  1. Hey guys I'm fairly new to this but now im at wits end and decided to try asking here. Just a week ago the games that i play started to drop in frames. I have the geforce overlay and i know the average frames each games but its mostly noticeable when i play cyberpunk 2077. Before everything in the setting is maxxed(geforce experience optimised) but decided to turn ray tracing off anyways (even though it was recommended to be on). The average i get the week prior to this week is around 75+ to low 90 fps but ever since i updated the driver that released on the 30th of October, my frames have started to drop as low as 35+ while highest doesnt even reach 55 frames(doesnt even reach 60fps). Ive looked on reddit who had similar issues and followed the steps that fixed their experiences, which worked for like 2 days until the issues came back. I also tried to lower the settings to the lowest possible settings which the frame stayed the same frames. Now i dont know what to do. I dont know too much about pc yet(still learning about pc) Pc specs(if this helps) Mobo: rog maximus xi Cpu: intel i9 9900k Gpu: rog strix 2080ti oc 11gb Psu: corsair 1200hx Tower: lian li o11 dynamic xl Storage: boot: intel 2tb, extra: samsung 890 sata 4tb ssd Cooling: custom water cooled
  2. So recently I got upgraded from GTX 1060 to RX 6700 XT. The main issue is that now games stutter when I start playing them and after few seconds stutter is gone but minor stutters are still there after few minutes although 1060 had lower fps but didn't experience any of these stutters even on older games like gta vc and gta san. On FurMark test it doesn't show any stutters. Things I tried: -uninstall old nvidia and amd drivers through DDU -changed pcie auto to gen3 in BIOS -tried unplugging my second monitor -disabled iGPU Later i decided to fresh Install Windows 11 but no luck, still have some stutters and in addition to that now i can feel 5-10 fps drops from originally i was having before reinstalling windows with same graphics settings. Please help me in this its too frustrating.
  3. Hello, I'm pretty inexperienced in understanding what is happening exactly, but long story short, I got a 4k tv and wanted to get smooth 4k gaming, got my GPU, new parts to make it compatible and I got it all running. I launched Hogwarts legacy and notice quite a bit of screen tear and some dropped frames. I have my settings on max and have tried to have my tv display both UHD 4k native at 60hz and on PC 4k at 120hz. Tried going through the BIOS to set memory frequency to auto, 6000mhz (per someone's instructions) and 5200 (per https://www.amd.com/en/products/cpu/amd-ryzen-9-7950x). I'm not sure if it could possibly be my fans not expelling most of the heat properly, since I have just the one. If you need more info, please let me know. 4. Hi, I really dont know what to do anymore... Somehow I have these really annoying frame lag spikes, which are appearing randomly while playing Rocket League. I have these spikes in the main menu and ingame, on every possible combination of graphic settings ingame and possibly every setting in the AMD Radeon Software... With and without Freesync or Vsync I always get these lagspikes... It would be awesome if someone maybe know whats the reason for this. And yeah.. it only happens in Rocket League! Every other game runs without a problem! 5. I have a problem with frame drops and heat issues. Hardware: GTX 1650 (87 Grad in Game) Inter i7 10700 16GB ddr4 Software: Windows 10 Issues in Rainbow, Minecraft, Among Us, DbD, and many more.
