UPDATE 4/7/21: I see this is still being used but fairly outdated. I will look to update this and create a new tracking system to organize the results. I have decided to start a LTT 3DMark spreadsheet for anyone looking to keep track of their scores in relation to other users of the community. Hi guys, I'm kinda stuck here... I use a i5 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz with a MSI GTX 970 as my daily driver. Now, I tried 3DMark (Steam Edition) Firestrike 1.1 and it resulted in low scores, I think. My Graphics Score seems about right at 12.350 points at a 1460 Mhz core clock, but the Physics Score seems off at just 8461. After some research I found it should be at at least 9500 points. So I've been looking ito this but to no avail. The only pointers I found were Windows power profile (which is at High Performance). It doesn't throttle or anything. Anyone got an idea? I'm lost. i5 4690k @ 4.4 Ghz on 1.181 volts MSI GTX 970 @ 1460 Mhz 16 GB DDR3 @ 1600 Mhz Windows 10 Pro x64 Thanks, guys! I'd appreciate any help.

So I built a computer with a Gigabtye 1070 OC Mini 8GB and an i5-6600k overclocked to 4.1GHz. When I run Heaven benchmark with the settings as high as they go in 1080p, it ranges from 65 to 90 fps most of the time. When I run Firestrike, though, just the normal one, not ultra, and still in 1080p... That doesn't seem right, does it? Is there something wrong here, or am I just HUGELY overestimating the power of the 1070? It seems like I should be able to hit at least 14000 based on similar system scores, and all the reviews of the Gigabyte 1070 Mini I can find seem to get around 15000. I don't think my CPU overclock is unstable- it doesn't get very hot at all when running Heaven (I have a good cooler on it; 4.1GHz shouldn't be a struggle at all). And I haven't messed with the GPU settings at all. Thinking about it, the Heaven benchmark FPS values seem really low to me now as well considering I'm in 1080p. Shouldn't I be getting over 80fps 100% of the time? Because it was dipping lower than that, frequently. It's not thermal throttling, either. Temps have not gone above 56 degrees throughout all of this. Is this odd? I feel like graphics cards get hotter than this when benchmarking. Anyone have any ideas? I've already looked around in my Nvidea control panel, no help there, and don't really know what else to do in terms of troubleshooting. EDIT: Here's my Heaven benchmark score, and already there are some clues that something is weird. Everywhere else my GPU is recognised at 8GB, but here it only shows up as 4GB. Also when the benchmark is running, it shows my CPU clock at 4004MHz and my GPU at 1937MHz... but then here it says the CPU is at stock. Someone help me out. I really don't want to have to take this PC apart, it's brand new...

So i recently bought a cheap 1080, was on "fire" sale. Got myself a Palit Jetstream.... nice card, quiet, fast and the deal was just TOO GOOD to be passed... was a open box card, was returned because customer bought the wrong version (dumdum)... so i got it for 460$, you just can't pass that up. BUT, i got a 295x2, so i just HAD to see how big a difference it would make... and well, i am disappoint, note, my 295x2 IS running OC'd, but i don't find that "unfair" as the 1080 got GPU boost 3.0, which is basically just auto overclock anyway.... My 1080 got to 1880 MHz on GPU boost 3.0 (according to MSI afterburner), which i consider a pretty decent speed. BUT, like i said, i was disappointed... kinda wasted 460$, BUT, it shall not go to waste. My friend @Dackzy has recently had issues with his GPU, so i decided to give him my 1080 so he could continue playing games with me. He was thrilled to finally be able to upgrade his HD 7950 "Double Dissipation".... But why, WHY would you do that you ask? Because i am usually an ass, and i have recently taken up a book in self help when it comes to building relationships and making friends. being an ass doesn't help when trying to make friends. Giving them a 1080 does!!!! And you know what? it feels guuuud man!!! feels so guud!! BUT, i know people are going to call BS, so here is the images. Proof that i got it and that i installed it!!! So, I recently had to buy a new copy of windows and reinstall it.. I downgraded from windows 10 pro to home... I entered in my overclock again into Asus GPU tweak II exactly the same as I had it before I reinstalled windows.. All of my drivers are up to date. For some reason, my score is 500 points lower than it was before I reinstalled windows... I'm curious as to what is causing my score to drop so much. I even went into my bios and disabled EIST thinking that I might have changed that setting at some point and that only increased my score by 200 points not the 17500 score I had before... I'm wondering if the cause is some directx stuff that hasn't been installed yet maybe since I haven't fired up many games since reinstalling? could that be it maybe? I don't think that downgrading to windows 10 home would make a difference with benchmarks. Side note: Should I enable legacy tweaking? I noticed that setting in my bios and it says it improves benchmarks.. what are the pros and cons of that? MSI z97 pc mate Asus strix gtx 1080 ROG OC gaming edition i7 4790k windows 10 home thanks!

