Hey, Wasn't sure where to post this so apologies in advance if it's in the wrong section. Is there anybody that owns both Mod mesh and flex pro cable extensions in white that could show me a side by side comparison? I'm not sure what to buy for my new system xD Thanks for the help in advance, Lex

How do I run code in VSCode Terminal on one specific GPU? Do I need to install a extension or change program settings in nvidia control panel?

id like to put an extension in the wall to connect to my computer to the living room while its in my bedroom. my idea is to have enough USB ports for vr and also enough HDMI ports for it. i don't have a specific vr headset yet and am planning to buy one a little after new years. the living room is just on the other side of the wall so i was wondering if anyone knows if theirs a good female to female stranded for USB or a leingth limit for HDMI/USB. i heard that you can use ethernet and use a convirter but has anyone tried this and know if it would cause any lag? so far all i really know is i need 3 for a mouse/keyboard and an extra if i need to plug it in for whatever reason. and i know that current gen vr uses 2 HDMI ports but should i add a display port just in case for future use? also if possible id like a PC driven vr headset thats wireless would it change anything in terms of what i need for the usb port? ive also seen some newer graphics cards that use have and display with only one hdmi port. would some need a convirter? for eveyone that responds thank you! this is my first post so if i messed something up tell me.

Title pretty much states it- ever since my last post I made here, I have reconsidered my adblocking options. I have officially decided I won't try to make my own adblocker unless it comes down to it & I haven't any options left. With that being said, I have found that AdBlocker Ultimate is a great adblocker I have come to absolutely LOVE! It's great at adblocking while having a simple-to-use interface & it's even light when it comes to system usage! But there is 1 little issue if I want to use it on my other browsers: I can't use the newer version (3.7.6) specifically on both Yandex & Opera GX. You're probably wondering why. According to the response I received yesterday from the AdBlocker Ultimate team, they say they've been having issues with both Opera and Yandex stores updates. They also said that they have been trying to update the extension for other smaller stores/extension catalogs, but it just hasn't happened yet. I'm wondering if Opera is to blame for this since I haven't heard anything from them yet? I did make a post on the Opera forum about this, but I really didn't receive as many responses or feedback as what I thought I would have. You can view my Opera forum post here: https://forums.opera.com/topic/44952/adblocker-ultimate-3-7-6-not-working-properly-after-installing-full-details-included But it did get me to wondering afterward if maybe I can use the latest version of AdBlocker Ultimate in both browsers without any issues. I assume it could be possible even though I'm no expert by far. I would probably guess that some tweaking to the extension's code or maybe the browser's might enable this to work...? Either way, I'm hoping this could be possible to get it working! If anyone here can help me or if you know of anything, do drop me a line & we can talk! Same thing goes if you have any questions you might need to ask. This post in of itself is a great idea I think, but I hope it won't be wasted or in vain on my part. Thanks in advance to anyone who might be able to help!

Preface: I'm not 100% sure this goes in this this category. I'm looking for some purple and black (maybe gray, I'm not opposed) sleeved extensions for my power supply and I don"t want to pay for cable mod because they are out of my budget. so I was wondering if anyone could find a set that isn't just alternating between black and purple like the ones linked below. thanks to anyone that can help out. cheers! The cables I referenced above: https://www.amazon.com/dp/B07XJZPW6C/ref=sspa_dk_detail_0?psc=1&spLa=ZW5jcnlwdGVkUXVhbGlmaWVyPUEzTFBBMDFWNlJFVUImZW5jcnlwdGVkSWQ9QTA1NTQ5MzROTEkwRVA3RUVQTUQmZW5jcnlwdGVkQWRJZD1BMDA0MjkyOTIzSERQRFJNSlhRV08md2lkZ2V0TmFtZT1zcF9kZXRhaWwyJmFjdGlvbj1jbGlja1JlZGlyZWN0JmRvTm90TG9nQ2xpY2s9dHJ1ZQ==

Can I just get some recommendations of custom cable makers, and pc accessories manufacturers (cable extensions, LED's, whatever you consider an "accessory")? (Like CableMod, etc.) I want to know also if you recommend them, and why. I'm doing a couple of builds soon for friends and family, and I need to consider all my options, plus, having a nice list on the forums of all of these things would be awesome, thanks all.

I have a black and red themed build, and I was looking to buy some cable extensions for it. I would like to find the best cables I can get for a low price. I have heard of places like cablemod, but just wanted to know if you guys have any suggestions for any other places that I could get some cables, and which place would be the best bang for my buck. Thanks in advance.

So I decided to stop being lazy and switch over to Chrome. I've been running my Windows 10 PC with Edge for quite some time now, mainly because I wanted to test it out, but I never switched to Chrome or Firefox because I didn't have any problems with it. So anyway, are there any extensions that I should definitely install? I already installed the LTT one but that's it.