  6. Hello everyone:) First of all, please excuse me, if my grammar is not the yellow from the egg, english is not my native language:D Specs of my system: Ryzen 5 3600X no OC ASUS ROG Strix RTX 3080 10GB no OC 16GB DDR4 3200Mhz RAM MSI X-570 A-Pro MB Latest Drivers for GPU and Chipset and here's a userbenchmark score: UserBenchmarks: Game 192%, Desk 96%, Work 182% CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600X - 91.5% GPU: Nvidia RTX 3080 - 213.9% SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 120GB - 79.2% SSD: Samsung 850 Evo 500GB - 116.1% SSD: Samsung 980 NVMe PCIe M.2 1TB - 243.2% HDD: Seagate ST1000LM035-1RK172 1TB - 69.6% RAM: Kingston HyperX DDR4 3200 C16 2x8GB - 87.4% MBD: MSI X570-A PRO (MS-7C37) I believe it's since i upgraded my system from a 2060 to an ASUS Strix 3080 i get consistent frame drops in every game that i play in fullscreen every 7 seconds. and when i say every 7 second i mean i can literally count to seven and it will drop...that can't be normal. I'm going to upload a screenshot from AC Valhalla, that pretty much shows my drops in that little graph. I get those drops in every game, if it's Cyberpunk or Superhot, so it can't be graphics alone. As soon as i set every game to windowed borderless mode, the drops are completely gone but not every game has that option for example AC Black Flag. I tried troubleshooting the problem several times, heres a list what i tried so far. Disable Windows Fullscreen Optimization Changed windows high DPI Settings Disabled all the Windows gaming functions Closed MSI Afterburner and Riva Tuner in the Background Tweaked a few settings in the Nvidia Control Panel like threaded optimization and tripple buffering Set the refresh rate from my Monitor to 60Hz Enable/disable V-Sync in game and in the Control Panel I probably tried even more, but i lost track.... I ran out of ideas where this problem might be coming from and before i reset my system i wanted to ask you guys. Just tell me if i forgot to mention something.
  7. Hey guys! I have tried some troubleshooting myself, and am to the point I think I know the problem. My only concern is that if I am right, I have to buy a new cpu and motherboard, which I do not wish to do if I can find any other way to fix my problem. Anyways My rig consists of an intel I7-6700 nonK, Samsung 860 evo ssd, 16gb 2333 ram, amd 5700 (non reference card), with an Asus hero mobo. I am having trouble with getting a smooth gameplay, especially with first person shooters. I really think it is something to do with the CPU, however I am unsure. I will get decent frame rates (above 60) and then go to turn and shoot someone and have frame drops/freezing. I can't tell exactly what the problem is, I just know that it is enough to make me not play on my PC, as I can't manage to have a smooth gameplay. I have tried turning down the settings and it does not seem to help. Stress tests for the gpu run fine, and this leads me to believe that my cpu is either just underpowered for my GPU, or that there is something wrong with it. Any guidance would be greatly appreciated.
  8. Hey guys, Old Gaming Rig CPU: i5-4690k MOBO: some GIGABYTE MICRO-ATX GPU: MSI 6GB 980ti Storage: 250gb Samsung EVO for OS, 1tb Seagate HDD , 2tb Barracuda HDD Memory: 16gb of DDR3 PSU: 700w Corsair GS700 i had this rig for around 3-4 years and everything was fine until i started experiencing some stuttering which i primarily noticed when i was gaming. The stutters seemed to happen once every 3-5 minutes and i remember them getting more intense around 2-3 months ago. Hardware Changed: I got tired of these stutters and decided to start changing some parts, my CPU was often at 100% usage when i was gaming and so i thought the stutters originated from this. So i purchased a Ryzen 3600x, an ASUS Prime x570-p, and 16gb of DDR4 G.Skill Trident Z. I also tried installing games from my HDD's to my SSD's to see if it was a HDD issue but the stutters also happened. I removed the 2 HDD's from my build entirely and am running with the 3 SSD's: 250gb evo, 120gb from amd, and 500gb Kingston. Once all parts were put in and functioning i started checking temps and tried gaming again and i quickly noticed the stutters had not gone away. I then went onto the next possible problem, my GPU. I bought a MSI 2070 8GB Armour and installed it in and tried gaming, and although my PC's overall performance greatly increased but the stutters are still happening every 2-3 minutes. New Gaming Rig: CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x MOBO: ASUS Prime X570-P Ryzen 3 AM4 ATX GPU: MSI RTX 2070 Armour 8GB Storage: (same one as old build)250gb Samsung SSD, (same one as old build)120gb AMD Radeon 7 SSD, 500GB Kingston SSD Memory: G.Skill F4-3200C16D-16GTZR Trident Z 16gb 3200 MHz DDR4 PSU: SAME ONE AS OLD BUILD - 700 watt Corsair GS 700 Software Based Tests done/noticed: - Fully wiped each drive and reinstalled a clean version of windows and started everything anew 2 weeks before buying the new parts. - In the performance tab of Task Manager