This is a Driver Timeout Issue with the GPU a 7900 XTX. This has been 6 months straight now, my current set up; GPU 7900 XTX (XFX Merc) CPU 7900X RAM Trident Z5 Neo 64gb 6000Mhz CL30 (AMD EXPO) PSU A100G PCIE5 1000W MSI MOBO MSI X670e Carbon Wifi OS Windows 11Pro Attempted fixes in order (working alongside XFX and AMD for 6 months now) I've written out the majority, and counted this out how many times I've done; Windows 10 Install fresh computer 32 - 64 GB of RAM (DDR5) Turning off EXPO for RAM Turned it back on for RAM Windows 10 Reformat when issues first showed up in a game POST WINDOWS 11 Windows 11 Clean install new NVME Turning off EXPO for RAM Turned it back on for RAM Attempted to turn off super sampling etc. DDU, new drivers DDU, new drivers DDU, new drivers DDU, direct drivers DDU, new drivers, uninstall wallpaper engine DDU, new drivers, attempt to run games without LD Player running DDU, new drivers, 1 monitor only We have a community-based survey we were passing around on AMDs SubReddit and the FORMERLY support section of it. Recently after one of my threads was deleted within 5 minutes of being posted, they changed the policy that no support should be on the Reddit and directed us to the AMD forums. This is my post; https://community.amd.com/t5/drivers-software/7900-xtx-drivers-crash-multiple-games/m-p/599145/highlight/true#M173161 This is NOT fixable. It is completely random, you can't tell which game your GPU will not be able to run. Fresh windows install does nothing, and I have a 1000W PSU with the HPWR to 16 (8x8) splitting and a single dedicated 8x pin. It's not just me, there are people on the 7600X getting the same issues. And another amazing thing? Running in the Unreal Editor, it crashes on me. I am a game developer. A GAME DEVELOPER, going to move into unreal soon, leaving Unreal behind., Linus and the team recommending AMD despite the issue STILL hitting their cards is ridiculous. DO NOT PURCHASE AMD. They don't know how to fix this issue, I have been talking to them for 6 months straight now, and they have NO IDEA why this issue is happening... and it hits you at complete random. If you want a GPU that won't randomly crash on random games, then you need to be using either Nvidia or Intel. And I say this as someone who has used ATI and AMD GPUs for literally 26 years now. I hate this, I spent $1500 on this... the 4080 wasn't much more than this, and tbh I wish I just saved up for the 4090. I could have put it off a few months. But if this card worked across every game, application, etc it would be fine. It would be near perfect. But with the 4070 and 4080 out there, do you want to risk your game not working in this? You can clear windows 100 times. You can run DDU 1000 times. It will never solve this issue and the GPU will always break on some applications and programs. This is what you are risking with AMD right now.

ill cut to the chase suddenly wifi not connecting on my pc its only on my pc for some reason had pci driver issues, fixed them updated windows 11 all pending software updates checked out all reddit forums tried to update my mobo wifi drivers tried changing from 5ghz to 2.4 entering the right password ofc, either stuck on authenticating or connecting or just says cannot connect to this network only works when i use my mobile data as ethernet even mobile hotspot wont connect i have tried troubleshooting by doing "find and fix network issues", no good either when i go to settings>troubleshoot>other options>network and internet, it says the required app not installed on the device (i think its cuz i used a bloatware removing software? idk how to undo that, did it a long time ago and it doesnt say what app to install to run network troubleshooter) why all so suddenly mane edit: going into control panel>network and internet> Network connections>wifi>properties>configure>advanced under the advanced tab there is a property tab which says "802.11a/b/g/ wireless mode" highlighted blue (and many more below this) and to its right is the value select down menu with various options 1. 5GHz 802.11a (doesnt work) 2. 2.4GHz 802.11b (connects but is hella slow and not practical) 3. 2.3GHz 802.11g (works decent and is 1/4 of the speed i guess) 4. 2.4GHz 802.11g/b (same results as above) 5. Dual band 802.11 a/g (stuck on attempting to authenticate) 6. Dual band 802.11a/b/g (this was the default setting and doesnt work either) sorry i dont know much about wifi connectivity issues, i cant seem to make any sense out of this i feel like the only solution is reinstalling windows if its a driver issue? which i believe is not cuz i tried updating and rolling back wifi drivers in device manager and even swapping the selected drivers which were already on my system. any suggestions? wifi adapter: Intel(R) Wi-Fi 6E AX201 160MHz

