If you guys know any tutorial showing how to do this please post it below, i've been trying to do it myself but unsuccessful. Example video: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=EbPfzvq1wWU&index=29&list=PLVGT_7RQui0EUJUKxqJbeGsFlzZWCXiz7 The effect i want starts at 00:07 and end at 00:28. I searched for tutorials, but couldn't find any or maybe i searched the wrong way. He just somehow made the selected area big and then small again without making the whole thing big or small....

So basically, could I connect two Hue+'s to my system and have it work with its Cam software? I want to have two, because one Hue+ will only work with a maximum of 8 RGB lighting stripe. In my case 8 stripes won't be enough. So my question comes back to will two Hue+'s work with the Cam software, alongside syncing the RGB lighting for both Hue+'s?

Huh... I was able to get the digital download (from XBox Marketplace [gold]) for a deep discount. While it's NOT a Witcher3 level of open world experience, it does have some positive aspects that I like. Is it a Star-Trek-GalaxyQuest-Orgy-Space-Opera? Oh yeah. Does the decision tree glitch out and provide nebulous choices? For sure. Is the uncanny valley evident in their faces? Uh huh. The reviews at Gameranx are in line with what I'm seeing. It's NOT the dumpster fire that I was expecting. If the first MassEffects are ever upgraded and ported to XB1 (like the fantastic Metro series), I'll do myself a favour and play those.

How to make that fade effect like in LTT theme music?

Hey guys, I'm kinda frustrated with Blender 2.79. How do I apply a Quick Smoke effect? I created a flow object, added quiick smoke and baked it. The question is, how do I save the smoke at that point foreveeeer. I don't wanna handle the smoke effect every time I restart the project. As soon as I apply the smoke effect modifier, the smoke disappears. Help, please. Helge Screenshot http://prntscr.com/nw99hk

I never use the keys on my numpad, and I wanted to make it useful. Is there a program that can change my mic effects with these keys so I can sound different on discord?

I'm dogging my way through Mass Effect: Andromeda on my console. This is my first Mass Effect experience. Yes, yes, yes. I know. It's a crappy game. Weird broken bits in the Research. Landmarks that blink in and out of existence. Sudden lag. Illogical decision trees. Frustrating combat system. Made by EA. Its moments of visual brilliance keeps sucking me back in. May I have OTHER SUGGESTIONS from the forum? Ideally, I'd like a Witcher3 (my ideal go-to game for visually-pleasing/RPG/FPS/well-crafted-game) in outer space. Thanks in advance, eh.

Background story upcoming. Skip one empty line if you only want to read the main questions. So, earlier this week I finally received my water cooling kit. When I went on to mount the radiator, though, I discovered I cannot fit both rad and fans on the inside, because it hits various parts on the motherboard. Thus, I had the idea of mounting the rad externally (because 1: I would rather have the rad visible than the fans, and 2: One fewer source of possible unfortunate leak inside the case). Now, this is where most people would go the easy route and mount the radiator on the roof because it feels like the obvious choice for this. However, I began to think. When I first heard of push-pull, I immediately thought it meant airflow going in opposite directions through the fan slots (so on a 2-slot it could be both exhaust and intake, on 3-slot two intakes or two exhaust and so on). That led me to look at the fan slot on my side panel. Before I do anything possibly wrong, I would like to hear your opinions. (Illustrations will be added and hopefully visible and clear) 1) Will mounting the rad on the panel with my aforementioned understanding make for good cooling, or do I risk choking the fans? 2) To begin with, I only plan to cool my GPU. Would passive cooling from a dual 120mm rad be sufficient, or will the water overheat? 3) Would it be fine to mount the rad on the side and with only one fan on the inside? Thanks for any helpful advice! (Edit: Corrected a wrong illustration)

Greetings, I've recently been learning to use Sony Movie Studio 13 to edit a few videos I've been filming with my band, as well as a few shots of my neighbourhood. However, back when I used iMovie, text effects were something I used a lot. However, while trying to preview one of the text effects I've applied, even at the lowest preview quality, the preview lags to the point that I can't even tell what the effect looks like. What's more peculiar is that using Task Manager and MSI Afterburner, I can't see a spike in CPU or GPU usage at all. The only time usage ramps up is when I'm rendering the finished project- never while editing. Is this a common problem with Sony Movie Studio? Or is my computer simply not providing adequate readings? I'd appreciate any help on the subject. Regards, Aereldor.

