does anyone know a far cry 3 save bug fix????? i thought of playing it again. I played it to a certain part then this problem came. Every time i restart i have to start from a new game.

Why is it that every year Ubisoft manages to do this thing where "Your polygons just got sharper, but the rest is garbage" bullshit they pull out of the depths of their assholes. look the screenshots here, Far Cry 3 looks slightly satisfying with no AA, while FC5 can't go without it. Anyway to fix this, TAA doesn't work well in this game (unlike Battlefield 1's TAA) and it makes grass look very blurry. I heard about some drivers that can help out with third part AA. An R9 390 is my GPU. I know some may argue that FC5 has more details so that's why it's more prone to jagged lines, but it's not true, it is less sharp, even less so than FC4. Also this problem is much like Watch Dogs 2 as well.

I just started playing Far Cry 3 (again) on my laptop (Win7 64bit, i5 4th gen, 2GB RAM, Intel integrated graphics) on low settings. But the audio stopped as soon as the opening scene got over-the one with the parachutes and all. As soon as the guy pulls the phone/tablet away the audio stops, and npo subtitles are seen. The characters' lips move, but no sound. There are NO IN GAME SOUNDS, NO BACKGROUND NOISE, FOOTSTEPS OR ANYTHING. All help is appreciated. And yes. The game does run at a good 45-50 FPS, and with no lags or stutters and is fairly smooth and playable. But no audio whatsoever. PLEASE HELP.

I got into far cry 2 recently , at first I was skeptical of the survival systems like weapon degradation and malaria but after a while I actually started to like it and now I'm hooked. But there are some aspects of the game that I don't like such as the mission structure , commonality of outposts in the middle of the road , plain world with little elevation , e.t.c. So I was thinking of going back to fc3/4 and just install a weapon degradation mod , i'm sure there is one . . . AAAAAND NOPE. I couldn't find anything on the Nexus or any forum . . . is anyone aware of such a mod ? I know that most people didn't like the idea of weapons breaking in your hands in the middle of a fire fight but I think it encourages more reserved tactics and less ramboing all over the place . There must be SOMEONE who agrees . . . right ?

Got some duplicate codes from the latest humble bundle, Far Cry 3 and Rayman Origins for Uplay. There are 2 numbers from 1 to 100 that will allow you to pick a game (first come first serve), you can only pick 2 numbers for now (will expand to 5 if nobody gets it, the first 2 count). You can guess the numbers I guess, but if youve read some good fantasy you know: The number that is the reason the earth was build - 42 from hitchiker guide to the galaxy The number no wizard in their right mind may speak - 8 from Diskworld The hints are anti google phrased, so dont even try good luck Edit: everybody got 5 tries now Edit: all keys gone, good luck next time

My computer is built a few weeks ago. the problem just is that it plays indy titles as a charm, but after i load up far cry 3 there is going a couple off minuttes at it shuts of my pc\s tempt is about 30C when starting up far cry 3. I don't think it's a right because normally it's 50/60 when playing BF4, Hope someone can help me out.

Hi guys, I got the current humble bundle including Far Cry 3 and Far Cry 3 Blooddragon. The key provided is for uPlay. I played some of the other games and they work but neither of the two will work for me. I keep get the little pop-up but after that I get a Windows troubleshooting pop-up. Which of course does nothing ^^. I tried this: Crashing At Startup Far Cry 3 Blooddragon Steamcommunity It seemed like exactly my problem. However I couldn't get it to work. My system: CPU: AMD A10-7850k GPU: GTX 970 from Zotac (with the newest drivers: Version 361.75) RAM: 16GB (obviously DDR3) OS: 64-Bit Windows 10 Home My friend has got a similiar system only with the Gigabyte Windforce 970 and an i7-4770k. He has got the games a bit longer already. Like a year or two. They work on his system. Thanks! Also Assassin's Creed Unity crashes, too. But it crashes later after the GeForce logo. Also I guess it's just Unity...