Hello people, well i recently got a used gtx 760 from Ebay, it is the Gigabyte Windforce with Trio-Fans version. After i pluged it in for the first time it booted up and has shown the screen for 3 seconds and after that there was no signal. Later i managed to try the Heatgun method in order to see better result, and truly it is better now because i could boot up completly normal and everything working fine until i installed the driver and the screen went black and there was no signal. but could hear the operating still running because i was listening to music. another thing i noticed is that the system cannot be rebooted and the pieco peeps three times if i attempt to restart the system. But if i completely turn off my system and turn it on again, everything works fine until the driver installation issue. I also noticed a something like a jumper, which you can see in the pictures below, that is not looking correctly. Iam very thankfull to anyone that can help

So I have been trying to get an old Windows 98 PC up and running. Long story short, it turns out my Caesar III cd install replaces a Windows file oleaut32.dll which the NVIDIA graphics driver is looking for. So I need to somehow get the original oleaut32.dll file back or replace it again with one that won't cause issues with the NVIDIA graphics driver. forum post about this issue: https://www.techsupportforum.com/threads/found-fix-for-nvcpl-dll-error.34052/ potential oleaut32.dll file, but not sure if its safe or how to replace the file on my PC: https://www.dlldump.com/download-dll-files_new.php/dllfiles/O/OLEAUT32.DLL/5.1.2600.2180/download.html

Hello. Does anybody also have this problem with Gigabyte 2070 super Gaming OC 3x 8GB? On the nvidia 471.68 drivers (or other new drivers before that) it doesn't boost above 1605 MHz and refuses to apply OC (even when in fact I don't change the clocks just hit apply in afterburner or revert to defaults), then screen goes black and returns to normal again. I have found a driver that works and it's 466.11 but some drivers before that also have this problem, and that's the only relatively new stable driver that I have found. BTW, I have always cleaned with DDU before every driver reinstall so nothing is corrupted. Anyways here is a topic on nvidia forums adressing this exact issue and it's a year old: https://www.nvidia.com/en-us/geforce/forums/geforce-graphics-cards/5/385194/boost-clock-of-certain-rtx-2070-super-cards-will-b/?topicPage=6 (there is a temporary workaround listed there but it doesn't work)

So I picked up this cheap Tobii 4c eye tracker but I'm having issues getting it to work. The core package stalls at 83% when I install it on my streaming pc (Win10N) wether or not it's plugged in (tried both powered usb hub and directly into a usb3 connector). It's just detected as a webcam and refuses to update the drivers. Tobii ghost doesn't detect any trackers.

I've had this unknown device causing me problems ever since I put in a new motherboard last week. It will disconnect and reconnect when logging on from the lock screen and or when changing audio inputs as well. The main problem is that it won't let my PC sleep. My PC will go to sleep but will instantly turn back in due to a "device" being reconnected. Here are the properties of the Unknown Device:

Hello, i have problem with my old HP Notebook - 15-af109ax regarding to driver issue. The problem is when i update the driver to legacy adrenaline driver for amd r5 m330, it got this mouse lag problem every few second which is kinda annoying. But when ddu back and install the recommended gpu driver from hp website (which is the old catalyst driver thing, idk im not familiar with it) i got a problem where every startup theres always BSOD with "thread stuck in device driver" message. After that, it restart and runs fine. Now i tried to google around but theres no clear answer for it so my effort for this problem is : 1. Update BIOS to the very latest one from hp website, didnt work sadly. 2. While using the "catalyst" version i manage to avoid BSOD by disabling the driver display adapter from device manager which is kinda pointless because i cant change the brightness with driver disabled or even with no driver installed, the laptop stock brightness is too bright for me and it kinda hurt my eye. Now currently i ddu whole thing again and use the adrenaline version for a while until theres a clear fix. Is there any other fix for this issue ?

