Hi, I am looking for a help with online file delivery solution. I am capable of coding it myself but I don't have time for that right now, so I'm asking if anybody doesn't know of existing solution. I will be selling a DVD with video from some event. Like 100 copies. Last year people complained that they don't have anything to play these DVD on. So I figured that I will include ONETIME USE ONLY link with digital download. (I would like to put it for free but I need to cover the cost of the cameraman and so on.) So I'm looking for solution where can I serve this single file locked with multiple unique passwords that are one time use only (so they won't share it). Idealy just a link and single password, no username. Either a ready made commercial solution or something I can serve from my trueNas core server. For example from my Nextcloud. Hello LTT community. It's been a long time since I was present. I'm now calling for some help. I've been experiencing some random crashes on Skull Abyss Phase One; primarily when I'm not actively gaming. When I come back into my computer room; I come into the Windows 10 login screen. I know for a fact I haven't restarted my system at all. Down below are Skull Abyss Phase One's system specifications, I have also uploaded a copy of the most recent dump file I was able to get a hold of. I would definitely like to get this issue resolved. Hey, earlier today I deleted a folder containing 200GB+ of files that ideally I would quite like to keep. I was deleting another file, and did not realise this other folder was selected. Because of its size it did not go into the recycle bin, and due to it being on an SSD it deleted very quickly before I had a chance to react. I have used various free file recovery apps, and decided to buy OnTrack EasyRecovery. It has been able to recover quite a lot of the files, some of which even have metadata (for example, mp3 files having artists etc.) and whilst there are a few 0 Bytes files, most of them seem to have their original file size back. The issue is, none of these files let me open them. For example, I'll open a PSD in Photoshop and it thinks its not a photoshop compatible file, or an mp4 in VLC etc. I'm assuming the files are corrupted somehow, so does anyone know how to fix them? Any suggestions would be appreciated NOTE: I still have the original drive, and have not saved, deleted or done anything to any other files on the drive to stop them from being overwritten.

So, i hava a 2 GB kingston SDHC card from my hunting/game camera and all of a sudden there are several weird folders and files on the card. Folder names: ┤¢û±▌Ç<.Ü╒ C±Ç▒cl╚.ne n«"K└\.fÇ& File: ùOì¼öû!ü.á█ 700mb I cannot open, rename, move, or copy them. If i try to modfiy them windows will say that the file ordirectory is invalid. OS: Windows 8

Hello everyone! I was just wodering, Ive got a fresh usb drive (sandisk) and wanted to backup some files. While it works for any folder, the one I acutally need to backup won't transfer. Nothing happens at all. Interesting is that I cannot even put it on my desktop either. Anyone Know's why that happens? and how to fix it?

Hello all, I work for a company that does ADA compliance assessments among other things, we use pretty bad digital cameras because we can customize how the photos are named. We can also quickly tell the assistant surveyor what photo numbers to attach to a specific finding while out in the field because the camera overlays the photo number on the image. Ex: "Overall photos for dwelling unit 313 are 0035 through 0045". Ex: When starting a new survey, we set the photo range to start at 0001. After we take these photos, we use a program to batch rename these files to append a 2 letter surveyor code (Ex: OQ) followed by the date (232003) and the photo number. The result would be a file name of "OQ232003-0001". We intend to keep the system for batch renaming in place, but we would like to replace the need for these digital cameras. They produce awful looking photos compared to modern smartphones. The problem is I can't find an app that allows the user to choose when to start or stop a number sequence for photos. Anyone know of an app like this or would I have to waste weeks attempting to develop it myself coming from 0 coding experience? -
Hi guys, I'm needing a bit of advice for a solution to continuously sync files from an unraid server to my PC's as well as other family members. Essentially OneDrive but it syncs to my server I'm looking at the reselio sync (formerly bittorrent sync) to do it, but happy to look at others. Thanks!

