Hello! I recently just bought a new computer and I was looking to get some additional storage. I'm left with two options that have a similar price. My current PC Specs are as follows: Ryzen 7 3700X Asrock X570-A Pro 16GB DDR4 2933 Mhz RTX 2080 Super 750W 80+ Gold PSU Current Storage 1: 500GB Phison M.2 NVME SSD I'm currently leaning towards two options: 1. 1TB Samsung QVO SSD 2. 4TB HGST 7200 RPM Hard drive. What I plan to do with said storage: 1. Steam Library (Any game that doesn't really need fast load times) 2. Media Storage from time to time At this time I can only choose one, but I do plan to buy the other down the line. Which should I prioritize for now? Any help/insight will be appreciated!

im looking the best android os to load on a AMD 3350U laptop or mini pc vi a usb drive iv tried android x86 , pure os an bliss on my acer aspire 3350u to no success either the gear wasn't compatible or the versions of the os's weren't the right ones. the reason i need to make this work is ever since i moved to pop os linux ther a host of apps that i was using on windows some utility's an editing app that aren't available on linux but are on android but a tablet doesn't have the horse-power i need but a good budget laptop or mini pc would iv tried my acer 3350u laptop but none worked right , ie between being glitchy an not completing the install an or the WiFi an Ethernet not working or even being sensed. all the os's i listed i tried the latest versions so maybe its my current hardware so besides my laptop are ther any AMD mini pc's under 400$ or 500$ via amazons fixed 5 monthly payment option that anyone knows or can confirm that do work with any Android os (preferable pure os) i dont mind it built - in WiFi dosnt or wont work as long as the Ethernet will work as i only use Ethernet for all my current gear ( 2 desktop pc's , 2 laptops , nas , an NVIDIA Shield ) WiFi is for my phones an tablets. these are some of my current picks let me know if any of these will do or suggest others ______________________________________________________________________________ AMD Ryzen 5 3550H Mini Computer DDR4 16 GB https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09R22DCTJ/?coliid=I2LA5H8PJA1MW&colid=QJS6WLUQUF23&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1 _______________ KAMRUI AMD Mini PC, Windows 11 Pro 8GB DDR4 256GB M.2 2280 SSD Micro Desktop Computers, Radeon Vega 3 https://www.amazon.com/KAMRUI-Windows-Computers-Computer-Graphics/dp/B09QBZ3KFK/ref=sr_1_4?crid=2SCKL3M8ZV5BU&keywords=KAMRUI%2BMini%2BPC&qid=1651041508&refinements=p_85%3A2470955011%2Cp_36%3A-40000%2Cp_72%3A1248879011&rnid=1248877011&rps=1&s=electronics&sprefix=kamrui%2Bmini%2Bpc%2Celectronics%2C106&sr=1-4&th=1 _________________ Beelink SER3 Versatile Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, AMD Ryzen 3 3200U https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09Q2Z8CZT/?coliid=I1F4NHUVSDR87L&colid=29U15X3U1PKOJ&psc=1&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it _______________________ KAMRUI Mini PC,AMD Ryzen 5 3500U Windows 11 Pro Small Desktop Computers, 16GB DDR4 https://www.amazon.com/KAMRUI-Windows-Computers-Desktops-Computer/dp/B09V7QJX2H?ref_=ast_sto_dp&th=1 __________________________ Beelink SER3 Versatile Mini PC Windows 11 Pro, AMD Ryzen 7 3750H(up to 4GHz) 4C/8T, Dual Channel RAM https://www.amazon.com/dp/B09JFGKNG9/?coliid=I2CNMUFBPYG4T4&colid=29U15X3U1PKOJ&ref_=lv_ov_lig_dp_it&th=1

So this is the build I'm planning on doing. The cooler is just a place holder. https://pcpartpicker.com/list/qW9qgL But i want to add a water cooler on it. The diypc site says it supports 240 and a 280 mm water cooling. But, I cant add it on the site because the site says it doesn't support a water cooler. Im thinking on getting a corsair hydo 560 or a 580i v2. Will those water coolers work on it?

