I have an rtx 3080, and a i912900k. 10 fans, and aio cooler, 32 gigs of ram, yet no matter what I do I am getting extreme stuttering on fortnite. Almost unplayable. This happened on preformance mode, dx11, dx12, high settings, low settings, it doesn’t matter. I’ve looked everywhere on YouTube and tried many things. Yet still no luck, my game stutters terribly and I don’t know what else to do. Every other game runs perfectly fine, it is just Fortnite. Any help would be appreciated, thanks.

This seemed to happen on most games but I notice it a lot on fortnite and it only happens when I set my fps to the same as my monitors refresh rate which is 240 so if I put my fps any lower or higher in game it won’t do it only when I’m on 240 fps in game settings. I’m not sure why this is happening and was looking for any fix beacuse I want to just set my fps to 240 IMG_4005.MOV

Hey there, I am planning on upgrading my rig as I have a I5 9600k & an rx 6600XT. I am planning on upgrading my cpu, mobo, and ram and im trying to figure out whever to buy the Ryzen 5 7600X or spend the extra money on the ryzen 7 7800X3D. I would like to run microsoft flight simulator & fortnite on Ultra settings, 1080p above 60 fps just fine. I dont have a crazy budget so if I buy the ryzen 5 7600X i will probably have money to upgrade my gpu sooner than later if needed. I would like to know how my fps would be at 1080p with the rx 6600XT paired with the ryzen 5 and ryzen 7. Thanks!

Hi, thanks in advanced. From some reason the Fortnite game stopped working. It worked many times before, but it stopped. I did nothing special, maybe it occurred around the time I moved the games from C drive to D drive. It launches but I only see a black screen. I can even hear sound but no picture (a skip bottom on the right bottom corner that leads to nowhere). Therefore, I think it is a GPU issue. I googled endlessly but none of the steps below helped. * I modified the GameUserSettings.ini from the local app data * I deleted the GameUserSettings.ini and let the game recreate it * I updated the firewall * I did a clean installation of the latest NVIDIA driver * I updated all windows update * I checked directX is okay * I uninstalled and reinstalled the game * The anti cheat is installed again (I never mess with it) * I tried computability mode but I'm not sure I did it right. * I tried to launch from Epic and from GeForce exp. * I tried full window, window, 100% scale, 125% scale (I saw this on the internet!). * I tried to reduce the settings in different ways but nothing helped. Any other game works - Subnautica, Rouge, Hogwarts Legacy, Sims4. I even run a GPU benchmark successfully. Even Fortnite itself works on my other weak laptop, just stopped working on my PC. other GPU games work fine. From task manager: * GPU 3D utilization = 1% * Dedicated GPU memory usage = 3.9GB * Shared GPU memory usage = 0.3GB I have RTX 3060 TI founders edition with AMD Ryzen 5 3600X, 16GB ram and windows 10 22H2. help please

So I have always had problems with Fortnite in specific with my setup. Even on just high settings it cant sustain 60fps for long even when OCed +100 on core and memory. Heres a video if it helps pinpoint a problem. Idk what this could be but Id love any advice I can get. I have drivers up to date and the game has never ran super great on my system period no matter how much I optimize or verify or reinstall it. The OC did nothing and gave almost no performance boost over base clocks. I also have no backround tasks running at all except Geforce experience. This was recorded in experience and it doesn't do anything (maybe -4 fps or whatever) to effect the fps or so ive heard. 2056556688_MyVideo9.mp4

Hey everyone! My rig is struggling a little to maintain 240fps on fortnite which is confusing me a little bit. I have a ryzen 7 1700x, 32gb of ddr4 ram at 2400mghz and an rtx 2080 with the game installed on an m.2 drive. Is it likely the cpu causing the fps fluctuations? Or is it something else?

