Pictures are in the PcPartPicker link - https://pcpartpicker.com/b/DLx6Mp ryzen 1300x , 8gb ram, and a "broken" rx470(bios update and gpu ran games fine.) i ran away with this bundle for 64 DOLLARS!! A STEAL IF U ASK ME. Case was found local and was pretty disgusting.. Pretty much a common occurrence since I almost ALWAYS get the case local. The PSU, while overkill was missing the modular GPU cables, so i had to buy an adapter off ebay(totaled into PSU price) MOLEX-to-6pin, a320 MOBO and 120gb SSD were got on ebay Ended up selling the PC for $450 and it only cost about $200. I know that the PC needs storage but i have terrible luck buying hdd's second hand (more dead drives than working drives in inventory atm) Whats crazy about this build is that i saw them trying to sell it on my local selling sites like half a year later. Same ghetto Molex-to-6pin and parts and everything. AND HE WAS ASKING FOR $600!! IDK if they sold it or not but they had my contact info and never once hit me up about anything wrong with the PC. note: this build is not recent

Last year i got an ASUS ZenBook Flip UX360UA for Christmas, for my studies doing both A Level Photography and BTEC L3 Media. I love this laptop but the WiFi is awful, we pay for 152Mbps internet at home, which over ethernet i get between 160 - 180, however over WiFi i only get around 50Mbps max, with my friend getting around 70Mbps at my house (the walls in my house are thick). I'm fine with this but would like more. At school is the worst in some places i barely get internet with my mate getting highs of 10Mbps, and in the best places i get around 50Mbps with again my mate getting 70Mbps. I was wondering what would be the best WiFi card to replace the stock one with as i am tired of getting awful internet both at home and especially at school, or if there was anything i could do to improve speeds.

Hello. I am looking to build a new main system featuring all of the newest amd parts. cpu will be a 1950x cooled with either a 240 or 360 clc at the front, a zenith extreme mobo with dual vega 64 liquid cooled edition cards powered by a 1200w platinum psu. the only question now is case. there's some things that i would like to see: tempered glass eatx mobo support full/super tower if possible. ample space for all the rads (240/360 at front for cpu & 2x 120 on top for vega rads) very few visible cables (options like dark base pro 900 have a lot of open space around the mobo tray, leaving lots of cables visible. basically asking for a solid mobo tray area) white/light in color to help bring out any rgb strip colors much better. although any color will do. if possible, a 90 degree setup to have the gpus standing vertically. although a normal layout will do. price range is $300. i refuse to use thermalfake. any advice or help would be greatly appreciated. i am not picky on time (i'm actually waiting to see if vega 64 lce goes down in price at all). so options that are out of stock now but will be back in stock later are fine with me.

Hey yall. I'm case shopping but want a case with a side panel window on the right panel not the left. If it's on the left I will never be able to see or appreciate it, and I want to. That's non negociable. As far as i can tell the single case on the market right now with an inverted layout - at least the only one worth salt, is the corsair 600c. It's a nice case, I like it. But it's plastic and perspex and I'm a huge sucker for quality material choices. It was glass and aluminium shopping for me, long before they became popular. I know there are a couple cases with reversable motherboard trays such that they're flexible. I can't name them all off the top of my head, but they include the Be Quiet! cases and the origin pc custom tower. I would look into a good case like that. What I want is to take a conventional ATX case, flip it upside down, put the top panel on the bottom and the bottom on the top (either by a perfect fit, adhesives and glue, or by some modification) and for the front panel to look good enough upside down as it is. The way I see it, there are two cases right now that look like they'd be easy to make the same upside down as right way up - Phanteks Enthoo Evolv ATX, and the Corsair 570x. Could someone with one of those cases take a look at their top and bottom panels and see if they line up at all? I've gone to pc shops but they're not fans of me inverting and deliberately dismantling their display cases. Otherwise, tips on other good invertable cases, either by design or by accident. Many thanks.

Hi guys, I want to monitor the traffic of a samsung flip chart (link to product page https://www.samsung.com/us/business/support/owners/product/wm-h-series-digital-signage-wm55h/) I am doing an internship right now, and I spoke with the head of IT about the samsung flip chart they have in one of the meeting rooms, security concerns came up and I offered that I would try to make kind of a background check on this device and the behaviour. I hoped for already done security checkups in the web, but couldn't find anything useful. So I thought of using Glasswire, as it not only captures the packages but already analyzes it and well it's easy to use and very simple to see all the connections and stuff. For testing I setup an old laptop at home to share its wifi connection with the LAN adapter (pretty easy to do), then I connected a second laptop to the lan and I used the internet connection over this setup. It worked well. For testing I downloaded the windows10.iso and in task manager I saw how the first laptop pulled 70mbit/s and sent 75 via lan. Exactly what I wanted. Now I tried to set up Glasswire. But Glasswire does not capture/show the traffic going to the LAN laptop. It only showed the traffic for the laptop with the wifi connection. That was really shitty and I am very sad now, as I don't really know how I can monitor the samsung flips network traffic now. Is there a way where I can like modify glasswire so that it also picks up the traffic going to the lan connected device? I guess it only picks up the traffic for the IP of the machine on which it is installed. And if not do you know of any other solution for my problem? Note that I don't have full Admin privileges on this company network. It is a pretty big company and I really don't wanna mess with firewall and router settings of the network. Greetings, Martin

Alright so i'm considering flipping the fan of my psu since i bought a second gtx 980 for cheap a little while and the gpu fan and psu fan go oposite ways and they are right besides each other so they are both taking from the same air i guess. so i'm thinking of flipping the psu fan atleast to try it. i cant have it draw air in from the bottom because of how my case is. wondering if this is a terrible idea what do you guys think?

