Hey guys, I recently acquired a WiiU gamepad. And I can't help but want to some how get it working on my SteamDeck box (holoISO). I saw this article https://www.phoronix.com/news/Wii-U-Gamepad-Driver-v4 I have tried to find more on the driver but most of what I can find looks like matrix code. If anyone could point me in the right direction to some resources that are novice friendly I would greatly appreciate it. Thanks!

I have a friend who loves to play Final Fantasy XIV. It plays amazingly well on a gamepad, however, he's having issues with his fingers when using the L2 and R2 triggers. These are used to control the special hotbar that was designed for controller users. The issue is the pressure needed to keep the L2 & R2 triggers held down for long periods of time, they're making his fingers hurt. It is an ergonomics issue. He has Thrustmaster's new ESwap X controller that Linus reviewed, he was using that but the L2 and R2 even in their short distance mode still put too much stress on his fingers. We're both aging gamers, this is why this is an issue. I've been trying to find a good PlayStation Dual-Shock 2 style PC controller where L2 and R2 are clicky buttons and not paddles. As a gift, I bought him the ZD-V+ USB Wired Gamepad for PC, it has buttons for L2 and R2 but they're terrible. They float on top of the button so you have to press the entire button down pretty hard to make it activate, so that's not going to work. So, here is what I need help finding. A gamepad for PC, connects via USB, has a good build quality and isn't cheap, and the L2 & R2 triggers are actually clicky buttons instead. I don't know if anything like that exists but I figured if anybody could find something like that you guys could. Please help, thank you.

So I've been experimenting with using joy-cons as a controller on android (11). The only issue is I can't get half the buttons to work (specifically the d-pad buttons or right controller's joystick). Searching online is basically useless from what I could find it's mostly people talking about running Android on a switch or people just saying pair it via Bluetooth and boom, you're done! Figured I'd ask around and see if anyone has some ideas, I'm trying to use it with Parsec but I also tried on gamepad tester apps and it's always the same buttons that aren't recognized.

I recently bought a Wii U from a friend. Upon using I discovered that the R and ZR buttons do not work despite all the other buttons working. When I opened up the gamepad I did not find and physical damage to these buttons. I used some isopropyl alcohol to do some cleaning insides and nothing changed. At the end of the ribbon I was able to trigger ZR and R using my multimeter but that is as much progress I was able to make. I know the grey buttons on top of the ZR and R are not the problem since they work on other buttons. The photo attached shows that most "damage" I found, I was able to clean it all off.

I've asked this question before and people don't seem to comprehend what I'm looking for for some weird reason, so I'll try to explain it again differently. I'm looking for a PlayStation style USB gamepad for PC where the 4 shoulder buttons are all buttons, no paddles. On nearly all controllers, the lower L2 and R2 shoulder buttons are paddles, and I'm having the hardest time finding one that isn't some cheap $20 Chinesium piece of crap that will fall apart in a week. This is for a friend of mine who needs it for physical reasons. We thought about the Xbox accessibility controller, but that's overkill and way too expensive for his needs. Please help. Thank you.

Hello Gamers, I have been thinking to purchase a Gamepad recently and fell into indecision. It's because my experience to the Havit HV-G83 wasn't very good, rubber pads underneath the buttons got broken and 1 trigger button went faulty within 6 months of purchase. So I have decided to go for a well known brand this time and selected these two, Logitech F310 because its cheaper than Microsoft, also comes with 3 years warranty. On the other hand, Microsoft Xbox Series controller doesn't come with any warranty and the price is three times than Logitech. Have to mention that I will be using it in my PC and I play mostly Red Dead Online and Mortal Kombat. So I am very confused about durability of them as I have no experience using any expensive Gamepads. Any suggestion from users would be very helpful to me. Thanks

Hi all, I recently revived my Thrustmaster 458 Spider wheel (Xbox only) after replacing the potentiometer to fix some steering issues. It was working perfectly. I wanted to try and use x360ce on windows as to try and get the wheel to work. (Since I last used the wheel I have moved towards PC Gaming) For unrelated reasons which I've only solved now, I couldn't get the wheel working as I wanted, so I went into device manager and removed the wheel. (Or xbox gamepad as it was recognized) After this, the wheel and all it's buttons are not recognized by x360ce, and I noticed in settings the device has gone from having the gamepad symbol to the generic computer and phone symbol. Only the buttons however, did still work in simple windows like Xbox game bar. Upon realizing this I went to plug the wheel into my Xbox One S, and it recognized the buttons, however steering and pedals did not work. I am not entirely sure how to go about the problem, so any help with getting the wheel would be appreciated.