Rubbish FPS in Fortnite but great in everything else...
technophle posted a topic in Troubleshooting
Hi all, I have a weird issue where I get low FPS in Fortnite but great performance in other games and in benchmarks. I am running an I9-9900K and ROG Strix 2080Ti with all NVMe storage. Port Royal comes in at 9550, Rocket League runs 200-250FPS, other games also fine, but Fortnite (no Ray Tracing, DX11, Epic settings) used to run at 150-180FPS but now runs at 60-70. No extra programmes running in the background as far ass I can tell. Anyone else have this issue? suggestions how to fix? Thanks in advance for your help.- 2 replies

Hello, I got my my acer nitro 5 laptop last year for Christmas and everything was completely fine for the longest time until about 2 months ago and for no reason, my frames for Fortnite went from 144fps+ to about no higher that 90fps. I am not a very educated person when it comes to this kind of stuff so i did everything I could think of to fix it, like updating my driver and blasting my fans to try and cool my laptop down and adjusting my frame usage in-game. But at this point i am completly stumped, Please help if u can im really struggling and its really annoying me how im getting 70fps on a $1000 Laptop and my old xbox gives me 60fps

I've been getting an error in Fortnite which says that driver enforcement is disabled, so I enabled it but it still didn't fix it, so I uninstalled the game, then I reinstalled it and it only worked for one day, after that it started showing the same error, so I reinstalled it on another drive, and it worked for one day, and then it's showing me the same error again, some assistance with this matter would be much appreciated. System specs Amd 3600 Rx 5600xt 32gb 3600mhz Windows 10 Samsung 960 pro 500gb nvme Hello, I am new to posting on forums in general and have most of the time fixed problems by diagnosis and research, but I am stumped. I have recently started editing video of my gameplay. I tried to get hardware encoding to work with no luck. (It seems to me now that my gpu does not support hardware encoding.) But as an effort to see if I could get encoding to work I installed the Amd pro drivers as a last effort. I also tried the drivers out of curiosity for gaming. Fyi, they are not good for gaming. The problem: Since the pro drivers were not a help, I went ahead and uninstalled them. I then reinstalled the previous working drivers for gaming and just used the cpu to render my gameplay and went to sleep. Now my frames drop drastically. I was getting 165 fps and dipping to around 144 - 130fps about 20 percent of the time in Fortnite. Now, it is dropping to as low as 55 fps when i move around, fight others, or when anything loads in. I am not sure if the pro drivers messed up the card, or I did something wrong. What I have tried after the problem started: A fresh reinstall of windows 10 then reinstalling the original graphics drivers and Reseating the gpu. Reflashing the gpu bios to maby reset it. After reflashing the gpu bios, the problem is the same. Which means I did not make it worse hopefully. My thermals are in the low 60s for both the cpu and gpu. About 65 max for the cpu, and 60 max for the gpu before the problem and after the problem. I just recently dusted my pc two days ago. I thank everyone in advance for any help to solve my problem. Edit: I reflashed the bios on the gpu and the performance is back to where it was. I must have flashed it incorrectly before. It seems that me that pro drivers mess with the gpu bios some how.

Fortnite Ping Issues (High Ping one match, low ping the next) Hi, I play Fortnite on a PC and I am trying to fix high ping in matches. I recently upgraded my internet to 200mbps and it is much better but some issues aren’t fixed. The issue is that when I queue into a match I may have 30-35 ping one match and next match I may queue and join a match with a constant 55-65 ping. From what I have heard, there are 2 servers for NAE (I play on NA East servers). One server in Ohio, and the other in Virginia. I currently live in New York State so I am thinking that one game I am queuing on Ohio servers and the next I may queue on Virginia servers. I assume that when I queue into the Ohio servers that’s when I have the 55-65 ping because Ohio is farther from New York and when I queue into Virginia Servers that’s when I have 30-35 ping, as Virginia is closer. I am trying to make sure that I queue into Virginia Servers every or most games and I heard that this is possible with a gaming router but, I was wondering if this was possible with software or something else. So basically I would need to know if there is software or something that is free or can be purchased cheaper than a gaming router. And for my understanding it would almost direct the network traffic to Virginia servers while playing Fortnite. That is just a guess. So if anyone can help me that would be greatly appreciated because it’s hard playing 30 ping one match and then twice the ping the next match. P.S or if there is a way besides this to make my ping more consistent in different matches. I don’t get how streamers and also just casual players play consistent ping in every match. Do they only queue using the same server? Again, any help is greatly appreciated as I really have no idea what to do nor do I have no idea if what I am saying makes sense. Additional Details: I play over an Ethernet Cord I have up to date network drivers If any other details are needed just tell me

