Hey all! I recently upgraded my build from a 1050ti to a RX 590 Fatboy. Everything has been running smoothly, such as Overwatch, Apex, Hell Divers, and Smite. However, when I boot into Fortnite I am getting around 7 FPS. I have tried to reinstall it, update my drivers, and I am just lost what to do next. Any advice would help!

Hi, Recently bought a new gpu due to the last one breaking; set it up today and attempting to play fortnite, only to find out that on boot application is throttled to 6-8 frames and 200ms input delay. this problem is caused by the application only seeming to use 2% cpu 0% gpu when BEservice.exe is open (BattlEye cheat software), but when closed fortnite returns to its usual CPU/GPU usage in menu. is there anything that i can try before i reinstall the game? drivers are up to date, occurs in performance mode also. pics attached show fps in red text above task manager.

So i switched from a r5 5600x & 1660ti with 32 gb ram (4x8) to a r5 5600x & 4080 with same ram a while ago (late 2022-early 2023), and now just a month ago i switch my cpu to a r7 5800x3d and my ram to 32 gb ram (2x16) since my friend told me amd cpu's doesn't like 4 sticks and rather have 2 sticks of ram. It runs really good on every game. Except fortnite. I've recently come back to playing fortnite and i cap my fps with my 240hz 2k monitor but when i play in game on performance mode i get 240fps highs but i constantly get stutters and fps drops down to 20 in game. Settings in performance mode doesn't seem to do anything and when i switch to dx12 i get TONS of stuttering, i'm talking 3x as much and on dx11 i get much stuttering aswell. Does anyone have any tips on what it can be? I'm tired of it stuttering and limiting my in-game performance but i can't find a solution on my own. I did a remove and install on the nvidia drivers when i got it. I did not reset windows but it feels like a reach no? Specs: 4080 zotac r7 5800x3d 32 gb ram (2x16 @ 3600mhz), old ram was 32 gb (4x8 @ 3200mhz) samsung evo 980 ssd corsair 850 watt psu Would appreciate any kind of information that could solve my problem. I'm not really good with bios and that kind of stuff so i'd rather stay away from that myself but if i have to do anything please give me a step-by-step guide since i don't want to send it away and wait so long for it to potentionally not get fixed and just waste time.

Hey there, I am planning on upgrading my rig as I have a I5 9600k & an rx 6600XT. I am planning on upgrading my cpu, mobo, and ram and im trying to figure out whever to buy the Ryzen 5 7600X or spend the extra money on the ryzen 7 7800X3D. I would like to run microsoft flight simulator & fortnite on Ultra settings, 1080p above 60 fps just fine. I dont have a crazy budget so if I buy the ryzen 5 7600X i will probably have money to upgrade my gpu sooner than later if needed. I would like to know how my fps would be at 1080p with the rx 6600XT paired with the ryzen 5 and ryzen 7. Thanks!

I have an astro c40 which I use regularly to play fortnite. I play on a laptop hooked up to a 240hz monitor. When moving my right stick it feels slow and sluggish. My grip is affected and I can barely hold the controller properly. I also have to giggle my stick with excessive force just to make quick movements in-game. An example is editing a build piece quickly. It makes my editing and aim inconsistent. At times, I leave my game for a while, then I come back, it feels a lot more responsive for a couple of minutes (less than 5 minutes) then returns. My Specs Laptop Name : Asus ROG Zephyrus M15 GU502LW-BI7N6 CPU: Intel Core i7-10750H (Comet Lake-H) GPU : Nvidia GeForce RTX 2070 Max Q RAM : 16GB DDR4 Motherboard/Laptop Model: Zephyrus GU502LW-BI7N6 Storage: 1TB SSD Refresh rate: 240hz Operating System: Windows 10 (Ghost Spectre Superlite) External Monitor : Acer Nitro XV1 Series-XV271 (240hz monitor) Controller : Astro C40 Tournament Ready Pro Controller Reinstalled Windows (both base Windows and Ghost Spectre) Reinstalled Graphics drivers (Used DDU for uninstalling) Changed in -game sensitivity and deadzone. As well as adjusting the stick curve through the astro configuration application. used the appropriate Nvidia control panel settings Switched to LAN Used Bitsum Highest Performance Power Plan for less latency Done all performance and gaming related 'tweaks' (registry tweaks, Using process lasso, etc)

