Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Hey! I have a parts list that I have been working on for about a month. I would like some constructed feedback on the build list and any potential modifications required. I will be doing some mid preformance games like Minecraft. I will also be running some audio programs such as OBS and Adobe suite, and persuing my cybersecurity interests with Wireshark and VMware. I would appreciate any advice and feedback on this build. Thank you! I rely on captions to consume content on YouTube. Floatplane becomes completely unusable without captions. Is there any plan to integrate captions into floatplane or anyway to enable them currently?

I just wanted to submit feedback on the signup page font size of the terms. I find the size of the fineprint unnecessarily small. The term of the signup should NOT be this hard to read on a 24" 1080p monitor. We all hate it in car ads. Please make sure this stuff is readable in the future. Thanks

Budget (including currency): $900 to $1100 Country: USA Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Blender, Minecraft, Roblox Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): 1080p 60Hz Hi All, I have chosen parts for a build for a friend, and I just want a second opinion. I have 2 builds at 2 price points. NOTES: He plays only Minecraft and Roblox, which are low demand games, so as a result I have chosen the RX 6650XT, which will do great for 1080p at Ultra. He also does a lot of Blender work, so I wanted to get him a machine that could do fast CPU renders (as apperantly you can choose CPU or GPU) I chose to go overboard on the CPU because 200 or 300 bucks should give more horsepower on the CPU than on the GPU. This entire thought process may be wrong though, so that is why I am seeking a second opinion. $900: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/ZKGnTY $1100: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/LgN2Fs Thanks!

Dear Floatplane team, I would love if you would enable subscriptions through App Store on iOS. Yes, I understand that you would have to add 30% on top of your regular price to compensate for Apple’s cut, but that’s okay. Here in Sweden they’ve changed the laws/rules so that nowadays my payment card expires every year instead of every fourth year. When you have a busy life and have 20+ subscriptions, running around and updating the card everywhere is not reasonable. Having all subscriptions through App Store therefore provides a peach of mind and a less stressful life. Giving users more payment options is (probably) always a good thing. Thank you for reading my suggestion, I appreciate you and look forward to future Floatplane updates. Best Regards, Filip

Budget: usd $1500. Country: Nicaragua (a very very hot and humid country in central america). Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: work related: VS code, Remote Desktop connection, many tabs open in chrome. For gaming: Valorant, LoL, Fall Guys. Other details: I'm coming from a Dell G3 laptop with an i5 8gen, 8GB of RAM and a Geforce GTX 1050 Ti 4GB. I already have peripherals and a Monitor (27' 144Hz 1440p). I might buy another monitor at a later date. I just want to play at 1440p at 100+ fps refreshing at 120Hz minimum. Aesthetics and RGB are very important. Finally I'll leave the build I have put together on pcpartpicker. The idea is to build this pc in the following 3 months. Appreciate the help in advance.

i was in a discord call with people and they said they heard everything that was playing through my computer including their voices even when i went on mute, i've been looking up things on the internet of how to fix this issue for over 2 hours and i haven't found a fix. i checked to see if i needed to update my drivers/ sound drivers, looked to see if the "listen to this device" was checked on sound manager, i've seen something about stereo mix but that's not on my computer for some reason and idk how to get it, but i need some help because i honestly have no idea what to do except the last thing which is reset my whole computer.. any ideas?

Budget (including currency): £2500 -ish Country: UK Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: New triple A titles etc Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Aiming to use the system for high end gaming at 1440p, but trying to kind of future proof for 4k, im currently on an old alienware system (yeah I know), with an EVGA 1070 so, this would be quite a leap up I think Case: Corsair 4000D CPU: I9-11900K (Free upgrade from i7-1100KF) CPU Cooler: MSI Coreliquid 240R Motherboard: MSI MAG Z590 Tomahawk RAM: 16GB of Corsair DDR4/3600mhz GPU: MSI 3080 PSU: MSI MPG A850GF (850W) Storage: Samsung 970 EVO 1TB M.2 (Plus older hard drives + 500GB SSD from existing rig) Any general feedback or suggestions would be greatly appreciated, also am I right in thinking that if I got 4x Cooler Master MF120 ARGB case fans, I could hook them up to the Motherboard without needing any other kit? Thanks guys!

