Are there community mods for Fallout #4 that make dialogs in it and choices coming out from picking them more profound? I have finished the game without being everywhere and seeing everything and want to play it again - but I wish it would contain more choices like during the e.g. The Big Dig quest from Goodneighboor when the player character is given the choice to persuade Bobbi to leave and surrender or when deciding to kill or not the leader of Triggermen Paul Pembroke during the Trouble Brewin' in Diamond City. In previous installments it was a core element of the game: you make choices when talking and have to deal with various consequences - but in F#4 I only encountered a handful of such situations; which is plain disappointing I heard that they are fractions in Nuka-World and Far Harbor - but does siding with them have from the get go as profound impact as when during the final hours of a my ~200 gameplay when I got to experience what I was hoping for, when I had to take sides between Brotherhood Of Steel, the Institute and The Railroad?

I have searched for a mod or a console command to make them have less HP and / or less powerful weapons. but the only thing I found are two mods concerning sneaking Is there a way to experience the game with their input [voiced remarks and quests] but stop them from killing most of the opponents I engage in battles? I am playing for the first time, on the very hard difficulty level and being currently at level 10 and with a second companion- but I can already see how just plan ridiculously they kill off so easily my enemies. What is the point of sneaking, leveling with combat perks and taking drugs while risking having a chance of becoming an addict, if I can just hide in a room and wait out? Most of the time I want to engage in a battle but companion just robs me of most of the fun and experience points

Hi everybody, I've got a question for y'all. Does anybody have any ideas as to why my GTX 1070 isn't being fully utilized in Fallout 4, despite the fact that the game is running well below its FPS cap of 60 (due to Vsync on my 60hz monitor)? My apologies for the rather long post, I wanted to make sure I included every piece of information that I thought could possibly be relevant. If I did miss anything that y'all need to know, just let me know and I'll come back and add it in. Notes: Game settings are basically maxed out, with a few exceptions for stuff I either don't like or don't find makes enough of a difference to warrant the potential performance hit. I am running 23 different mods on the game with ModOrganizer2 from Nexus Mods, but this problem also occurs with no mods enabled. This happens both at stock speeds and while overclocked with Afterburner (112% power limit, 85C temp limit, software defined fan curve, automatic "OC Scanner" curve overclock on the GPU core, and +200MHz on the memory). The data I have from last night's gaming session is with the OC applied, I can gather data from stock speed operation if that is necessary. I know that the card is not thermal throttling, as my software fan curve has it peaking at 65C in-game, and normally hovering right around 57C. The max temp it got to during a 3hr FO4 session last night was 61.2C with a hotspot of 72.2C, and that's with my OC applied. I also don't think my i7-3770 CPU is holding it back (although I could be wrong), as I don't ever see full utilization of any of the 8 threads while playing FO4, even while running Steam, Task Manager, HWINFO, Afterburner, Discord (on voice but not streaming or watching a stream, and nobody had their cameras on), and Firefox with a few tabs open all in the background or on other displays. I do have and use Winaero Tweaker (version 1.33.0.0), I have used it to: Disable Telemetry Disable Edge prelaunching and Edge tab preloading Disable the Windows Ink workspace Disable Cortana Tell Windows to keep the thumbnail cache on a restart or shutdown Disable Timeline Disable Power Throttling Make the taskbar clock show seconds Disable driver updates (since Windows decided to disrespect my group policy that forbade it from doing anything with drivers without direct permission!) So I’ve had my new computer for about a month or so now and it plays all games just fine, except Fallout 4. Every 5-10 minutes I’ll get a bad lag spike that lasts about 3-5 seconds and goes down to 0 fps, then returns to normal. I have framerate capped at 1/2 my refresh (144hz monitor so 72fps cap). I’ve triedcapping it at 60fps, 30fps and 144fps and nothing seems to fix it. Specs are: AsRock X570 Taichi (latest bios) Ryzen 9 3900X Corsair h100i v2 (temps never go over 70C) GTX 1080 ti EVGA SuperNova 750W Platinum 32GB (2 x 16GB) G.Skill TridentZ Neo (samsung b-die) 3600MHz Seagate IronWolf 4TB HDD 7200RPM Samsung 970 EVO (256GB NVME) Windows 10 Pro (1909) x64 Is there an ini tweak i’m missing? Looking on my second monitor CPU usage that is utilized by the game drops to 0% during the lag and then goes back to normal utilization. GPU utilization hovers in the 32-51% range the whole time. I know there’s nothing wrong with the PC as that is the only game that has bad stutter like that. If I had to guess maybe its when the game is loading a new chunk and its moving the load across chiplets for some reason? My old rig never gad performance like that (i7-5775C overclocked to 4.5GHz, GTX 1080 and 32GB of DDR3 2400MHz). I also am running the Ryzen High Performance power plan and several mods (no script mods or anything like that) it also does it on a fresh install with no mods. God Rays at Ultra vs Off makes no difference, weapon debris are also disabled. Also tried limiting it to 4 threads, 8 threads, 12 threads, 16 threads and all 24 threads. Does Fallout 4 just not play nice with Ryzen, or does someone have any optimization ideas?

