So I am looking to do my first watercooled build after the holidays. I have everything laid out in part picker and all my loop components on EK. I am hoping someone can confirm that the EK -RES X3 150 will fit at the end of a Titan XP with an EK waterblock, I am seeing a lot of conflicting info and I really want the res mounted on the res bracket between the MOBO and the HDD cages. Can anyone help? http://pcpartpicker.com/list/GWkgzM Thanks

I've recently found myself a little disappointed with my R5, it's just super cramped inside and I miss the clean look I had with my s340. I've been thinking of transferring my main PC components to the Enthoo Primo and switching my NAS from the HAF 932 to the R5. I would have already bought the Primo if it wasn't so expensive, something just doesn't sit right paying that much for a case. Any thoughts, experiences, or opinions would be awesome. Thanks, TidaLWaveZ

Hey! I'm modding my Phanteks enthoo primo and I want to change the blue LED's that are on the side of the chassis to cool white ones. I've found some LED's that fits, but they are not available anymore. I've spend hours looking for some similiar, but I cannot find any. Does anyone know where I can find some similiar? Here's a link to the LED's that fit: http://www.ebay.com/itm/370842386589

Apologies for the noob questions. Fairly new to PC building and working with some expensive components so want to get as much advice as as possible. I'm about to mount a Corsair h110 CPU cooler inside an Phanteks Enthoo Primo rev2. I'm planning on putting it in the top, exhausting air out the top of the case, perhaps in push/pull as the rest of the case is dust filtered so should not be too much of a pain to clean. I'm wondering if anyone has views as to what the ideal arrangement of fans might be for this situation? Motherboard is an ASUS X99 Deluxe, CPU is a 6960X, EVGA GTX 980 reference SC with backplate, RAM is GSkill 4x8GB sticks, 32GB 2800 speed. Computer will be used as a workstation for After Effects and Premiere, and possibly some gaming. So will be oveclocking it a bit but not going for anything extreme. Want it to be stable and run on the cool/quiet side. Realize the case is a bit overkill, as are some of the componenets, but want room for expansion of possible custom loop and large internal raid array in the future. Also wanted to get the higest end CPU just to grasp that level for once, and now seems like a good time to do it compared to when the 3960X was the big boy. Sorry for digressing...I also need all of the HDD cages left inside as they will likely all be filled, as will the optical bays eventually. I have the five 140mm fans included with the case, 2 x 140 fans from the h110, and also 2-3 more 120mm fans I could throw in. I'm thinking of this: h110 with 2 x 140mm fans exhausting out of the top (or with push/pull) 2 x 140mm intake fans in front. 1 x 140mm exhaust out of the top-back of the case. 2 x 140mm intake from bottom of the case. And could then the extra 120mm fans I have to the top or side panel on rear if needed? As exhaust? I'm also a bit confused about Phantek's fan controller. Do I need to plug its molex power into my PSU? It seems to allow for PWM fan control for all fan from BIOS. Which would be ideal. But do I plug in the h110 fans into it as well, and then just make one connection from that to the CPU fan header? Goal being that all fans spin up/down as needed depending on CPU temps? The mobo BIOS allows for PWM control of four fans too so I'm thinking safer to have the 2-4 fans on the h110 plugged directly into the CPU fan header, then all of the case fans going to the Primo's controller before chaining that to one of the other fan hubs on the mobo? Any ideas? Particularly concerned about plugging so many fans into the case's fan controller as heard a few reports of the them catching on fire...=[ Picture of the case is here. Thank you for your time!

This may have been solved and I didn't scroll far enough but I just got my shiny new Enthoo Primo. I have an H100i that I plan on using in my new build until I get the funds to start my first watercooling loop. That being said Phanteks has included a fan hub in their case and I want to make sure I understand how this works as well as its compatibility. I know I can plug all my fans into but does that include the fans on the H100i or do I need to leave those plugged into the pump housing? Also does the PWM lead coming from fan hub can it be plugged into any pwm header on my new motherboard or does it need to be the cpu header which is currently used by the H100i of course. I have an asus x99 pro and was curious. Any help would be great apprecaited I love the idea of everything being controlled through the hub but if not possible I can used the link software for my H100i and the Asus fan control for the rest. Thanks for any help you might have!

After going to x2 GTX 970 G1's over my previous 580 SLI Hydro Copper 2's I've had to mount my res+pump on the exterior of my Phantom 830, and I am still craving space for my 360 & 240 rads. Next month I'm throwing in a 750 SSD + hyperkit and space/wire management is going to get even harder. I'd also like room to go push/pull on the 360x80mm...because, well...80mm  The SP120's have a hell of a time getting adequate airflow through it w/out being pinned at 2200RPM, the fan mounting brackets on the 830 also introduce a fair bit of noise due to their flimsiness. My main question: Is there ANY case out there that can compete in the Enthoo Primo's price bracket ($230 USD) while maintaining the same size and useful space on the interior? I wish I could afford a Caselab offering, or even the 900D, but both are well north of $300 shipped. Max budget would be ~$275

This may have been answered before but which case do you prefer? Enthoo Primo or Enthoo Luxe? I have my watercooling plan on my previous topic. http://linustechtips.com/main/topic/236464-750d-vs-phanteks-enthoo-luxe-for-watercooling/ According to the picture in this topic I will not be adding a radiator in front. Only on the top. Thank you!