ITEM : DIYPC IllusionI-BL Black Dual USB3.0 Steel VIDEO REVIEW TO SEE THE CASE WRITTEN REVIEW Hey ! This is my first review on the forum ! Lets start at the beginning. the first thing you notice on this case once its built is the jedi like blue light coming from the front grill behind the front tempered glass panel. God it looks good ( although it depends on your personal taste). Both tempered glass windows are held by 4 thumb / philips screws which look good but the rubber mounting points seem a little flimsy. the glass is see-through all the way which unfortunately reveals the old side panel mounting areas which show through it but honestly it doesn't look as bad as you think IRL but beware, this thing is a finger grease magnet. The back panel is a regular old steel sheet which is held by two thumbscrews which I already lost. you get two colour options one red and one blue but the red might be a little more expensive depending on where you shop because.. well reasons I guess. The design looks surprisingly good for a case at this price( 60 USD ) and i’ll come back to why I chose it compared to the popular brand variants. it has a nice PSU shroud that covers the entire basement where the power supply , the drives and your rats nest of cable will live forever.. accumulating that dust waiting for a HDD replacement that never comes or a GPU upgrade that would trigger a quick realization that the cable management was horribly done and… ok im getting out of hand lets get back to the review. on the storage front, it supports 2x 3.5 inch drives and one SSD on the back of the motherboard or 3 SSD’s depending on what floats your boat and one thing to note about the power supply is that you should connect any modular cable before you insert it to avoid clearance issues with the drive caddies. you get 7 PCI slots but keep in mind that only the first one is reusable whereas the 6 others are disposable. once you pull them out , you cant put them back in… kinda like baby teeth. except in that case ( literally ) they dont grow back. The IO is super basic , you get 2 USB 3.0 at the top , beware of the pictures because there are 2 very deceptive USB looking holes that do nothing and a weird HD audio sticker. in terms of future dust collectors you get a magnetic one at the top , a removable but flimsy one at the bottom and none on the front panel although the airflow is so restrained it might act as one. you get support for up to 6 120 mm fans 2 at the top , one in the back and 3 at the front but keep in mind that none of those are rail mounts which means you will be nudging your screws trying to find the holes if you are using an AIO. I would recommend using an air cooler. speaking of AIO’s only the front will allow clearance for it and you have to be pretty forceful to install a 240 in the top slot since some cables dont want you and your system to be cool… i mean they’re in the way so you have to shove them up. you have some cutouts on the bottom and on the right side of the motherboard but * trigger alert * no rubber grommets although honestly it looks good since the glass is tinted. does it compare with the p400 TG and the s340 Elite , not in usability and ease of build but it looks pretty damn good and different. I mean you get 2 tempered glass panels instead of one , and its a different design than those cases that have been there for a while. it isn't the best case to build in though , cable routing can be awkward at times and the mounting for the tempered glass is very flimsy .. but again … tempered glass. Now the reason im reviewing this case is because its only 60$ AND YOU GET ALL THAT GLASS. Im excited about this because I've been dealing with cheap plastic windows for a while and they scratch so easily , with this you can remove the plastic right away and if theres prints on it , you just wipe it with a microfibre cloth and you dont have to worry about a tiny piece of something stuck on the cloth ruining your side panel window ! unless you own micro diamond cloths. Let me know what you think , this is my second review in a while and I want to make plenty of others , if you have any questions , feel free to answer in this post down below I will be on it ASAP.

http://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353113&ignorebbr=1 just ordered for my gf build. having buyers remorse, a bit difficult to find a white case that looks visually appealing that still has a 5.25 slot for a bluray drive.