I have just built a new PC. The only part that was not brand new was my SSD I moved from an old system. I am getting a black screen when windows automatically finds the video drivers. I have used DDU, I have uninstalled the driver's from device manager. I have attempted to update through GeForce experience. I have reset windows and still having the same issue. There is connection to the video card as the screen is lit up it's just black. I am able to boot into safe mode and use as a basic display adaptor without issues with the video. It appears to only happen once windows finds the driver or if I install the driver. I placed the SSD in my old system and it loaded into it without issue. Currently I did a windows reset to see if that would fix the issue but once it went to do the install it's the same issue. Going to leave it for a while to make sure it goes through before powering off. System spec: I5-10400f 2x8gb ddr4 2666mhz Msi H510i pro wifi motherboard Gtx 1660 ti Samsung Evo 850 500gb

I recently upgraded my CPU (alongside the motherboard and PSU). I also have 2 monitors. One of them is connected to the GPU, the other one to the motherboard as it has a different (lower) resolution and refresh rate than my main display. Currently have a i9-9900k and an Asus ROG Strix z790-A Motherboard Ever since the upgrade, whenever I turn on my PC, BOTH monitors initially show the bootup logo then only the monitor connected to the motherboard continues the boot sequence. with my old motherboard, this wasn't the case. not sure if this is an issue or not. All drivers including the bios are installed and updated. It has now recently started detecting a 3rd monitor out of know where with the name of "Generic Monitor PnP Driver" or something along those lines. I don't have a third monitor... it goes away after a restart but so far it has kept coming back eventually. To make matters worse, my monitor connected to the motherboard, now has started showing artifacts and green/purple flickering. Once again it fixed its self after the restart but... idk what is causing it. Lastly, in device manager, "Other devices" have a orange triangle next to them and idk how to fix them. No OC on CPU or GPU. No fancy bios settings like raid. only XMP is enabled and I am using my old ram. everything else is stock. I will update the post if/when the third monitor comes back with a couple of screenshots of it's details in device manager.

First, some context. I'm running Linux Mint 20 and Windows 10 on separate SSDs (1TB & 500gb respectively) on my ASUS TUF A15, which has Ryzen 7 4800H with Radeon graphics and an RTX 3050 Laptop. The previous night, I switched to power-saving mode (Radeon GPU) as I was writing a document without a charger. When I finished, I switched it back to performance mode (Nvidia GPU), but instead of logging out and back in as it instructed, I opted to shut down the system instead thinking it would switch to Nvidia GPU next time I logged on, but it never got past the loading screen. It went through the usual bootup sequence after selecting Mint in Grub. Some terminal text that appears every time I boot up, then the Mint loading logo appears, the brightness adjusts, then a text cursor appears at the top left for a few seconds, and then nothing. Everything up until the very last one (black screen) is normal and happens every time I boot MInt. I'm not yet 100% sure if this is the cause of the issue but I can't think of anything else as everything I did that day were nothing out of the ordinary. I didn't update any drivers either. Here's what I tried so far: Normal power off. (Pressed power button) Forced power off. (Held power button for 5 seconds) CMOS cleanup thing? (Held power button for 60 seconds, then it rebooted a few times before starting normally.) Started Mint with "nvidia.modeset=0 radeon.modeset=0" Tried "sudo rmmod nvidia" in recovery mode but it says modeset_nvidia and something else was using it, even if I used "nvidia.modeset=0" in recovery mode as well. Drink water Unplug all IO devices, including the charging brick. If at all possible, I don't want to reinstall Mint right now because I have some 100-300Gb of files I do not have backups of. I can move the most important ones to WIndows using DiskInternals Linux Reader but I don't have enough storage to move the big files anywhere else. Any help would be greatly appreciated.

