Hello, could someone please explain why my RAM frequency remains at 2133MHz even though I have 3200MHz RAM? Here are my system specifications: Motherboard: ASUS ROG Strix B550-F Gaming WiFi II (https://rog.asus.com/motherboards/rog-strix/rog-strix-b550-f-gaming-wifi-ii-model/) CPU: AMD Ryzen 7 5700X RAM: G.Skill 32GB (2 x 16GB) DDR4-3200 CL16 (https://www.gskill.com/product/165/166/1536654268/F4-3200C16D-16GTZR) I have 2x16GB RAM sticks installed in the correct slots according to the motherboard manual. In the BIOS, the RAM frequency is set to "Auto" (default). Thanks in advance.

Hello there, I've been trying to get my new setup's memory frequency to match its advertised rating of 3733 Mhz, but enabling XMP and adjusting FCLK to 1867 didn't help. I am using Kingston HyperX Fury 2x16GB RGB 3733 MHz DDR4 memory sticks on Gigabyte Aorus X570 Elite, CPU: Ryzen 7 5800x I welcome any guidance or suggestions solving my problem thank you

I have intel core2 duo E6850 with 3Ghz base frequency but after installing Windows 10 (had windows 7) the processor never goes upto that mark, even when I am running heavy apps like Andoid Studio the max frequency is about 2.4Ghz. The task manager shows the same as base frequency while the processor's actual base frequency is 3Ghz. Here is the screenshot of Task manager: I checked the frequency using HWiNFO while running stress test (in case task manager showing wrong info) and here is the snap: I googled about it and have already tried following and NONE of it worked: 1. setting power option to high performance 2. changing max and min performance values of power plan 3. modifying start value of intelppm in registry to 4 4. running cmd command "ren intelppm.sys intelppm.sys.bak" 5. using throttlestop and unchecking "BD PROCHOT" What works is that when I boot from linux live usb (Zorin OS) I was able to perform tasks and use upto that 3ghz frequency speed. I don't understand why Windows 10 cannot do that? Should install windows 7 again or perhaps linux?

I looked around a bit and didn’t find quite the answer to my question. I am folding, everything was just peachy until this am. My CPU and GPU started to hardcore throttle down at the same time, return to normal for a few seconds and repeat. Temps seemed to be good on both. My laptop is ROG GL503GE Core : I7 8750h Graphic : 1050ti The problem I'm facing is when I run stress test using Intel XTU CPU frequency drops from 3.8 to 3.0. The laptop is plugged in. Also there is power limit throttling(gets yellow while running stress test)..

Hi’ I’ve seached all over the web, about Ryzen 3000 and which RAM that works well with the the processor. I found this thing called “Infinity Fabric” which is some thing AMD uses to determine “the sweet spot” in terms of RAM frequency and Cas Latency as far as I’ve understood. I saw this picture AMD released for their Ryzen 3000 series, where it said that the best price/performance spot was 3600MHz and CL16. So I went at bought these g.skill TridentZ neo DDR4 RAM (F4-3600C16D-32GTZNC) with CL16-19-19-39 1,35V. It specially says on the box, that they are “engineered to provide premium performance for the latest AMD Ryzen 3000 series on the X570 chipset platform” I have a Ryzen 9 3900X CPU and Asus Rog Strix X570 F-Gaming MOBO. NOW I’ve updated the BIOS and suddenly options appear, like FCLK frequency. But I don’t know what i should fiddle with, I don’t want to kill the electronics. Under the tab “Ai Tweaker” (inside the bios) Memory Frequency is set to ‘Auto’ and it says the target DRAM (which I guess is RAM/Memory) frequency is ‘2133MHz’. I can in here (the BIOS) set the Memory Frequency to some values between ‘DDR4-1333MHz’ and ‘DDR4-6000MHz’ instead of ‘Auto’ (3600MHz is one of them). FCLK Frequency (which is something to do with infinity fabric I think) is set to ‘Auto’ as well, where the Target FCLK Frequency is ‘1200MHz’. Like the Memory Frequency can I instead of ‘Auto’ set some values. Here between 666MHz and 3000MHz. Target CPU speed is 3800Mhz (it has gone over 4,2 MHz, when using the computer though - I don’t know if it has something to do with “AI Overclock Tuner” or “Perfermance Enhancher” being set to ‘Auto’). It says DRAM voltage is 1.2V i don’t know if it has to be 1.35V as it says on the TridentZ neo box. But I can’t change it - it’s not an option to change ‘auto’. Under a sub folder “Ai Tweaker\DRAM Timing Control” The DRAM CAS# Latency is 15CL and is set to ‘Auto’ - can’t change it. I’ve noticed that Increasing the DRAM frequency to 3600MHz increase this to like 25CL or something. (Which is what I don’t understand, when the RAM says it can do 3600Mhz and CL16 - specifically for the Ryzen 3000 Series in order to get infinity fabric 1:1) Don’t know if I have to check’ something, if I am to change these ‘auto’ values. What should I do, in order to get maximum out out my RAM?

First of all, yes, this is a old laptop I know but that's not the point. I've seen a few videos where people overclock this CPU at stable temps and mine have stable temps too! but with amd overdrive or whatever overclocking program if I try to push the frequency above 1.5 Ghz it just goes down to like 0.5 Ghz or 0.8 although my temps are all the time under 60 degrees at 1.5 Ghz. If can someone help figure what its going on I will really apreciate it, If you need more info to help me ask me

Hey, i just bought the "Corsair Vengeance RGB PRO 32GB (2x16GB) DDR4 3200MHz" RAM Modules and after installing i checked CPU-Z if they were running correct, but there the DRAM Frequency is at 1066 MHz, and not the 1600 as it should be. What can i do? i tried to load a XMP Profile in the BIOS, but that didn't change the frequency, although i chose the one with 3200MHz Thanks for your help