(figured posting here might be better since my general idea is to get the best air cooling I can out of my parts) Info to consider This is my build, the GPU I have is the 1GB version of whats shown in the list (got it at NCIX but its not sold anymore) http://ca.pcpartpicker.com/p/ZvmX4D as reference to my parts. Fan placement having little to no effect? In this picture here, http://puu.sh/m38EN/6f74b80e93.jpg , I have my 2 budget fans pretty much side-by-side, I physically reversed one so it blows in and one blows out, the Fan 1 blows out, the Fan 2 blows in. Would the push or pull and placement pretty much be a waste of time in this position? I got no fan controller so I can't monitor their effectiveness but they seem to hit max frequently. Purchase help- AMD FX-6300 has the stock cooler, the low budget- I'm talking no price range just "Low" preferably as low as you can go, trying to keep room for a new GPU. The CPU is going to need a worth while upgrade, it's really taking a beating on high settings at the moment on certain crap-quality MMO's (Currently been playing Dragomon hunter but getting massive flickering, my fans turn into Turbine/Jets even with lowered Quality) I'm currently looking for an upgrade for a GPU, but with budget and keeping the entire PC cool, to avoid melting it, I'd like to find out what GPU is the best choice- But to make things far more simple, I'm looking at a GTX 960 with 4GB, or an equivalent AMD card of 4GB or higher. The issue here is my power supply is an EVGA 430w and it as well seems to be taking in quite a bit of heat under load when i checked tonight. I heard the GTX 980Ti G1 gaming is a mere whisper under load, but that's not something I can get so the next best thing to a whisper quiet, fairly high performance GTX 960 4GB would be? Budget idea(two lowest priced 380/960 cards on PC Part Picker) Gigabyte GV-R938G1 GAMING-4GD Radeon R9 380 4GB 990MHz = $315.24 Gigabyte GV-N960OC-4GD GeForce GTX 960 4GB 1.22Ghz = $317.50 If either of those fit the bill, then the budget could work around that. Total budget is roughly 400$

A group of 6 canadians from Vancouver have started an indiegogo campaign in order to raise 15,000 CAD for their fan based movie which combines the worlds of Star Trek, Star Wars, Halo and Mass Effect. "Experience What Happens When Worlds Collide" - Nick Romick, producer They already created a little teaser Video: And in this video Nick Romick talks about the movie: https://www.youtube.com/watch?t=72&v=rR6yB7m4aJA Here's a written summary of what Galactic Battles is: ____________________________________________________________________ Hi. My name is Nick Romick. I’m the producer of the non-commercial Open Movie Project, ‘Galactic Battles’. The film is technically classified as a Fan-Film, and features ships and characters from Star Trek, Star Wars, Mass Effect and Halo. This mashup film will pit the franchises against each other, as well as build alliances with each other in one intense inter-galactic battle. We are going to take this one step further, by introducing live action, including the Mass Effect character of Commander Shepard being played by Mark Meer. This project means a lot to me and the Project Team, as we love Sci-Fi, Visual Effects and are very passionate about what we do. We have put a lot of blood, sweat and tears into this project so far, and we plan on putting a lot more into it. We currently have a team of about 20 artists, 2 sound designers, have cast several actors (including Mark Meer from Mass Effect), 1 dedicated screen-writer, 2 social media coordinators and many more. Everyone working on the project is working on passion (for free), which is the reason we are able to produce a movie-quality film for a minimal budget. With the help of contributors like you, we can finish this project on schedule. We have plans to continue regardless of budget, but our current schedule needs money right away. If fully funded, this project will be complete by the end of 2015. (We've really planned this out) Once complete, we plan on releasing this film free-to-view on YouTube and Vimeo. _________________________________________________________________ Sorry, quote brackets didn't work on this one In the 2nd Video he talks about his plans a little bit more detailed. It seems like he already has some major sponsors on board like AMD, Nvidia, Chaos Group, Shotgun Auto Desk and more. Apperantley the group has been working on this project for a year now and has been growing steadily. I personally think this is an aweome idea allthough the movie might suffer from ow production value. Nontheless I'm excited to see it, especially because it will be released for free on YouTube. source for the campaign: https://www.indiegogo.com/projects/galactic-battles-open-movie-project source for an explanation blog how they are trying to avoid copyright infringements: http://www.galacticbattles.net/blog/

