shortly after loading into a multiplayer game and have yet to resolve this issue. I've downloaded every conceivable driver that is necessary according to the hardware I have. The latest Nvidia driver for my GPU, all Windows 10 updates and drivers, and MOBO drivers. I have been back and forth on various forums reading about the same issues other people have had and testing those methods that solved their issue to no avail. I have also posted on multiple forums with no such luck. This is my first topic I've written fully detailing my experience(s) troubleshooting this computer. Friends have told me it could be the RAM but after conducting many tests via software and process of elimination I can confidently say it cannot be the RAM. I theorize that some of the GPU memory modules could be "failing?" I tested 4 games. Two via the Steam launcher and the other two have their own independent launcher. I started these timers from the time I began the lobby queue for multiplayer gaming. PUBG lasted about 47 seconds before the game freezes and crashes. Realm Royale lasted 36 minutes and 54 seconds with no crashing. I simply just got bored of playing. Escape From Tarkov lasted (also the only game I ran under administrator) approximately 2 minutes and 1 second before crashing. 1 minute and 8 seconds marked the completion of loading into the "raid." And in the case of Minecraft, it's time began when I loaded from the lobby to the server which was about 25 seconds. This game lasted for about as long as I could stand to play it with no crashing for the entire 28 minutes and 47 seconds. Here's why I think it's the GPU. EFT and PUBG are notorious for large budgets of VRAM to run those games, whereas Minecraft and Realm Royale don't. Let me know what y'all think. I also think it should be noted that the two aforementioned games (PUBG and EFT) freeze and crash to the desktop, not crash the system. Thanks in advance!

My games keep crashing and sometimes fortnite keeps using 9-10 GB of my ram which causes the game to crash or even run at 10 fps. at first I thought fortnite was the only game that was crashing but CSGO, GTA online all of them started crashing. I emailed epic games (I didn't know it happened on other games at that point) and they sent me this" However in case you have proceeded with all of our troubleshooting steps and you are still encountering FPS drops you are possibly experiencing hardware issues. As I am certain you understand Epic Player Support is unable to further assist you with changes regarding your PC."Is there a way to fix this? this usually happens after playing the game for 30,40 minutes and for some reason happens the most on creative, Except it doesn't happen at all on my islands. Most of the times it says fortnite is using "10GB" in task manager but a few times I saw "unrealcefsubprocess" use it instead and it fixes when I ends that task but it comes back after 10-15 minutes but fortnite starts using more ram instead.(fortnite) On GTA and other games it just crashes without any error other than the launcher telling me it crashed. Is this something to do with my GPU? or my CPU? (Fps drops down to 1-10)Specs:Cpu: i7-8700kRam: Corsair VENGEANCE PRO RGB 16GB (2x8GB)Gpu: MSI RTX 2070 Gaming 8GMB: MSI MPG Z390 GAMING EDGE ACMy OS is on: Samsung 970 EVO PLUS M.2 250GBMy game is on: Samsung 860 EVO 500GB SSD

So, its been a week sense I put together my new build and It seems like there are some games that are crashing a lot. The main two games are Far Cry 4 and Battlefield 4, after googling the problem, it seems like a lot of people are having the same issues I am, they, weirdly enough, both crash after about 10-15 minutes of play, Far Cry 4 in single player, Battlefield 4 in multiplayer. My specs are in my signature, but if you don't want to look at it, here they are: CPU: Intel i7 3770 (no overclock) GPU: Asus STRIX 970 (no overclock) RAM: 16(2x8) pny xlr8 1600mhz OS: Windows 8 (64-bit) Anyways, hopefully someone will know how to fix this, or let me know my build has nothing wrong with it (or does )...
