Summary Florida Govenor Ron DeSantis passed a new law banning people under the age of 14 from using social media with the reasoning that it is heavily addictive and the young people don't understand what they are getting into. This legislation, called HB 3, is the same legislation that is requiring age verification for sexually explicit websites. Quotes My thoughts I think all of this new legislation has the right heart and people under 14 100% should NOT be on social media. There are so many scammers and child predators that are just waiting for kids like these to fall for their schemes. That said, I think the age verification is a TERRIBLE idea. So, apparently, the systems controlling all this isn't air gapped like it is at nuclear facilities for instance. So I made this build using Linus Tech Tips Youtube vids and PCPartPicker. After using it for more than 1 year, my mind is now going into (upgrade the hardware mode!) Hello fellow Orlando/Florida residents! Quick easy question: What is the best IPS provider in Orlando? I need around 60+ Mbps. I do also prefer if it has a "bundle" deal with like cable and phone. Checked FiOS but they don't have internet in my specific area. Pretty sure Brighthouse might be the top of the list... So! So last night we were having one of our normal afternnoon storms here in Florida and our power went out for a split second. I came back into the office and saw that both of my monitors were flashing, I thought it was abnormal so I went ahead and rebooted my system and it did the same thing. At this point I was at a loss. I went ahead and unplugged all of my peripherals except for my keyboard, mouse, one monitor and my GPU, it kept giving me the same error, so at a last resort, I went ahead and did a system restore to an earlier backup and that seemed to have solved my issue's, it booted within its normal times with my SSD. My question is, should I be worried at all that there is a larger error and I have just managed to put a band-aid on it? I am fairly sure it is not my PSU, Mobo or GPU seeing as I am fairly sure that I would not have managed to operate normally after I did my restore. Thanks!!
