Hi guys, a few days ago, I upgraded my Samsung 840 Evo firmware and immediately my PC suffered a huge FPS loss in that for example Valheim was pausing every few seconds. Then I reinstalled Windows. However, after the clean install I am having FPS issues all the time. For example, when I start playing World of Warplanes, I start off with 80 - 90 FPS, but it gradually goes down to 20 FPS, making it unplayable. For some reason, my PC seems slower overall. Since then, I reset my BIOS, just in case I messed up some settings and I only turned on XMP II. I also used DDU to reinstall my Nvidia drivers. I don't have state of the art PC as it is 3 years old now, but on the other hand I never had any issues running anything, even when I played in full screen borderless with several Edge tabs open. I turned off win 10 gaming mode and hardware-accelerated GPU scheduling, as I heard they do not help. I also have no heating issues whatsoever. My system has an Asus ROG Maxmimus XI Hero, Intel Core i7 6700k and 16 GB of DDR4 1600MHz RAM and a GTX 1070 with 8GB. I would really appreciate your help. Here's my issue: I play csgo on a 144hz monitor, it's connected to my gpu (RTX 2070) with a display cable. I get around 200-350 fps. I tried connecting a 24 inch tv with hdmi to my computer to use as second monitor while streaming. And for some reason when I have the tv connected, my fps in game seems low. When when I say that it "seems low" it's because it still says I have the same fps i always do, but it looks like 40 fps. please help.

I only remember it's microcenter brand, bronze rating, and between 550-650 WOld build I had 0 issues in Apex Legends. Now, as I mentioned, run into stutters and freezes pretty frequently. It happens in Sekiro and Borderlands 2 as well.I have tried different NVidia drivers (all after using DDU), changing graphic settings in game, shutting off overlays, running ISLC, ensuring all drivers are up to date (including misc drivers).

Here is my system. nVidia Geforce RTX 2080ti (No overclock) (Latest Driver) AMD Ryzen 2700x @ 4.0ghz (No overclock) 16GB of DDR4 RAM @ 2133mhz (2 Sticks of 8 running in dual channel) (No overclock) 900w Power Supply- Windows 10 Home Edition (Latest Update) ___________________________________________________________________________________ So, as the title says I am getting frames that I would not expect with this kind of system at such a low resolution and with everything set to high within the options menu. I am getting around 60 - 70fps most of the time with dips to the mid 40's and low 50's when in any town, Including Valentine. I have seen plenty of benchmarks showing much higher frames with a very similar, if not same system at 1440p. I have also seen plenty of people showing the fact that this kind of system should never drop below 60fps especially @ 1080p high. Various benchmarks the game running at Ultra settings @ 1080p and never dropping below 60fps, Getting very close but not actually going under. I can't even achieve a constant 60FPS with everything set to high, I couldn't even do it with everything set to medium. It also only stayed at around 70 fps with dips to 60 in towns with everything but textures at low. This occurs on both Graphics API's and in story mode and online, Story however does have higher framerates but goes down to the same as online as soon as I enter a town. However, I assure you that there is NO difference at all even when its clear and daytime. I made the benchmarks in the same place for the sake on consistency. I don't know what to do, This is not the only game that has issues either. Every game seems to underperform. Fallout 4 only runs at 60fps @ Ultra with dips to the low 40's. Fallout 76 stays at 50fps @ Ultra with dips to the 30's. Fortnite at its lowest settings refuses to go anywhere past 100 - 110fps with it often dipping to 80fps. Witcher 3 Has trouble staying at 60fps with Ultra settings, It manages, but gets very close to dipping under. BFV runs like total garbage with drops to 50fps with DX12 on or off at High settings. Anthem sits at around 45 FPS with drops to 30 when things start happening. Destiny 2 sits at 60fps average with drops to 40 when things start happening on screen. All of these games are playing at 1080p! It shouldn't be like this at all. You see the trend here, everything I play doesn't perform anywhere close to where it should and i'm at a total loss.I have tried everything, literally. Hers a quick list of what ive tried, multiple times; - Doing a complete reset and clean install of my graphic drivers using DDU, (Tried ALL hundreds of times it feels like). - Completely reset windows, both through windows itself and using the media creation tool - Deleting all partions too. - Re seated all of my components and tried putting the GPU and RAM in different slots, which had no effect. - Messed with bios settings - Used the optimiser built into the bios aswell. I have tried literally everything I can think of. I need some help, Please. I spent WAY too much on the PC for it to perform like this. Any suggestions would be great.

I was playing gmod when I installed an addon; Mercedes F1 W05 Hybrid (simfphys), when I loaded up a new map (In Singleplayer), my game would not run any higher than 15 fps, it usually runs at 60 and sometimes even higher. I unsubscribed from the addon, however the issue remains, please help. I also have roughly 1500-2000 addons but these never have created any issues until this one addon My Specs: - Windows 10 Pro 64-bit - Intel Core i5-3470 @ 3.20 GHz - Intel integrated graphics (about to upgrade to GTX 770 2gb) - 8gb dual channel ddr3 memory @ 798MHz (specs down below isn't my system)

Ok so about 2 days ago i started playing games GTA V and Fallout 4 in my pc i5 4690k, r9 390, 8gb gskill ram. However, I have started to notice an fps drop in both games. I opened MSI after burner after about two hours worth of gaming(not all at once) and fond out my temps were at 93 Celcius!!!!! Did i burn my graphics card? This happened ever since I got the crimson drivers. Is there a solutiuon? please help I just built my rig with brand new parts about two months ago.

Hello to everyone at the Linus Tech Tips forums, this is my first time posting here but I have been watching the Linus videos on YouTube for a while now and this is a community that I trust. In a nutshell, this computer isn't getting the FPS that I think it should be, primarily on Battlefild 4. It was also getting low FPS in League Of Legends (around 30-40 FPS) but that seems to have been rectafied with a BIOS (UEFI) update. The low and inconsistant FPS in Battlefield remains although it seems to have gotten marginally better, but that could just be placebo. League of Legends seems to loading a bit slower than it should be as well, although Battlefield seems to be loading as it should. So far I have updated to the latest VGA drivers (14.12) - http://tinyurl.com/lkxd52r and the latest chipset drivers (They seemed to be a lot newer on the AMD website than compared to the ones on the manufacturer's website.) - http://tinyurl.com/lwaooto I have also updated the BIOS to the latest version from the ASRock website (Version 2.70) - http://tinyurl.com/ky4vds5 Another thing that I have done is to ensure that the GPU isn't thermal throttling. The case is large enough with adequate enough airflow for this configuration. I haven't tried formatting the machine yet. Here's the deal; I just got my new gaming PC and below are the specs. I've managed to get Skyrim on but nothing else due to slow download speed. I tried playing it and max out at 60 FPS but get an average of 30 FPS going even down to 18 FPS during any intense action. I've gone with vanilla, modded, checked my Graphics cards settings, nothings working. Playing on the lowest settings gives me an average of 51 FPS. please help.
