Hello everyone. This will be a long message just to make you understand what the problem is. Thanks for your patience. I have Lenovo Ideapad Z575 laptop with AMD A8-3500M APU with AMD Radeon HD 6620G as integrated graphics and AMD Radeon HD 6650M as discrete one. My operating system is currently Windows 10 LTSC 1809 (doesn’t really make sense actually, the same thing happens on brand new Windows 10 Pro 22H2 from Microsoft’s website too). My discrete graphics AMD Radeon HD 6650M gives me an error code 43 in device manager. Recently installed Lenovo’s OEM graphics driver for my laptop just because the other ones doesn’t work. The graphics driver from AMD’s official website doesn’t install at all while performing a clean installation (Catalyst Software Suite just installs HDMI driver, PCI bus, AMD CCC and something else but not the driver itself). The same thing happens with AMD Auto-Detect Tool too. Once it used to install well but gave me “No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the driver is not functioning properly”. It also installed well while using Lenovo’s graphics driver but gave me the same error. Used to work well on Windows 7 Ultimate just before I reinstalled it and installed Windows 10. Windows Update driver also used to work excellent before I accidentally closed my laptop during World of Warcraft: Wrath of the Lich King game session. After I opened it later the game became very laggy. Right before the accident I had stable 60 FPS but after I opened my laptop the game has 20-30 fps. I tried to reboot my PC but after it booted up the BSOD occurred. I don’t clearly remember what the error was but then my laptop restarted and booted up normally. The problem remained the same. I’ve decided to set power saving mode for the game and FPS became higher (like 45-58) but it’s still quite low for me. After I installed the different version of Windows 10 (I also reinstalled it many times before) Windows Update graphics driver crashed the system completely. Right after it installed the BSOD “KERNEL MODE HEAP CORRUPTION” occurred. Then, after the laptop restarted automatically “PAGE FAULT IN NONPAGED AREA” BSOD occurs. When the system restarts one more time infinite BSOD loop of “BAD POOL CALLER” won’t let me enter the system right until the system repair starts automatically. Then it the system boot up well but the keyboard and touchpad stop working. The only way to use the system normally is to reinstall it, disable auto driver installation via system properties tab and gpedit.msc, then hide driver update using Microsoft Hide or Show Updates Tool and install Lenovo OEM graphics driver. Lenovo’s graphics driver for my laptop seems to work well but there are some problems. First of all, it’s quite outdated (2012, while the AMD’s driver is 2015). It also has less functions in Catalyst Control Center. Only few tabs like AMD Processor Overclocking which are not useful for me at all. But the main thing is that it gives me error code 43 near my discrete graphics AMD Radeon HD 6650M which prevents me from using it. I tried to perform a clean installation of Lenovo’s driver but there’s no result at all. I’ve also contacted AMD because of “No AMD graphics driver is installed, or the driver is not functioning properly” and they gave the solution including performing clean installation of AMD’s driver and using AMD Compatibility Tool. After I’ve told them that the executable file doesn’t install the driver itself and they suggested me to install Lenovo’s OEM graphics driver. Also posted the topic on Lenovo’s and AMD’s forum but they didn’t helped me at all. Recently read in the internet that patching the graphics device using AMD Clock Patcher and flashing the VBIOS using AMDVBFlash Tool. First of all, AMDVBFlash Tool doesn’t run at all but just opens CMD. I also couldn’t find the VBIOS for AMD Radeon HD 6650M. When I open GPU-Z and select my discrete graphics it says the BIOS version is unknown while on my integrated graphics it says the exact BIOS version. I really wanted to try this solution because it seems really useful to me. Thank you for reading all that. Would be really grateful if you could solve my problem. First of all, I want to make AMD or Windows Update driver working well. But at the very least, I would be really happy if my discrete graphics could work well without error code 43 in device manager.

I am a broke 20 year old and need advise. There are several GPUs on Ebay and such, that have "for parts/not working" tagged to them. They have descriptions such as, "error code 43" and "no output on screen" and are at REALLY low prices. Would it be worth the gamble to buy a GPU with these descriptions from a reputable seller? If so, what prices would be worth it? For reference, there are a 980Ti(no output) and a GTX 1060(error code 43) with other better ones as well. I am extremely tech savvy and can work my way around a wire or two. Thanks in advanced:)

How risky is it to by a card that has an error code 43? How likely is it that the card it self is faulty ? I've a MSI rtx 2070 for sale that has error code 43 the seller says it works fine in Windows and browsing the internet but when he tries to play a game and it puts load on the GPU it gives him error code 43. He says he bought it from his neighbour that used it for gaming and thought he could just slap it in his mining Rig and it would work Idk if that's a true story but the price is pretty good and I think it's worth the risk depending on what advice I get from you guys and if not I can sell it as parts only and probably get my money back He sent me pictures the card looks fine, no damage So idk What do you think?

