Issue: My PC used to run at 100 frames, now whenever I'm playing games my frames are sitting down at like 0-60 for no reason. Also sometimes I get random lag I never used to get, but I'll just say its my bad internet (at least for now I guess) Parts: Motherboard: MSI B360M BAZOOKA GPU: AMD Radeon RX 6600 CPU: Intel i7 8700 PSU: CoolerMaster MWE Gold 750v2 RAM: 2x 8GB DDR4 3000 (TeamGroup) Context: I used to be able to run all games fine on around 100 frames, then I got new (preowned) parts (the ones listed above), and for about 5 days I didn't factory reset my computer, and just played games. During this time, my PC ran better than ever before (as expected from new parts) and it ran some games (rocket league) up to 600 fps. But then after those 5 days, I decided it would be a good idea to factory reset my computer to get the most out of my new parts, and I hadn't reset for a while so it was a good time to anyway. Turns out that was a terrible idea . When I restarted my computer, I downloaded siege and whenever I tried to play a match, my ping would spike up to 1000 and I would get removed from the game. I tried to see if the same thing would happen on rocket league and the game wouldn't even let me get to the menu before it froze and my discord ping went to 5000, being sent to the loading screen because of connection issues. After a day, this all continued. So I decided I would get a fresh windows (10) install through a USB and when I reset, I formatted all my drives and did the fresh windows install. I did some speed tests with my computer on and off the internet, and the speed tests came through the same. Then I downloaded siege and went into a game, and my ping was fine apart from a few jitters of a thousand ping here and there. The only other issue that was presented was my FPS. My FPS was sitting between 60-100, but during that 5 day period of first having the parts, I was able to get the game to run at 300-400 FPS. I downloaded all my motherboard drivers, and graphics drivers, but my computer would not run anything above 100 FPS. Now around 4 days after the fresh install, I tried to play Destiny 2 and my frames were going between 10 and 30. I checked my graphics drivers, and realized they weren't up to date so I updated them, and nothing changed. So I checked AMD Adrenalin and it said my GPU was at 25%, VRAM was at 2000MB, RAM was at 7.5GB and CPU was at 52% (while in game). I then opened siege to check how that was going, especially with the updated drivers, and it seems to be chilling around 100 in a casual game (with a few instances of frames dropping really low for a split second). I did an in game benchmark and its showing an average of 130 FPS. So it seems the drivers have helped, but its still nothing in comparison to the 300 frames I was getting originally. I have had nothing else open on my PC, and have checked task manager to make sure. I have done virus/malware scans and nothing comes up. I have no idea what is causing my frames to drop so badly and need help. If any more info or clarification is needed feel free to ask. EDIT: Something I forgot to add is that also in the past few days everything has been super slow like discord takes forever to open sometimes, and google can be slow. I'm not sure if this would have any correlation to the FPS (/computer in general) issues, but it wasn't happening before all the computer resets.

So, I've searched all over the Internet about this, but I still can't find a concrete solution. My PC:GPU: NVIDIA GTX 1050 2GBCPU: Intel Core i5-2400 3.10GHZRAM: 12GB 1333MHZ DDR3Monitor: HP L1906 I already tried to turn on and off v-sync, change power plans, resolutions, refresh rates, reinstall drivers... nothing works.Almost all of my games never drop below 40, but they stutter even at those fps and feel like 15-25, and they only run smooth at 60 or more fps.I have no problems with GTA V, COD AW, Battlefield 4, RE 6, Tomb Raider (2013) because they never drop below 60 like I said, but at my new and most demanding games like Rise of the Tomb Raider, Nier Automata or Mass Effect Andromeda, fps usually are 40-50, which should be very good and playable, but not.I have experience on this, before I got my 1050 I used to play at 15-30 fps, and that's how I'm feeling right now. So what's the problem? can anyone help me? This situation is really frustrating...

Hey, I have a GTX 1060 6GB graphics card and a Ryzen 3 1200 @ 3.1ghz and my PC is dropping frames in games that used to run fine like CSGO and Fortnite but out of the blue my FPS was under 100 in these games and others, I was read that a ryzen 3 1200 wouldn't bottleneck a 1060, so if you know whats happening please help.

