I've been looking for a VERY cheap Coaxial Gigabit Modem that doesn't have a router for about 3 hours now lmao. I have a Nighthawk X4S Router which can do Gigabit but I need to upgrade my modem. I've been looking and I cant find one cheap. I don't need name brand or one that looks nice. Anyone have any ideas or modems?

Hey All, Out of nostalgia and talking with my sisters, we came around the topic of quite old game that we played around 2000s. It was a tetris game with PvP mode (I think even more that 1vs1 - 1vs1vs1 and also it was possible to play vs a PC) that had a feature to screw up your opponent's puzzle with multiple types of "weapons", like shuffle or add additional blocks. There were also some helpful blocks. And it had awesome music in it It was an offline game (maybe there was a newer revision with online play - don't know) that was possible to download at a time (and also was still developed as new versions were available), not Flash based, but now when looking for it, not possible to find anything. That may indicate that it was an independent work. And the title that I think it had was Etris, but Google Search does not help me with that. Maybe my memory is blurry with that one. Maybe it rings a bell to someone? [UPDATE] Now after doing some digging it may be not 2000s, but late 90s as we remembered other game that we played a lot: Bust-a-Move 2: Arcade Edition. That one is dated from 1996 (thx Wiki), but it's possible that we played it not when it was brand new. So this tetris gam would be from late 90s or early 2000s. And, by looking on some YT videos, it was dark themed (maybe even black background) with blocks with colors, but "I think" not whole - just a borders.

Hey, I need to find this game. I remember very weird details, but I don't remember the name of the game. So you start off somewhere in a town when knights attack the town, I remember that they shout "hey pal" sometimes if they see you. There are different chapters. One Chapter you capture a ship to go to orc lands (medieval fantasy like game) In another chapter you are in a dungeon of some sort and in another chapter you are in the town again while it's under attack. There is a demon inside you or something you can press V to become the demon after a certain chapter. In chapter 8 you can go to a place (a church or something) drink water to get the demon out of your body, the demon will try to stop you. The demon has the voice of a women btw. When you go to orc lands you can pick up an orc sword, but you can only use it if your strenght level is 3. There are cyclops, knights, spiders and orcs in the game. There is a mage chick that you meet somewhere at the start of the game. In chapter 8 she will send you to the church to get the demon out. If you don't listen to her then you'll meet her somewhere and then she tries to kill you, if you do listen to her then you will fight the endboss together. There are different endings. With one of the endings you let your father out or something. In the other ending you leave him in there. If you choose to keep the demon in you then the demon will discourage you to let your father out with the thing (don't remember what the thing was). If you choose to drink the water at the church and get the demon out then the chick will discourage you to do it. The demon says something like: You shouldn't let your father out he's using you and now you can have a lot of might (or something like that). I also remember that one chapter takes place in a sort of dungeon where you fight skeletons or undead or something. I also remember that you can 1 v 1 an orc boss and if you win the buddys of the orc will let you pass and they'll not attack you. This is everything I can remember I played this game 4/5 years ago. I tried to google a lot, but I couldn't find anything. It's weird that I only remember details, but not the name of the game xD. I hope that someone can help me. Thanks in advance

Hell guys, I was watching Jack's video in Subnautica and at 13:11 there's a soundtrack that starts playing but I can't find it on youtube or soundcloud... apparently they haven't posted it online. Does anyone know the name of that song if it even has one as of now? Also I'd like to know whether I can just go in the game files and look for soundtracks in the assets or something. If yes then how do I do this? Here's the link that will take you to the time it starts playing: Any help is appreciated. Thanks

I genuinely thought this was worthy of it's own topic. After months of trying to find this solution, it just fell into my lap while trying to answer someone's question regarding connecting an Xbox to a monitor that only has DP1.2 and no HDMI2.0 https://www.shop.bt.com/products/startech-com-hdmi-to-displayport-converter---4k-hd2dp-BM05.html it's that bastard, it does exist.

Getting frustrated with google trying to find this thing (if it even exists), a friend has a little ITX build and his mobo has one of those often-useless female USB3 type-a ports right in the middle of his board, which he wants to use, as his case only has one port, and his mobo I/O only has 1. So i assumed that somewhere in the world, there existed basically a USB3 male to female extension cable, with a PCIe bracket on the female end, so you can screw it into a blank space, but i really am not having much luck finding it. Anyone seen this before ?

