For a little while now I have been planning a first gaming pc. After doing many revisions and learning new things, I feel confident about this build. However as i'm just a noobie and looking for some feedback, I came to these forums to ask if this is a good gaming pc. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/QR8Ljc I'm on a budget and don't plan to go above $700. I also have two more questions. Are these parts compatible with each other? Also, will I be safe overclocking my cpu to 3.8 GHz and overclocking my gpu? Any feedback is appreciated! Thank you very much!

I have been looking forward to building a gaming pc for litterally months, i am just 12 my life has never been of luxury, i was used to play crappy games on a crappy pc untl my brother bought a ps4, i loved it but now he is moving to college and thinkng about the mods and all the stuff i could do in a pc that i couldnt in console, so i set my mind on that a gaming pc was what i wanted, but the cryptomining apocalypse came and prces skyrocketed i mean an rx 480 for 400 dollars? so as linus said need what gives me the best bang for my buck, I have a parts list already, (https://pcpartpicker.com/list/NwCzJV) but after a while i tought why not replace the core i5 with a pentium g4620 or an i3 7100 and instead of getting a 3gb 1060 i can get a 1060 ti of course bottlenecking mght be an issue nut snce cant really know and cant afford to test things out i would like for someone with experience to help me

Hey I'm a complete newbie, this is a pre built for WOW from a UK site cyberpower I have amended the case and added fans, is the intel standard cooler enough with the extra fans? I want a Windows pc to play WOW, GW2, SIMS 4 and FFonline all on high to ultra settings. I'm not looking to build myself. I currently own a 10year old Mac which will only play GW2 on low settings. Hey Guys! I have just planned my first Gaming PC Build! And it took me a week to figure out the CPU for it, the graphics card was an easy choice, the RAM wasn't something to think about, the cooler was stock and can handle the load, **Note that I am building a Budget Gaming PC, so I wont step up unless I really really have to, cause I am ok with anything above 70/80 fps** The Specs: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 1600 GPU: AMD RX 580 RAM: Corsair Vengeance LPX DDR4 2133 C13 2X8GB SSD: Samsung 860 EVO 250GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB (2016) Motherboard: MSI B350 TOMAHAWK (MS-7A34) Power Supply: EV3A G3 750 G3 Modular Cooler: ***Stock will do*** Case: **Leave that** I need recommendations on the CPU and RAM.. Hoping a positive response, -Basil

I'm looking to build a brand new gaming PC with a budget of 1500 Australian dollars as I am currently on a laptop and it's horrible. I don't mind spending a hundred or so dollars on the PC if needed. The system's main use will be for gaming, and I'm aiming for the PC to run more competitive games like CS:GO, Overwatch etc. at a solid 144fps to match a 144hz monitor that I plan on getting. I'd also like the PC to be able to play more recent games at the said frame rate or even just above 60 if possible, as my friends are constantly playing games like PUBG which aren't able to run on my current laptop. I plan on getting a 144hz monitor with a resolution of 1080p or above, maybe even with G-sync, but I may get another one just to do things while I'm in a game, as alt-tabbing is a pain. Though the second monitor will just be a normal 1080p monitor. Also as a side note, don't bother adding the monitor to the budget for the PC, as I'll purchase it separately, but do feel free to recommend any good and relatively low-cost ones. As for peripherals, I've got mostly everything except the monitor and OS (Windows 10). I'm upgrading from a garbage HP laptop, which I think is pretty self-explanatory when it comes to why I'm upgrading. Thanks to everyone who took their time to read this or help me out with the build!

