So I'm in the market for a chair, £300 ($350) budget. I'm looking at brands like dxracer and maxnomic not because "they have gaming on it" but because the reviews look good and they actually look comfy. Aswell as this I'm quite tall so I need a bit more support. If anyone has an good chairs that they would personally recommend, that would be much appreciated. Don't care if it is gaming or not but something black would be nice Thanks!

Hi, I'm a big lover of LED lights and the DXRacer OH/RL1/NR delivers LED on a gaming chair. However, it is out of stock and seems to not even exist on the DXRacer website (to find it on the DXRacer website, you have to actually Google "DXRacer RL1"). Does anyone know when this will be fixed? I'm new to the "PC gaming scene" and I have close to zero idea of how fast companies like DXRacer make more of their products for their costumers. Perhaps this item doesn't even exist since I had to Google it? Confused. Thanks for the help!

Hello forum! I have recently decided to purchase a new gaming chair, because my current chair has no back support and has minimal cushioning. I was thinking about getting a dxracer classic series, but reading around, I thought it may not be tall enough for me. I'm 6' 1'' with an athletic build, so I was wondering if the classic series would fit me well, or if I need to get an iron series or boss series. Thanks for the help!

Hi LTT, Boxing day is almost there, I've been searching for worth the bucks kind of gaming chair for better comfort as I always feel sore using a chair that doesn't support my back which is a cheap chair from Canadian Tire. I'm 6 ft tall and weights at almost 200 lbs. I've seen some couple of chairs like Maxnomic Dominator, Vertagear SL-5000 and DXRacer King Series. Budget is about $500CAD and I really like the Maxnomic Dominator, It looks like I'm paying more because of the shipping fee that comes with it which is $99USD. I know Vertagear is on-sale right now at Bestbuy and Gaming Chairs at amazon is pretty much out of stock (The one's I'm kind of looking at). I'm from vancouver and I know LTT/LMG are from Surrey so any luck getting help here maybe by helping out get that Maxnomic Dominator or Any better way to get that Vertagear SL-5000 or PL-6000? Thanks

There is a sale on both, I like the features etc more on the DXRacer. The only thing is that I have only tried and liked the seat of the Arozzi which has a foam density of 40-45kg/m3. While the DXRacer have 50kg/m3. I am afraid the DXRacer will be much firmer. People say they feel the difference between the Racing and king series which is only 4kg/m3 higher. I'm thin AF, and tall. Any experience with these numbers or chairs in practice anyone? I generally have little experience with chairs, mine is 9 years old and literally breaking my body atm. I don't have much money and these two chairs are on sale for ish the same price. and the only chair i can physically test was the Arozzi Verona Pro V2 and some other ADX chairs which felt literal shit to sit in ime, i would like some uhm, non-gaming/racing thing chair but as long as its comfortable and wont destroy me i'm fine. I have actually ordered both, and i'll have to call up Monday morning and cancel one of them, but i can't decide which one. :3 All replies are appreciated!

Hi guys! So I was looking to buy a gaming chair for a price around $275-$400. I want it to be soft, like soft as in the softest of gaming chairs. I could also go for a good office chair if anyone wants to recommend one. But preferably a gaming chair because of how it will go with my setup and how the vast majority of them are high back which I greatly prefer and tend to have have more adjustable options which I also prefer. I was looking mainly at Vertagear and Maxnomic but couldn't decide because I couldn't tell by just looking at them how soft they will be. So if anyone wants to recommend one of those brands or a specific chair (gaming or office) it would be GREATLY appreciated. Thank you so much! (red and black would be great)

So my birthday is coming up soon and right now im using a plastic dining chair as my desk chair. I spend around 7 hours a day in it and I think its time for an upgrade. I originally found this chair https://www.amazon.com/dp/B073XLDN74/ref=twister_B073XM8WD4?_encoding=UTF8&psc=1 but it is only available on amazon.com and I live in the UK. I eventually found two chairs of the same price (£120)($150?) from the same company (gtforce). chair 1 (fake leather): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B07B9YH93C/?coliid=I2DB622KB731W0&colid=16NMBZRHAEYUF&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 chair 2 (fabric): https://www.amazon.co.uk/dp/B075XMRP92/?coliid=I2QGXR2KM3ZXB3&colid=16NMBZRHAEYUF&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 They both look very comfortable and would suit my needs but is fabric or fake leather better for those kinds of chairs? And has anyone purchased one and know how comfortable they are? Should I even look at chairs from gtforce? Are racing chairs in general any good?