and on MSI Afterburner every time i experience one of these stutters i see i dip in the GPU usage. - Used HWmonitor, MSI afterburner, Core Temp to monitor my cpu and gpu temps to and it never goes above 70 degrees Celsius when gaming. - I have run numerous benchmarks/stresstests with 3Dmark to see any problems and no stutters appeared. - I used a samsung monitor software to stress test my SSD's with no problems detected. - I flashed my BIOS to get the newest version from the MOBO's website. - Updated Ryzen drivers, Chipset drivers. - Followed a lot of online forums which said to change certain settings in the Nvidia Control Panel, to change timers using CMD, to change cpu performance modes to 99% instead of 100. - Used Display Driver Uninstaller in safe mode to uninstall drivers and install older drivers to no avail. What i think might be the issue So im considering changing my PSU because its literally the only part i haven't changed apart from my SSD's which i dont think are the problem because they seemed to pass the stresstests. I read somewhere that if the PSU isnt giving the gpu or other parts constant voltage or enough it can cause dips in the parts performance? However, i dont want to spend anymore money without a guaranteed fix because its been a pretty expensive past few weeks... hoping you guys can see something i haven't. Thanks for your help!!
  9. My PC is having a frame drop issue. This happens in and out of games, literally at any time. My PC will be running smoothly, then abruptly drop down to 0fps for ~3 seconds. I have been troubleshooting this issue for weeks, replacing and trying new parts. I have finally upgraded my motherboard, which I assumed was the final thing to check, and my issue persists. In the list below, my PSU, MOBO, and RAM are all less than a month old, and I purchased the 2080ti roughly around the release of the Valve Index. Unfortunately I cannot pinpoint exactly when this issue started happening. MOBO was purchased "used" from NewEgg but it arrived quite literally brand new. PC Specs: Processor: Intel i7-5960x Mobo: Asus Rampage V Edition 10 - BIOS 2101 Graphics: EVGA RTX2080ti FTW3 RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 4x16 (64GB) PSU: Seasonic 1000w Windows 10 Home Insider version 2004. Build 19613.1005. Can confirm that my drivers are all up to date. CPU and GPU do not spike in temperature nor performance when these frame drops happen. CPU sits idle at ~30C and GPU sits idle at ~35C. This issue persists with and without OC to CPU and GPU. As well as with or without XMP profile for the RAM. I have fiddled with various NVIDIA control panel and Windows power settings endlessly. Currently everything is running 100% stock at the time of typing this. Thanks ahead of time. EDIT: After reinstalling Windows and installing quite literally nothing but Discord and a singular game through BNet, I have noticed that my lag issue only starts occuring after the PC being on for several hours. Even after gaming heavily all day, my temperature readings are still cool. This is leading to me to possibly believe that one of my temperature sensors is faulty and possibly the GPU is running too hot? Would love some insight from the community! Thanks ahead of time.
  10. Hey Guys I recently bought GTA V but after some time I noticed huge framedrops especially when driving fast but sometimes even the sound disappears for a small fraction of time. I'm kind of guessing that my CPU or RAM is the problem but I'm not sure so it would be nice if you could take a look at my setup and tell me if it's simply to bad for GTA V. Note: I started at 2560x1440 but lowered it to 1920x1080 but it didn't change anything Setup (only the important parts): CPU: i7 3770 @ 3.4 Ghz GPU: Nvidia GTX 1070 Memory: 2x 4 GB DDR3 @ 1866
  11. I am having an odd and annoying issue. Youtube videos are dropping alot of frames while in fullscreen mode on my PC, like 1/2 to 2/3 of the frames are dropped (according to the "stats for nerds" on youtube. I have 2 monitors and a TV, my PC is more or less a media pc so i like to have the TV to watch videos, movies, or couch game, and my TV is where my PC's audio is running through, so having it not connected is an issue. My right monitor and TV are duplicated, I.E. showing the same images on each screen, and the left monitor is normal. The panels are all 60hz this has been happening for ages I have tried reinstalling drivers, Chrome, and anything else i can think of that might have caused issues. but now it seems that the screen duplication is the only reason why i am losing so many frames while watching youtube videos, and its only while videos are fullscreen on the right monitor/and tv if videos are played fullscreen on the left monitor, no drops i also tested having both monitors duplicated, which caused the same issues and having no screens duplicated, videos played in full screen just fine on all screens when duplication was off. any help for this odd problem would be welcome, Ive been dealing with it for months and its driving me crazy.
