So,I was scrolling through eBay..and I found this,monster. To be honest I don't think this is real, I mean seriously 230Watts! I7 6700k in a laptop! ( A freaking i7 6700HQ tops at 50 .-. ) A 4k panel! 4.0ghz clock! A Quadro in a laptop! Two nvme drives in raid? Ok I'm not going to treat this as a joke..yet. because I really don't know about laptops much and I don't know what OEM's have to tame serious components like these and I won't pretend that I do. But does anyone know if this is legit? I'm honestly curious about this and I can't find anything about this. Anybody know anything about this?

My Eurocmo Workstaiton Sky X6 Build on Clevo architecture P770DM which I bought more than a year ago has been dead for a while (6 months). One evening its just gave up and would not respond to power button at all. Laptop Power lights up and occasionally (only sometimes) CPU fan will turn on low, but that is about it. it's not booting, No display no actual hardware initialization what so ever. I've tried dismantling everything and put it back again and it's still the same problem. CMOS Battery is okay (checked with multimeter). but I'm not sure what other ways I can diagnose it further. Since it's out of warranty, Has anyone faced similar issue with laptops in general or can give any suggestion what could be wrong. . please help me out thanks.

After looking for laptops for a few days a lot of posts came up about eurocom laptops. I looked at a few reviews and came across two models in particular: M5 Pro Shark 5 I was wondering if anyone has experience with these laptops and was hoping you can provide some insight as I can't find too much information about them. My current plan was to get the shark 5 stock with only upgrading the HDD to 1TB 7200RPM and buying a set of 2x8GB ram separately to swap out the stock 4GB stick. I also plan on taking one of my SSDs (500GB Samsung 850) from my desktop and using that as a boot drive instead of the 1TB. Any suggestions would be great

As of next month I intend to buy a laptop simply for gaming - the model in question is the Eurocom X7 (which uses the Clevo P375SM as the barebones shell). Where my dilemma lies is in the subject of GPU parts - in price versus performance. I intend to purchase and outfit the X7 with an NVIDIA GTX 780m, as this is one of the 3 NVIDIA GTX series options for cards. Each card has an SLI option which totals this to 6 configuration options (discounting the Quadros). You can check the config for the notebook/DTR here: http://web.eurocom.com/ec/ec_model_config1(1,240,0)x I would like to buy two GTX 780ms in an SLI configuration, but am fearful that the additional $600 is not justified in terms of performance. I am aware of the shortcomings of SLI (indeed, I've also seen Linus's summary video about SLI on his other Techquickie channel), and am an informed enough consumer to be not buying blindly, but am not informed enough to know if having just one GTX 780m will suffice or if two are necessary. It is probably logical in that you ought to know what I intend to use the machine for, and that is intense gaming. I am not a complete visual freak and can live with most fancy options disabled, but the entire point of buying a machine such as this is to experience effects that I haven't been able to run before, such as AA, SSAO, DoF, the icing on the cake. Example demanding games I'd like to play are: Metro: Last Light, ARMA 3, Dying Light (2014), Titanfall, but most specifically, TESV: Skyrim with 200+ mods and some ENB shader play. Optimally, I'd like the FPS to be just above 60, to ensure flawless gameplay and minimal microstuttering in the event of SLI. I would like to add that I am looking only for constructive comments that will aid my decision in the purchasing of the GPUs. I am fully aware that buying/building a desktop would be far, far cheaper, and it's completely modular, and all that good stuff, but please respect my decision in choosing my machine, as I have my reasons for doing so (the prime reason being because I am almost always in a building, but rarely at home, so I need power which I can fit in a rucksack and carry around in short notice). And no, "I hate all conventional brands that sell gaming laptops!", or "'gaming' and 'laptop' shouldn't even be in the same sentence!", nonsense. So I'm gong to college pretty soon and am in need of a portable, but powerful laptop with atleast 8gb ram, dedicated gpu, and preferably something that weighs in at less than 5 lbs. After doing months worth of research and endless amounts of configurations on a number of different computer manafacturers' websites, I finally stumbled across the Eurocom M4. It is based off of the Clevo W230s, which I had stumbled across over at xoticpc under a Sager branding. BUT, what seperates Eurocom's version from Sager's is that Eurocom's is rocking a 3200x1800 QHD display!!! And at 13.3", that sets it at a whopping 276 ppi! Thats even higher than the new razer blade. But, like any laptop, there's more to the computer than the display; this gaming laptop really takes portable gaming to another level considering its price. The M4 is running an Intel i7 4700MQ(upgradeable all the way up to a 4930 extreme edition), Nvidia 860m 2gb graphics card, 8gb ddr3 ram, has two msata slots for optional ssds, and one 2.5" slot for either up to a hdd, or another ssd. It has a backlit keyboard, and all the expected ports you'd expect on a gaming notebook. At 13.3" the M4 is small, and relatively light at 4.4 lbs. And all this for a little less than $1200. Need help in buying a video editing and graphic mobile workstation . My primary software's i use are adobe primer pro , after effects and cinema 4d and occasionally i use maya and 3ds max for 3d graphics. i have a problem choosing the graphics card . could explain to me what is the difference between a Dual Sli gtx 780m w/4gb GDDR5 and a single GTX 780m w/4gb GDDR5. im curious if there are dual cards the memory is supposed to be 8 gb but it shows 4gb . Also please suggest me the bets cpu. I am currently using a alienware m17x and i seriously need a upgrade i have looked at the alienware 18 , adk 9000i7 , sager NP9570 and the eurocom phanter 4d . My budget is about $ 5700 Please help thank you
