Long story short, after building my PC and having much fun and thanking everyone here who helped me out, I kinda realized I need something more portable. I'm joining the US Navy here soon, and I cant really be taking my tower with me, even if its SFF, it still needs a monitor. I decided i was going to sell it on ebay and/or locally; I'm not trying to advertise my PC here, I'm asking for whats the best laptop 2015-17 i can get for 600-700 USD that can run ESO in its 1080 ultra high settings at 60FPS. If any base of reference, that PC was hosting an Intel Pentium g4560 at 3.50 Ghz, 8 gbs of DDR4 2133 RAM, and an AMD Radeon RX 480 4GB GDDR5 memory and held up wonderfully for many games at 1080 and high settings and high frames. Please let me know what you guys think. Thank you for everything.

I've played Elder Scrolls Online Tamriel when it first came out on Xbone, Now I have a beast computer....and I wanna play a MMORPG but can't seem to get into any... Anyways ESO caught my eye and I was wondering if since its an old game is it still worth getting into? I've also got some general questions about the game if anyone wants to answer... Is it pay to win? Do lots of people still play it? Guilds/Clans active? Is gold edition worth it? Is their PVP? Should I buy through steam? Thanks guys, really appreciate it! -A_Lifeguard

I decided to get back into ESO today and so I downloaded it and started playing with all settings maxed with no issues. I decided I wanted to enable Nvidia surround so I could play on all 3 monitors, so I closed the game and configured Surround. When I opened the game the frame rate is absolutely terrible. It is the exact same whether I have all the settings minimum or maxed. I also tried full screen and windowed separately with v sync both on and off. Here is the kicker...when I have another window open in front of ESO, like Firefox or windows explorer, the frame rate jumps up to 60+ FPS where it should be, even on ultra settings. The second I click ESO as the active window it dive bombs. I've tried switching v sync off and on and resizing the window in windowed and full screen modes. The only way it works is if there is another active window on top. I tried a fresh download and install on two different hard drives and that hasn't made a difference. Ideas? i7 4790k Gigabyte GA-H97N-WIFI 8GB of PNY 1600Mhz Nvidia GTX 980 Corsair 250D x2 128Gb Sandisk SSD's in RAID 0, External WD 2TB Thermaltake 750 Corsair H100i Razer Black Widow Razer Mamba Logitech 5.1 Windows 10

Hey all... I need some opinions as I cannot decide what to do... I've been a huge elder scrolls fan since oblivion. Was so excited that they made a MMORPG of the series, ESO. I pre-ordered the imperial edition from launch.. Played beta before that.. Feel like i'm very committed to the game. After the last 3 years of the game being out.. I just feel that the game is far from what it should be. For example they've changed the base of the game twice already, first being as they removed "veteran levels" and implemented the CP system which should of been there since the beginning, and the second being One Tamriel, making anyone can go anywhere at any level(Which I understand a lot of other MMOs have diverted to, which is all good). Endgame for me is fun, doing veteran trials are fun. But after like a 1-2 months of doing the same trials over and over.. Feels boring. And Cyrodiil PvP is a joke, between the lag and all the zergs I just don't like it, even from when the game first came out. They just released the new "chapter" Morrowind and it feels super not complete, between their battlegrounds being 90% bugged at launch of live patch, to Morrowind feeling just uncomplete, with so many closed of ruins, and just feeling empty. Orsinium(One of the DLC's which was included in my Sub) Felt so much more complete, has more quests, and felt more complete overall. But this new "chapter" which I had to pay another $40.. has be wondering If I wanna be apart of this game still... Being that said, I've been thinking on picking up WoW once again, I played way back during TBC and WOTLK, and quit when cataclysm came out. Heard ALOT of good things with legion. Back when I played TBC and WOTLK the game felt so much more complete and premium vs ESO. I'm stuck here feeling committed to ESO based on all the time I've spent on there and being there since before the game "officially" came out and having the elder scrolls being my favorite series... Sorry if this felt like a vent, Just stuck debating on which MMO to go for. Any Opinions and support for one game or the other would be great. Which one should I go with?