  12. Hi, I guess. After much profanity I think I've done the only sensible thing and turned this to an audience with greater computer knowledge. As long as I can remember I've had this issue, but only recently after tweaking with my gpu settings (VIA MSI AFTERBURNER & EVGAPRECISION X OC) it has started concern me. As the graphs show in the linked image I'm having a throtteling issue. I can't see why this would occur and decided that I'll try and fix it once and for all. I've tried swapping around fans to acouple of different positions with no luck. 13. I love this game but there is one Problem..... The problem is that when I try to play offline, it automatically reconnects. EVEN THOUGH I blocked it with my firewall it still connects... Can Someone help me with this problem because it is really annoying, Thanks.
  14. Ever since I came home earlier today my pc has been acting strangely. When I first fired it up it started with some razer chroma login issues. After that, regular games like csgo just started having framedrops around every few seconds or so. I have checked every driver and I can't seem to find an issue hidden in there either. Does anyone have a solution?
  15. Hello guys, I noticed a weird performance while using Blender 2.80 on my PC. Basically, when I move the camera or do something with the object the first few frames are really choppy, and it gets pretty annoying since moving the camera is probably the thing you most do when modeling. I tested it in ZBrush and I get the same problem, but this time it's more noticeable when hovering the brush over the model. The model itself is not heavy, in fact, it still happens with an empty viewport or a simple cube. Moving panels in Blender have the same effect. I just updated the graphics card driver and had no success. Although it took a lot of time to detect the compatibility (something close to 5 minutes), which I found to be pretty weird. I noticed that when moving the camera the GPU usage spikes from 0 to 50, maybe there's a delay or something that is causing this? I also changed the power cable before noticing this issue but I'm not sure if this can be the problem. My GPU is a EVGA GTX 1080Ti SC Black without overclock, I also have a Ryzen 7 1700 and 16GB on 3000MHz. I'm using a 4K monitor, but it still happens on my 1080p secondary monitor. I did some tests on my PC at work and I have no problems with it and it's running a 980Ti. The GPU spikes when moving the camera hardly go past 10%. I haven't noticed this issue while gaming. Does anyone know a solution for this issue? Thanks!
  16. Hello, this is my first ever post on a forum like this, so please bear with me if i'm bad at this. I experience system hangs, my pc is unresponsive but reamins under power and frozen, it locks up, the audio turns into really loud static machine noise, or repeats the last thing heard infinitely, mouse and keyboard stops responding. Generally my PC seems to be underperforming when it is working, the only thing I did in the BIOS is set the correct RAM speeds, which my motherboard downclocked for some reason. I did everything correctly, using the default values that was given by Corsair. I tried the downclocked values as well, did not help. The pc seems a tad slow when for example opening a browser, my other weaker PC seems to react faster, but I could live with this. There seems to be no physical wear and tear on any hardware. At least I see none. To fix the freeze issue i have to reset the computer or shut it down via powerbutton, this results in work loss and ofc frustration. Current rig Info: (Bold ones are new ones) MOBO: B450 Tomahawk Max with latest BIOS version CPU: Ryzen 5 2600 CPU Cooler: Wraith Stealth for a month, Currently Gammax 400 with noctua nt - h1 paste GPU: Sapphire RX 590 Nitro+ with latest stable Radeon adrenaline driver RAM: Corsair Vengeance 2x8gb DDR4 3000MHZ CL16 1 SSD: 250 GB WD BLUE via Sata cable 2 HDD: 1TB WD BLUE and 500GB WD BLUE HDDs (latter was disconnected for now, I'm afraid of data loss) PSU Chieftec Force series 650W Bronze+ (MODEL NO: CPS-650S) 64 bit OS : Fresh Windows 10, with latest updates. Case: Cooler Master N300, with two case fans to keep everything cool. Recently I decided to upgrade different parts of my PC. I started from upgrading my graphics card from gtx 950(2gb) to Sapphire Rx 590 nitro+ (8gb) My problems began here with terribly