Hello tech people! I'm pretty new to custom pc builds and all the components, as I've finally saved up some money to build my first PC! (yay) I've done some research over the build guides and what not and chose out components that were appealing to me. Just some background information to get an idea of stuff, I live in Australia, Melbourne. my budget is around $2000 and waiting for Christmas sales, where hopefully prices will drop down a bit. (Prices in America are so much better T^T). I'm more of a casual gamer, games such as titan fall, league of legends, and some mmorpg games like guild wars 2. As well for simple browsing and video watching. Anyway, the colour theme I was going for was white, I wouldn't mind mixing in some other colours, but preferably white. Currently I have these components on my list: CPU: AMD FX-8320 3.5GHz 8-Core Processor Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-990FXA-UD3 ATX AM3+ Motherboard Cooling: Cooler Master Hyper 212 EVO 82.9 CFM Sleeve Bearing RAM: Kingston HyperX Fury White 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1866 SSD: Samsung 850 EVO-Series 120GB 2.5" Solid State Drive Hard drive: Western Digital Caviar Blue 1TB 3.5" 7200RPM Video card: MSI GeForce GTX 960 2GB Video Card Power supply: Corsair CX 430W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-Modular ATX Power Supply Case: Aerocool GT-A-White ATX Case Monitor: LG 25UM57-P 60Hz 25.0" Monitor Operating system: Microsoft Windows 8.1 OEM (64-bit) - $120 Everything here adds up to around $1800 give or take, I'm not sure about whether to have good overclocking capabilities. please don't hesitate if you wish to change or add anything to the list, I'm open to suggestions. I would really appreciate it if you guys took the time to help me out here, much thanks in advance!!

I got a $1000-1100 budget to build my first gaming Pc, this doesnt include a monitor, a mouse, headset, nor taxes. I know nothing about computers so please try to explain it all to me. Here is a list I chose with my low knowledge about pc building, the bad thing is I cannot go that far from my budget limit. PCPartPicker part list / Price breakdown by merchant CPU: Intel Core i5-4690 3.5GHz Quad-Core Processor ($218.99 @ Directron) Motherboard: Gigabyte GA-H97-D3H ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($90.98 @ Newegg) Memory: G.Skill Ares Series 8GB (2 x 4GB) DDR3-1600 Memory ($59.98 @ OutletPC) Storage: Crucial MX100 128GB 2.5" Solid State Drive ($69.00 @ B&H) Storage: Western Digital BLACK SERIES 2TB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($119.99 @ Newegg) Video Card: Sapphire Radeon R9 290 4GB Vapor-X Video Card ($301.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: Phanteks Enthoo Pro ATX Full Tower Case ($99.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA 600B 600W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($44.99 @ NCIX US) Optical Drive: Asus DRW-24B1ST/BLK/B/AS DVD/CD Writer ($19.49 @ OutletPC) Operating System: Microsoft Windows 7 Home Premium SP1 (OEM) (64-bit) ($86.89 @ OutletPC) Keyboard: Logitech G710 Wired Gaming Keyboard ($99.99 @ Amazon) Total: $1212.28 Prices include shipping, taxes, and discounts when available Generated by PCPartPicker 2015-04-25 15:01 EDT-0400 Requirements (or recommendations for my build): I prefer having Intel over AMD The case and the keyboard I chose are almost deffinitive At least something close to the r9 290 4gb video card No less than a 8gb RAM I need this Pc to run games like GTA V, BF4 at a decently high quality. Thanks for the help in advance. And sorry for my poor english, I am not a native english speaker.

This is my Gaming PC build from the Australian Website pccasegear.com https://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=409064&action=wish_lists, My budget is $1500-2000 AUD, Can spend more on a mouse needs to be Ambidextrous and a Keyboard. Open to any and all suggestions as I don't know much about PC's and would be greatly appreciated. I most likely will not do any overclocking. I plan to play games on Steam some casual e.g The forest and Stranded deep. And other games like Dying light possibly battlefield. And I want to play Custom Zombies. I will be playing on a 1080p ASUS monitor. Should I get DDR4 or no point because it's pretty expensive compared to DDR3? I'm happy with any case that'll fit everything fine. Might move to a double or triple monitor setup in the future most likely. I think that's enough info. If you guys could help that would be awesome cheers and any tips for the future would be great.