Hi guys, Recently bought used asus r9 280x to replace my previous card. First thing I did is run it through some benchmarks - furmark, unigine heaven and valley. All went fine, no issues at all. Then I decided to give it a chance in far cry 3 - which was quite playable with my previous gtx 650 ti boost on high settings - around 50-55 fps. And it turned out that r9 280x gave me about 30 fps on ultra settings, also artifacts in the sky once you get in a car and occasional tearing no matter you inside vehicle or not. And finally the strangest thing is that in far cry 4 - r9 280x gives me around 55-60 fps on ultra settings... I'd be much appreciated for any help. The config is: i5-3570 ASRock H77M 16GB DDR3-1600 Geil Intel SSD 520 240GB ASUS R9280X-DC2T-3GD5 Xigmatek XCP-a500

So last year i bought FarCry 3 during the summer sale but i didnt enjoy it very much to my surprise. I had already watched a entire walkthough which might be the cause or it might be cause of all the great reviews i read that led to my disappointment. But now FarCry 4 is on sale and the question is like the title. I once again didnt see myself buying the game so i watched a walkthrough and read reviews. So should i buy it for 29,99€? Some info about me. Its kinda weird what games appeal to me or not. I find games with humor kinda boring as i dont laugh at them. Watched a saints row 4 walkthrough to the end and i didnt laugh during all the 30 episodes. Im a completionist which ruins some games for me as my brain tells me "LOOK UNDER EVERY SINGLE F***ING ROCK AND TAKE WHATEVER YOU FIND" even though i dont enjoy it and it ruins the pacing of the game but i still cant help myself. I both love and hate open world games in the aspect. (that is why i didnt buy skyrim im afraid ill lose my youth completing the game). I dont have fun doing ordinary "gta stuff" like murders sprees, trolling or fucking around, it just feels pointless to me. So buy or not to buy?

Hello guys and gals, I have a low FPS (for my setup) problem on BF4. My setup (see below) should be getting 120+ fps, with dips into the 100s on BF4 on max settings at 1080p with 2X MSAA. Problem is I get about 80-90 fps with dips into the 60s which is about the same that I got with one GTX 970. Same thing went for Far Cry 3 with max settings except with 2X MSAA and no FXAA. I looked at my GPU usage and the GPU usage for both cards in SLI were around 60%. This is bothering me because, I didn't pay $700 to use 60% of my cards. I think it could be a bad NVidia SLI profile. It also could be a motherboard? Z87 seems to not work well with Devil's Canyon. People with similar setups on FPS videos on YouTube are getting much higher FPS than I am. Benchmarks are getting much better FPS than I am. Lastly, when I restart my computer, my computer black screens. So when I want to restart, I have to hold the button and then turn on the computer again. So I am reaching out to see if I can get some good input here and hopefully this can help someone else out in the future. What I tried to help the problem 1) Clean Install of Windows 8.1 2) Used all recommended profiles with Nvidia Inspector 3) Updated my Drivers 4) Checked temperatures. All were below 60C 5) Went into Nvidia Control Panel and checked Max Power Usage, Max Frames Rendered 1, Threaded Optimization on, V Sync Off and Single Display mode. 6) Tried new SLI bridge 7) Unparked Cores 8) OCed GPU slightly Specs CPU: Intel i7 4790k @ Stock with Turbo up to 4.4 GHz. Cooled with Corsair H105 with FM121's in Push Pull on High settings. GPU 2X MSI GTX 970 Gaming Motherboard: MSI Gaming Z87-G45 PSU: EVGA Super Nova 1300 Watt Gold Memory: Corsair Vengence 8 GB 1600 Mhz Black OS: Windows 8.1 64 bit HDD(s) 1 TB WD Blue 500 GB WD Blue 240 GB Kingston SSD Now Case: Cooler Master HAF 932

So i wanted to do some small overclocking on my Sapphire Vapor-X R9 280x 3GB... At stock speeds its: Core Voltage: 1050mhz Core Clock: 1000mhz Memory Clock: 1500mhz I tried overclocking it till C.Clock at 1050mhz and the memory clock at 1050mhz without changing the voltage... And in some games like Dota 2 and Far Cry 3 they only work for some seconds and freeze... The game works in the background and you can hear the sound and the commands you make but the image stays still. Any tips on overclocking or solving the problem..?? Sorry posting from phone..

So, maybe, those (including me) who play Far Cry 3 have encountered a problem where you can't walk in to a room (ex.: Gun Shop, where you can't enter the door properly) or walk up stairs, (ex.: Radio Tower where you can't move up on the first stair) you get stuck and can't move forward. (sorry if you don't understand this part, my english is bad). So the problem just happens if you change the FOV ABOVE THE DEFAULT. And lets be serious the FOV in FC3 at 70 looks silly... At least 90... I know this is outdated, and that my english isn't the best but its annoying to no be able to enter a door or walk up a stair without needing to jump. PS: If you don't understand what I want to explain just reply and ill try my best to explain.