Ive gotten back into fortnite and have been experiencing multiple crashes / freezes within a 2 hour time period. this very rarely happens in any other games i play, maybe crashing once over a 60 hour play time. Fortnite on the other freezes nearly every match for at least 10 seconds and upwards of a minute in some cases and the rest of my computer is perfectly responsive. Happens at the start of a round super consistently, including rocket racing. I have reinstalled fortnite twice and reinstalled gpu drivers 3 times

Summary Fortnite map code has always been well known to have 16 digits. At TGA, most of the map code started with 0853. And unfortunately some people in Indonesia that took notice of this during TGA decided to check whether this is real number phone due to its similarities to Indonesian provider Telkomsel's first 4 digit number of phone number from that ISP, which is 0853, and it doesn't help that most Indonesian phone number has 16 digit numbers as well (so the format is 0853-XXXX-XXXX). One of notorious example was Tajudin, a construction contractor, gets spamcalled because one of the TGA Fortnite code that were shared on the screen, which someone else getcontact'd and apparently it's a real person. The person has since released a statement about the spamcall situation (in Indonesian, of course), and in an interview with local news outlet, he admitted that the spamcall came every minute and it's still happening to this very second. He didn't know about Fortnite or TGA at all, he basically can't really change his phone number because the number is well known to many of his business colleagues, and were concerned of misuse or threats coming from the incident. Quotes My thoughts This is very much confusing situation IMO. Like, no one expected these codes to be similar to a phone number from another country. At the same time, after this they probably should revamp the code format? Although I don't see it as an option that would make sense especially for something that is very much unexpected like this doxxing incident that isn't even really a doxxing but at the same time someone went a bit far and like 'oh I know this four digit number, it's Telkomsel number, lets call them and spread it on internet if it's a real number' but then you realized it's also a publicly shared code, but it felt like a privacy concern so they probably should revamp the format, it's very confusing damn I probably just gonna stop here. Also uh who's going to tell him that no, their number is not misused by Epic, it's just a coincidence that it's matched with Tajudin's number. Then again most people in Indonesia are tech illiterate anyway *sigh* Sources https://jagatplay.com/2023/12/news/mandor-bangunan-di-bekasi-jadi-korban-kode-fortnite-di-tga-2023/ https://kumparan.com/kumparansport/nomor-hp-mandor-bangunan-bekasi-viral-di-game-awards-ditelepon-tiap-menit-21k2KpI4rA4/full https://twitter.com/Tajudin167/status/1733107704162656715

I recently upgraded my pc to AM5 and got a new PSU. After some driver issues i reinstalled windows and all the drivers and then it seemed to work for almost a month. However I didn´t really push it to the limit. only played pretty light games... Today i downloaded Fortnite and imediately got a warning about my drivers not beeing up to date. I wanted to check in AMD Adrenaline but although it was installed i couldnt open it. So i reinstalles adrenalin and Updated the Drivers. In Order to get my Logitec webcam to work i had to disable Kernel isolation. Then after aprox. 10 minutes of gaming i got a black screen and my PC Powered Off. That happened 3-4 times. i Thought it might be the logitec driver so i removed it, reenabeled Kernel isolation and used the webcam with the standard windos driver. Game still crashed... I thought it might be the game so i reinstalled the Game and it worked for 2 hours. But then i got a blackscreen again... I checked wether my cpu overheated but it didnt... i ran a benchmark but that worked fine... How can i find out what causes that blacckscreen? I think it might be that the PSU doesnt have enough power (it has 600W Output).... System: Ryzen 5 7600 (not x) Radeon rx 7600 xt Sharkoon 600W non modular PSU Motherboard: PRO A620M-E / MS-7e28 running bios version 3.5 SanDisk SDSSDH3 1T00 running windows 11 Pro 10.0.22631 Build 22631 thank you in advance! Joshua edit: I also tend to get havy lag and freezes for 1 or 2 seconds before the blackscreen i never had lag in fortnite and my pc should be better now... and it runs fine for the most part....