Hi! I bought an ASUS Gaming Computer from NewEgg in November 2020 with the NVIDIA GeForceTX 3070 already installed. For the first month or so, I used the computer for VR gaming with the Steam Valve Index. Not knowing much about VR, I plugged in my monitor to the Intel built-in display driver, but I plugged my headset into the NVIDIA GeForce graphics card. All worked fine... for 30 days. After experiencing multiple issues, I tried updating the graphics card driver using NVIDIA GeForce experience. Again, things worked fine for a couple days, but I now get absolutely no signal to my VR headset, although the USB connection seems to be working according to Steam. Today, I have my monitor plugged into the GeForce graphics card hoping it might work again, and it does work for my monitor HDMI connection with pink/purple dots and dashes all across the screen. I followed this website's instructions, but nothing seems to be working: https://appuals.com/fix-nvidia-code-43-windows-stopped-device-reported-problems/ Here are the steps I've followed so far to try and remedy the situation: 1) Checked that the graphics card is pushed in and installed (Yup! Using it right now, albeit with a bad driver) 2) Uninstalled the NVIDIA graphics card, NVIDIA GeForce Experience program, and NVIDIA Audio Drivers 2) Booted into Safe Mode and ran DDU per this article and then restarted the machine 3) Reinstalled drivers with GE Force Experience Nothing working. Computer manufacturer: ASUSTeK Computer Inc. Motherboard Model: PRIME Z390-P

Hey everyone! It's me again facing this odd error 43 on my Asus K555L with Nvidia GeForce 940M graphics. Scenario 1: Whenever I restart the laptop after a fresh install of Windows 10, everything works fine with the iGPU. But when the automatic updates kick in, it downloads the Nvidia drivers for the 940M and when it is installed, the computer restarts and shows nothing (same thing happened after manually installing the latest Nvidia Drivers). The screen is lit up but it's just a black screen. I repeated the process several times and still goes displays a back lit black screen. I then proceeded with installing Linux distros but the same thing happened, a black screen with its backlight on. After a few days of testing with software, I proceeded on doing something Louis Rossman would smack me in the head for. Yes! I tried heating the GPU and its memory. Scenario 2: So I've heated the the GPU and its memory. I tried a fresh install of Windows 10 and all went fine. Then I installed the latest Nvidia drivers. Please check the images I've attached. This didn't happen previously. The laptop is running on iGPU while the Nvidia drivers were installed. In Scenario 1 this would only be a back lit black screen. But to my surprise the OS has disabled the 940M GPU due to Error Code 43 and continues to be usable. My Thoughts Has anyone experienced this before? Has anyone ever tried to fix this successfully with or without the magical power of a heat gun? Please let me know how I could remedy this (aside from just using the iGPU). I've tried installing and reinstalling drivers & various operating systems. DDU has always been there during Safe Mode. Any help provided is highly appreciated.

So I currently own a Lenovo Legion Y530 with a Nvidia GTX 1050 Ti. I’ve owned this laptop since August 2018, it’s worked flawlessly until around January 2020. One night I was playing Forza Horizon 4, and out of nowhere it blue screened on me. After it restarted, I came back and launched Forza again, but this time it said my PC didn’t meet the minimum requirements. So I went to device manager, and it showed a yellow triangle next to my gtx 1050 ti, with the error code 43. I have done everything I could on that night, uninstalling drivers, reinstalling old drivers, reinstalling new drivers, downloading the latest drivers, BIOS Update, everything I could find. Idk if my graphics card has met its end, I’ve overclocked it but it was a stable one +150 on the core + 500 on the memory idk if my overclock has done me over, since it has been stable since 2018. Help would be greatly appreciated.

Hello, I am currently building a PC for a friend and I seem to have hit a brick wall. The graphics card is having issues. More specifically it's having driver issues. In the device manager I am getting an error code 43 and that windows has stopped the device. Ive tried restarting, reinstalling drivers, ect and no luck. Hoping someone knows about this issue here and can help. If you need more information on the machine, don't be afraid to ask. I'm just pressed for time at the moment and can't supply a list. Thanks!

I need help, after updating to ver. 1709 of Windows 10. My GPU(GTX 970) no longer works, it is still recognized by the OS. But it doesn't work, the GPU physically lights up and the fans spin. In addition, I have used Driver Display Uninstaller, I have reinstalled the latest drivers, and have also tried every driver that supports Fall Creator's Update, I've updated the BIOS, I swapped in a different GPU and that GPU which also got error code 43, I've tried different slots on my motherboard. I spent 3 hours with Nvidia live chat, and still have the issue. What should I do? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated. Image of what device manager says will be attached Specs: GTX 970 Asus Strix, Intel i7 4770k, Asus Z87-Plus