Hi I recently opened up my 3yr old laptop to replace the thermal paste with Arctic MX4 due to overheating and thermal throttling issues (~97deg C) and it worked like a charm, lowered the temps from 97degC to 73degC (Max) For a couple of days, everything was fine and suddenly my USB port started having some power surge issue on the left side which has a USB 3.0 and an SD card reader which is attached to the MB via a ribbon connector, I checked online and it was temporarily fixed. Then out of the blue, while I was playing Over Watch game yesterday, the laptop built-in screen and keyboard back-light stopped working. I was using 2 displays setup (Secondary 720p Monitor via an HDMI to VGA adapter) and the whole in-built display got shifted to the secondary monitor. I was startled by the effect and stopped the game immediately. I rebooted and the laptop built-in screen shows the dell logo (keyboard back-light doesn't work at all) and when the windows 10 boot up the screen is not working at all. But the display is being projected on to my secondary monitor. As soon as I uninstall Intel HD 630 graphics and reboot, display works fine. I am just worried if I just leave this it might result in a bigger issue causing some kind of tragic explosion or something. I do a lot of research work (Ton of numerical simulations; CAD Designing and Gaming) and the data is precious for me. I tried hardware diagnostics, display tests and a whole lot of troubleshooting. Laptop built-in screen is fine, passed all the hardware tests and the built-in color tests. I rechecked all the cables, everything is good. CPU/ GPU performance is better than ever. Updated all the drivers/ BIOS/ chip-set/ Serial I/O My laptop is out of warranty for 2 years and I have no idea what to do. I checked everything. Laptop built-in screen is not even showing up in the settings>display tab. Only the secondary monitor is showing up as Nvidia is used for the external monitor. GPU is fine. I can still game on it. But the laptop screen is not working. It's hard for me to carry it somewhere to work and can't work on it. Please help, right now not even stores are open and I have some important work to do regarding my master's degree admits and certifications. I really appreciate any help TLDR: Laptop in-built screen and keyboard back-light not working as I install Intel HD630 graphics drivers after re-pasting the thermal compound on to CPU and GPU on my Inspiron 7567 laptop (3yrs old). No Hardware problem as per diagnostics and troubleshooting. P.S: 1. I can use the laptop with Microsoft Adaptive drivers but I am just anxious if it leads to any bigger problem. 2. Is there any possibility that I might had put little too much thermal paste making it spread out of the die a little bit. I did spread it with a tissue to make sure I didn't put too much and took out all the extra on the edges. Just wondering if I have to reopen the MB and take out some of the thermal compound. 3. I did a clean OS re-installation it didn't help. The problem still persists

I just put together a new build and used my old SSD but with new mobo/cpu. I was going to format the SSD and perform a fresh install of windows 10 to avoid driver incompatibility & the like. however, whenever I get past the windows setup screen where you choose your location and language & install now page I get the following message: "A media driver your computer needs is missing. This could be a dvd, usb, or Hard Disk driver. If you have a cd, dvd, or usb flash drive with the driver on it, please insert it now. Note: If the installation media for windows is in the dvd drive or on a usb drive, you can safely remove it for this step."what do I do here? Also, I'm using windows media creation toolkit on a usb.

Hello everyone, I just joined and this is my first post. I am a computer technician but this problem is bugging me and I can't find a fix. A customer brought in their computer saying he was playing video games and at some point the computer crashed and the screen went black. I did some tests and the issue seems to be the GPU driver. The GPU is a Gigabyte GV-R787OC-2GD. and I tried every method to uninstall the driver and reinstall it but nothing works. His motherboard developped another issue, when I was in safe mode I tried plugging in an external hard drive in one of the usb ports but the whole computer froze and no more power to the keyboard or mouse, no lights nothing. so I took his gpu out of the system and put it in a test bench with a different hard drive in Windows 10 and the computer booted up normally and before installing the driver I remotely connected to the computer using fixme.it and now the screen on the test bench went black while installing he driver but on my work pc I have a video feed of the screen but the computer seems to have stop responding. It has been like this in the screenshot for the past 25 minutes or so and even ctrl alt delete doesn't do anything. Also on the Gigabyte website there are no drivers for Windows 10 for this GPU. I need help. Thanks in advance. Link to the drivers page : https://www.gigabyte.com/Graphics-Card/GV-R787OC-2GD#support-dl

Two days ago, I installed the build with no issue. And for some reason, yesterday, the driver failed to load! And today, it broke completely! In a previous build, the same thing happened and was fixed with a driver update. Now, reinstalling the driver (since it's the latest one) just won't plain work anymore. Now I'm currently stuck at 1024x768 resolution with no option to enable Night Mode nor enter sleep mode (this I know why). Please help. I am using a Zotac GT 730 2GB GDDR5. Also, my last working overclock was +250 MHz on core, but since the driver is busted I can't change it.