First off if this tread is in the wrong place let me know. This is my first post on the forum and wasn't sure where to place this. I'm have some major issues with my Lenovo y40-80 laptop. It has both intel integrated graphics and a AMD M275X. I'm using Radeon Software Version 19.2.1 as the current AMD driver. The issue I'm having is Radeon is not detecting most programs to allow me to set them to use the AMD GPU vrs the default intel one. Even when I add programs manually in the Radeon software some of them don't run on the proper GPU. The vast majority of programs I run don't show under the running applications window in Radeon. Right now I've been trying to get Elder Scrolls Online to run on AMD. It's shows in Radeon as a game. But I getting pretty terrible frames and was able to confirm through task manager that it has only been running on GPU-0 which is intel on my machine. Anyone have a suggestions or have had similar issues?

I was wondering if I should get the 2600 the 2600x or the 2700x for Elder Scrolls Online. I heard that ESO likes clock speed so I thought about getting the 2600x over the 2600 but then I thought that if the game likes cores than I might as well get the 2700x which has 2 more cores and has a max boost of 4.3 GHz which is a 2 in one package. Does ESO like clock speed, lots of cores, or both?

Hi Everyone. Hoping someone could put it in simple terms for me. I have ESO and Sumerset. I am a Die hard Elder Scrolls Fan but i dont play Online games and Multiplayer games mainly for the fact i prefer games witha Very good story and a start and a finish. I understand that ESO doesnt really have a Ending to say but what i wanted to know was does is have a Single Main Story that progresses? I do side quests and everything but im looking to know if the game itself has a "Main Quest Line" that can be played and whether or not the story if if does have one is any good. Any assistance will be appreciated.

While downloading Elder Scrolls Online I noticed that my 250GB Smasung 850 EVO only has 95GB free. I'm almost positive it was well over 100GB a few months ago or last year. So I'm wondering if the 137GB used is from countless fall or spring creators updates stacked on top of one another. If I did a clean install of Windows 10 Home 64-bit using either the USB stick I bought, after all updates were said & done would it free up 5, 10 or even more GB of space? My personal files only take up 3GB & buying a 120 or 500 something GB secondary SSD isn't an option until maybe next year.

Hello my friends! Friend of mine is selling Canon 400D with this lens EF-S 18-55mm 1:3.5-5.6 IS and memory card 4GB for 190 Euro. Only the body without lens is 135Euro. I wanted to buy DSLR for long time and i plan buying one soon, but just wanted to ask you guys is it good deal for me if i buy this camera? I want to take really good quality pictures that are not possible with modern phones such as iPhone 6S or Samsung Galaxy S7 Edge. I also want to make some good HD quality smooth videos which is also not possible with phones. My price is maximum 700Euro for DSLR, but since this camera looked cheap for me, maybe its good for what i want to do with it. I dont understand anything of DSLR cameras or lenses the only thing i want to do is to take some extremely good quality Videos and Pictures. I'am pure amateur. Thanks in advance, best of luck!

So, Two games are on sale that I want, but I have no idea which one to get. My options are either Shadow or Mordor or Elder Scrolls Online. Yes I know they are two different types of games but which one do you guys think is the most enjoyable and has the best gameplay out of the two? Also can you give reason as to why you like that certain game over the other? Thank you so much in helping my decision.

Hi there, I've been researching gaming laptops for the past little while, but given all the options and (my reasonably limited knowledge of computer specs ), I'm still stuck between a few options. I'm looking for a laptop that can run heavily modded rpgs: specifically Skyrim, as well as mmorpgs (Wow, ESO, FFXIV, etc.) at ~60fps+. The only non-gaming thing I'm looking to use it for would be coding and watching youtube videos, and ideally it would cost me no more than $2500 USD. What I've narrowed it down to so far is: -Razer Blade 2015 14" http://www.razerzone.com/ca-en/store/razer-blade-2014 -and the Alienware 15 http://www.dell.com/ca/p/alienware-15-r2/pd both of which seem to run Skyrim, again - my main priority, at 60fps and can handle the graphics mods that I want for it... or so the youtubers whom I have contacted assure me. I'm 100% open to other suggestions, I've been iffy about the Origin Eon15-X as well, however the colors seem drowned out to me and the MSI models I compared are too similar to the razer blade. One last thing, I was planning on getting the 512GB Razer Blade, but I don't know if the 256GB would be enough for me. I was also indecisive regarding the Alienware 15, since I can't decide whether to go with the 8GB one with the i7 processor, or the 16GB one with the NVIDIA GTX 980M & 4GB GDDR5. Sorry, haha, all my knowledge about specs has been acquired in the past two days so I'm not entirely sure what would be enough. Any suggestions are welcome, thanks in advance!

