Hello I've owned a few gaming PC's over the years, but my knowledge was weak and my only concern back then was graphic card, and SLI, didn't know more than that. Now I had the idea of creating a compact but very powerful PC in the Fractal Design Nano S, but then I learned that X99 won't fit, after that I learned that there was only the AsRock X99E-itx, but that would come with limitations I guess, and I won't find anyone in Dubai who does modding, or assembling. So I thought of the below configuration. // Budget: 5,000 to 6,000 USD // Aim: I do very heavy design work and equally game. I would like this PC to last 4-5 years from now. Cables? Thermal? I don't know what else I am supposed to say to the person building my PC - I contacted the following online / stores in Dubai and sent them the above list: www.computerpad.ae ( The sales executie replied by saying "it will be expensive and then stopped responding. ) www.gear-up.me ( Helpdesk replied with the list and prices of each item I required , but they don't assemble. ) www.inspiredubai.in ( Replied and gave alternatives for the items they don't have. They also DO assemble. ) www.DubaiGamers.net ( Replied with one total price, and changed 5-6 items in the quotation, And I think they do assemble. ) www.mmtech.ae ( One man company, reply was: "we do fully cooled water cooling systems, although we do do not sell components" ) I will visit the computer plaza to check all the components , or use www.inspiredubai.in if they figure out a way to get all components. Hi, I'm living in Dubai and freaking awesome things are happening here. When I visited the Dubai Mall last week there was a 50 meters wide big ass OLED screen just above the Aquarium. Freaking 1.7 Billion Pixels powered by 820 LG OLED screens. The company called Emaar Entertainment, the entertainment business of Emaar Properties, partnered LG on the record-breaking project. LG Electronics holds the Guinness Record for the Record-breaking OLED video wall at The Dubai Mall. Don't forget to feel the beauty of this video wall while you're visiting Dubai. Enjoy. So as of now, im living in Mexico, and AFAIK, there is no way to buy the new AW 13 around these lands. Fortunately I´ll be in Dubai for christmas and will try to buy it there. Is there any particular place anyone recommend to buy the AW 13? Side question: Im opting for an Alienware as im looking forward to heavy gaming, and the OLED screen with the possibility upgrading with an external card in the future seem quite fitting. Any other recommendation you guys can give?

Hi Guy's, So I'm looking at immigrating in the next 3-5 years, I've been doing a lot of research and planning some trips to various places including Vancouver. There may be an opportunity for me to work in Dubai in the next year or so, but I don't plan on being there for much longer than 2 years if I go. I've lived in the UK for 4 years and I'm not really interested in Europe. Out of all the places I've researched Vancouver just sticks out at me, I really like Singapore too which I have visited but Vancouver is perhaps a bit more Western compared to Singapore, despite it being very multicultural, but I really like Asian culture and Asian people in general I guess. I would like to hear from anyone who lives there or been there, good or bad. Yes - I know property is expensive there, 4th highest in the world actually.

So I'm going to Dubai in december (I live in Azerbaijan) and was planning to get myself a new PC. The star of the show being a 780, mainly because of the new price. The problem arises in that I don't know if the shops will have the new price or the old price, as they probably bought their stock before the price drop and wouldn't be too happy with lowering it. The big computer stores don't sell components and so I'd be going to one of the smaller pc shops, but they don't have/I can't find their websites to check the price... Anybody know if the price drop has hit Dubai or not because if it hasn't then I need to re-evaluate my options. Thanks