Hello Everybody, I am new to this community. I have recently upgraded my system to Ryzen 5, here is my new rig,Asus Strix B350F latest bios Version 0805 AGESA 1.0.0.6aRyzen 5 1600XG.Skill FlareX 2x8GB F4-3200C14D- 16GFXAsus Strix GTX970Seasonic X-850 PSUWindows Version: 1607 (OS Build 14393, 1480)After Windows Installation: My problem is when I am running my PC just fine suddenly display turns of with or without vga error diagnosis led on mobo. Then nothing, it is not restarting on its own. Sometimes pressing power button also not force shutdown the pc. I need to turn it off by wall power switch and after only a complete power off it can be booted again. Now again no problem but sometimes I have received a bios message for setup it again. Switched GPU in a different PCIe lane again same problem after sometime. If I reset my OC profile to default it does not holds good. However I have tried full power off- reset bios- install gpu in 2nd lane then on and test = OK working. Again OCd CPU and after some time during stress test again screen goes blank and nothing can be done. There is something wrong in windows event viewer, in every core (all 12 logical cores) I have received a Error massage in Windows log>System: 1. Hello everyone! My PC Build: CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 (With the stock cooler) GPU: PowerColor Radeon™ RX 5700 XT 8GB GDDR6 (The one with the blower style Cooling) MOBO: ASUS PRIME X470-PRO (With 5406 BIOS Vers.) RAM: Corsair VENGEANCE (RGB) PRO - 16GB - 3200Mhz PSU: Corsair CX650M DISKs: 1x SSD INTEL for OS (No NVMe, but SATA) & 1x WD Blue 1TB Im new here, not good in english but I need your help! Everything is new! I bought the parts and assebled it about 1-2 weeks ago. I did a clean install of the OS and install all the Drivers needed (AMD Chipset, Graphics Card Radeon Software latest Vesion 20.2.2 etc). So then I tried to play a random game "Assasins Creed-Black Flag" (Random Choise the first time). I played for 15 minites and then suddenly my PC freezed(about 1 sec freeze) and restarted immediately. I tried other games (EVE, BlackOps) and same thing happened. Some of them the restart was very fast without a freeze. Also first time had XMP Profile - OFF. Then I enabled it and there was no difference. So I started searching the web. I saw that many people had problems with new AMD graphics cards Drivers and they suggested to try the DDU and clean install again of the drivers. I used the DDU for about 4-5 times and after each one I opened the games and got a restart again. Then I did RAM MemoryCheck with some softwares like MemTest64. Run it all night and got no Errors. Downloaded OCCT to see Temps and when I benchmark it everything seems prety normal. (I can try again and post here Screenshots if that helps) Some say is the PSU. I didnt try to RMA it because i just bought it but I can do that easily. I beieve is the Radeon Drivers. Maybe it could be an harware incompatibility or RAM wrong timing or maybe just bad temps. But hardware issue? everything is new ? Also I have to mention that I got a crash while I was browsing ONLY 1 TIME. never happened again since i disabled harware accelerator at my browser and malwarbytes.

Hi so I have a relatively low spec PC (Xeon E5 2470 8-core, 32GB DDR3, Kllisre LGA 1356 m.2 MoBo, 2TB HDD, 128GB NVME SSD, Super Flower Leadex III etc..) and I have a PowerColor Red Dragon RX 580 8GB, which I picked up on eBay a while ago for about $90, a steal a few months ago. It was the last component of the PC and I decided on it over the GTX 1060 6GB, as it's probably a slightly better card nowadays, what with the better AMD drivers. Which brings me on to the issue. When I first got the card, it took me an age with starting the driver install then it stopping for an unknown reason, then I'd have to DDU and try again, until finally, after in excess of 10 times, the driver installation tool prompted a restart of the PC, which I did, and the drivers installed. The card then scaled properly to the monitor and began to output in HD 1080p, or at least I thought, but in GTA and other games it can only display 1024x768 at 75 Hz (though I haven't lowered the refresh rate to see if that would make an increase to the potential resolution, and my monitor is the Acer VG-240Y W/ FreeSync), another problem seemingly lying with the card, with the CPU easily able to output even 1440p in GTA at playable frame rates in medium/high, whilst I was getting only 60ish in the in game benchmark with everything incl. AA maxed in 1024x768 (The only synthetic benchmark I've tried). This really strange behaviour is something I've never seen before (Bad resolution, terrible driver experience on CD and online (though that may be fixable if booted in safe mode??) Poor performance in games (I'm pretty sure atleast) and just generally stifled performance.) I'm sumising that perhaps this is due to a weak PCI-e x16 connection on the board, though in a YouTube video I found that this board goes well with an RX 570 8GB, essentially the same card. This time round, however, I can't install the most recent drivers even after a DDU, and, also, side note windows 10 doesn't even automatically install drivers of any sort, which I found strange. So that brings me to my findings; 1, I have read bad things about checking the AMD user experience feedback (or whatever) box, so maybe uncheck it next time round? 2, I have also thought about installing them in safe mode/ off a disk with Wi-Fi turned off (as I did it just with Wi-Fi off last time, from the driver disk, with no safe mode activated) or 3, maybe it could be the PCI-e slot on the motherboard badly soldered or whatever, I could test it in a different MoBo as I do have more lying around the house, which could be the poor connection? The thing that bugs me about all this and what makes 3 the most likely is the fact that the resolution is poor and the drivers won't install, 2 separate issues it seems. Sorry for such a long post, but I can try all of the things in paragraph 3 and anything else anyone may suggest, and if there's any more info required I'll try to provide it. Thanks