I have a dx racer racing series chair (DOH/RW106). So far, I really love everything about the chair beside the tilt. I accidentally bought the version with a conventional tilt mechanism instead of a multifunctional tilt. Is it possible to buy the base for the multifunctional version and replace it with this one? I don't want to go through returning this chair. The main reason for this is I want to lock the tilt all the way back, but as far as I know, I can't do that with this model. If there is a way to do that, I'd also be open to it.

So my old chair is really falling apart, so it's time to buy a new one. I've done my research and I know that a herman miller, steelcase or whatever is supposedly better than any gaming chair but I'm not going to shell out 600+ euro's on a office chair, and I can't find any secondhand (I'm in the Netherlands). Also they don't look that comfortable imo, the chairs I use at the office aren't very comfortable for me either (they aren't herman miller or steelcase though). So I'm looking at the Maxnomic and DXracer chairs, those seem to be the leaders of the gaming chairs, I don't know if there are any better brands. I hope someone can tell about their experience with those brands. I just want a chair that I can sit in for about 8 hours without feeling a lot of discomfort. I'm about 168cm (5'6) and about 65kg (145lbs), so for Maxnomic I'm looking at the casual sport chairs and the pro gaming chairs, although I'm not sure if the latter would be a bit too big for me. The latter might also have harder cushioning because of the higher weight limit, I'm not sure but that would probably make it more uncomfortable. For DXracer I'm not sure which category would be best for me, their website is pretty chaotic imo. I'm in Europe and saw that the US has totally different models than here in EU. I would assume that the formula or racing series would be the best fit for me. They also have some chairs with a fabric cover instead of a pu-leather one, I'm wondering if that would be more comfortable than a pu-leather one or if it's the opposite. I hope someone can provide me with more information.

So I'm going to upgrade my chair from a crappy 4-legged chair to a gaming chair (wooooow), but I don't know what brand to choose; DXRacer or Maxnomic. Almost every single fucking streamer has a DXracer, but LTT has Maxnomics. WHAT DO I GET?!!?

So I really need a gaming chair I am 5 feet 10 inches and 190 lbs Which one would be better for me?

Hello guys! I am looking for a gaming chair on Amazon and i found a DXracer in a very good price... My only concern is that the weight limit is for 100kg. I am a 1.85cm 115kg person ( c'mon make some jokes ) does that weight limit have an actual problem? Because I really like that chair and the price is perfect! here is the link https://www.amazon.de/dp/B0056YNWVO/ref=dra_a_rv_ff_fx_xx_P2000_1000?tag=dradisplay0b-21&ascsubtag=8e4d3ed180a6e629525999ebde35f6ea_S If also you could make any recomendations for similar chairs? I want cloth instead of synthetic leather and a good neck pillow. Thanks in advance!

hey everybody, so im looking at investing into a proper computer chair and im thinking of a few different options and was just looking for some input, for reference im 6'4 220 lbs give or take. so im pretty much assuming im goign to have to spend like 500-700$ on a chair bc im going to have to buy one of the larger sizes from either company. i have had the chance to sit in a dxracer f series and here are my thoughts 1. i dont love the "wings" on the seat as i feel like they constrict leg movement. and 2. i dont love the wings on the back of the chair either for the same reason, now i realize that i am sitting in a chair that is definitely not recommended for my size but as i live in a smaller town (75k) i dont really have anywhere to go and try out these chairs without driving for a few hours. and also is there any difference between maxonomic and dxracer they both look very very similar. any thoughts or suggestions would be appreciated. Thanks, James

Right i'm looking for a new chair and i'm considering between Dxracer and Need for seat. And please don't suggest high quality office chairs like hermen miller, or others like the IKEA markus because I've tried both of them and the lumber support kills my back. I did think these gaming chairs were a marketing gimmick at first but after trying proper office chairs with little success I'm willing to try a so called "gaming chair" The two brands i see the most are Dxracer and Need for seat. Now i want your opinions on both of these brands, I've heard things like that Need for seat has better comfort and quality but Dxracer has better support and return polices. I'm not really sure since both brands are about 50/50 from all the other forum posts I've read and not just on these forums either. Is there any difference to comfort style, things like foam hardness and what not between Dxracer chairs and Need for seat? I'm under the impression that the gaming chairs are probably comfortable but also rather overpriced at the same time, but i do want to try one as i'm out of options really. I'm about 5 foot 8 and 140 lbs