After 4ish years iv decided to upgrade from my old PC, but im reusing my GPU, RAM, and old m.2 3rd.gen nvme bootdrive. This is my New build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pQ27Dc I wanted to have some some very quick storage for various games, etc. Then some decent storage in Raid 1 for pictures, documents, etc. I didnt necessarily need 2 m.2 1TB but.. why the hell not. Not really sure which one to use as a bootdrive. Thinking in the sense thatd ill be able to have more games on a faster drive. Overall im really just trying to get some feedback on what iv put together so far and some pointers. Thanks guys

Budget (including currency): Not necessary Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Streaming Valorant Heya everyone! This is my planned build, which I hope to get some feedback on. I plan to push 200fps on low settings on valorant, whilst streaming. https://pcpartpicker.com/user/Mr-G-Man/saved/M3DRK8 I've heard something about a BSOD while booting on this motherboard (Asus TUF X570), something about the WIFI drivers. Will that be an issue? Also, even though valorant is an easy to run game, do you guys think I'll be able to push 200+fps whilst streaming? Anyway, sorry for the semi long request. Cheers to anyone in advance for replying!

Budget (including currency): 9000 AUD Country: Australia Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA, Virtualisation Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): https://au.pcpartpicker.com/list/3fytfP my current setup includes 3 x 1440 IPS 144hz Gigabyte Monitors And an old Ryzen 5 1070 build which is quite dated. Looking for some guidance and critiques of my parts selection. It’s definitely way more than I needed, however, the part list already details the parts I have purchased. I could have saved some more money here and there but honestly just grabbed some of these parts while they’re available. I was interested in purchasing a 3090 however really struggled in Aus to find anything in stock and after some reviews settled with a 6900XT that is still definitely more than I need. I have 12 Noctua fans that are quite old due to lack of cleaning on my last build however purchased some new ones to a total of 12 including old. not looking to over clock too much what I have already purchased is definitely more than I need. Not a massive fan of RGB, so in hind sight wish I looked at getting the air variant case as the dynamic is more suited for a water cooled system in which I’m only using an AIO. Unsure about memory, heard that around 3600mhz is the sweet spot? also concerned on motherboard having enough fan headers and USB headers for case io (USB-c)? currently away from home due to COVID and have shipped all the parts to home to be built when I get home hopefully before the new year. any criticisms or feedback? Hurdles you can foresee? cheers

This whole thing was (probably) due to some technical issues, I didn't see the video on FP at all, until some ten minutes ago, it's slighty redundant now, but if you want to read it, read it. What remains, for me at least, is some sort of explaination for the release schedule, on YT/FP. I haven't found an official answer to this, all I've seen is people complaining. If you found said needle in the haystack, please let me know.

Hello I am a current 1st year college student in the UK and I have come on here for some feedback on my Web Design Assignment. Don't worry, I'm not going to link to some dodgy free-host, instead just check below for an image attachment of the website because that's it all it is. It's just a simple one page website with nothing too fancy. I more just wanna get feedback on the design and everything like that over like someone telling me that I could've used React or something like that. The assignment specified RAW HTML with no use of something like React or Vue. It's my first website design from scratch and I did it all in about 5-6 hours and I just want to know how it looks. I can put it on a free host if that's what you'd prefer but I cannot upload it to somewhere like Github due to how my assignment works. None of the information on the website is actually true and is all just made up for a made up company that we had to base our assignment off of. Any feedback would be appreciated! Many Thanks P.S. It might help opening the image in a separate tab as it's just a full page screenshot of the website.

newbuid Feedback on my build (flexible budget)
Quinten Verhelst posted a topic in New Builds and Planning
Budget (including currency): € 1000 - € 2000 (VAT / BTW incl.) Country: BE (Items must be bought at alternate.be) Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Sysadmin PC (Vm's, containers, programming etc...) Also light gaming (Gamestream to Shield Pro) Any feedback on this setup? I'm keeping my STRIX 1060 6GB for the moment since I cannot get my hands on any nvidia gpu. (I need gamestream). I will be swapping that out with a RTX 3060Ti or 3070 when prices come down and they are restocked. -
Budget (including currency): Country: US Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: AAA games + competitive FPS Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Here is the pcpartpicker link: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/jW2Ctn I want to be able to play most AAA games at 1440p 144hz highest setting. I've been using a gaming laptop (1660 Ti) for 2 years now and the gpu is not keeping up with newer titles. I've always wanted a PC, now that prices have gone down, I decided to go for it. I don't know if I should wait for RDNA 3 gpus or just build this system now. I have no doubt the next gen amd gpus will be incredible, I'm just worried that the price will be too high/no stock. That plus the fact that I've been wanting a PC for a really long time made me want to build one now. As for the build, I think it's a bit expensive due to the motherboard and cooler selection. I only chose that cooler because I love to display gifs on the small screen. And the mobo selection is because amazon has the option to pay over 5 months so it's easier on the upfront cost. I'm doing the same payment plan with the gpu and cooler. Total: around 1000 upfront and 800 over 5 months. I would appreciate any feedback! Thanks a lot.