inconsistent framerate values, dropping to around 39 from 60 in older games (even from 2003). I would understand if the older games were not supported by the current AMD drivers, but even newer games struggled to keep on a consistent rate and i began to see microstutters. I use vsync because I have a 60HZ 1080p monitor. I believed at this time that this could be because of a general bottleneck issue. So i decided it's time to update my CPU and MOBO I went with ryzen 5 2600 which i used with it's stock cooler for a month, then I switched to the gammax 400 cooler and MSI b450 tomahawk Max, with 2x8 Corsair DDR4 3000mhz. Framerates got a bit better. My system is powered by my chieftec force series PSU 650W bronze+. Now I never had similar problems as far as I recall, this PSU powered 2 different configs, that is why i'm reluctant to deduce that my PSU is the cause. (I believe it is unlikely that it goes bad the minute I install new parts.) My problem occurs randomly, sometimes I can go multiple hours even under considerable Gpu and Cpu load, sometimes it crashes with only an OS running and nothing else. Temperatures: MIN load 27-30 celsius on CPU and 35 on GPU, MAX load/sress load around 65 for CPU and 75 on GPU. The PSU is warm to the touch while stress testing but not even close to hot, it's airflow is guranteed. What I did to try to find what causes my problem: First of all I did a DDU driver cleaning, and reinstalled every driver, no positive change. Upgraded BIOS, no imrpovements. Then i tried to pinpoint the cause by benchmarking the PC. I used PassMark, 3DMark, AIDA64 HWMonitor etc. I measured temps, clock speeds, disk write speeds. Everything seemed to be in order. I did try my friend's rx 580 in my rig, and it had similar results although it did not crash IIRC, taking my suspicion away from the GPU at that time. I tried memtest x86, I did only 1 pass on the RAMs because I was in a hurry, but that pass came back perfect, I did not suspect the RAM in the first place. I had memory problems on a different rig 3-4 years ago, and it always returned with BSOD and not this weird crash, and i could immediately figure the problem out with a simple memtest. Picked it apart, bought my new cooler and installed it, temps went further down, still get system crash. Tried disconnecting my 500GB HDD which is the oldest, then tried disconnecting my other HDD, did not help. Reinstalled the OS multiple times. No improvements. Tried running only a Linux Mate OS from a flash drive, which crashed in 14 minutes. I used the Linux to check my Disk integrity(everything was mostly in order, i followed up on the values it returned, did not bring back any faulty values that would mean that any of the drives are dead. Again these drives worked perfectly before the upgrades, like the PSU). Given that i ran the PC without win 10 and drivers and it still died , I gave up hope that this is a software issue. I did check the DMP files, but again, if it was the OS or the driver which it referenced, it would not happen on Linux at all. We stress tested my PC with AIDA64 stability test with my friend, which crashed my PC a few times, but it sometimes went 35 minutes, sometimes it went on for more, like an hour, sometimes less. Games I tested with: Witcher 3, stuttery, but stable FPS. SW:Battlefront 2 on Ultra, was really awesome and stable at 60 fps until the latest Driver update, which made it stuttery again. Jedi academy 2003 Horribly inconsistent FPS can even drop to 35 from a 60 (I never had framerate problems in this game, neither did any of my friends with similar rigs). Jedi Fallen order, not the most PC optimised game, mostly stuttery but stable FPS sometimes. Unfortunately I cannot provide game footage at this time. I also noticed that after a longer period of running a more hardware demanding game, youtube videos seemed to be out of sync a tiny bit with it's audio, and seemed like it had low framerate... REALLY WEIRD. I found an oily/greasy substance on my hand which was not thermal paste after touching the motherboard a while ago, given that i don't use my PC in a kitchen, it is highly unlikely it is my fault it was there. Could it be that some hardware leaks something? Today I tried it again with the stability test, monitoring temps with my HWMonitor. I checked everything in that test, CPU tests, GPU tests, DISK tests, MEMORY tests. I was keeping