So, satisfy my curiosity.. What are your scores like for a 1080ti with NO overclock in firestrike in 3d mark.. and what clock speed is 3dmark reporting. I'm curious if my overclocked 1080 matches a 1080ti without an OC. My score is just under 18,000 and I get a clock speed of 2.088 with a semi-mild overclock. I'm actually more interested in the clock speeds since the CPU will effect the overall score. -
Rx 480 firstrike results. Use the standard settings that are preset on normal firestrike only, and plz only post screenshot of hardware and graphics result. Also post the max temp, speed, and model. The rx 480 oc and performance is still hit and miss lets help each other out. Give advice on what you did for others that ask plz.

Since the company is too greedy to let me ask on their own forums until I 1st spend 5 bucks is why I'm here instead. Upon trying to download the 3DMark Demo so I can add Fire Strike to my list of GPU benchmarks, it doesn't do anything. I can see a little circle moving in the upper right corner but that's it, no download or install progress ever shows no matter how long I wait. I've even checked Task Manger to see if there's any network activity & none. Any ideas? If not I'll just uninstall Steam & never look back because any company that 1st wants my money before I receive help for a "free" product isn't worth my time .

I upgraded from the 960 2GB to a 1660 EVGA card today, and when running Firestrike, it keeps giving me a score of 0 and saying "Workload produced no results". The first run stopped after the first test, and second run didn't launch at all. When installing the GPU I made sure to DDU before and reinstall the latest drivers after the switch. My specs are right below. Any help regarding this would be much appreciated. Hi, I have been running some Firestrike benchmarks and I noticed that my CPU temps are pinned at around 95˚c for the whole benchmark. I though this was strange as I am using a corsair H100x AIO and I have never come across any temp issues before. I decided to run the benchmark again and run Core Temp in the background to see if 3Dmark is reporting the temp correctly. According to Core Temp my CPU max temp was 59˚c which seems more in line with normal as my idle temps sit around 40-45˚c. Just wondering if anyone knows why this issue is occurring and should I just stick with trusting Core Temp's readings? CPU: Ryzen 2600x

I just hit 5.4 ghz all cores at 1.36 volts for 1 run of firestrike. Anyone hit higher? I have 1 360mm rad cooling my CPU and evga rtx 2080ti xc ultra. Hit a score of 31353 combined. Anyone hit a higher clock for this? -
So I've just brought a used 1080 TI and I just wanted to see how far I could push it. Naturally, I began overclocking using MSI afterburner, but I noticed something strange about the score I'm getting on firestrike being a lot higher compared to my current one. For science purposes, I built an identical system to my current set up and did a controlled test. I set both 1080TI to the same clock speed, however one of them just kept on getting higher scores for some reason, even when I lowered its GPU memory speed comparing to the other one. I have sapphire nitro+ RX580 special edition. Running at 1474mhz core and 2250mhz memory. With i7 4790 and asus b85m-g mobo with 16GB DDR3 1600mhz. In fire strike benchmark i get around 16500, i see other scores reaching way more and can be reached to 25k on less core and memory clocks... (stock) Why is that? My GPU is getting the power needed, no throttling, normal temps.

Running the standard firestrike, im only reporting a 12.4k graphics score with my reference 980ti when i know other 980tis should be scoring way more than that. My temps are fine and clocks are reporting, and it is a new os with new drivers. I also noticed firestrike reported my 980ti's brand as hewlett packard..? Any help would be appreciated.

So I was planning on putting my 980ti on ln2 this weekend but realized it's going to be very hard to break any record so I thought hey I got this 1030 laying around why not use this. I was wondering if anyone knows the score or clock speed record for a gt1030. Cause I'm looking to go Sub-Zero and maybe blow it up if all else fails.