asus Vivobook vs. Vivobook flip
StereotypicalTechSupport posted a topic in Laptops and Pre-Built Systems
Hey guys Currently in the market for a new laptop and I'm really leaning towards the Vivobooks, preferred brand is definitely Asus and the price bracket is just right. Both the standard vivobook as well as the flip sport the same hardware with an I5 8250u and 8gb ddr4 2400 ram. They differ when it comes to the screen with the former coming with a 15" running @ 1366 x 768 while the later has a 14" @ 1920 x 1080 with touch screen. This machine will be used for office work as well as movie watching from time to time(1080p a bonus here). Is a flip worth the extra 350 Canadian rubles? -
I just bought a new phone (Umidigi Z Pro) and am now looking for a case for it. However, I do not really want a case that covers the back of the phone, as I like the sturdy feel of the phone and would like to avoid covering the back if possible. As such, I am looking for a case that is essentially just a leather (or fake leather) cover for the screen with some sort of way to attach it to the side of the phone so it can flip. I remember, vaguely, seeing these in the past however have not had any luck finding one myself,. So I would greatly appreciate if any of you know of such cases for the Umidigi Z Pro, or just generic ones for 5.5" screens. Thanks

While I was searching for a new notebook / ultrabook online, I found some information about the new ASUS Zenbook Flip (UX360CA); a very thin 13.3'' convertible ultrabook that also comes at a thin price. http://liliputing.com/2016/04/asus-zenbook-flip-ux360-unveiled-in-taiwan.html Presentation Specifications Processor Intel® Core™ M 6Y30 Processor, Intel® Core™ M 6Y54 Processor, Intel® Core™ M 6Y75 Processor, Operating System Windows 10 Home Windows 10 Pro Memory 4 GB LPDDR3 1866MHz SDRAM Onboard Memory, up to 8 GB SDRAM Display 13.3" (16:9) LED backlit QHD+ (3200x1800) Glare Touchscreen with 72% NTSC 13.3" (16:9) LED backlit FHD (1920x1080) Glare Touchscreen with 72% NTSC Graphic Integrated Intel HD Graphics 515 Storage Solid State Drives: 128GB/256GB/512GB SATA3 M.2 SSD Keyboard Chicklet keyboard Card Reader Multi-format card reader WebCam HD Web Camera *1 HD 720p CMOS module Networking Wi-Fi Integrated 802.11a/b/g/n/ac(2x2) (WIDI Support) *1 Bluetooth Built-in Bluetooth V4.1 *1 Interface 1 x Microphone-in/Headphone-out jack 2 x USB 3.0 port(s) 1 x USB-C Gen 1 (up to 5 Gbps) 1 x micro HDMI 1 x SD card reader 1X AC adapter plug 1 x Volume up/down Audio Built-in Stereo 1.6 W Speakers And Digital Array Microphone ASUS SonicMaster Technology Battery 3 Cells 54 Whrs Polymer Battery Power Adapter Plug Type :ø4 (mm) Output : 19 V DC, 2.37 A, 45 W Input : 100 -240 V AC, 50/60 Hz universal Dimensions 323 x 220 x 13.9 mm (WxDxH) (w/ 3cell battery) Weight 1.3 kg with Battery Security BIOS Booting User Password Protection HDD User Password Protection and Security Pricing It is currently available here in the EU starting at only 789,-€ (608GBP) http://skinflint.co.uk/asus-zenbook-ux360ca-fc060t-black-90nb0ba2-m00590-a1440948.html?t=alle&plz=&va=b&vl=uk&hloc=at&hloc=de&hloc=pl&hloc=uk&hloc=eu&v=e&togglecountry=set#filterform (I wasn't able to find a price for the US) Personal opinion It looks like a very appealing notebook to me. At only 13,9mm thick it's one of the thinnest, if not the thinnest convertible on the market. It's also fairly light and compared to Asus' own Zenbook UX305, which was for quite a long time the thinnest noebook on the market, you can now get a touchscreen for the same price, if not cheaper. I'll get my hands on one of those and see myself if it can hold up to my expectations.

Hey guys! I have something ridiculous to show you, and if someone here is stupid/awesome enough to make something like this; please private message me. I'd love to see it. lol http://xkcd.com/1372/ (It's 2 smart watches turned into a flip-phone + iPhone thing. Gotta see the picture to understand.)

Hello everyone! So I just created a Twitch account and got fairly well started on it. But then I wanted to have a webcam, of which I didn't have yet. So here are my two options: buy a new ~$30 HD webcam, or use a camcorder. I decided to first try my HD webcam that I've had for some time. It's a Flip video® UltraHD camcorder (http://www.amazon.com/Flip-UltraHD-Video-Camera-Generation/dp/B0023B14TK/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1428786428&sr=8-1&keywords=flip+video+ultra+hd). Is there any way to use this camcorder or other related camcorders as a webcam?

If you own a mechanical keyboard, chances are that you can flip your spacebar. Do it. It offers a more ergonomic feel while typing and especially while gaming. Once you try it, you'll never go back. Carefully remove your spacebar, flip it around, and put it back on. EDIT:

I just got the Fit 14A (Or Flip) and the brightness almost sent me over the edge. I can't control it at all! The brightness control will just set your "Preference" brightness. And it will do the rest. I usually like the auto brightness on these things, but this one us really annoying. It's usually too dark, and making it hard to see. And then at night, i have the brightness down. And it will turn up for no reason! I have tried the Sony forums. The only fix is in the VAIO control center. But (For some reason) i do not have that option. The "Turn Auto-Brightness off" switch is just not there. I will attach a screen shot. Anyone else know another way? Because this is crazy! Is it a windows setting, intel setting, or Sony setting. The snip has the model also.
