Hey everyone Genshin Impact recently Released for PC/PS4/Mobile and its a pretty good game, its got some Breath of the Wild Vibes clearly took some inspiration from it (glider, climbing, stamina bar, cell shader graphics). It's pretty shocking how high quality of a game this is for a free to play game. Some quick pros and cons: Pros: 1. Free to Play so doesn't hurt to try it out. 2. Nice Cell shade anime graphics. 3. Runs smooth haven't run into any glitches, bugs, or crashes yet (knocks on wood). 4. Very nice sound track, the game has a lot of Asian styling and the music also follows this (game is made by a chinese developer). 5. Interesting combat system, rather then just playing one character you create a team of 4 and you can switch them with the press of a button at any time. This plays into the elemental combo system where you prime the enemy with an ability and then detonate it with another characters ability (water + ice = frozen solid enemy). 6. Large open world will remind you of Breath of the Wild. 7. Cross Platform Play, you can play with people from PC/PS4/Mobile (need to hit adventurer rank 16 before you can play co-op) and your account is playable on any of them without any extra work, just login with your email and password and your good to go (edit except for Playstation sony wont allow account linking to share progress between PS4 and PC/Mobile). 8. Multiple Language choices. Cons: 1. Uses Gatcha monetization model (lootbox, random content), though the currency is earnable in game and given to you at a pretty fast rate will likely slow down once you have most of the achievements done. They call them wishes in this game and they reward weapons and characters. The are ranks 1-5 Stars seems like the lowest Star rated item you can get from them is 3 and seems like all characters are 4 or 5 star. 5 stars are very rare as you would expect. As you progress through the story some characters are given to you for free and equipment is dropped from chests and (mini) boss fights. 2. Current download speed for the game is garbage went like 300kbps to 1.1mbps, luckly the game doesn't take up a lot of space was only like 10gb + or - a bit of PC, like 5.8 gb on mobile. Edit: @Skiiwee29 said that he read on discord that running the launcher as an admin may increase the download speed to max. 3. Potential for false positive bans, they don't allow VPN connections so if you use a ping reducing tunneling service like exit lag or similar program its possible it will flag you as using a vpn and ban you. That's about all that i can think of for negatives the game is pretty solid, check it out! I've been in a bit of a lull with the games I've been playing and was looking for suggestions for good free to plays (preferably co-op) on steam

Guys albion online just went free2play! is there a reason for that? i always wanted to try it but couldn't. Now that its free i think i can take a crack at it!

So, anyone else playing this game ? I downloaded it since it became available, and i can say it's really cool game. Today got a update as well (1.1 GB), so can't wait to see what's new in this patch.

It has long been rumored that The Elder Scrolls Online will go free to play eventually but that day may come sooner rather than later as Zenimax Online has removed one of the subscription options available for the MMO. Those looking to subscribe can now only choose between 30 day and 90 day options, whereas you used to be able to subscribe for 180 days. Just wanted to say that the game is pretty awesome so far. It still needs balance (Fletcher's spamable Sticky Bombs and the Phantom's 1 shot Katana) but it is still a Beta so I guess that's to be expected. And until its out of beta I don't plan on spending much money on it. My only concern is that it's published by Nexon which has a history of ruining some F2P games. What do you guys think of the game? So far it has me hooked. SOME MORE INFO A few keypoints on why I like the game Nothing is blocked by your level - example: You couldn't get a certain gun until say lvl 24 Little to no pay wall - the only thing that requres you to pay for are Elite Cases (gives you higher grade loadout cards which are just skins of the lower grade cards) and the Credits Boosters. Everything else in the game is purchasable with the in game credits. Objective and Team Focused gameplay - Your K/D isn't shown until the end of the game and playing with the team and playing the objective can actually give you the higher score even if you end up with a low K/D Any Loadout cards above Bronze (all bronze cards are availible for purchase with in-game credits or cash) are only cosmetic skins and have no advantage. If you don't know what Free to Play means... It's basically a game which advertises itself as free, but it pulls you in a trap. You have micro transactions and benefits if you pay... One 15 year old teenager fell into the trap, and Kotaku writes about it... And they continue by saying: We should rename the "Free to Play" term to "Pay to Win" because if you have a credit card, you surely are the winner... This describes the current state of the Industry, if they actually wanted to make a Free game, would they be able to? They wouldn't be a real company if they aren't making any income... But todays kids are stupid also for actually spending that much money on a "free game". I've seen lots of people do this, and if you want to know how much this kid actually spent, well, you don't... Or atleast shouldn't, let's just say that he spent more than a yearly income... Or... 37,000 Euros And let's just remember that this happened because of his stupid mom who almost "let" him rob his GRANDFATHER'S CREDIT CARD

Hey guys, I just made this thread to talk about Warsow. It's a completely free to play FPS, it's arena shooter like Quake (no, it's not a Quake clone if you are here to say that don't even bother please), it's open source with cel-shaded graphics and the player base has been in decline for a long time. Hi, so I just bought 7 packs. Got no legendaries, bought 7 more, no legendaries, bough 15 more, no legendaries. My friends keep telling me there is a curve. A curve as in, the more packs that I open without a legendary the higher my chances are the next pack will have a legendary. They are super sure of this and I am not, but I trusted them and bought 7 more packs. I AM NOT GETTING ANYTHING GOOD. I spent 50 bucks and got no legendaries plus 500 dust. My question: Is there a curve? Also, the average is 1 legendary per 20 packs (5%).