My computer has been experiencing some screen blacking out , consistent lag in nearly every game and bad performance overall. A couple of months ago I could play the exact same games with 50% better performance. I noticed my GPU/CPU/RAM and everything aren't running at full utilization - rather a game like League will get 55FPS at 40% GPU/cpu utilization. I also started using a new g502 gaming mouse which I feel like i'm lagging more since that, but i'm not sure. Anyone heard of new periphreals causing lag? GPU drivers are up to date. The only thing I can think of is faulty driver system, a bad virus that malwarebytes can't find, or a failing component somewhere, OS problem. The PSU (550W)is around 5 years old, but I don't have any way to see stats on it UserBenchmarks: Game 79%, Desk 67%, Work 43% Model Bench CPU Intel Core i5-6600K 72.3% GPU Nvidia GTX 1070 86% SSD SanDisk Ultra II 480GB 56.9% HDD Seagate Desktop SSHD 1TB 92.3% RAM G.SKILL F4 DDR4 3000 C15 2x8GB 89.6% MBD Gigabyte Z170X-GAMING 3 Performing way below expectations (15th percentile) Performing way below expectations (7th percentile) Performing way below expectations (3rd percentile)

I thought this might help someone hence sharing it. After upgrading to the latest Adrenaline drivers for my old RX470, my random occasional frame drop followed by imminent crash issue seems to have gone away.. however.. my card was suspiciously quiet and I occasionally seem to have developed a strange irregular stutter, most noticeable when watching YouTube vids. Investigation found my GPU was idling at 65C under no load, on the desktop.. seemed odd. When poking around in the settings I found the fan ramp up only went to 50%, not great since noise is better than burnt out silicone. I started increasing the idle speed to get a gague on noise, this system is old and the case fans aren't quiet, so it makes sense to match lowest GPU fan speed with 'inaudible over case fan noise'. This turned out to be about 50%, or about 1250rpm. Now I've heard these things make a lot of noise with old drivers so I thought this seemed odd, so I cranked the idle speed up to 100% for a moment just to see how noisy they were, and they hit over 10,000 rpm! Now, clearly 50% of 10k is not 1250. I adjusted the fan speed profile so it ramps up to 100% at the top of the graph (85C) and my system is now much happier, and at the moment at least no longer stuttering. My biggest concern here is that upgrading your driver's to the latest Adrenaline drivers, certainly in some poorly flowed cases, will cook your GPU! Unless of course I'm the only one seeing this.. I didn't want to chance restoring to default and running a game, I'd rather not think about how hot it got.. I've been waiting for the latest GPU's to drop before I build a new system (I think my old X58 has earned its retirement), and reading through comments from 5000 series card owners, no question I'm buying NVidea, I don't even care what AMD have to offer. System spec is: Asus P6TSE with latest bios Xeon X5677 running stock clock Sapphire RX470 18GB DDR3 1666 650W PSU (I forget what it was bit it's not a cheapo garbage PSU, learned that lesson the hard way) I can't believe how long this old system has held up, it was initially built in 2010 with an XFX 4890, i7-920 and 3Gig RAM. I never overclocked it, but always intended to... Just never really needed to.

I tried the true and tested method of getting this work by updating the driver in device manager and selecting the driver baked into windows 10, doesn't work. Shows up as unknown device and verified that this the recevier by disconnecting and reconnecting it physically.

Phone connected to PC with USB keeps disconnecting. The problem occurred around the time after I installed Ryzen Master software, as it worked before I installed Ryzen Master. I tried uninstalling and updating the "USB Root" and "USB Controllers" but no luck there. Tried with two different phones, Galaxy s7 and Galaxy s10, worked just fine. Physical USB port seems to be fine as my 16gb toshiba stick works. Phone also keeps prompting to "allow storage access."