I have a stock Moto E6 through Boost Mobile that is fully updated to Android 9. I have a 128gb microSD that is doing fine. The 16gb on board storage is filling up though. I have used Avast Cleanup, File Manager Pro, ASTRO File Manager, and other methods to attempt to clean/remove the 2.1 gb Thumbnails file/folder yet nothing seems to work. I have deleted all photos, enabled permissions to the cleaning and file management apps, and followed various guides to create a replacement Thumbnails file but so far nothing is working. I remember this happening on my last few Android phones as well. It was at 2.11 at the start of November and as of today (November 30) it has grown to 2.15 gb. Any advice from the community? Can anyone explain to me the right way, or let's just say, the "go to" way to access my files from my Synology NAS while outside of my network? What are the substantial differences between using: a direct access to Synology File Station from a browser Using the Synology Drive app direct connection to my NAS as a remote network drive in windows files explorer I know that however I decide to connect remotely it will involve using Synology Quickconnect or either using a VPN. In my case I prefer to use Synology's own services because I'm not considering paying for a VPN yet, so Quickconnect it is. I have my NAS already mapped as a network drive in windows file explorer when I'm in the network and it's extremely intuitive because it's just one more drive in my PC, that's why the dillemma came on what to do instead when I'm accessing the NAS remotely. Hello, so I tried to setup PiVPN on my raspberry pi zero. I got it installed and configured completely. But at the final stage, which is creating a config file for your clients, I have been unsuccessful with getting the file off the Pi. I initially tried the scp command, but I either had directory issues or did not have permission. I tried to do it manually by booting up a Linux Mint VM and plugging in my micro SD card, but I could not copy the file off the VM or upload it to a cloud service due to not having "permission". There were also error messages saying the drive was not mounted, even though the SD card shows up on the desktop of my VM? So yeah, if I can't send the file over SSH and I can manually copy the file off the Pi....what can I do? Seems like a whole lot of nothing. Thanks.

I was just scrolling through my old hard drive and I see it a lot, where many file names will be replaced with X and occasionally capitalised. What's more confusing is these are the only files that are *not* corrupted compared to others. Heres a screenshot of a bunch of these files, the text files without 'X' are corrupted/encrypted for whatever reason. You can see that the X is forcefully replaced whatever text was previous there. Instead of key.png its XEY.PNG. hey guys, im continuing my adventure through Pop OS. but one thing thats really bugging me is the file manager. ive looked up some other file managers and i want to switch to Thunar. i installed it but how do i make my default file manager aka when i click on a folder it opens in Thunar. thanks -

Hello, so I've been trying to access an application but the 0x000007b error is showing up. From what I've found I need to copy a bunch of .dll files to Sys32 and Sys64WOW, but "xinput9_1_0" is the only one that can't be copied. Now I've been searching and finally accessed the ADMIN account(well I hope so), but unfortunately, the same thing happened where the access is denied. What can I do? -
When downloading a large folder (>50 GB) from Google Drive it'll split the download up in multiple smaller ZIP-files (about 2 GB each) which makes the original master folder a nightmare to put together again with all the files in their correct subfolders. How do I merge/combine multiple downloaded ZIP-files from Google Drive on Mac? -
So I downloaded this mp4 file, and I was trying to cut and paste it another folder but the progress bar's just stuck at 0% and I'm not getting any kind of error pop-ups. 1) File runs just fine. 2) Can copy and paste it anywhere I want. 3) Can't cut and paste it. 4) Can't delete it. Nothing happens if I try to do so. 5) Can't delete using Shift + Delete. 6) I've tried some cmd commands; They don't work. It appears that Windows can't find the file. Here are some Screenshots. 7) I've tried running chkdsk command to see if there are any errors. As far as I think, everything seems to be ok. 8) Can't rename the file either. If try to do so, File Explorer just straight up stops responding and restarts. Here's a Screen Recording of what happens. 2021-05-17 21-59-33.ts 9) Renaming the file through third party utilities such as WinRAR and 7-Zip doesn't work either. The programs just stop working. 10) The same phenomena happen when I try to delete it with WinRAR, 7-Zip and Wise Force Deleter. Please help me get rid of this cursed file ;-;

Please some one help me to recover my files. I just install my old laptop hard disk to my pc and after install I just format my old laptop HDD c drive and every hidden files (excel, Videos, image) showing locked on that drive and showing this error code 0x80071771. I tried google and I also follow that Blog post I tried there every methods still not working. Please Some one help, And What If I reset my pc it can help?