My logitech f710 seems to not load drivers when it boot up , before windows 10 1909 I was able to install the xbox 360 drivers and fix the issue but now even with xbox drivers it happens the same way , even if I let windows choose the best drivers is the same issue . So since I bought it I have too much work with this but since was bought on second hand I can´t do much more , I can not return it if it was brand new I had returned when I bought it ... but anyway , any recommendations of gamepads for windows 10 ? I was thinking about getting a XBOX 360 wireless controller.

Hi guys, I'm Evans. For some time (I don't remember exactly when it started) I'm having some issues with my secondary controller. I'm using two PDP Xbox One USB controller on my PC, and I ave two problems: - everytime that I boot my PC, the controller "number 1" is the "number 2" and viceversa. - if in a game, for example, I set the controller vibration on OFF on both of them, if I reboot the PC one of them has the vibration on ON. In simple terms, my PC saves only one config for one of my controller and the other lose the configuration. These are my PC specs: Windows 10 1909 (latest updates); AMD Ryzen 5 3600; MSI X570-A PRO (not latest BIOS update); 2x8GB Corsair Vengeance LPX 3200MHz; Gigabyte GTX 1660 Super. Thanks to anyone will answer.

So according to their website each gamepad comes with it's own assigned USB receiver. Does that mean I can use two at the same time or will games (GRID 2) not recognize them as two different devices? http://www.trust.com/en/product/20491-gxt-545-wireless-gamepad

I know the picture isn't very easy to see but it's an 9 pin connector and yes I've tried googling it but to no avail.. Anyone know what kind of cable it is? UPDATE: because I'm an idiot and didn't figure this out sooner I made this post..so consider this thread DELETED

Hello guys, I recently bought this usb otg controller (https://www.amazon.de/GameSir-G3w-Gamecontroller-Controller-Playstation/dp/B019PSLC36/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1497898563&sr=8-1&keywords=gamesir+g3w) for my galaxy note 3 to play some games and it works really well ... the only problem is that I cannot charge the phone while playing because the only usb port is taken up by the controller. So I thought that there might be a adapter to split the one micro usb to 2 female micro usb ports but I didn't find such a thing. Is there some way to charge the phone while using the controller for gaming ? Thanks already

Hey! I've been playing good old nfs most wanted online recently and came across an interesting finding. One player claimed that his keyboards' key presses work similar to how analog joysticks on game controllers work. In other words, he claims that he can adjust the exact rate of rpm by pressing harder or lighter on "up" arrow key and car only turns depending on the force he applies onto the left/right keys. I know it makes lot of confusion since I've been using quite a variety of keyboards and went thru most of the high end offerings to date by top accessory makers but never found a single product that has the similar functionality advertised. I'm just curious to know if such products really exist. Please share your thoughts bellow. Thanks. **EDIT** Additionally I've realized that the controllers are a better choice over keyboard for driving/racing titles. Which device do you personally prefer to play such games for casual/semi-pro gamer? Feel free to list some as well. (never tried a controllers on pc. how is the compatibility?)

I have been for a last year methodically searching the best controller for PC gaming. I have been a keyboard and mouse player for whole my gaming "career" but in recent years I have been moderately bummed that game interfaces have been designed straight up to gamepads. Latest example of this in my opinion is The Division 2 which is really cumbersome to use with kb/m combination. All this is totally understandable because this way developers don't have to design 2 different interfaces for PC and consoles. I have tried many different controllers and come to a conclusion that DS4 controller with Steam configurations and gyro aiming is very good compromise between mouse and gamepad. However with it's poor battery life and lack of programmable paddles (that could be used e.g as face buttons) I have been searching through 3rd party "Elite" and "Pro" controllers. This is just another can of worms that I can't to my skull. For example Razer Raiju Ultimate wireless costs 200€ but does not support Gyro on PC! For a 200€ one should absolutely get every feature and then some. I also tried both Scuff DS4 controllers and with these Gyros work on PC but their build quality was not even close to their asking price. With this post I would like to hear your thoughts on how Gamepads could be utilized on PC gaming even beyond their default features and also answers on few questions for users that have using controllers mentioned down below: - Does Nacon Revolution Unlimited Pro work with Gyro controls on Steam? - Does C40 TR Gaming Controller work with Gyro controls on Steam? - How is the build quality on Evil Controllers and does these work with Gyro on Steam?

I'd like to map the RB button to tab while I'm playing Stardew Valley. I can't find a way to do it, autohotkey can detect gamepad inputs but it can't output them. I'm using a Das Keyboard 4 professional and as far as I know there is no software remapping software (similar to razer synapse etc) available for it. Is there anyway to achieve this functionality? Either through AHK or other third party software (ideally with automatic game profiles). Thanks
