Hello, I need your opinion from the owners of Lian Li Lancool 216 RGB case. Εspecially from those who bought in addition the RGB controller and the front dust filter. Is it worth giving an extra 15$ for the RGB controller and another 15$ for the dust filter? I will use the Asus Prime B660M-A D4 motherboard on this case. I will be able to connect all the fans to the pre-installed hub and then the hub to the fan port and RGB header of the motherboard ? then I will be able to handle the RGB fans using the AURA software ? In case I want to use Lian Li RGB software (Li-Connect 3), will I be able to use it without the RGB controller ? Also, does the front dust filter affect the airflow performance? What is the exact model of the two front rgb fans? I want the same but in 140mm and 120mm.

Hi there all I have a question to ask I bought a second hand case that is in great condition, the previous owner told me that the only missing part is the front 360mm Dust filter. Since there is already a bezel covering the entire front of the case there's not a lot of dust that gets in there. However since I am planning on getting an AIO and considering putting the radiator either on top or in the front I would like to know if I should bother with buying an aftermarket dust filter. There are 3 currently on Amazon but I don't really know the difference between them. I added the links below Thanks for helping out https://www.amazon.com/DEMCiflex-Filter-Alphacool-Radiator-360mm/dp/B01IABYCGS/ref=sr_1_1?ie=UTF8&qid=1494509364&sr=8-1&keywords=360mm+dust+filter https://www.amazon.com/DEMCiflex-Filter-Alphacool-Radiator-360mm/dp/B01IABYG0K/ref=sr_1_2?ie=UTF8&qid=1494509364&sr=8-2&keywords=360mm+dust+filter https://www.amazon.com/DEMCiflex-Filter-Alphacool-Radiator-360mm/dp/B01IABY8KI/ref=sr_1_3?ie=UTF8&qid=1494509364&sr=8-3&keywords=360mm+dust+filter

Okay, so I'm looking to buy some fans that would act as intake fans for my case. The only dilemma is that there will be a dust filter in front of the fans, which brings the question of; Should I go for AF fans or SP fans? I've read that if you have some sort of mesh in front of fans, that it limits their air intake, so SP fans would be best as they're "stronger". My case is a NZXT S340 Elite, and I'm not using a radiator, so the fans would have no obstructions within the case, only the dust filter behind. PS: I was going to buy: Fractal Design Venturi HP-14 PWM Black Case Fan FD-FAN-VENT-HP14-PWM-BK. Also, I am a noob. Thank you to anyone who helps me out.

So, this is my first time cleaning my dust filter. I have the corsair 460x case, as mentioned, and I was just wondering what method would be the easiest to use? Does anyone know if these dust filters are washable at all? Or can I just simply shake the dust out? Also, I haven't actually removed the filters yet since I was uncertain as to how to do it. Can I just unscrew the front or something? Thanks in advance!

So I built a computer a few months ago and the case I used (Coolermaster Master box pro) has 3 front case fans with no dust filters. I bought a few 140mm after market fan filters to try to put on the fans but I have no clear idea of how to do that. I’ve thought about things like electrical tape and tying them to the fans using string but nothing has really worked. Any ideas of what to do? The pics are of the fans without and with the front panel on, and of the filters next to the fans.

Has anyone come up with a really good, professional looking method for adding a filter back there? I've always wanted to do that to one of my cases that has negative pressure, but I don't want to do anything jenky like use zip ties or whatever. I want it to look clean. It doesn't feel like metal so nothing magnetic will work. Is there anything designed specifically for these vents that'll work? Maybe something that sticks on or maybe bolts on through the vent holes? The case I want to do this too is the Corsair 200r

Hello everyone, This has to be the lamest mod ever, I've ordered x20 (used them all) tiny neodymium magnets (6x3mm) so I can attach my front dust filter to the case (front metal mesh) since I broke off all 4 of the plastic clips (right word?) result of the combination of fragile stuff and my clumsiness. So as the title says, will it be safe to put strong neodymium magnets directly over my x2 140mm Corsair fans? I would say they're a good 5-6cm away from the hard drives so I think I'm good there, but the fans concern me the most. Appreciate ya!

Do you guys think that it's worth it to install a dust filter on a PSU? Since I'm going to install it fan downwards in a bottom ventilated case, is it worth it to install a fan filter for the PSU? Most reviews of the model I purchased claim the fan only runs about half of the time, and mounted in this orientation it's mostly in it's own little climate, meaning the dust should be isolated to the psu. However, because it's in a downwards facing Will the filter significantly impact the PSU's longevity in either direction? I plan to put the pc on a wire shelving unit around 6" high, so it has room to breathe at the bottom sufficiently. The case has dust filters for all the intake fans already.