an eye on HW monitor temps always when i did this, but today right before the dreaded System Hang crash which happened after around 30 minutes, I saw a reading of 204 Celsius Temp... just what the ****. I only noticed this temp once. Given that the RPM was fine, i have zero clue what the hell is going on anymore, if this reading is correct, the cpu would be beyond fried, and it would be smoky in the house. My pc can still turn on as of this moment. I did try my friend's rx 580 in my rig, and it had similar results My only takeaway: Maybe one of the peripheral hardwares is dead. Maybe the PSU is too weak? 650W should be fine for a combo like this, given that my friend runs his own rig with 550W with an rx 580 and ryzen 5 2600x. Maybe the PSU did die after 3 years of usage? Could be a motherboard failure? I have no ways to measure if my MOBO works fine, no multimeter for example. Capacitors seem to be fine but i'm not entirely sure on that... It could also be the GPU since, when i dont put higher loads on the GPU, my system seems to be running for longer times. Things I did NOT try: Other PSU, Rig without SSD connected, other SATA cables, because they seem to be in perfect condition and they are not old, Reverting back to my i5 4590 and try my video card again with that config (it is much work to reassamble that but maybe i will try in the future) Other mouse or keyboard (again the old config did not crash ever IIRC so i doubt its those pieces of hardware that worked perfectly before) Different power cable for PSU. If I had to guess it's my PSU/SSD/CPU/GPU/MOBO that can cause problems like mine. Help PLS! I'm sorry for the litany. I am by no means an expert, but I built several PC's in my life which lasted, I never encountered a problem like this before and i'm clueless. If you take the time to read this and provide any tips on what I should do, Thank you very much. P.S I did try reading around, but since every rig is different, and my case scenario is somewhat unique because of that 204 celsius temp i measured once, i decided for the first time in my life to actually ask for help on a forum.
  17. I have been experiencing this issue for the past month or so where I encounter hefty visual response lags and video frame drops when I unplug my laptop from the power source. Here are some of the things I have tried" Check the power mode and set it to Better Performance and High Performance (saw no change) Checked what GPU is being used for the display and browsers (It is the onboard graphics: Intel UHD 630) Now, it takes roughly 20 seconds or so for the whole thing to settle down. But for those 20-odd seconds, the system feels pretty much unusable. Some video players (especially the Amazon Prime Video one), even fails to continue playing the video and starts showing the buffering animation. Is this a graphics issue or something else?
  18. Hey Guys, so just recently my RTX 2070 has started failing on me. Basically i could play any game on high settings without issues until yesterday. In some games like MHW and R6 the game just closes, in other titles like Forza Horizon 4 and BF5 the frames drop to 1 FPS and massive stutter. So i monitored my GPU via GPU Tweak II and Gpu-Z and MSI Afterburner. After Benchmarking i recocognized a similar pattern everytime: All games crashing/Framedroping started to crash when my GPU hit ~60 °C-not that much for a GPU under load IMO. So i checked the clockspeeds again and it seems like everytime the card hits 60 °C/games chrash the GPU clock falls down to 300 MHz and the Memoryclock drops to 810 MHz. -> this are the clocks on the GPU when it is in idling mode. So could there be something like a Safe Mode on the card which seems to be broken (~60°C should not trigger this mode.) I already reinstalled the Drivers and reseated the GPU. All Components run at stockspeeds. Should i contact my vendor for a replacement or should i wait for possible fixes with the next driver updates? I can still play as usual, as long as my temps are not hitting 60°C. 19. I have a issue with massive stutters. I've had this problem before, asked the community and turned out the RAM profile was set to default so running at 2200 MHZ instead of 3000 MHZ..... I changed it and went wel for a couple of months, and now i have the same issue. It repeats about every minute. And this happens with all tasks, typing this topic, gaming, browsing the web etc. I don't have a clue what this is causing, i have made three clips of the issue: https://imgur.com/a/NGVqFnA During gaming i notice that my fps drops from 240 average to 20 and sometimes (up-right corner in video's). Can someone help we with this problem? 