Hi I recently bought fallout 4 with all it's dlc and after the download I launched the fallout 4 launcher, I said something along the lines of: high quality settings chosen. I thought okay and hit "PLAY" my screen then turn black for a split second and then I was back at my steam library as if nothing happened. I have: restarted my PC several times, Updated windows with windows update, Updated driver for my GPU and searched google and youtube without any answers for my problem. specs: Operating system: Windows 10 home 64bit CPU: Intel core i5-4690 3.50ghz Ram: 2x HyperX Fury 1866mhz 2x4gb GPU: Asus Geforce gtx 1060 6gb Motherboard Z97S sli krait edition (ms-7922) Fallout 4 is the latest update on steam. If there is any other relevant information that I'd wanna know please say so in a comment.

I'm planning to build a PC for 3d printing, web development, and at the minimum running fallout 4, is this build suited for those? CPU: AMD A10-7890K 4.1GHz Quad-Core Processor RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro 32GB (4 x 8GB) DDR3-2400 Memory Mobo: Asus A88XM-A Micro ATX FM2+ Motherboard Graphics Card: MSI Radeon R7 250 2GB Video Card <- I looked at forums and it's said that this card will work perfectly without bottlenecks with the APU. My budget must not exceed $1000 Cheers!

So i wanted to play some fallout 4 today but i was frustrated by the crappy performance of the game. I started to investigate why it was giving me such a bad frame rate and not long after i found out that my GPU and CPU were on low usage. I have r7 1700 overclocked to 3.8ghz and gtx 1070ti also overclocked a lil bit. Fallout 4 was running on ultra and 2560x1080. My fps struggles to go past 45 but my GPU and CPU is doing absolutely no work Help pls?

First of all check your video quality because you will have to redo all of this to be able to change it after we are done. This includes the FOV,etc. Now head to C:\Users\(username)\Documents\My Games\Fallout4\Fallout4Prefs Now find "iPresentInterval=1" and change the 1 into an 0 Beware that doing this might cause the lockpicking minigames and closed space levels to accelerate. Note that this can be fixed via Fallout 4 Un-official patch on Nexus mods

So when I first played fallout 4 VR I was Surprised on how blurry it was does any one have any idea how to fix it. Thanks!

Electronics Boutique Australia (EB Games) has a Mid-Year Half-price SALE, although the Webstore does not show it there is a DOOM UAC pack for PC priced at $47 (mine was the last in stock at my local store). You may need to check availability at you nearest outlet for copies of DOOM with/without the UAC pack as they mentioned that there was limited stock. Other games include: Fallout 4 $44.98 NEW (was $89.95) ANNO 2205 $44.98 NEW (was $89.95) Rainbow Six: Siege $44.98 NEW (was $89.95) Many other titles available too

I have a lenovo g500s with a 1.5 3230m 6gb ddr3l intel integrated 4000 will it run fallout 4 if i turn down the settings I only play on this a few days a week but can it run it

CPU fx6300 GPU 280x Looking to change either the CPU or GPU out, not sure which first. CPU doesn't even max out in fallout 4, ultra settings reaching up to 40-50, but almost never. Usually consistent 12-35. Change it to low with lowered resolution and a nice very playable 30-40 in heavily intensive areas with 50-60 in most other areas. I feel like this might be my graphics card struggling with the graphics in the game, especially it being SO heavily coded towards Nvidia. But I want to be sure to switch out the right thing first to see the most performance increase.

Hi community, I am playing fallout 4 on 3440x1440. With a 5930k @ 4.7GHz ; 980ti OC to almost 1400MHz. However I am running fallout 4 with ultra graphics mind you, and i am getting about 17 FPS in citys or in areas where there are more than 6 turrents around me. and other situations. In a good area i will get 34 FPS. Is this normal?