Hello all, In my gaming system I can usually see a lot of dust build up in the case and on the graphics card and I don't really want this. I am planning to add two more fans to the case; one on the front (120mm) and the other one on the side (140mm). I need to find dust filters for 120mm fans and 140mm fans. My currency is £ and I live in the UK, also please use amazon or a trusted UK hardware supplier shop. I don't want to spend much on the filters but I want them to be effective in preventing dust from entering my system. Thanks,

So a couple of months ago I bought the 900D on sale, and it's been great however I've noticed some dust collecting in the system. Its a positive pressure system with the 5 fans intake and 1 exhaust. (Just saving money to do full water loop and X99 till then its pretty bare bones.) All of the dust that is inside the system is around the intakes, with most of the dust being stopped by the front and top mesh filters, but some is still getting through the filters. This is not a big deal since I can just take compressed air to the system but I am wondering if anyone else is having this issue or if its just me. (Never owned a case with dust filters till I bought the 900D so my expectations may be to much.)

The fractal design r5 does not come with a top dust filter. Was wondering if anyone knows a dust filter which would fit at the top of the case. Thanks

I'm trying to keep my PC as dust free as possible since it can get pretty dusty where it will be (build is in progress). The 300r (from what I've seen from reviews) comes with front intake filters and even a bottom filter, but no top panel filter. I've searched a bit and have had no luck on something like a custom cut out filter. I was hoping I could get some suggestions that won't be air flow restricting, but keep dust from falling in from the top panel.

When you have vacuumed your dust filter you realize that the material from your dust filter isn't correctly placed. Vacuuming must have caused it and you were careless like I was so you vacuumed the inner side of the dust filter. Easy and logical guide for placing your dust filter materials back to their original place. Tools: Some kind of card, which you don't need (plastic card recommended, but don't use any valuable cards, such as bank or VISA !) OR other similar kind of objects, which won't damage the soft touch material. ( If you know what other kind of tools you can use, feel free to post!) Something like this. (I have a similar ST1 card, which I don't need so I used it) and then you have the dust filter which material is off the place. I have one of these. (The material is soft touch and while hoovering the inner side it can very easily come off from the corners.) So you just place the card on the corners and push it under it. Don't be too rough with the soft touch material, because you don't want to damage it. Most of you have realized this ages ago, but I just thought that even if there was just one guy whose dust filter material are off the place that this would be worth to post. (Original pictures and used materials will come later on)

Hello yall, I recently purchased a dust filter kit from DEMCifilter SA for my Corsair 350D case. I wanted to try them out, I seen them online and people seem to like them. I will start my experience from the moment I purchased them until I threw them in my case. The website was very easy to navigate, the left menu was a little bit crowded for me and small but I was able to find the Case filter section. After that was really easy to find the Corsair section and my case. I debated on getting only the top and 2 rear filters, the small and the fan ones, but then I decided to buy the full kit. They are in South Africa, keep that in mind, I wanted to buy directly from them but I believe some other companies sell their filter, like FrozenCPU for example but I am not sure if they sell the case kits. I decided to go with the cheapest shipping since it is a little expensive for being international. Payment was thought paypal, I got an email confirmation and everything was great. After a couple of days I realized I had not received a shipping confirmation email and I email them to make sure they had receive the payment. I got a reply and they explained me that the payment was received and that they were having problems with their automated email system, they gave me the tracking information. The package took a week to get to me, I live in the Midwester United States and was delivered by USPS. The package was in good conditions, the filter were encased in a couple of cardboard sheets, wrapped in packing paper and sealed with packing tape. They also came all in individual plastic bags and they were all inside a bigger plastic bag. It made the trip and I was happy to see it. My confusion started when I opened the bag and notices a weird shaped filter, since it did not match the size, shape and description on the website for my kit. It ended up being the front filter. It is not perfectly rectangular and it has some notches in the middle and on the edges. The website has this image as a description of the product: http://www.demcifilter.com/p0423/Corsair-Obsidian-350D-Dust-Filter-Kit.aspx I did not know what to make if it but in my curiosity I went and checked the Corsairs 750D kit since it is a very similar case, just ATX instead of mATX and to my surprise I found the front filter image to be the same shape, but smaller, of the one I received for my 350D. It even had a customer picture that I used to check the orientation of the filter. The front fan also has 2 magnet strips, one with double sided tape that of course you stick to the plastic of the front of the case and has a magnet and the strip that is on the filter itself. I neded up only using the REAR (L), REAR (S), TOP and FRONT filters. I have a Corsair AX860 psu and the fan almost never turns on so I left the original bottom filter of the case and for that same reason I did not use the PSU filter either. The all fit very well, even the top filter. I have an H100i on my case and even with the round head screws the filter sticks to the top very well. That is the only exhaust my case has since I am using the rear fan as an intake too. I sometimes turn my PC off and that is why I want to use the TOP filter, the H100 does not cover the holes on the top completely and I did not want dust to fall into the case thought the holes. The front filter does not hit my fans even without a grill and I am very happy with that. I have variable speeds on my fans and even with the fans on full speed the filter does not give in and it is really easy to peel off and replace. I was impressed because the magnets are really 'low power' I should say and they are easy to peel off and pace back in the case but they don't move, you need to shake the case furiously for the filter to get out of place. They also look nice and are not an eye sore like other filters I have seen. A pic of the front and the top so you guys/gals can see how they look: My only complaints so far are the automated email problems, the items description not being 100% accurate and price, they are a little expensive but I guess you get what you pay for so I will see in a week how they perform. I am leaving my PC on all week with my fans @ 100% to see how much dust they collect and how much dust gets in the case and I might do a follow up to this review. I am out!

