Hello. I've been trying to edit the 'Unsyncedlyrics' and 'Lyrics' tag for FLAC files in 'mp3tag' for Windows and 'Star Music Tag Editor' for Android unsuccessfully. I don't know if there's something special about FLAC tagging that i'm not aware, i don't have any problem editing those same tags on mp3 files. I haven't tried foobar2000 or other tag editor because i already have trouble editing the tags on two unrelated programs on different platforms. I usually can type the lyrics in the tag but it either won't save at all, would show up as saved but it won't actually save the lyrics or sometimes it actually saves successfully. It's very hit or miss, so i don't know what i can do, i've tried searching in other forums, on reddit, searching in the depths of google to no avail.

Been using Foobar2000 on my PC for a while now and recently decided to get the app. With the PC version I remember just downloading an additional file for foobar to allow .dsf file playback, but am unsure of how to do so on mobile. Is it possible?

I'm digging a deeper and deeper hole for myself with this f-ing HiFi hobby. It's a tinkerer's fever dream. Now, I'm looking at how I store my music and podcasts. Until now, I thought I was satisfied with using iTunes as my audio ripping, storing, and playing platform. Then, I switched over to VLC for all my AV needs... that was good. Then I discovered Foobar2000 and EAC. Dammit. So, first (of many) questions: My CD collection from the 90s was ripped to AAC or ALAC (and even some MP3s snuck in there to boot). I'm taking out CDs from my public library, and making PERSONAL copies for myself. a. I can rip audio CDs using either Foobar2000, iTunes, or EAC. Is there a significant difference between Foobar & EAC? I find Foobar2000 easier to use. EAC has all kinds of mysterious settings (that I don't understand). b. I dug into VLC, and it appears that it can also rip CDs. True/false/sort-of? c....TBA. Sources: A 2010 article from How To Geek. A 2015 article about ripping audio CDs. A 2016 article that attempts to differentiate the audio codecs available.

So........ I have been trying to find a way to play my computers audio through foobar2000 but so far no luck I really want to get this done because I want my computers audio to come out with my BEAUTIFUL eq when I listen to music on youtube and what not. anyone have a solution? THANKS

So yeah, I super new to linux, like 3 days really, and I have a big local music collection. Is there a program like foobar2000 for linux? Also I quite new to the the ltt forum community and any forum community for that matter, so I'm sorry if I break some rule.

What is your preferred PC music player and why? I'm just wondering if I'm missing something really great out there... came from iTunes (hated it), messed around with Monkey, Music Bee and friends, and settled on AIMP3 for quite awhile until I noticed the sound quality wasn't as good in a side by side comparison with Foobar2000, which is now my favorite by far. Super flexible, can rip, transcode, edit ID3, and has a pleasantly customizable UI with a bunch of plug ins available as well. i need help foobar is staying on the front of my desk top and i cant get any other windows to go in front of it.

So I just got into using Foobar to listen to my music collection and while i was installing all of my music files i noticed that they where all in the wrong genres. I've tried all that i can think to do is there anyway to fix this? If there is I would love to know how to fix this!

Foobar is the favorite music player of many people on this forum, including myself, and I'm hoping it gets the support it needs to make a mobile version. If they can hit the stretch goals, there will also be social and cloud features.

I've been looking for an alternative to iTunes for a long time that can also manage iPods, and this looks like the ticket. It gives you even more and better control of your iPod than iTunes ever did!

Hey guys, I use Foobar2000 on a regular basis and recently it won't minimize and go off-screen unless I use the button on the top right of the program. As you can imagine this gets annoying, does anyone know how to fix without having to reinstall foobar? Or a way to save your Foobar settings and re-install? Thanks in advance

One of the best parts about Foobar is the endless customization options of the UI. I'm always tinkering around with mine, and I think I've achieved a fairly unique look and feel. The point of this thread is to showcase (read: show off) your foobar layout and share it with others. The rules are simple: 1.) Post a screenshot of your foobar configuration. 2.) Provide the details about all the plugins, etc., you used to achieve this layout. 3.) Provide a download link to your theme and any applicable plugins that may be needed. (To export your theme, hit File > Preferences > Display > Default User Interface and then hit the "Export Theme" button. Before we begin, I'd like to start off with a few notes about importing custom foobar themes. First, if any plugins are required for the theme, those plugins MUST be installed before you import the theme. If not, it'll just tell you that whatever elements the plugins run are broken or missing. If you are not sure how to install Foobar plugins, just follow this link for more information. After you have the plugin(s) installed, you can import the theme(s) by using the same instructions for exporting a theme. The buttons are right next to each other in the preferences menu. Retro Functionality w/o custom Win7 theme w/ custom Win7 theme The purpose of my layout is simple - I wanted a layout that did everything I wanted in a tidy, organized manner with an old-school retro format. Overall, it's not that fancy of a layout, but that was part of the original goal. Note: I use a custom theme for Windows 7 to achieve the final appearance.