Yes as it says would using my ssd just for the page file so it can be anything from 1mb to 250GB. My main SSD is same ssd same size but since cod mw is to big and I see really any benafit using a standerd HDD since it only needs to load my game it will be fine? it's 1 16TB Iron Wolf as storage and 10tb WD black as main storage and games.

I switched to windows 10 yesterday and today it updated, I had 10gigs of free storage on local disk c, now i only got 2.5, i selected all the folders and checked their propeties isn't it supposed to have a bit more space?

Okay...I was utterly stupid a long time ago and reinstalled windows 11 (was doing a clean slate thing) without backing up the recovered file. I found a way to recover said file via an official file recovery tool from Microsoft. So, I received the file and of course it is broken. I expected that to be honest. The revelation I had was that when I opened up in a notepad or notepad++ it showed up with code, broken obviously. It seems like I can fix this issue, but that is very slim to none. Sadly, it is in a proprietary format of Musescore3. I'm asking here first because this is the first forum I think of when it comes to tech problems. I don't expect much because it's a recovered file after a reinstall of Windows 11. If all I am doing seems like the wrong place to put my inquiry here, please direct me to a more suitable forum (e.g.coding forums). This file is important to me. Yes, I'm a new account on this website. I technically had an old account on here, but it was deleted when I deleted my facebook a long time ago. I'm looking to see if someone would know how to change the default function of the file-dragging feature. While holding a file over a different directory, you can drop it like that to "MOVE" the file to that directory, pressing and holding "shift" allows you to "COPY" the file to that directory. When moving files from one drive to another drive on the PC, it changes from "MOVE" to "Copy" for the default drop feature. I would like to know how to change the default drop feature "COPY" replaced with "MOVE". I move files more than copy, and with a chunky racing wheel strapped to my desk, reaching over every time to hold shift can be a pain at times. Windows 10 Home, OS build 19045.2364

Hello everyone, this is my first post and I am not shure whether everything is correct, please correct me, if there is anything to improve. Now I have a problem. I want to recycle my PC as a server. The specs are listed down below. Thing is I know exactly what it has to do, but not how to achieve it. This is where you guys hopefully can help me. It definitely has to be usable with MacOS, should be cheap (I started studying so money is a factor) and only to be used via WiFi. To be totally clear, I don't have access to a cable, only to a wireless connection. Function wise I need it to be usable as a file server and maybe as a password manager or as a virtual PC. Hey People of the Forum I am planing to make my first file server well this is not really my first but the first one I am building from ground up, and I am not to sure what I am gonna to need I have used old system as basic file server but now I have to re start all my computer thing but properly this time the reason being I had a house fire a year ago and lost all my computer stuff so let get to what I would like it to do basically I want 20tb of usable space and be able to lose a drive or 2 speed is also a big thing I want to be using it for system files as well (program data appdata user stuff like that) 1g networking. So what am I really asking well I don't know what drives to use or a mobo CPU combo that will get the job done I done need a LTT server with 200 cores and 2000tb ram and stuff like that. Thanks -

I try to read every part of the line into different arrays. For the date and time(20190326-0700) first i used a string[13] array, but in a later task i had to use only the date part of it, so i had to make it a longint of array, with seperating the date and time. I used longint for the date part of it, a char for the '-' mark, and a string[4] for the time. But after that, it compiles, but when I try to run it I get Runtime Error 106(non-numeric value is read from a text file, and a numeric value was expected). Maybe the way i try to read it parts is messed up already. If thats the case, can anyone recommend me another way, to make it posibble. I have to use arrays, and it would be too much hassle to make new types, because the time for the exam is kinda short. Thank for any help in advance! Ps.: Oh, and sorry for the strange array names. They make sense in my language.

I can't "run" a .bat file. when i double tap it this comes up: (Sorry for it bein in norwegian) It translates in to: "You need a new app to open this .bat file". And next to the windows store icon it says: "Search for an app in the microsft store". I don't know what i did to trigger this. I noticed it today. In the standard apps window it shows this: Where it says "fil" it's norwegian for "file"