Iv got a problem where i could play fortnite on my phone fairly ok. I could play for 2-3 hours before dropping from a solid 40fps (which im fine with) to 30 ±3fps. But then a few days back i just started playing and was stumped by my immediate 25fps in the first game and no more than 7 the next. Iv been trying everything i could find but with no luck. Is there anything i could possibly try or am i abandoning fortnite? I am using a Samsung galaxy a33 5g with a xbox series x controller conected to it via Bluetooth.

Heyy A few months ago, I used to play Fortnite on my laptop with medium to high settings using DirectX 12, consistently achieving around 100 FPS. However, a couple of months ago, I started experiencing frequent crashes. Initially, downloading all the skin textures helped, but the problem resurfaced after a week or two. The only solution was reducing my rendering mode to "Performance - Low Graphical Fidelity," which now gives me around 200 FPS. Recently, I attempted to play with higher graphic settings again, but even in the menu on DirectX 11 (still a older api than 12), I now get only 45 FPS even in just the menu. It seems like my laptop has out of nowhere downgraded itself and I want help fixing If anyone has insights or suggestions on how I can identify and rectify the problem, please share. If additional information is needed, please let me know, and I'll do my best to give it Thank you for your help! Specs of Laptop

So, I'm having an issue on fortnite, Every time I load in to the map the game lags pretty hard, after 3 matches everything loads fine and there's little lags (dropping from the bus still lags because it loads the map every time). The thing is I tried minimum settings but the game still has the same issues. My Spec's: Also the game is installed on Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM008, I have an Sandisk SSD Plus 2tb but not sure about it having SLC cache. I saw the Western digital site about it explaining it having SLC cache but also saw posts on reddit that it might not be good or SLC cache is the primary method adopted in speeding up read/write of TLC SSD. The name "SLC cache" implies that it is not true SLC NAND Flash. I did test it on CrystalDiskMark but I don't know if it's good because it's not SLC NAND Flash and SLC is just speeding up TLC SSD. Seagate Barracuda ST2000DM008 2TB: SanDisk SSD Plus 2TB: I know the SSD is faster, but can I trust it with the SLC cache although its not SLC NAND Flash vs The Seagate Barracuda Hard Drive?

Hey everyone, I'm encountering some frustrating performance problems while playing Fortnite on my PC, and I'm hoping to get some expert advice on how to resolve them. My PC specs are as follows (please refer to the attached screenshots for details): CPU: [IN THE SCREENSHOT] GPU: [IN THE SCREENSHOTl] RAM: [SS] Storage: [SS] OS: [Windows 10 Pro] The issue I'm facing is persistent freezing and lagging during gameplay. I've tried optimizing the game using Nvidia GeForce Experience and have also run Hone for optimization, but the problems still persist. I'd like to emphasize that I'm not looking to upgrade or change my PC components at this point. I'm hoping to find a solution that can improve the performance without such drastic measures. If anyone has experienced similar issues or has any suggestions on settings adjustments, driver updates, or other software tweaks that might help alleviate these problems, I would greatly appreciate your insights and recommendations. Thanks in advance for your assistance!

Epic games is fine with modding Fortnite as long as it dosen't touch their server and since Fortnite is Unreal, Private Servers do exist here is one of the best ones that lets you play every current version of the game offline https://github.com/Lawin0129/LawinServer.

Hi, Again I've ran into a problem. Recently I installed Windows 11 on my ssd back in Easter and I re-installed fortnite from my hdd to my ssd. I'm now as I load into the game getting really strange things happening. As I boot fortnite my gpu immediately hits 100% util. But my cpu only at 2%-10% aswell as this my gpu vram clocks are at a solid 1000MHz. I've been running this on performance mode and vsync on with 60 fps at 1080p settings. As I try loading into a battle royale game cpu hits 90% and the temp is very dangerous around 77 degrees and the memory hits 96% and I don't even get past it the game just buzzes and I can't load into a game... Please help, Many thanks, Fire! 20230509_211838.mp4

Ok guys I have a question. I know Fortnite is an extremely optimized game and Fortnite mobile is more optimized. So if I run Fortnite mobile on an Android emulator on an Intel Celeron with 8gb RAM, will it run properly?