Yes, I spent $500+ (cdn) on a chair. Yes, it is labeled a “gaming chair”. Yes, in most of cases paying extra money for something that has the word “gaming” attached to it is not worth it. However I do believe that a DXRacer is a bit of an exception but not an entire exception. I didn’t buy a DXRacer because it was what all the streamers are using. No, I bought this because I was unsatisfied with my old $200 Staples office chair. I even went into Staples and sat in all of the chairs there that looked like they might have worked for me. I did my research on chairs and concluded that I would far more happy with a $500 DXRacer than any $300 “Manager’s chair” from staples. Also many of the other chairs out there like LTT’s favorite brand “Maxnomic” are incredibly expensive to get into Canada. Based on DXRacer’s own recommendations between the USA and Canadian guides I determined I should be perfect fit for a Formula series chair. However my chair choice was the “OH/WX0/N” which translates to an all black, Wide Series (W-Series) chair. The chair resembles a more traditional office chair, and is not as restrictive as the true “gaming” chair that DXRacer offers - such as the formula series. Being restricted is a common comment that people make about the Formula series, for some it’s an issue for others it’s not. I was unable to go and sit in one before I bought online so I worried about being restricted. So how is the chair? In comparison to my old chair the DXRacer is far better, I was sitting on two cushions to avoid the plywood base of the old chair. The way you sit and feel in the DXRacer is totally different and almost incomparable to my old chair. You sit on a much firmer surface and the back is considerably more upright and straight and firm. Sitting in this chair is far from sitting on a La-Z-Boy recliner. You do not sink into it like you would with a memory foam mattress, you sit on it. It feels firm but it not like sitting on a hard surface. It is not uncomfortable, but it’s not the same feeling as I’m use to/ was expecting. What I think in the greatest feature of DXRacer and really any chair that has it, is the reclining back. If you feel uncomfortable in one position, just adjust recline on the back until you feel more comfortable. Much like a seat in car, you have the ability to adjust to suit how you want to sit, not how someone wants to sit.Something that is lacking from most office chairs. The armrests follow the adjustable trend, on the Wide series they go up and down, slide forward and back, and the tops swivel I think 15 degrees right and left. I haven’t really needed to use the cushions but I can see that in some seating positions they might come in handy and I have played around a little with them. If you are going to be reclining all the way back, you will likely want the head cushion. The lumbar pillow isn’t for everyone, and it is a bit firm/large for my liking. Overall the is comfortable to sit in for long hours, and it is a real pleasure to be able to adjust to my liking. The Wide series uses similarly dense foam as that of the Formula series line up in case you were wondering. The wide series is meant for heavier people and I’m a very light person, so maybe to a heavier person the chair would not feel as firm as it does for me. The DXRacer is built very well and feels high end. The Polyurethane (PU) leather feels nicer than the Leatherette in my BMW Mini Cooper and a few steps above my old Staples Managers chair. The rest of the chair is built like a tank and the overall weight of the chair is around 50 pounds. The metal base is complete overkill… But I bought a chair that was meant for someone for who weighs around 250Lbs, so much of this chair is over built for me. Assembly was a little awkward for me on my own, just due to lining up the bolts while balancing and adjusting a heavy and large seat back, not really a big deal because it was still a simple job, and so was rest of the process. Complaints Expensive, you could easily produce a chair for less with similar quality and features. Arm rests need to be able to go up another inch or so. Due to the armrests ability to swivel they feel kinda loose, and I find myself swivelling them by accident when I get out of the chair. Limited information available on the chairs on DXRacer’s websites. Box is massive and the heavy… The headrest pillow looks funny. Ordering The Canada site leaves much to be desired in comparison to the USA site. I would highly recommend a Canadian buyer to go onto the USA site for some buying help and information on each chair. While the Canadian site has a nice “buying guide” section, the site lacks all specifications for the chairs, and the info has not been updated to include newer models in their line up. For us Canadians we also get fewer choices of chairs, fewer colour options and older generations of the line up. For example the Iron series in the USA looks totally different than the one DXRacer sells in Canada. For more help DXRacer has a great SubReddit, and a thread where you can ask what chair is best for you and a DXRacer rep will respond. I had no problems with the Purchase or shipping. Chair arrived from Vancouver to Vancouver Island in 2 days. But I wouldn’t expect such fast shipping to everywhere and also don’t expect it to be shipped with Canada Post. (probably a good thing) My conclusion I would never tell anyone that this a bad chair, but I would tell them not to buy it right away. Buying anything with the “gaming” attached to it needs to approached with caution. Do your homework and before you go out and spend $500 on chair or less if you don’t live in Canada or Aus etc, go to staples or Office depot and try out some chairs. That way you might save yourself some money or you have given yourself more justification for spending so much on chair. The flexibility in seating positions is awesome and having a roomy chair is great for me personally. With comfort you really do have to understand that chair the might be very firm feeling depending on your weight. This caught me by surprise and was originally not all that satisfied, but over the past week I have grown to find it quite nice. So you have been warned, it may not be love at first sight but give it a little time to find your spot. I do believe that if you live near a store or DXRacer location or even a friend who owns a DXRacer to go and try it out before you buy just as would if you determined to buy a new regular office chair from staples. Overall, I’m happy with my purchase and I would likely buy another - but I would try it out first. I know this was really long, but I decided to review my chair because there seem to be very few complete or at least somewhat complete reviews of the Wide Series and certainly no reviews from someone who is not really the intended physical size for the chair. Hey This chair has a serious problem with a pipe you sit on that cut off the blood to your leg. Very uncomfortable. I've made a short video to show it. Thanks for listening.