Why did buy these? I guess I'll start with a bit of background information before I jump into the product itself. I'm an owner of the 600T from Corsair, a midtower computer case. It has its own front dust filter provided by Corsair in the front which is not that effective. It allows a lot of the finer dust through it and is not the best filter out there. In my experience, modding it with a stretched pantyhose to reduce the dust intake worked perfectly, as it stopped every bit of dust, but it wound up almost stopping all airflow inside the case, so I had to stick with the stock filters there. The 600T I own came with a meshed side panel alongside am acrylic one. The meshed side panel however, came with no filter on it and using a fan with it would make all my internals go grey in barely a few weeks at best. In India, LianLi sells 120mm fan filters, but they are not magnetic and required to be screwed into place. If you are like me, the task of unscrewing and rescrewing 4 fans; thats 16 screws, resulting in 32 total screws and unscrews seems like a daunting waste of time every week, so you will most likely stick with the glass panel. Even if you do go for the Lian Lis, they appear to be worse than the stock ones Corsair provides in terms of stopping dust! The only other place I felt we could mount fans would be on the top, the 2x 120mm fans slots. When I was ordering a few things from Amazon in Feb last year, I got myself 2x Silverstone Ultrafine Fan Filters for the slots there, but I was made aware with the little dust still coming in from the nooks and crannies of my case that these weren't enough to maintain positive airflow in the case, so I realized that I had to mount more fans, and the only spot that remained was on the side. Thats when I came across DEMCiflex, a dust filter company based in South Africa. They make standard filters as well as custom ones for specific cases. I placed an order for 1x Front Fan Filter 1x Side Fan Filter Below is my fist impressions of the product, as well as a little unboxing. I hope someone finds this useful. Ordering- Ordering from them was fairly straightforward. I went on their website, selected what I wanted to buy, and proceeded to checkout. I'll admit this that paying around 13$ for shipping was a bit expensive, but I did get a 10% off being a student . Do note that shipping a few things or the full package of filters from them will cost the same thing for shipping. I got the courier with a week of ordering [far lesser than the 3-4 weeks I was expecting it to arrive in]. It was packaged in bendproof packaging inside a brown envelope. It was really well packaged and it would positively survive shipping. Do note it did have to come all the way to India I tried my best to bend it but after applying what I'd call a reasonable amount of force, it did not flinch! This was really satisfactory. First Impressions- The filters are magnetic and are REALLY fine. The first thing I did was compare the mesh between it, the Corsair one and the Silverstone Ultrafine one. I'll admit this was one thing I was quite skeptical about when I was ordering them but they blew me away. This is the finest mesh I've seen! These are even more fine than the Silverstone mesh! I then proceeded to blow air through the filter with my hand on the other side and these things actually allow quite a bit of air through; I'd go so far as to say they allow the same amount of air as the not that restrictive restrictive Ultrafines too! I did notice though when mounting the front filter, that the inner width was only 12cm. Nevertheless, it worked flawlessly and I could feel air moving from the fan. A part of my side filter came demagnetized and when I contacted Demciflex about this, their awesome support dealt with it immediately by sending me a new one! Their customer support is amazing and this is something I do feel quite strongly about. Conclusion- For a first impressions though, I'll say this- I'm really impressed. These work out cheaper than the Silverstone Ultrafines if you are ordering a few of them and are finer than any solution I've tried while still allowing a good amount of airflow. One thing to note here is that the frame of the filters is not rigid. Whether you like it or not is personal preference, but I did not seem to like this one thing. When cleaning the bigger, side panel filter, a little rigidity would be nicer in my opinion when holding it for cleaning. That aside, they do what they are designed to do quite well! They stop a lot of dust and within a few days, they require a cleaning. The only disadvantage I see is that I was foolish enough to not order more of these. If you have a case and are on the lookout for a high quality and relatively cheap solution, I would suggest giving these guys a shot. They are certainly working for me quite well! I hope this helps anyone looking for dust filters or considering DEMCiflex!

Hey guys, I know that pressure optimized fans should be used with radiators: NF-F12, SP120 and so on. And airflow optimized fans for case ventilation... BUT - I have a thick foam fan filter in the front and top of my case (Arc Midi R2), so the question is: What kind of fans to choose. I want great airflow, but there is a lot of resistance in the filter; like a radiator. cheers,

I have 2 fans exhausting air out the top of my case (pulling air through a radiator below the fans). I currently have a dust filter on top of the fans. Should I remove it?