20. Hey Guys and Gals, I have a new PC build here and I had gone through the specs I dont know how many times and I cant figure out why im getting a stutter in Warzone. I have played on console for years all has been good I have a solid internet connection wired getting 120 to 150 Mbps and yet im getting frame drops and random freezing mid game on warzone. (I know a lot of people do not have nice things to say for the game but I have to stay faithful to where I found my love for gaming years and years ago with COD and then its all my mates like to play so no choice really lol). The specs for the PC are below. Mobo: Gigabyte B450M CPU: Ryzen 5 3600x GPU: Palit 2080 Super Ram: Vengance 2x16GB DDR4 2666MHZ HDD; Barracuda 1TB 7200RPM M.2: Samsung 256GB - Game installed here PSU: Aerocool Integrator 600W And the case has plenty of Fans and ventilation with no temp spikes. I did try a sligh OC to see if this would improve it but it did not change anything so has been reset back to stock. Can anyone find anything in there that could be the issue. I think it might be the PSU but from everything I have ready there should be plenty of power in the 600W for the set up. Any info would be much appreciated.
  21. I need help with my laptop I have an Asus Zephyrous GU502GV laptop with an RTX 2060 graphics card 16GB ram and 1TB storage but I've been having issues, First Minecraft I cant run it like its supposed to the max frames I get is 15 to 30 fps and when I play games like World of Tanks(which is more demanding) its runs it above 70fps. Ive tried everything to fix my Minecraft but I don't know what else to do. Also isn't an RTX 2060 supposed to record or stream cleaner than most low end laptops, all i can stream and record are platforms and low end games but I want to stream games such as MW, Apex, Titanfall all the good games but I cant, my frames drop and my stream is all laggy. It somtimes even crashes.I have a friend who has a 1060GTX and it can run everything better than I can. Please I need help.
  22. So, I'll be playing just about any of my games and 90% of the time it's a smooth 60-100 frames depending what it is, and then suddenly I'll drop down to as low as 15 frames for around 5 seconds. My cables are fine, and nothing is close to overheating so I'm just really at a loss here.
  23. Hello, So this have been bothering me for a while now, my frame rate and sound lags when I launch a game or heavy graphic program. I'm running Win 10 on an Intel i7 8700K with 16 gb ram dual channel 3200mhz, 500Gb SSD with a Geforce 1080Ti. All my drivers are updated and I get this every-time. This issue usually starts when I launch WoW or when League of legends leaves the champion select and launch the game. I also played BF1 and it did it too when the game leave windows to load the actual game (graphic loading). This is quite frustrating given the price my parts had cost me and the review saying they are great! I have overclocked my CPU to 4.8Ghz and I sometime overclock the GPU too with MSI afterburner. Regardless of when it's overclocked or stock the problem is there, sound lags and mouse stutters for 1~2 secs when the game boots. I hope there is an easy fix! please help!
  24. Hello,I have this problem that occurs only in Overwatch. At random times, I get stutters and an extreme frame drop followed by a "stuttered" game audio while playing.I'd like to note that I'm running an unlocked Vbios for overclocking the GPU. However, the stutter occurs on both default GPU clock and while slightly over clocked. As a result, I think that the OC has nothing to do with this problem (correct me if i am wrong).I captured the stutter on video, as well as MSI afterburner data that may be useful, and uploaded it on Youtube:http://Any help would be greatly appreciated!System: MSI GE62 Apache pro LaptopCPU: Intel Core i7-6700HQGPU: GTX 970m 3GBWidows 10Latest GPU drivers (Game Video Settings set to LOWEST)
  25. So my PC can run games without a problem, but apparently, after a while, I experience an unusual frame-drop. When I restart the PC, it all goes back to normal, functioning perfectly.
