I recently bought an EVGA Z20 and it just got delivered. I bought it because I like EVGA and want to support the company (I’m a fanboy). I didn’t understand the difference between switches so I just got the cheaper version with clicky switches. I didn’t realize how loud clicky switches were. I love the keyboard for everything but its sound, but that’s a deal breaker for me so I’m gonna return it. My current keyboard is a Redragon K552 and it’s already loud enough. If I bought the linear version of the EVGA Z20, would it be just as loud as/quieter than the K552? If not, are there any EVGA keyboards that could suit that requirement? If not that, does any one have a good recommendation for a keyboard that is not annoyingly loud? (I live with family) (Under $90)

While my original ran great till right before my 3 year warranty expired. My next 2 replacement cards from EVGA have both had issues within a few hours of use. I've reseated and reinstalled drivers, is there anything I can do or is it just dead? It's their over clocked 3070 model

I bought a EVGA z15 keyboard which says it has hot swappable switches. I tried it with some gateron, and with some cherry mx, and none of these switches actually fit because the rgb led is too tall. I tried asking EVGA support about their thoughts, and they told me the keyboard only works with the switches provided and they don't know of any others that are compatible. I guess it is *technically* hot swappable, but that kind of defeats the purpose. So I tried another switch from the same manufacturer (kailh), but that also didn't fit. It seems like only the very specific switches fit. Before you ask - yes, each of the key switches I tested list that they are compatible with most LED keyboards and they have a cutout for LED. Just not the size of the LED evga uses. Can anyone tell me what key switch I **CAN** use with this keyboard, and if there are anything like Cherry MX Blue that are compatible?

Hi, I got an evga rtx 2070 Super FTW3 ultra or whatever(3 fans), super heavy but good gpu from what i benchmarked it on. Results are: 4750 with 5600g (extreme+1080p, max settings) on Unigine Valley(didnt bother getting the 2017 unigine thing lol thats 1.4gb). Then ran OCCT to further test the gpu to make sure alls working, never pushing the gpu to higher than 66 degrees celcius (all that 2 kilos of cooling woohoo). Anyways, the gpu is rated at 215W but draws continuously 250w.. is that normal? ik gpu's can slightly eat a bit more wattage. but not an extra 40w. Highest tdp the gpu went up to was 256W. The card was bought used but basically in perfect condition with all the covers, off some business. Should I be worried or is this a special perk of the evga 3 fan super beefed up rtx 2070 super? I ran the test for about 8 minutes, never reaching over 69(nice) degree temp to see how well the gpu handles. I also used cinebench 2024 with whatever the first option was, and for the gpu, on task manager, it never got over 1% usage, however the vram got absolutely eaten.

Hey folks, i am upgrading my PC components and this will be the final build of all it's upgrades: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/6vtNgB Estimated wattage: 828W. i wont do overclocking! i may add 1 or more NVME SSD to the build and the main GPU will be a 4080 super, it's not out yet, but i plan to add that one even the 4070 ti, i am between 4070's and 4080's. the PSU i am planning to buy is an Corsair RM1000x or EVGA SuperNova 1000 GT, but i hope you can help me with better options or if this option is good enough. i hope you can help me. Cheers.

BACKSTORY: Hello! I woke up the other morning to the sound of my son trying to create an electrical fire with cola and 120v ac. I narrowed his system down to being okay aside from a dead evga power supply which seemed to be tripping a coil. Having a spare Seasonic SSR1000GD on the shelf, but far overkill for his i5-8400 and 1650 setup, I pulled the m12 Evo 2 unit out of my pc and put it in his case. This of course left me needing to install a unit in mine. THE PROBLEM: With the SSR1000GD I noticed only too late that it had third party cables (i bought it from an IT clearance), but they're not labeled. I intended to buy cablemod cables after new years, but would like my PC in the mean time. My question is, does anyone have a pinout for the 24 pin and other style connectors for the motherboard? This way I can verify my PSU cabling is correct, and can be used without component killing risks involved. I'm adept with wiring, but my experience is automotive and I'm not sure where to find a good source for pinouts, but my fluke and I are ready if anyone can help. Thanks so much for taking the time to read, and any insight provided. TLDR; I need motherboard pinout so I don't fry my shit with aftermarket cables.