Dead Effect.... a really surprising game, ok it is not for everyone, it is kinda slow paced and it requires you to aim accurately. Coming from Counter Strike to this? it's bloody brilliant The graphics are nice for an indie title, plus the music is very good. It is also challenging, so do not think you can go in and drop a 1 bomb on all the enemies... hell no! Grab this on the Steam sale whilst you can... worth everything and more!

Hello is it possible to final render a non ray traced composition using the GPU not the CPU in Adobe after effects CS6 and CC?
-
This question is mostly focussed on OC'ing GPU's. There are a lot of variations of the same GPU when you get a stock one. But when OC'ing, what is the effect of buying a card with a higher BCLK than others? (which are usually more expensive than the others). Also what is the effect of the Boost Clock? Image above are Stats from Stock Retail GPU's, Not Overclocked

Intel 5820K NCIX: http://bit.ly/1COdYYm Amazon: http://geni.us/1s7A Intel 5930K NCIX: http://bit.ly/1rcNs2d Amzon: http://geni.us/jvZ PCIe lanes have, surprisingly enough, a pretty big impact on CPU prices. So, is there a tangible benefit to purchasing a CPU with more lanes when running, let's say, 4 NVIDIA GTX 980s in SLI?

Look at 9:50 in this . I wanna know what the name of that sound effect is. It sounds like the menu selection sfx from Marvel vs Capcom 2 on PS2, or some other select sfx from MvC2. I'm using Windows 7, so if they were using 8 it may not be on my install by default. When I go under C:\Windows\Media you can see all these folders with collections of .wav sound effects. From what I can tell none them are the one from the video. Is it true that only .wav files will work? So no MP3s, MP4s, FLAC,etc?

So, I have noticed in multiple games now that when I start to move my character, and the camera moves, there is a strange outline around objects and the contrast drastically changes. I do have a 144Hz monitor, which I run at 120Hz, the ASUS VG248QE. I have two evga gtx 780 SC ACX cards in sli, which have no problem running the games. I noticed this effect occurred before I got the second card, but only noticed it when I started gaming at higher than 60 fps. The odd thing is, when I set the monitor to 60Hz the problem still persists. I'm wondering if this is a monitor problem, game problem, or GPU problem, but can't wrap my head around it. Also, it doesn't happen in all games, but notable ones are payday 2 and dark souls 2, while games like bioshock infinite and borderlands 2 look great at 120Hz without the odd outline and contrast problem. Thanks for any help you can provide.

A Montage Needs to Receive Smooths (Smooths = The pulsating slowing and accelerating of footage in an edit) The Beat: *__+__*__+__*__+__*__+ * = Bass + = Snare At each + a shot has to be fired. The video has been synced for that already. At each * the video should be slowed down to a exact unit "a%" using Twixtor. It has to be accelerated until + for the next shot. This digit at + is expressed through "b%" Find "a%" at * (a low digit representing slow motion) and "b%" at + (a high digit representing fast motion) If this would be easier with a concrete number, we'll say a = 30% Help is greatly appreciated, since I'm not the best at math. Thanks.

This video is a great watch for anyone interested in Audio. It will dispel quite a few myths about the human ears and sensory perception. As well as dodgy products. http://www.youtube.com/watch?v=BYTlN6wjcvQ It is also quite amusing and those who already know a lot of it will still be entertained. Skip to 32minute if you want to see what SNR is. and how it effects audio quality. Skip to 41:15 to see why sound cards are not what they are cracked up to be.