Hey there! I recently upgraded my system to the following : https://imgur.com/emrIh3b With a TX750 Power Supply (Corsair) Using a 144hz 27" 1440p monitor with G-sync. All components are fairly new, but still, I am getting worse fps than some of my friends using 1070's or regular 1080's Most people that use 1080ti's get around 150-170fps, while I am getting an mere average of ~80-90 fps (even at medium settings). There are no hitches or flickering, everthing feels pretty smooth, just the fps-counter that is anoying me... Nothing (component-wise) seems to be running at >70%. Temperatures are not exceeding 60C either. I'm pretty new to pc-gaming so I don't really know where to go from now... Just upgraded my MOBO BIOS, which fixed the RGB of my RAM (POGGERS). I've looked into the Nvidia config. screen and used the optimal perfomance settings. GeForce Experience is also Up-2-date. Am I missing something? Thanks in advance!! I got a new rig a few months back. I don't play a lot of super demanding games as of yet. but I play a lot of Vermintide 2, I get a average of 50-60 fps maxed out at 1080p resolution. my CPU is a i7 -6700 @3.40 GHz, both CPU and GPU usage sit at around 40-50% while at even the most demanding points in the game, when I looked it up a few sources said that the average 1060 user got 73 fps with very little jumps and drops in performance. I also have a friend with a 1080 at max settings who gets a average of 100 fps in the game. I figured my GPU and CPU being at 40-50% load was weird for 50-60 fps and was wondering if there was a fix or if I'm expecting too much. I also keep spotify open while playing. I have 16 GBs of ram.

This is my problem. Whenever i enter any games like (CS:GO, PUBG, Factorio, World of Tanks) The main menu lags. Like lets say i turn up PUBG the fps is very low while launching up the lobby it goes from 20-30 FPS back to the normal 60 FPS and stays there and i can enter the actuall game and it dosent lagg ath all just normal 5-6 FPS drops here and there. And The other problem is whenever i press Stuff like Replays Options Leaderboards or anything in games like that my Main Menu/Lobby FPS goes from a stable 60 FPS to 5-10 FPS it feels like a skiped frame or just really bad lag its duration is like from 1-2 to 5-10 Seconds. Later research i found out that sometimes when i launch up a game GPU usage drops to 0% and CPU and Disk usage spikes up to 100% and goes back to normal after 2-3 Seconds. Once More Gameplay in all of these games seems to be normal. I had a problem with FPS lag spikes while playing actuall games aswell ath random times 5 minutes in or 2-3 hours into the game the FPS would go from a consistant 120 Fps to 20-30 for 5-10 seconds and would go back to normal. The thing i did to fix this was turned on Max pre rendered frames to 4 in Nvidia setttings. And i turned off Scheduled Optimatization in HDD settings that somebody suggested and it fixed the problem. My PC was built a week ago. Fresh Windows 10 installed. Everything done by a Pro ath a local company. I asked a few questions about Air flow. Components not bottlenecking anything and he sayd everything is going to be fine. And The problem is now if i give it back for repairs/Diagnostics they gona charge it a lot + usually the just say buy this new bla bla . EDIT: Random Spikes in CPU/GPU and Disk Usage: Whenever launching up games Disk Usage spikes up to 100% and goes back. Disk Usage High Aswell with random Windows programs/background apps. I Found out and monitored sometimes whenever i press something in a game menu lets say in PUBG CPU would do a wierd 100% spike and the GPU usage would go to 0%. PC Specs : i5 8600k GTX 1060 16 GB DDR4 2400Mhz RAM 1 TB HDD WD blue [I know i should have a SSD aswell but no money atm] Aours z370 Ultra gaming Mobo 650 W PSU Idle and Game Temperatures seem to be normal while playing the game. Things i tryed allready and stuff that usually triggers events like these : 1.)Temperatures are normal for playing games. 2.) GPU,CPU, Disk Usage seem to be normal. 3.) Mobo. , GPU, Windows drivers are up to date 4.) Fresh Install didnt fix it. 5.) After Re-launching the game up again dosent fix it. 6.) Disk usage spikes up when launching up the game and goes back to normal. 7.) Checked HDD health everything was alright. 8.) Installing Old GPU Drivers the problem is still there. 9.) Backwards Installing old Windows 10 update problem is still there. 10.) Disabling Windows Antivirus defender problem is still happening in games 11.) Enabling V-Sync in games dosent fix it or Lowering the Settings to Low/medium. 12.) SuperFetch preFetch Disabled. 13.) Nothing Overclocked. Searching the net for the last week since i bought the PC and cant find anything. Not in the position to go out and just buy other components. (Was saving up for this PC for 6 Months) If anybody has any ideas what to do or sugestions what to try pls replay to the topic. tl;dr --> PC was bulit a few days ago > Everything Freshly installed > Re-Installed all drivers a few times> Main Menus Lag in games FPS goes from 60 to 10-20 fps and when i press stuff like settings leaderboards Lobby duration of it is 5-10 seconds > Temperatures Fine for gaming. CPU GPU Disk Usage Wierd. Picture 1) Disk Usage While Laucnhing a game Picture 2) While Leaving a game/exiting