Hey guys, Recently, my family has gifted me a 4090 Strix as a graduation present considering I've just graduated from college with honors and an Advanced Diploma. That being said, although I am happy that I will now be joining the 40 series gang this unfortunately does mean I will be parting ways with my beloved 3080 ti from EVGA. It served it's purpose and I will miss the customer service EVGA brought me whenever I had issues with EVGA hardware. Whether it being GPUs or PSUs, I still firmly believe that EVGA's customer service was by far the best. Now with them leaving the GPU industry, that leaves ASUS, MSI, Gigabyte and Zotac as the main contenders for choosing a Graphics card. With that being said, I do have one question. How good is ASUS' customer service compared to all other brands? Although I am confident that my new GPU will last for several years I am wondering how their customer service fares when it comes to dealing with RMAs or replacement requests for GPUs. Despite the controversy between ASUS and J2C my family still went ahead with ASUS which I do not mind as it is the card that I originally wanted when the 4090s released. For anyone that has gone through the RMA experience, what was it like? How did ASUS treat you compared to EVGA? If anyone has any stories they would like to share please let me know! Thank you!

First of all I'm sorry this is long. But i don't know what to do anymore ran here made an account I'm sorry if break any rules since i don't know any rules. on November 9th i play on my PC just fine when suddenly Monitor turnoff to no display but all the computer components including the VGA as if the monitor just stop receiving output from VGA but the i can see the VGA still running light turn on and dan spinning. - don't know what to do and dumbfounded i force restart the PC when i noticed White LED VGA indicator on mobo is turn on - my first solution is maybe I'm don't use good cable for my 3x8pin psu cable(i use two8pin from my RM850 + one a spare from my old CX650). I bring new(i use two 8pin from RM850 + one 8pin from AX1000 i borrow from a friend) one all of em is 18AWG(CMIW). - as soon as I turn to computer with the new psu cable is when great. No white led VGA turn on but it stop at yellow LED boot indicator. - force restart again. Now it's boot just fine but back to VGA white led turn on. - fast forward to November 10th. i think Power is fine not the problem. So maybe because bad contact with the pcie slot because the VGA is to big/heavy since it's 3080(yes i don't use gpu support) So i try to lift manually the VGA while trying to turn on the PC. And it's BOOT! straight to windows - BUT its blue screen saying windows error 0xc0000001 and 0xc0000225. - now i though the VGA problem is fix but new windows problem. Next is i try to reinstall new windows from my bootable flashdisk by going to the BIOS. I when through the installation prosses when suddenly no display again! - computer still on but no display back to the first problem - i try to force restart but it won't boot. Back to white VGA led on mobo meaning they recognize something wrong with the VGA or maybe they recognize no VGA at all - next What I do is buy 99.9% isopropyl alcohol to clean the pcie pin on the VGA. I did that and try to plug it in again. To fail again. Still white led and no boot to window - next i try to try the second pcie slot on my mobo which is fortunately still the same pcie x16. But i have problem. My motherboard is matx that's make me can't put the 3080 to the second pcie slot because the VGA has no room since there a lot of cable there like case front panel, audio, and sata, etc. So i buy extended pcie cable so that i can put my 3080 to the second pcie slot with the extended cable. But to no avail. It won't boot, still led white VGA indicator - while all this happeneling the VGA RGB and fan is still spinning tho the fan sometimes spin sometime only spin for a while but at least i know power when through just fine to the VGA. the 3080 is not dead real dead since it's still manage to show display to bios and windows installation (even tho back to no display) PC Spec is -ryzen 9 5900X -asus TUF B550m Plus Gaming -EVGA 3080 ftw3 ultra -Corair RM850 PSU I'm tired please help this all my non techy brain can do for now i think

I've been a bit stressed about this topic for a few weeks now, reading multiple opinions, both good and bad about different PSUs. To summarize: I have a computer with a 5600G and 16Gb of RAM. I am planning on getting a RX 6600 graphics and maybe changing the processor to a 5600 or 5600x. The thing is, currently my PSU is an EVGA W1, from what I've read, it's pretty bad and they don't recommend using it. The only models I have access to buy are a 600w EVGA GD GOLD and a 700w EVGA BQ, in my country it is difficult to get PSU, they only sell W1 models in all stores. Would you recommend the EVGA GD ? The BQ gives me a little insecurity because I have read that it lacks a protection, so I think the "best option" would be the GD, but I would like to read opinions. I don't intend to overclock or anything like that, I don't intend to buy a 3090 or similar, I just want a PSU to protect my PC.