Hey guys. So I've decided to make a new build plan after doing a bit more research into what I really wanted out of my PC. I live in Australia and I've decided to not place a budget on the build. That being said I'm not going to go out of my way to pay ridiculous amounts of money for only a slight improvement. However I will be trying to get high quality parts that will fulfill my needs. The aim of this build is to have a great looking Red/Black themed PC capable of achieving 120fps in the latest games and a solid PC for light Photoshop/Rendering and internet browsing. I plan to initially purchase a high refresh rate 1080p monitor for use with competitive gaming and then using 1~2 more monitors that I already own, just for browsing the internet and doing other things in the background. Case: Phanteks Enthoo Primo Motherboard: Asus Maximus VI Hero CPU: Intel i7-4770k GPU: Asus R9 290 DirectCU II OC RAM: Corsair Vengeance Pro Red, 8gb (2x4GB) @1600mhz PSU: Corsair AX860i Platinum CPU Cooler: Corsair H100i HDD: Seagate Barracuda - 2TB 7200RPM SSD: Samsung 840 EVO - 120GB Monitor: BenQ XL2420TE 24" 144hz Headphones: Beyerdynamic DT990 Pro 250 OHMS DAC/AMP: Fiio E10 Mouse: ROCCAT Kone Pure Optical Keyboard: Corsair RGB - Cherry MX Brown Fans: 2x Corsair SP120 for mounting on the h100i, 1x AF140 for back exhaust and 2x AF140 Red LED for the front intake. Total Price = Roughly $3300 AUD. I'm planning to do some light modding with the case, such as redoing the Blue LED down the front to change it to hopefully a RGB LED (if it fits) or at least a Red LED. Once this build is all done I'll probably pick up a second R9 290 to crossfire and then research into doing a custom water-loop, although this is going to be a little while after the initial build. If you have any questions/recommendations on any parts feel free to say

So I'll be going for a silent water cooling build with an Enthoo Primo. I will be adding two R9 290X Lightning GPU's/GTX 880's in the near future depending on how long I can put up with my 7950 and 1080p monitor. Here's what I have so far, excluding fans and coolant:

So, I want some personal opinions for my build (real soon, probably a week or two) should I buy the Define R4 or the Enthoo primo? Now, I know one is much bigger and more expensive but I can't decide between the two. What do you guys think?

Hello all, just thought I would post up the unboxing I did for the new case from Phantek, the Enthoo Primo. This is a MONSTER of a case & my build probably doesn't use its full potential...yet. But I'll be working on that :-) So here's the unboxing & review, I hope you all enjoy & please let me know what you all think. Sincerely, ElegantMess http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=dLeLBt_JUpA

I will be getting an Enthoo Primo next week, pretty excited about it, but I have a silly question. For the PWM Fan hub, did you guys connect it to the Mobo? Or to a 5.25 fan controller? I heard Linus mention something about checking the Phanteks site for compatibility of the hub and the mobo. I checked, but could not find anything about hub and mobo compatibility, unless I heard wrong. I'm running a Maximus VI Hero. Thanks for reading!

So im building my first pc and this is the first installment im going to buy. the second will be graphics card and then monitor followed by water cooling. After that just random b***** im gonna waste money on like speakers and never use.http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=wish_lists&wlcId=215252&action=wish_lists i can't wait any longer because its taking forever to gather the money up so i am gonna buy it in installments plus i have some codes on steam which are inevitably soon going to expire. Yes I know the ram is overkill but it looks good and this is an enthusiast water cooling build(well it will be soon). tell me what you guys think and it there are any problems or things of the like. I am gonna probably pre order it by wednesday or the end of next week (the whole build) just so nothing goes out of stock or they run out of pre-orders for the case or something stupid like that. I currently have $1800 in bank and right now this will cost me 1896 with shipping on the dot. i will have more than that next week so will preorder then. thanks.

Phanteks Enthoo Primo - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&products_id=25558 Corair 750D - http://www.pccasegear.com/index.php?main_page=product_info&cPath=25_961&products_id=25189 Just looking to get other peoples opinions and some pros vs cons. Personally i think the Primo has way more useful features and would be a better option not even being more expensive really since you get 5 (high quality from what ive heard) fans valued at over $20 each. but let me know what you guys think. Interested in what other people think.

Fallen in love with the Phantek Enthoo Primo, and am considering an NZXT Kraken X61, however will this fit in the top mounting? NZXT Kraken X61: 140 x 140 x 25mm (280?) Phantek Enthoo Primo Top: Upto 480 I do find these numbers a little confusing, but does this mean the X61 will fit with plenty of space to spare or is this 480 after a lot of internals have been removed (always dubious when I see "upto" in the sentence) Thanks in advance!

Hello everyone, I have two questions and it will be awesome if anyone of you can help me out. 1. Does the enthoo primo support a 140 mm quad radiator in the bottom? 2. The primo has plugs that a phanteks led fan can be plugged into, is their a splitter so that I can out two led connectors from two phanteks fans into?

Hello, looking for some quick buying/compatibility advice! Putting together the following build but not sure about the PSU. It's probably the element I have least knowledge about so would appreciate any advice. Mainly wondering if I will be able to plug in all of the following hardware and have enough cables left to plug in possibly 9-12 drives, as will be aiming to put a raid array in the 5.25 bays. Looks like the Coolermaster Vanguard 850 only comes with 2x3 sata cables, so wondering if I'll need to buy an additional cable of some kind, or an ugly converter of some sort? If so please advise what might work best. Realize the PSU / Case are a tad big for the build but want room to expand drives, watercooling, and GPUs. Thanks!