I've been looking around to get a new power supply that is at least semi modular. I was specifically looking for non ketchup-mustard cables, but some people have been suggesting me to just get cable extensions So I looked up on CableMod and saw like 25-35€ 24pin 8pin 6pin black/red sleeved cables ( to match the theme once i upgrade ) and shipping is like 15€.... I mean, I could swallow that shipping cost but can those extensions be applied to any PSU or only the "chosen" ones.

Source: http://www.pcmag.com/news/349328/web-of-trust-browser-extension-cannot-be-trusted If you have Web of Trust installed in your browser or on your mobile device, it's time to remove it because they have been spying on their 140 million users. If you don't know what Web of Trust is, it's a browser extension and android app which will tell you how safe a website is, based off of community ratings. I used this extension a lot and for me to find this out really did shock me. I've since removed the extension and highly advise others to do so. Hello all, I am wondering if anyone knows if there is any way to get an extensions for front i/o panel of my case. The case that I have is the CaseLabs Mercury S8. It has two USB 3.0 cables and the normal power/led and audio cables. I am looking for extensions for these cables because the ones that are supplied with the case are bulky and just barely long enough to reach my motherboard, so they're stretched across open space instead of tucked away in the corners or against the walls of the case. So I am trying to get extensions that way I can sort of coil the original cables up in the basement and route the extensions to my motherboard to make everything look cleaner. Or if there is something else that would help me solve this issue. I've looked for some by searching with Google, however I haven't really found anything useful that looks nice as well. Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated.

SOURCES: ArsTechnica's Original Article Deep Dive into DataSpii by ArsTechnica Extensive Documentation of the Data Leak by Sam Jadali WashingtonPost Warning: The original article is quite a long read, but I highly recommend reading it if you have the time, it explains the matter better than I could. I will attempt to summarize the key points here. For the last 7+ months several Browser Extensions for Chrome and Firefox have been collecting and exposing millions of people's browsing data, and sometimes even including embedded URLs that contain files with private information. The leak, coined "DataSpii" by researcher and founder of hosting service Host Duplex, Sam Jadali, was discovered through extensive research into Nacho Analytics, a paid service selling this data in "near real-time", and advertises itself as "God Mode for the Internet". The leak resulted in the publishing of sensitive, private, and personally identifiable data from the effected users: And has also affected over 50 businesses leaking internal information: Sam Jadali found numerous extensions that resulted in eventual publications of tested URLs on Nacho Analytics: If you've previously used any of these extensions and want to know more about the leak, how it happened, and how it effects you, I highly recommend reading the full ArsTechnica article. And if you want to go deeper into the data leak, please check out Sam Jadali's work, he's done an amazing job documenting his research into the matter. I noticed while I was digging around the forums in google that several users have recommended extensions like Hover Zoom in the past, so if you know anyone who might be effected by this please spread the word!

So I have this problem for several months which is driving me insane ?, and I am not sure where I should post it, so I came here (I dont have enough points on Reddit so I cant post there), I am new here and this is my first post here actually. Anyway, I have this folder in my bookmarks bar called "Extension bookmarks" and it keeps creating itself every time I delete it. I have over 40 enables extensions and I haven't the slightest idea which one it could be. In the folder there are 3 bookmarks : youtube.com, outlook.live.com, IMDB.com. I dont know why these specifically. I dont have any bookmarks related extension except Raindrop, but this is cloud based so I dont think its the culprit. I dont know what I expect from you guys, but maybe someone out there had the same problem.

I'm looking for sleeved cable extensions for my 2070. It has an 8 pin and 6 pin, and I found a 14 pin pcie extension. Is this compatible, or do I need one 8 pin and one 6 pin? Also looking to keep it under $40 any suggestions? My psu is a corsair cx650m.

Hey all - I'm planning out my new rendering rig, and I'm thinking of getting some of those beautiful CableMod extensions. I saw on the configurator that they now have bridged cables, which is awesome. While I know what bridged cables are, I'm a bit lost on which to buy for my PCIe extensions. The rig is going to have a Gigabyte 2070 Super OC which uses a 6-Pin and 8-Pin power connector. According to the amazon photos, when the GPU is installed, the 6-Pin is on the left and the 8-Pin is on the right. CableMod gives an option for both a 6+8 bridged cable and an 8+6 bridged cable. Which is which? I looked on their website and on the rest of the internet and couldn't find anything regarding this. Thanks, Max

Hello, In my build I am thinking of using the Thermaltake cable extensions. They are 300mm in length which is fine because I have a small case but I would like to know if they will work on there own and use them not as extensions. They psu I am using is the Thermaltake RGB pro.