Hello people, It seems I've stumbled into some unknown issue with my graphics card that is very difficult to diagnose. I've had an EVGA RTX 2080 Ti SC since March 2020, and it has worked flawlessly up until now. Two days ago i got a sudden crash playing Apex Legends, which has since then continued to crash my PC in multiple scenarios. What I've experienced 1. PC does not crash in windows, or in any non-game applications. 2. PC crashes during gameplay or while starting a game, i have tested many different games and the same goes for all of them. 3. Game crashes during gameplay, but PC does not crash. For example Apex Legends has given 2 similar errors: DXGI_DEVICE_ERROR_RESET and DXGI_DEVICE_ERROR_HUNG. 4. PC will crash during regular use, however, ONLY after i have experienced a BSOD crash from any game. It's like there are issues that reverberate after a BSOD crash that affects everything, even regular use. (only happens irregularly) What I've tested 1. different displayport cable 2. different displayport port 3. different pci-e slot 4. different pci-e cable 5. DDU driver uninstall and reinstall 6. Nvidia debug mode 7. Plug in gpu into entirely different PC (same crash happens) 8. Use my old GTX 980 (this works, no crashes at all) There are no thermal issues at all with the card as far as i can tell. The latest driver 537.42 was released 2023-09-21, which is more than 10 days before the crash. I can't wrap my head around why this would happen all of a sudden, I'd love to get some insight or feedback on how to further diagnose this. Unfortunately the card is 7 months past it's 3 year warranty period. I have spoken to EVGA and they can't provide me an RMA case for this.

Earlier today I tried turning my PC on, but the PSU clicked and didn't do anything, then I opened the side panel to see what was happening and tried turning the PC on again, only for a spark to come out of the back of my GTX 970. It's a pretty old card, If I remember correctly I bought it just after it came out. As soon as I saw the spark I pulled the PC from the wall and removed the graphics card, but it looked like it was turning on normally had I not pulled the plug, even saw the motherboard's splash screen flash on the monitor. With the GPU out of the motherboard, the PC turned on normally and no other component was harmed. It's there any chance that my GPU is still working? Are the burnt components essencial to the safety of the rest of my system?

Brand new EVGA 750 Gold PSU Flashing PG 0ms and Beeping.
SMITHBEATZ posted a topic in Power Supplies
I'm going to paste my response to an older thread of someone having the same issue with two brand new EVGA PSUs. "I'm having the same exact issue with a brand new EVGA 750w Gold PSU. All values are normal and within range EXCEPT for the PG value is flashing and beeping 0 ms. Got the PSU from a guy recently for free because he couldn't get it to work, but it's brand new off Amazon and he never ended up returning it. I assumed he just did something wrong and I'm seeing this issue for many EVGA PSUs. Any info would be appreciated." -
Just doing a upgrade on my sons PC as he brought a RX6700 and only had a 500W PSU so got him a modular EVGA 650 B5 and got myself another one for me for upgrade later in the year. Plugging it into the PSU Test and its comes all the voltages are fine green lights all round but the PG reading is Zero and its flashing and bleeping. Tried it on normal and ECO model and still get the same. All cables plugged in Mobo/CPU/VGA/Sata/Molex even the floppy so though I would try the other one I brought and the same thing happens with that. Having both PSU's do this brand new same out the box, surely they both can't be faulty. I've tested an old Coolermaster 500w with the tester and all is good with that went back to the EVGA's and still the same issue. Don't know if its because of something specific EVGA have done with the circuitry with it being Modular and having the ECO mode which is messing the readings up on the tester as its just a bog standard PSU Tester. If anyone can help that would be perfect

I am looking to get a 1500VA/900W Cyber Power UPS to support my PC (~550w estimated true load; 750W EVGA G2 GOLD PSU), 2 monitors, and modem/router. I've read around how active PFC on a PSU could impact using a simulated sine wave UPS. Looking for feedback on if I should be ok to get simulated sine wave or do I need to purchase the pricier true sine wave?

