Sources: BBC, VirusTotal, Securelist I know news about a new malware strain isn’t particularly interesting but I posted this as more of a PSA as the attack method is via drive by download meaning it doesn’t require user interaction to execute it. All it needs is to have the user browse an infected website. It seems that the attack is more localized than a global pandemic. With that said, at the time I’m posting this, 43 out of 66 anti virus programs are now detecting it (including Windows Defender) which is good. Make sure to have your AV programs up to date and enable cloud protection for faster protection. Also, it’s a good idea to use standard accounts instead of admin accounts.

That could be anything other than scripts like unedited footages or even company data. So at the moment, if you'll ever stumble upon leaked episodes, don't watch it just yet and wait for the rest of us. To be honest, I'm not really a big fan of the show until last year after excessive persuasion from a friend. I'm wondering now what are the rules set within HBO's firewall that a data breach happened. ¯\_(ツ)_/¯

So... I have a subscription to HBO GO... My question is, does it provide 5.1 sound and how? I Have a Vizio TV and the app is not supported, I see HBO thru my computer on my tv, I dont have an xbox one or PS3/4 to watch it on those systems... And I didnt find it in the Microsoft store... any suggestions?

After watching game of thrones season 6 e4, got me thinking that danny would have the largest army but i think jon and danny would die at the end fighting. tyrion may end up having the iorn throne, and sansa would get the north (i wish)

Game of Thrones Season 5 Episode 9. Anyone else going to watch this? Only 2 more episodes left. R + L = J

The first two episodes of Game of thrones season 5 have been leaked online. The torrent is quickly rising in popularity and based on last seasons statistics and the fact that the second episode wont be available until a week from tomorrow, these torrents may break some records. There are rumors that a 3rd episodes has been or will be released soon and possibly even a fourth, although for now these are just rumors. I think if HBO wants to reduce the number of pirated copies they need to release the leaked episodes on online platforms like HBO NOW and give fans a chance to legally watch them, otherwise i have a feeling many people will not hesitate to download them. If you are one of those people, just keep in mind that if not all the episodes are leaked you will have to wait several weeks before you can see the next episode. Telltale Jurassic Park: The Game and Telltale Game of Thrones has anyone played these? Also Tales from the Borderlands. I just wanted to know if these games are worth it? I know Jurassic Park game is on sale for 75%. Also the other two games will be on sale I assume. Are they worth it? I know they are not done. Anyone have these games?

These gigantic corporations, most of which could buy North Korea with pocket change, are declining to show a film because Kim Jong-Un objects to being mocked? The level of corporate cowardice here astonishes me. It's a good thing these guys weren't around when Charlie Chaplin made THE GREAT DICTATOR. If Kim Jong-Un scares them, Adolf Hitler would have had them shitting in their smallclothes. Even Sony, which made the movie, is going along. There are thousands of small independent theatres across the country, like my own, that would gladly screen THE INTERVIEW, regardless of the threats from North Korea, but instead of shifting the film to those venues, Sony has cancelled its scheduled Christmas rollout entirely. I haven't seen THE INTERVIEW. I have no idea how good or bad a film it is. It might be hilarious. It might be stupid and offensive and outrageous. (Actually, I am pretty sure about the 'outrageous' part). It might be all of the above. That's not the point, though. Whether it's the next CITIZEN KANE or the next PLAN 9 FROM OUTER SPACE, it astonishes me that a major Hollywood film could be killed before release by threats from a foreign power and anonymous hackers. For what it's worth, the Jean Cocteau Cinema [Martin's theater in Santa Fe] will be glad to screen THE INTERVIEW (assuming that Sony does eventually release the film for theatrical exhibition, rather than streaming it or dumping it as a direct-to-DVD release), should it be made available to us. I'm sure I don't have to say it here, but just in case: PLEASE NO SPOILERS FROM THE BOOKS! Thank you! I knew it! I soooo fucking knew it! This is why we can't have nice things. Martin plz, you are getting predictable. So why did I think that the mountain was going to win? Well, aside from Martin being the most evil person in the universe, the mountain is a special character who is sort of "the will of the writer" or "the executioner". He has a very special role that is hard to express, but he is sort of an outside character that is not very integral to the story, and he is sort of the "go get shit done" character. I don't know whether he is dead or not, but doesn't change the outcome. Anyway, I suspect that the Martells will have a revenge fit, and this will jumpstart another war, now with the new lineup: The Martells, The Lannisters, Stannis Baratheon, Lord Baelish, House Bolton and maybe the Greyjoys. Oh, and that Arya scene was really funnny imo. The look on the hound's face was priceless!

Telltale working on Game of Thrones and Borderlands games. (I know they are old announcements) My Opinion: They should have kept their games to just The Wolf Among us and The Walking Dead. I am going to get tired of all these Telltale type games if they are all going to involve the same mechanics. The attraction of The Walking Dead was that Telltale had brought back point and clicks in an original way basically creating their own genre of games (like you can point out a game as a 'Telltale' game now just by looking at it). In my opinion it is not enough to just have different art styles between these games but we will see how much they change between games. I am optimistic but also cautious about these upcoming titles but personally I would rather have the episodes for the games that are already out (the wolf among us, the walking dead) be brought out quicker instead of newer games. What do you guys think? Please keep discussion constructive.