Recently I started to develop an interest in PC Gaming and I want to build my own 'budget' gaming PC so I can play games such as Fortnite, CSGO, Battlefield...etc. Currently I play on an IMac and it has awful gaming performance. So, as my first PC build I want to be able to play at a much higher FPS. Anyways here are the parts I have decided, i just need assistance on picking out the rest Parts I Have Picked So Far: CPU - Ryzen 5 2600 With Wraith Stealth Cooler GPU - RX 580 8gb RAM(memory) - 16GB (i need help choosing specific ram sticks) Those are the few parts I have picked so far. I need help choosing the right (2x8gb) RAM STICKS, Motherboard, Hard Drive, SSD, Power Supply, case, fans, and internal wifi card My goal is to be able to play Fortnite on low settings and 100% 3D resolution at 144 FPS so i can play on a 144hz monitor. Also, I need a internal wifi card to install on my MotherBoard because i will not have ethernet availability for a while. My budget is around $650-$750, it could go a few dollars above. For a case i dont need anything too special, I want something that has a easy to remove side panel (it could be tempered glass) for a decent price >$70. Anyways, thats what i want in my PC build and I would extremely appreciate any/all help from other. Thanks for reading and I hope someone will help me out.

Hey guys! So I've never dabbled in the world of fortnite before, so I decided yesterday to give it a shot. Before I knew it, I had fortnite installed on my pc and was about to launch. I clicked to run it and it loaded for like 10 seconds and went black, then my pc restarted. This happens every time I attempt to run fortnite! Any advice?

When I play fortnite on 120/144 fps nothing is rendering for me, when i land I have to wait like a minute for stuff to render. The game lags out so much as well. Also the sound is bugged and keeps stuttering. I have a 144hz monitor with the below settings. Fortnite settings are all on low. If I put the game on 60fps its good so I am not sure what the issue is. I have two cores and 8gb of ram and this is my motherboard Z270P-D3-CF. I also play COD on 144 and that is also a bit laggy but everything else in the game is fine. Any ideas please?

I was hoping i could find some help deciding on what computer to buy. I am looking for a rig that will only be used for gaming, and could also support streaming as well. I have a budget of around $600 so these are the options i have come across so far. Please also tell me if there are specific things i have to look for that these computers dont have. Based on the research i have done, i think these computers have a little bit of everything, but again, i really need a second opinion the help is much appreciated!!! https://www.ebay.com/itm/CUSTOM-INTEL-6th-Gen-i7-6700k-4-0GHz-BAREBONE-GAMING-DESKTOP-COMPUTER-SYSTEM-NEW/391948501809?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Gaming-PC-Desktop-Intel-Core-i7-GTX-1060-12GB-RAM-Fornite-80-FPS-Warranty/253398338791?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Dell-Intel-Core-i7-Gaming-Desktop-PC-Fortnite-80-FPS-NVIDIA-GTX-1060-WARRANTY/263467882514?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649 https://www.ebay.com/itm/Custom-Built-AMD-Ryzen-8GB-DDR4-Gaming-Desktop-PC-AFFORDABLE-FORTNITE-GAMING-PC/232872541026?ssPageName=STRK%3AMEBIDX%3AIT&_trksid=p2060353.m1438.l2649

All items in the locker, except the shovel, cuz u can select the default one. I am simply unable to unequip backblings, go no skin, etc. Same issue with my friend. We should double click the large X to unequip right? well its not working and I just stay on the screen without changes in effect, if I hit ESC it just cancel. I am only able to switch between inventory items. This started the moment season 5 update came.