I've given up on trying to use my Asus K53TA laptop, too many problems for it to be worth even bringing it with me, so now I'm trying to find a new laptop to use on the go. I've already got a reasonably powered desktop (see signature), so it doesn't have to be incredibly powerful, though the more powerful, the better. What I'll be using it for... - Programming in Java using Eclipse and possibly VB in Visual Studio 2010 Express - Moderate gaming (In case I get bored, things like Skyrim or Minecraft) - School work (Browsing Internet, Microsoft Word/PowerPoint/Excel, Adobe Photoshop, etc..) - Occasional web/graphics design. (With Adobe Photoshop or similar) A few requirements for it.. - Can support at least 16GB of RAM - SATA 3 and M.2 Support (M.2 not required, but preferred) - Quad Core i5 or i7, 4th gen or newer. - Decent graphics (Something capable of games such as skyrim) - Standard layout keyboard (No oddly shaped backspace, enter, shift, etc... and reasonably sized arrow keys) - 13"-16" 1080p, 1440p, or 4k display, IPS, and Touchscreen. (IPS and Touchscreen not required, but preferred) - Decent battery life (3+ hours) - Costs less than $1,000 USD - Runs Windows I'd also prefer it to be as thin and light as it can, that way it's not weighing down my backpack. Right now I've got my eye on this laptop: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B015PYZI8E/ref=wl_it_dp_o_pC_S_ttl?_encoding=UTF8&colid=WWK4D3M9D6RZ&coliid=IZ2YQPZ53DGXU&psc=1 (Dell Inspiron i7559-5012GRY), it's a little over $1,000, though it also seems like it'd be pretty decent. I'm just curious as to if there's a better option out there for me for less. Thanks!

My dad told me of what seems to be an ancient and lost product. A product that may exist, but it has been lost in the folds of the google search. He told me about flat disks made of solder. Disks that were thin, like a coin shaped foil made of solder. You could put these disks in between two hot surfaces that you wished to solder together, apon cooling, they would be soldered together until the end of time... echos dramatically After searching for minutes and minutes on end, using terms like "soldering pads" "circular solder -wire" "soldering foil" "flat solder" "disks of solder" etc., I have yet to find anything. Do these exist? What are they called? Where can I find them?

First of all, I don't know if it's allowed here or not, if it isn't I'll remove. A few days ago I saw that I was charged for a HiFi family subscription on Tidal. I do have an account there but no subscription, I was testing which one is better for me. Someone got in my account, and bought using my credit card. They have a no refund policy, and I'm trying to work my way with it. Talking with the support I got all the IPs that accessed my account, 4 in total, 2 I recognize as my own, and 2 identical, one it's an iPhone the other a Fire TV. The person, got into my account, bought a family subscription, and added his own email as family member. So in short I have an IP and an email of someone who got into my account and I want to make him/her regret. I'm working on with support trying to find more info about the person. It is not about the money, it's about the message. Any help is welcome. Have a nice day/evening/night.

I apologise if this post is categorized incorrectly, it's my first one, so be gentle. I have a case from a company I can't identify. Google has not been helpful, and the only things I have to go on are as follows; the motherboard it used to house is an Asus pvi-486ap4, with an Intel i486 dx2. The picture below shows the case and it's front pannel, the plate on the front reads "New tech personal computer" If anyone can shed some light on this for me I'd appreciate it, I would like to know the history of the case, and also the pinout of the front plate so that I can wire up the lights and buttons properly.

So it turns out when Burkel was working for Linus he also did some skits with CBC Comedy and I am wondering where else we might find more videos of him.

Hi all, I'm looking for a small factor case that can fit an ATX mother board. the current case i'm using is big and have lots of empty space inside. This is the case i'm currently using: Carbide Series™ 400R Mid-Tower Case I want to make my PC more compact. So here's what the new case must fit inside: MSI Z370-GAMING-PLUS ATX Mother board GTX 1080 dual fan 279 x 140 x 42 mm Corsair 240mm Radiator with 2 fans Corsair 140mm Power Supply 3 Drives and 2 SSD No Optical Drive Bays, i don't want them and i don't use them. Price and aesthetics are at the bottom of my priorities, the most impotent thing is the size of the case. Any suggestions?

Hello! My EVGA GTX 970 SSC looks like it's 'sagging' a little bit, the PCB is bending about 1-2mm down. I'm trying to find backplates for it online but I can't seem to find any. It's out of stock at Amazon, Newegg, and EVGA's website. Does anyone know if they stopped supporting these backplates or if they're just really scarce right now?