I'm doing this kind of a long shot but it doesn't hurt to make a new account here and ask anybody. so here's the story I'm a kid that likes building computers I have done about a dozen now for friends and family and thought I would finally build my own so I ordered my parts and got a used Zotac amp 1080 TI off of Facebook Marketplace I know getting used GPUs comes with the risks but I have gotten plenty of good graphics cards in the past used. Anyways my problem is the graphics card works and has a video out but anytime I try to play A game or launch a GPU-intensive application without messing with the card on Zotac Firestorm it crashes. First off I have an EVGA 700 GD for my power supply on the +12v. It can deliver 699 Watts at 58.3 amps. I'm pretty dang sure that this power supply should be able to easily handle a 1080 TI. Using software I noticed that the card draws upwards of 290 to about 310 Watts which the power supply should be able to handle easily. I have checked drivers and checked the GPUs BIOS about four dozen times and have made 100% sure everything else in the computer works. I noticed the card does not overheat or show it's overheating but is it possible that despite the thermal sensors on the card there is a spot getting well above a recommended temperature? Going along with this using Zotac Firestorm when undervolting the graphics card to about -50 on the GPU clock and memory clock things work okay. So when undervolting the card a little bit things work all right I can run games without crashing but have had some instability issues still. it just sucks having just bought a new graphics card only to be able to run it at 70% of its full power, especially on a new build. I saw another thread from here about the power supplies not being able to handle the 1080 TI and saw some other stuff about the 1080 TI's components just getting old but I'm stuck and I need some help. Any advice would be awesome. For the build, I have an ASRock b450m pro 4 R5 5600x 16 gigs of Ram at 3600 from Team group. I have a 1 TB SP nvme drive and a 2 TB Seagate Barracuda An EVGA 700 GD and lastly, the Zotac 1080 TI amp extreme I don't know if it matters but the case is a Cooler Master q300l I'm using the cooler that came with the 5600x.

For some reason I threw out the box to my 700BQ with all the additional cables, around a year ago. Problem is, I just got a rtx 3080 which requires 3 8 pin cables, whereas only 2 are hardwired into the PSU I have. I've been looking for around 2 hours, and the only place I can find a cable is on EVGA's official website, which has terribly slow shipping, unless I pay quite a bit. Also, that appears to be only for the supernova BQ series, which I have just now learnt is not compatible with the 700BQ. Does anyone else have any solution for my problem? I will try to get in contact with EVGA directly, however they are not open until tomorrow or Tuesday. Thanks in advance.

Hi, It'd been a long time since I'd maintained my loop so I flushed and replumbed my water cooling system yesterday. Everything was fine when my computer suddenly turned off. I have an Z390 AORUS XTREME mobo with a 9900k cpu. I have 4 dims of 16gb ram in it. The cpu has it's own CLC system separate from the custom system that I flushed and replumbed which is for my EVGA ftw 3 3080. I have an EVGA GQ 1000 watt 80 gold PSU I conducted the following tests using a thing that goes on the main power cable that does the same thing as using a paper clip. When the power supply is connected to nothing it seems to work. If I connect the peripherals the pump system seems to work. The power supply continues to work when I connect the gpu and Sata power. When the main cable is connected to the mobo I see the on mobo power button light light up. When I plug in cpu power cables and try to turn on the psu it makes a click and doesn't turn on. The fan of the psu doesn't spin. If I disconnect the cables and wait a few minutes the psu seems to spin it's fan again. Did I break my PSU? The CPU? The RAM? The MOBO? How can I trouble shoot this?

Hello, I Have an Evga supernova 1000w power supply. It recently started to make this rhythmic high pitched sound. I am certain it is the psu, I had a spare one and when I changed them the noise stopped. So I tried lubricate the bearing hoping it would help. It made a difference, but not much. The specs say it has a 135mm fan, so my question is, can I just go out and by any 135mm fan or I need something more specific? My biggest concern is, the fan is fixed with smaller than normal case fan screws.

After reading EVGA's second-hand warranty, I determined I didn't qualify as the previous owner definitely smoked cigarettes and spilled something on the backplate. So I figured I had nothing else to lose for this board. EVGA RTX 2080 XC released that sweet sweet vapor, but as a commoner, I have been unsuccessful in determining the component that failed if I was to replace it, though I doubt it is possible. I presume this has fried internal traces and is kinda useless, but I was curious. In the very, very slim chance that these were in parallel and I can knock it off the board to keep her chuggin' I figured, what the hell, it's dead either way

Hey guys , I have found the EVGA RTX 3070 FTW3 Ultra and the MSI RTX 3070ti VENTUS 3X OC in around the same price (Evga is a bit cheaper at 600€, msi is the cheapest 3070ti in my country at 630€) . Do you think it’s worth it going for the ti or should I stick with the Evga ? I’ve heard some bad things about the ventus cards . Thanks !