So after a few months (years?) of practically no news, seeing as it was intended for release in 2014 if I remember correctly, they're finally launching a beta of the console version. I got an email today asking to participate in a survey related to me signing up for said beta. Now, to be honest, after playing it on PC I'm not that interested, but I'll install it, if for nothing but curiousness's sake to see how well it runs/looks on the PS4.

I am having a problem when I try to play a game on my computer. I start up the game and anytime within instant-2hours, my pc will go to a black screen as if it has shut down but the fans are still spinning. Specs: - Phenom II X6 1100t - stock running at 3.3 (3.7 turbo) - Corsair Vengeance 1600Mhz 8GB - running at 1333 - Corsair GS800w - Asus Crosshair IV Formula - MSi R9 390 - stock - Windows 8.1 / 10 64bit (does it on both) Games affected that I have noticed so far: - WoW - GTA 5 - H1Z1 - ESO Information: MSInfo - http://pastebin.com/1kF02F9H dxdiag - http://pastebin.com/qD394Vnu hwmonitor log - http://pastebin.com/rC5NRkbS hwmonitor image - https://i.imgur.com/Wl7PaRq.png Things that I have done to try to disagnose/fix the problem: - Monitored temps with HWMonitor - doesn't seem to be an issue (see above screenshot) - Replaced the thermal paste on my CPU - Windows memory diagnostic test to check ram - no issues - Prime95 (blend for 10hrs) - no issues - FurMark - black screen as soon as i start the stress test - Removed and refitted RAM, and moved them into different slots - Refitted the CPU cooler - Downgraded back to windows 8.1 - Uninstalled Raptr as I was told that may be causing some conflicts - Moved graphics card from x16 slot into the x8 slot. Will add more when I can think of what else I have tried. Can anyone help at all? Have a feeling it might be my PSU but I'm not 100% sure

ESO finally gets back to reasonable price range. Now $12 for standard and $21 for imperial. ESO Tamriel Unlimited for $12.00 ESO Tamriel Unlimited Imperial Edition for $21.76 Use coupon: DEALZO-NGMGSA-LESVVC the game, silly enough, went back to almost full list price when it became free to play and was updated to "Tamriel Unlimited" editions. (when it was just ESO, it dropped as low as around $13). whether or not its worth it at this price now that its a buy-to-play MMO or not depends on how much you enjoy Elder Scrolls world. personally I didn't like ESO (not for a monthly fee anyways). can someone that has played the game extensively(beyond beta) chime in on if its worth it or not? -------------- also unrelated - our 1,000 post on linustechtips. feels good

So I just got a physical copy of The Elder Scrolls Online because downloading the game would take forever on my internet connection. Updating and playing games online usually works just fine, but downloading full games can take a while! This is why I went with the physical copy of the game. Installing the game off of the 4 disks didn't take very long, but I am not downloading an update. My question is this: How big is this update? It says it is about 1.4 GB and I currently have 970 MB left, but it says I am only at 1%. Are there more updates? Any info would be great. This is an awesome forum community!

So, since beta I have been running Elder Scrolls Online at Ultra settings, never seeing much below 30 fps, and usually around 60 on average. This is with an AMD FX-8350 CPU and an NVIDIA GeForce GTX 760 SC GPU. My system should have no problem with these settings, except maybe in ultra-high populated areas, but today I installed a brand new Corsair H100i and my frames dropped to around 20 on average, and 15 when people were around. Medium settings still didn't have me back to my previous rates (only up to 40ish). I've checked over and over on connections and can't find anything wrong. Now at ultra the GPU is idling around 40 degrees Celsius and the CPU is around 10, which is bothering me because I feel like it's not trying and thats why my FPS dropped, but maybe I'm just not used to this water-cooled thing yet. And no, I haven't OC'ed anything yet, still at 4.0 ghz.

Hey Techies! I'm not sure if I'm actually allowed to recruit people on here? So sorry if this is naughty... Basically: We are a guild that set up in the Beta and have a promise to our members for access when the game is released. We are recruting more (NA) Have a visit of our web page, we have a guild radio as well - which is the main reason for this post. Any information needed, gimmie a comment. So: Visit website Listen to Radio (top of page, press pause button at left to stop overplay music) ??? Profit http://vintersuns.wix.com/wintersons