So i recently got my gtx 970 and a CX 600 watt power supply 80 plus bronze. I am getting max 150 fps in csgo on lowest settings, if i go max it's between 60-110. It feels really low when i look at the numbers, my GPU is at 20-30% load and that load number does'nt move if i max out or choose the lowest settings possible at 1080p. The performance is equal too my latest graphics card before upgrading (r7 240) but that was running at 100% load at all times. Is there any fix for this? i've tried the latest drivers (368.81) and i'm currently using 362.00. Theres no improvement or performance loss if i change drivers. I can max out GTA V getting 30-80 FPS in large cities while not ever having over 50% load, the card itself refuses to go over that limit even if i have set the maximum power usage too the max which is 106. Paired with the gtx 970 i got an amd a10-7800, i get it it's an bottleneck if you now say so but the performance i have is equivelant too my r7 240 which i think is hella surprising. CPU load never goes above 50% either. Sorry for the wall of text, but i seriously need help!

Ok FPS problems are back again in CS:GO with the LAN PC... this is getting really annoying because its NOT thermal throttling which i guessed was the problem last time, which was probably wrong but hey now the card NEVER goes above 40C no matter what so now that i have installed a temperature monitor i can see that my CPU never goes above 60C when playing CS and the GPU never above 40C so there is no thermal throttling as far as i know. the problem just returned after having been gone for a looong time, well 4 or so games with both bots and people(seeing as i only play on it to make sure it works at the moment thats like 6 days lol) and it only crashing(admittedly worse) but now with the recent Gamma update to CS:GO the crashing seems to be gone and everything was working untill after 2 bot matches and around 8 rounds of full 10 on 10 casual on office it just decided to drop from 45-100 fps to 15-20 fps and now when i hopped in a casual match on Inferno it was fine whilst spectating the first round but the instant the second round started i was down at 10-20 fps from around 50-70 fps. im thinking VRAM or something right now but im not sure what to do about that or how to monitor that on Linux seeing as it was hard enough to find something that nicely monitored my GPU temperature. i am running medium settings with shaders at lowest and no FXAA and that + the extra cooling from the fan i strapped to it seemed to fix problems the last time but now i have been gone for a week and havent been able to tinker with it and i updated the game and it was great until it dropped the FPS like that. i really have no idea what the problem is this time so if anyone has ANY idea or potential fix i will try it becasue this is honestly becoming a really annoying problem to try to fix every other time i start the game... anyway here are the specs of the PC and a link to the build log and update thred for it: CPU: Intel Core 2 Quad Q6600 GPU: NVIDIA Geforce 8800GT(custom passive cooler(now with 140mm fan)) RAM: 2x2GB Corsair DDR2 800MHz Motherboard: ASUS P5N-E SLI PSU: Dell 300W Case: Cardboard box HDD: WD2500YS 250GB 7200rpm OS: Linux Mint Cinnamon 17.3 Thanks for any replies and any help here, i really have no idea what it is

I've recently built a new PC,(I'll post specs below) about a month or two ago and in the past week I've been having fps problems running relatively low-demanding games(csgo, street fighter, etc.) at only 1080 resolution. I've yet to overclock the CPU/GPU and have only changed minor settings. I was easily running csgo at 300 fps and now only getting 100 at max(again at 1080 resolution). While playing, the temps for both the CPU/GPU are stable and not hitting crazy numbers. I'm currently at a lose as to how to fix this. If anyone could help, I'd greatly appreciate it. PC Specs: MSI X99s Gaming 7 Intel i7-5820K 3.3 GHz MSI Geforce GTX 970 16 GB (4 x 4GB) Corsair Vengence DDR4
