Good Day Currently i am playing Far Cry 4 again and i am noticing that the framerate isnt admireable. When the game is set to high i get around 40-50 fps but on ultra it sits at about 30-40fps and dips regularly under 30 i tried unparking the cpu and setting the priority of the process to high it just feels odd that my rig cant play far cry 4 smoothly i am noticing through after burner that the gpu isnt really doing anything and task manager tells me that far cry 4 is using around 45% cpu nvidia stuff is turned off and im not using any antialiasing Specs: CPU:8320@5ghz GPU:RX 480 strix variant 8GB 1600mhz ram Thanks in advance and i apologise for my english

Hey all, I decided to play through FarCary 4 again as it is such a great game and I was craving this kind of gameplay. My problem is, is the game will drop to 36 FPS fairly often (exactly half of my 72 FPS limiter) and I am not sure why. I do not see how to de-limit the frames in game, so I keep it at the max, 72. Specs: Cpu: Ryzen 3 2200g oc'ed to 3.85 Gpu: Gtx 1060 6gb slightly oc'ed Ram: 8gb ddr4 3000mhz I have played with gsync settings and tripple buffering and no combination seems to change this. I find it pretty suspicious that it cuts my max frames In half and stays there for a while when it decides to. I feel that this happens after a mission has been completed and I get some ui interfering, but it then lingers and I cannot figure out why. What do you guys think? Thanks!

hi. i bought a amd a10 7850k cpu . On packaging it says it has 12 cores . 4 core CPU and 8core GPU. so what does it mean?. can i use 8 GPU cores to play far cry 4 or some other games? my motherboard is Asus A88XM-A , Corsair Vengance 1600Mhz DDR3 ram , SAMSUNG EVO SSD AND 1 TB HDD. I dont have a graphic card. i tried playing far cry 4 but it lags. very low frame rate on low settings.

Hey LTT community. I needed a little bit of help regarding Far Cry 4. I installed the game for the first time from Steam, connected with Uplay, started for the very first time and the campaign starts very differently. I move a little bit and my WASD stops responding. I can still use the keyboard and use other keys, but WASD won't work. Even a little help would be appreciated. PFA the video of the same. Colours are distorted after upgrading to windows 10 for Farcry 4 and for Farcry 3 also. My other non ubisoft games are fine. So last year i bought FarCry 3 during the summer sale but i didnt enjoy it very much to my surprise. I had already watched a entire walkthough which might be the cause or it might be cause of all the great reviews i read that led to my disappointment. But now FarCry 4 is on sale and the question is like the title. I once again didnt see myself buying the game so i watched a walkthrough and read reviews. So should i buy it for 29,99€? Some info about me. Its kinda weird what games appeal to me or not. I find games with humor kinda boring as i dont laugh at them. Watched a saints row 4 walkthrough to the end and i didnt laugh during all the 30 episodes. Im a completionist which ruins some games for me as my brain tells me "LOOK UNDER EVERY SINGLE F***ING ROCK AND TAKE WHATEVER YOU FIND" even though i dont enjoy it and it ruins the pacing of the game but i still cant help myself. I both love and hate open world games in the aspect. (that is why i didnt buy skyrim im afraid ill lose my youth completing the game). I dont have fun doing ordinary "gta stuff" like murders sprees, trolling or fucking around, it just feels pointless to me. So buy or not to buy?

So not sure if this is a well known fact or not but I booted up Farcry 4 and tabbed out because the start sequence is super long and I haven't made a save yet for reasons... anyway I came back expecting to be just standing in that oriental house place but instead I was in a shrine where all I had to do was place mothers ashes next to some girls ashes got back in the chopper with the bad guy and then the credits rolled and the game was finished. not sure what happened between that but I do know you get in a chopper with bad guy as I reloaded last checkpoint and that's where I was.

Will a Sappire R9 280 be able to run Far Cry 4, at decent frame rates and at what settings ? nVidia fanboys fuck outta here, if you just want to hate

Hello together, my problem is all about uplay: Yesterday I bought a FarCry 4 Uplay key and started downloading the game. I pay for 50Mbit Downstream and usually get 5,5 MB/s max when using Steam. Starting the Download results in Uplay getting 120-150 kb/s(!) which would take 1400 hour to download FC4. I restartet my PC and router several times, run speedtests and so on. Furthermore when stopping the download via Uplay without restarting anything my overall Internetspeed is set to a download speed of 500-600kb/s. Every time I reboot router, PC and modem, the initial download speed in Uplay and elsewhere is around 5.5 up to 6 MB/s. After a short amount of time the whole network is slowed down heavily, resulting in 500 kb/s max downstream. Even the network printer is not able to print a black and white 30 page document within 30 Minutes via WLAN. System: Win 7 Ultimate 64bit, i7 3820QM, 16GB RAM, Killer Wireless-N 1102 WLAN Adapter, TP Link Archer C7 (AC1750 Wireless Dual Band Gigabit Router) The attached files show the download menu and the slowest connection my provider can possibly offer when having a bad day. I really have no idea how to solve the problem and I have to admit that I am not very good with networks, proxys and so on. Some feedback would be really nice! Everyone knows that the intense, advanced modern games of today require huge amounts of processing power in order to offer the incredible, immersive and cinematic gameplay experiences that they offer. If you didn't realise when I said 'cinematic', that was satire. This is a guide I'm making to show that FarCry 4 can be run on a dual core system with more than sufficient performance that offers a good gameplay experience. The first step in this process is to get the game working. In order to do this you'll need to inject a .dll into the FC4 executable when it starts. I'll link all files at the bottom of this post. Now, with the files you have downloaded and unzipped,you should see this: Run the 'Extreme Injector V3' executable. If it isn't already, you'll need to organise the .dll files in this order specifically, which you can do by adding and removing them: Then, just run FarCry 4 and hit 'Inject' the moment you start it. You need to do it while the splash screen is still up, otherwise it might not work. Once it works, the game should be running! Woo! Now, for the performance numbers I get on my PC, which I would consider a mid-to-low spec system. As a forenote, I did consider using Fraps, but decided against it and just kept an eye on my numbers as I played as to give general, but more realistic numbers. My specs: CPU: Penitum G3258 @ 4.4ghz GPU: Asus GTX 760 DCUII OC @ Stock (Not a good OC'er) I'm also using a 1080p monitor (Asus VE248H) For the different scenarios, I just looked at a wall for 'looking at a wall', then I ran in circles and jumped around a small outpost for 'Running around', and for 'In a firefight' I ran into an enemy outpost and went full retard with an assault rifle. I also didn't test the high and very-high settings as I didn't think it was really worth it. I don't think there's enough of a difference between med, high and very-high to worry about it. Low: (Game looks like absolute ass, no AA, near no shadows.) -Looking at a wall: About 61-62 -Running around: Mostly high 40's (Pretty much the same as med settings.) -In a firefight: Mid 40's. Med: (looks alright now, still no AA) -Looking at a wall: High 50's -Running around: Around 50, down to mid 40's. -In a firefight: High 30's to low 40's. Ultra: (Looks darker and more bland, plus the HBAO+ contrast is too damn high.) -Looking at a wall: Low to mid 50's -Running around: Average around the 40's, dips down to mid 30's. -In a firefight: 30's with the occasional dip into 20's. So, it seems that as you increase in quality, the max fps lowers by a few fps, but the amount that the fps dips during more intense scenes increases substantially.