Last week my firestrike graphics scores were 1000+ points higher than they have been this week. The temperatures were even warmer last week. It's just the graphics scores that are lower. I posted about this earlier in the week and I want to see if more people can help me. Specs: 4790k clocked at 4.9 ghz at 1.43v 16gb of Corsair vengeance ram clocked at 2133 mhz at 1.65v MSI GTX 970 and it's OCed at: Memory: 4,096 MB Core clock: 1,554 MHz Memory bus clock : 2,048 MHz RM 650x PSU Win10 Pro 64 bit NZXT Kraken x52 cooler I tried the following: Closed a lot of programs. Set my Windows and Nvidia settings to performance. Uninstalled drivers with DDU in Safe mode and I plan to do that again right now. Downclocked my GPU and was watching to see if my scores would change to see if my GPU was more stable. Nothing worked so far. I took out 16 gbs of ram to use less usage on my memory bus. I currently have my ram clocked at 2133mhz(16 gb.) I'd like some help and to see if I can find some other variables that might be making this happen. Thank you guys. -

Hi, my PC is doing really crazy things. My rig: i7-4820k (4.5GHz O.C.) P9X79-PRO G.Skill Ripjaws X DDR3 1866 PC3-14900 16GB 2x8GB CL9 2x SLI - Asus GeForce GTX780 DirectCU II OC 3GB GDDR5 Samsung 850 Evo SSD Series 1TB Sata3 Asus ROG Swift PG278Q 27" LED 3D 144Hz Etc,etc... The Problem: Start saying that this just started recendly, I have been playing Overwatch like 7 days and 4 of them it was smoothly. When I run Overwatch for some minutes my fps's fall from 130 aprox to 8-15, and they keep there till I reboot. But something really strange happens, if I exit the game and open task manager for example the task manager window is perfectly ok, my cursor move smoothly on it and all the menus work as fast as it should but if i move the cursor to the desktop if goes slow-mo as well as the start menu the task bar going up and down etc... Reboot solve it. Another really strange thing is that Fire Strike drop fps's to 20 in Graphics test 2 (I neves saw less that 70 on my monitor) and even crashes. The problem here and what blow my mind is that Heaven Unigine with Directx11, High and 2560x1440 gives me an average of 117 FPS and I cant see any drop. I havent been testing more games so far, just some WoW and it keeps the usual fps. What I have done: Clean Windows 10 Pro installation --> Update Windows --> Install MOBO Drivers --> Install AI Suite to control fans --> Install Nvidia drivers --> Update to Geforce Experience 3 --> Install Asus GPU Tweak (touching nothing, just install) --> Install Battle.net --> Install Overwatch --> Install Curse (Voice) --> Optimize Overwatch with GE3 (keeping 2560x1440, it recommends 4K with downscalling) --> Run Overwatch. And ¿what do you think that happened? Yes... Problem still there. I installed Steam and 3DMark from it and run 3DMark, again the same problem. Heaven keeps going smoothly. I know this is a challenge but ¿can someone give me some ideas to fix this? Please.... Ty

DOES A CPU IMPACT FIRESTRIKE SCORE???

SoOoOoO, i once upon a time had 3 gtx 780 ti's and a i7 5820k which we all know it can be overclocked modestly to 4.5, and it was ballin, scored about a 19,600 ish on firestrike. Then i was like, no that is not enough cores or not enough graphics power or cuda perforformance. So i upgraded to 2 gtx 980 Ti's and a Xeon E5-2628L v4 cpu and which we know cant be overclocked and has a boost clock of i think 2.5 or 2.9, and my scores are like highest like 17,500 ish, when i see others that have around 23,000 to 25,000 ish with a 5820k or 5930k etc. Now of course those cpu's have a way higher clock speed than my xeon. So i am assuming firestrike just like gaming loves to have faster cores, than many slower ones correct? Someone pleasee tell me that i basically ansered my own question hahaa. But also wanted to add, does having multi monitor setup affect firestrike as well? -
Running through my first overclocking experience with this card (and my first overclocking experience ever) I'm running into a few issues with 3dmark Firestrike. I was able to hit +120Mhz on the GPU clock and +580Mhz on the memory clock max without crashing or artifacts in Heaven, but I couldn't get Firestrike to run for more than 20 seconds without crashing. Even if I reduce my overclock to a mere 25 Mhz GPU clock and +0 Mhz for the memory, it still crashes. I was able to run the program fine before I messed with any of the overclocking. Is this signalling that my OC is unstable? Or just that Firestrike isn't working for some reason. It would be a shame if my GPU could only really hit +25 Mhz safely... attached below is my Heaven benchmarks before and after my OC.
