Just installed a 3080 FE on my Asus Maximus ROG Formula VIII and I am receiving a DRAM issue (code 53 and dram light is on.) I replaced a custom look 1070 FTW which worked flawless, but was able to get my hand on a FE. I can boot into win 10 with no GPU and pervious GPU worked the morning before install . I flashed the BIOs to newest update, and have a flesh OS in stall with no files on the Only drive. I reseated all the ram and removed and reinstalled the same Cmos battery. Only thing I can think of is possible bad cable from PSU or dead GPU? 6700k custom water loop 32gb 1000w EVGA PSU 256 m.2 Samsung gen 3

I recently RMA my motherboard because of an issue I was having (it was a gigabyte aurous x570 elite) I got a new motherboard (gigabyte aurous b550 pro) and with this motherboard came its own problem. I plugged everything in and everything turns on, AIO, fans, etc. except the troubleshooting leds on my motherboard indicated that my DRAM memory was not working, with this problem I get no display to my monitors. I have tried: 1 stick of ram in every dimm slot two sticks of ram in every other dimm slot I have even tried four ram sticks at once nothing is working, please any help would be appreciated and thank you in advance, my computer has not worked since christmas following a snowball of problems specs: 2080ti founders edition gigabyte b550 pro MOBO 16gb (2x 8gb) ddr4 ram Ryzen 7 2700x GIGABYTE p850gm power supply (850W 80+ gold) cpu is cooled By duel fan corsair AIO 6 fans including the 2 cpu cooler fan 2 monitors, one is DVI, the other is HDMI (no response from both)

Hi there ! I just built a new pc, mostly with new parts, but some re-used from an old system (GPU and RAM). Here are the specs at the time of posting: OS: Windows 11 Home 64bit Motherboard: ROG STRIX Z690-A GAMING WIFI D4 DDR4 compatible, latest BIOS version 2103 CPU: Intel Core i7-13700K RAM: Corsair Vengeance RGB Pro 64 Go (4 x 16 Go) DDR4 3200 (PC4-25600) C16 GPU: GIGABYTE GeForce GTX 1660 Ti Mini ITX OC 6G 192-bit GDDR6 PSU: Corsair HX Series, HX1000 Storage: Samsung 980 PRO SSD 1 To - M.2 NVME (in the M.2 slot closest to CPU) When I first built it I had some issues posting, the motherboard debug light for DRAM was a solid orange when trying to boot. After looking around a bit I found that someone fixed it by flashing the latest version of the BIOS before booting (13700k may not be compatible out of the box and causing the issues). This worked, I managed to get in the BIOS, boot and install Windows. Since then, every time I turn off my computer (restart or shut down), the computer refuses to post, with that same DRAM orange light coming back. By repeating the previous troubleshooting step (BIOS flash), I can post, but that means spending 5-10 minutes on a boot every time and losing all BIOS settings. I have tried all of the troubleshooting steps I could think of: Updating Drivers Re-seat CPU and GPU Un-plugged and re-plugged all power connectors Use 1, 2 or 4 sticks of RAM Clearing CMOS Playing around in the BIOS, enabling or disabling multiple options XMP, ASUS Multicore enhancement, Secure boot, default settings, etc... The last time I went through that process and got into Windows, before shutting down I updated Windows and since then I cannot post no matter what I try. Display and USB devices are not detected either (keyboard doesn't light up). Any ideas ? Thank you !

So I turned on my PC and it booted all fine into the windows lock screen. Then when I pressed my space bar to prompt it to show the password entry area nothing happend. I pressed it again and then my PC just shut down like I had held down the power button. Now when I press the power button and turn it on my fans turn on and are on low speed, my rgb turns on on my ram, gpu, cpu cooler and case and the DRAM_LED is a solid red. I have tried shuting off the power supply and leaving it for 30 mins and trying again. I booted with one stick of ram in and tryed it with 2 sticks of some other ram I had but nothing has worked. Ive also tried every display output on my gpu and mobo with differnt screens. I need this pc for most of my school work and really dont want it to be a case of it dying. My Specs Are: CPU - i7 6700kMOBO - Asus b150 pro gaming auraGPU - GTX 1080 oc Asus strixRam - 2x8gb sticks of 3200mhz Gskill trident z RGBPSU - EVGA 80+ gold 850w modular power supply Storage - m.2 SSD screwed onto Motherboard 2tb seagate mechanical Hard drive

Hello This is going to be a super long post so please bear with me. Recently I upgraded from a Ryzen 5 1600 to a Ryzen 5 3600 as my motherboard was the MSI B450 gaming plus, I upgraded the bios before swapping out the 1600 for the 3600. On first try the system refused to boot in dual channel so I tried single channel with only one stick of ram and it posted, the moment I got into the windows OS with single channel memory my pc shut off power completely. I tried to boot again and crashed exactly at the windows sign in screen again. Thus thinking it to be a cpu problem I decided to swap back my 1600 just to make sure. Strangely enough PC refused to boot this time with the CPU ez debug led solid red. Swapping back to the 3600 now the system refused to boot even in single channel with the motherboard lighting the ez debug DRAM led solid red. From then on whatever I've tried the system keeps giving me the DRAM led and refuses to post. Can't even get into the bios. Things that I've tried : 1. Tried each stick in each DIMM slot, also tried various combinations but system refuses to boot with dram led on 2. Clearing CMOS through the battery removal process and the jumper process 3. Updating bios again through the msi bios flashback method 4. Tried both the RAMs on a seperate (INTEL) system and they worked normally 5. Changed my motherboard for the MSI B450 gaming pro carbon max wifi (which comes with ryzen 3rd gen ready out of the box) 6. Breadboarding the whole system to eliminate any shorts being caused in the case 7. Tried using an AIO and the ryzen stock cooler on the 3600 8. Disconnected all extra peripherals and tried to boot with just the CPU and GPU. Nothing worked and everytime the system lit up the DRAM led solid red and did not post. Could not get into the bios I haven't yet tried a different PSU or haven't tried to RMA my 3600 yet. Is it my PSU or is the CPU to blame? So I'd be super super glad if someone here could help me with this problem which has been driving me crazy. HI guys, I have recently purchased Gigabyte's GA-AB350 gaming 3 motherboard. After the PC is built and when i have turned on the PC, All the cabinet fans along the CPU fan everything works fine. But theirs on output form the motherboard to the monitor. and on the right corner to the motherboard theirs RED LED of the DRAM which blinks. so i don't understand whats with the ram. The Ram Stick I'm using is G.Skills - Ripjaws V - 8GB 2400MHZ (Single channel). 1. In the quality vendors list under 2400MHZ it only has these Modules F4-2400C15Q-32GRR, F4-2400C15Q2-64GRK, F4-2400C17S-8GDB. ( But the module number on my ram stick says F4-240017s-8GVR) 2. Does this mean if the module number isn't in the QVL it wouldn't support.? Can somebody help. Thank you. VID_20180406_171659645.mp4