I recently just installed Far Cry 3 about 3 days ago on my computer, and every time I have started the game, I was getting 60 FPS on ultra settings. However, when I launched the game tonight, it was hovering at around 30-45 FPS without me changing any settings for anything. I have actually had this same experience with games before. Like with Bioshock Infinite, some of the time the game would be running beautifully at 60 FPS when I started it, but at other times, it would run around 20-30 FPS. Would anyone happen to know what is going on? Also, my 770 is NOT overclocked. Hey guys, I just got two new monitors today, and I am now running Nvidia Surround on 3 monitors. However, I went to adjust the FOV slider in the graphics options, but the slider is locked at 90... Far Cry is the only game doing this...Help?

I just finished playing Far Cry 3, what a great game! Really cinematic and a positively epic ending (I chose to save the friends). I just thought it was a really sad ending though, why couldn't Citra accept any of Jason's friends yet treated Jason like a god? Also I didn't get why Jason didn't go home with his friends. That's what I wanted to happen. Yeah I really don't like Citra. Oh yeah another thing what is up with the weird tripping stabbing of all the bad guys? Is Jason high? Are they all actually dead? I don't get it... Anyway, fabulous game 10/10 would play again.

Hey, I do not know if i posted this in the right category but whatever, I tried installing far cry 3 on my brothers computer through steam and when it was done and i launched it the following error appeared: C windows system 32 D3D complier.dll is either not designed to run on windows or contains an error. i tried verifying the game cache, and google doesnt feel like responding.

So I build my first computer a few months back and I'm new to this troubleshooting thing, so I'll just explain my problem: My computer randomly freezes when playing games. It has happened in Just Cause 2 (max settings, dunno if that matters) and more frequently in Far Cry 3 (also max). When it freezes a loud buzzing noise comes through my headphones for about 5 seconds. The only option is to restart my pc. I havent had a FC3 play session without the game freezing. Sometimes I can play an hour without it freezing, sometimes it already happends within the first minute of playing. I don't think it has ever happened in BF3 At first I thought it was overheating, but I dont think thats the case: This is when it froze with MSI Afterburner running (GPU: 72% 82C 72% Fan 38.4 FPS CPU 49.8) If someone knows how I can find out what the problem is, that would be amazing. Hi I was just wanted to see if anyone has had this issue as well, my brothers Lenovo Y580 can run Far Cry 3 on Ultra no problem, but when he boot Blood Dragon it lags like crazy. If I am certain isn't FC3 BD supposed to be less intensive on your system? Could this be a bad install file ??, or maybe a Nvida driver that is corrupt? would love to hear some personal experiences, or fixes please -
Hey guys, my brother just got all the parts for his new system and I've been helping him put it all together. The build was fun and the system sprung to life immediately the first time we hit the power button. There's one major issue though, and that is the GPU. He bought an R9 280X from ASUS, the DirectCU II model. For some reason they sent him an older rev.1 triple-slot-model, I don't think that matters though. The problem is that the thing is getting him insanely low fps in FC3. We havn't been able to try any other games yet, but he's getting an average of maybe 19-25 fps at 1080p and at ultra settings. Another weird thing is that he gets about the same fps when playing the game at 720p with low settings. I updated the drivers to the newest beta drivers, downgraded them to the ones that came on the CD again, nothing helps, it doesn't seem to be the drivers. Unigine Heaven runs at normal speed though, which makes me think it may not be the graphics card after all. Does anybody have any idea how to fix this? The system is: i5 4670 R9 280X 8GB 1600 mhz DDR3 120 GB Samsung 840 EVO SSD Gigabyte H87M-D3H PS: the card is running at around 60°C under load, I don't think it's throttling or anything.

So my problem is that whenever I start to play a graphically intensive games for example Skyrim on ultra with 2k textures, Sniper Elite v2 (high/ultra settings), Farcry 3 (high/ultra settings), I have this problem that just keeps happening. So when i'm playing my game seems to just stop but certain sounds keep looping for example (ambiance/background sounds in Skyrim/Sniper Elite v2) and then my monitor tells me that i'm receiving no signal from my GPU. Whenever this happens I have to power off my computer and try again. My CPU is a 4670k at 4.3k and under prime95 my temps are around the low 60's in (Fahrenheit), the odd thing my GPU temmp does get to the 80's whenever I check the temps while i'm gaming. So yeah can anyone help me out, thanks -
So I really really don't like Uplay and I have 2 codes for Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon and I would like to trade those for one Far Cry 3 Blood Dragon on Steam. Any takers?