Among the many things I'm upgrading over the next few months, I've decided to replace my PoS chair I got from a friend that is now comprised mostly of tape and superglue. After looking around this forum and a few other places I've found the most prominent brand names to be DXRacer, Herman Miller and Maxnomic. Most of the chairs offered from these brands appear to be somewhat similar in both quality and price, but it's difficult for me to decide which one to go with. RIght now I am leaning more towards Maxnomic for a number of reasons, but I would like some advise on this. While I have found more reviews for DXRacer chairs, they seem a little harder to get in the UK, and with no places in my immediate area to actually test one of them, it's difficult to judge the quality of them for myself. The only local testimony I have is a friend who once tried one. Though the same applies to Maxnomic as I cannot test their chairs either, I have found more people that prefer them over DXRacer. They do seem to offer more diversity in their designs, but that isn't really much of a factor here as I prefer function over form. Herman Miller Aeron chairs look to be in another tier, both in quality and price, which unfortunately makes them out of reach for me. I could always cheap out and get a lower end chair from Ikea/Staples/<insertrandomcompanyhere> but I would prefer to spend a little more now for a more comfortable experience and longevity. As always, any and all suggestions are welcome. Regards, LoT /)

Hi guys, Do you know any good gaming chairs? Seen alot at gaming tournaments these sporty seat chairs. I found them on MAXNOMIC and DXRacer. But don't know which are the best, or maybe there are more to choose from. Linus actually using from MAXNOMIC. I live in Europe, so wanted it to be possible to deliver here. Any suggestions? Thanks.

Hi everyone, I'm currently looking for a new chair and after doing some research I've decided I should either go for a Maxnomic Dominator or a DX-Racer D-Series. I'm 178cm/5'10" tall, 77kg/170lbs, so both chairs should be a good fit and they cost exactly the same(299 euro) + I'm a huge racing/rallying fan so having a racing style chair in my room would be very nice. I know that Maxnomic is slightly larger and has 4D adjustable armrests(Dx-Racer's are smaller and only go up and down), but some people complain about its cushions being too hard. So, which one would you pick? I'm sure there is a bunch of people here who have one of these chairs, I would love to hear your opinion: do you like your chair, is it comfortable, is it worth the price? I would like to add that I'm not interested in another "executive" chair, I've been using these for a few years now and I'm not very satisfied. Also I'm super not interested in any ergonomic chair like ergohuman or herman miller, because they're way too expensive + I dont usually sit in front of my PC for many hours straight + they're hideous. Thanks for any input. Cheers!