I'm having an audio issue and others have suggested running DXSetup. The wizard comes up but at the end of the install it fails saying an internal error occured and to refer to DXerror.log and DirectX.log . The Log says: [11/11/15 14:32:37] module: dxupdate(Mar 30 2011), file: dxupdate.cpp, line: 5861, function: DirectXUpdateInstallPlugIn RegisterDllFromSection() failed. I have reinstalled and verified game cache. I have the dxdiag file, DXError file, and DirectX.log file if needed. If more info is needed, please let me know. Thanks!

Hi, So my current gaming rig can run fallout 4 usually on medium happily, but every now and again the frame rate gets sketchy and drops a lot. Given its not a massive issue but its happening often enough to bug me. My current rig is: Processor: i5-4690, 3.5-ghz Mother Board: Asus Rog Maximus VII Ranger Graphics Card: 2GB Nvidia Palit GTX760 Ram: 16Gb Kingston Hyper X Fury SSD: Kingston 120GB HHD: Seagate 1TB The game is on the hard-drive as opposed to SSD, and I have 3 screens at 1080p. So is it worth me upgrading now and if so what really should I be upgrading first? Thanks in advance.

Hello Community, Im new to the linustechtips forums and came here because i have a problem: I REALLY want to play Fallout 4, but my PC can run it. My specs: Q6600 GTX 260 6GB DDR2 RAM The officail minimal requirements are out of my budget, so i need a cheap way to upgrade my pc to play. I got about 200 euros(max. 250) . My friend wants to sell me a gtx 560ti for 30 euro so would that be a good trade and enough? is there a cheap but strong cpu for a lga 775 socket? Linus showed how to build a 8 core for under 150 but honestly i dont think i have enough pc knowledge to do that.

My pc specs http://www.cnet.com/products/dell-inspiron-3647-pentium-g3220-3-ghz-4-gb-500-gb/specs/ I have a Dell Inspiron 3647 with Intel Pentium G3220 3.0 Ghz Intergrated Intel HD Graphics DDR3 SDRAM 4GB@1600 Mhz Can i game with these spcecs on fallout 4 at 60 fps or near(like a normal fps where there is no or little lag to be observed) at 1280x1080p resolution. If not can please suggest what should I upgrade(if really needed) as I am a total noob( and by noob i mean i had to search for the full form of cpu yesterday) at computer hardware. Thanks effort appreciated!

Hey guys, today i come to you with my budget build guide, a box that i will use for the price of under 500 since i am under a really, really strict budget. So i've been playing TF2, quake live and battlefront 2 on my laptop, i'm kinda tired of not being able to run games that people gift me like fallout 4, rocket league and gang beats, so since i'mon a budget, and im not really playing any other games apart from CSGO (which doesn't even run on my laptop at low settings) quake, TF2, i've decided to make this baby, my question is , can i run games like fallout 4 at low settings at 1080p? maybe 900p at mid settings at 30+ fps? what about rocket league, considering im coming from playing on a laptop, i dont really care about graphics that much (i would love to play games at 1080p and above 30 fps) i just want to play them at a nice resolution and fps. Thanks in advance (i already have a wireless mouse and its served me well so i dont see a need to change it right now, maybe in the future and plus im coming from a laptop so i dont mind the cheap keyboard) PCPartPicker part list: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RkQx4D Price breakdown by merchant: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/RkQx4D/by_merchant/ CPU: Intel Pentium G3258 3.2GHz Dual-Core Processor ($66.99 @ SuperBiiz) Motherboard: MSI H81M-P33 Micro ATX LGA1150 Motherboard ($45.89 @ OutletPC) Storage: Hitachi Ultrastar 500GB 3.5" 7200RPM Internal Hard Drive ($39.99 @ Amazon) Video Card: Asus GeForce GTX 750 Ti 2GB Video Card ($106.99 @ SuperBiiz) Case: Rosewill FBM-01 MicroATX Mini Tower Case ($27.99 @ Amazon) Power Supply: EVGA 500W 80+ Bronze Certified ATX Power Supply ($38.98 @ Newegg) Monitor: Asus VS228T-P 60Hz 21.5" Monitor ($89.99 @ NCIX US) Keyboard: Logitech K120 Wired Standard Keyboard ($6.99 @ NCIX US) Total: $423.81

I was thinking and realised that Fallout 4 is gonna be Xbox's version of Destiny. Its not exclusive, but there are certain features that are only coming to xbox(and PC) that glad I have both of wich for. Anybody agree with me. Sidenote, which platform are you getting it on?