PC Part Picker List Here I watched multiple videos for different parts of the build process, including LTT’s “No Dollar Wasted PC Build Guide” and Bitwit’s “How to Build a PC! Step-by-step”(more helpful and more in-depth, sorry LTT). Some of the mundane steps were the more difficult and confusing, funnily enough. Like finding the case bag with my screws and everything, because the case manufacturer hides it in the hard drive tray, and screwing in an additional case fan with all of the parts in and trying to hold it up while screwing it in. Some precise parts were also tedious, like figuring out which way to align the front panel connectors and other small tasks like that. This cheap(ish) case actually had pretty good cable management, with holes throughout the inside to route cables through, and that didn’t take long. Looking back, this was any easy(ish) first build, and it turned out well. Nothing super complicated like custom water cooling for my first time, although I’ll look into this in the future. As of yet, I have not been able to successfully overclock it, except for applying XMP for my RAM (my GPU is factory OC’ed). When I tried overclocking my CPU, using Ryzen Master and/or the BIOS, I kept getting blue screens until I reverted all the settings :(. Overall it is definitely fast enough though, and I get around 120-144 FPS depending on the game (COD MW, Overwatch, R6, etc), which is good because my monitor is 144hz. I would definitely say this was an expensive, but worth it first build. I forgot to add that I made sure to have enough RGB, and will add more when I do custom watercooling. I’d estimate that the RGB adds at least 15fps, maybe more . FullSizeRender.mov

Im currently building my pc... sorta, and i need some help. I currently am using a HP Pro Desktop with a core i5-2300 and a 265watt psu on windows 10 pro, I bought a PNY GTX 1050 2gb thinking i could slap it in the pc and it would work just fine, but it didnt. the prebuilt that i have has a coupertino 2 motherboard witch apparently doesnt support gpus.so when the gpu is in and i boot it up it gets stuck on the HP boot screen. So im planning on buying a case a motherboard and a new more powerful psu. but i dont know what kind of motherboard to buy for the cpu (core i5-2300) Its a lga 1155 but i dont know where to find a decent one for a cheap price that will be compatible and that supports gpus... https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353127 Considering the switch to this DIYPC case. I'll keep shopping around but I was wondering how people felt about DIYPC generally speaking.

Need a decent case for my new build. I have a few in mind and some questions. Feel free to recommend any case as that would help very much.Price range - 50-90 USD. The case should have at least 3 HDD housing support (I have 3 HDDs lying around). That's not a must but I'd love to run with all 3 HDDs rather than just 2. 1. Phanteks Eclipse P400S. Newegg Link - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811854053 2. DIYPC Vanguard. Newegg Link - https://www.newegg.com/Product/Product.aspx?Item=N82E16811353125 Anyone owns a DIYPC Vanguard? Or, has any idea about the build quality. Reviews are pretty decent. It's just that I've never heard of this company before. Are they good? Any comment would help. Please help. Thank you.

Starting my first ever PC build, and the case I ended up choosing was DIYPC's DIY-F2-W. One of the things I noticed right out of the box was that there are slots for a SD / Micro-SD card (for those have a DIY-F2 case, it should be underneath the DIYPC logo on the top, regardless of the case color), but there isn't actually an internal card reader to go with these slots. I did some digging, and found that the DIY-F2 series of cases doesn't include a reader from the factory, and that it has to be bought separately. I have no issue with this; the issue I do have, however, is finding a compatible SD/MMC/TF card reader. I've tried emailing DIYPC about the matter, but I haven't received anything back from them, and I haven't been able to find anything about it (the only results i'm getting are for external USB card readers). If anyone knows of a compatible SD/MMC/TF card reader, please let me know!

I'm going to build my first pc. I want it to be good quality, not super high end, but not budget. I'm getting a job this summer. I'm going to be using this for basic 1080p gaming on high settings with current games, recording, editing and rendering videos. (and possibly livestreaming in the future) I was doing a skylake build but people said it wasnt the best for rendering and it wasnt good with windows 7. I'll go ahead and put the parts list. I tweaked my list and here is the fully revised one. Maybe in the future ill get a 970 or a 980 but im not doing 4k or VR so ill be fine. Is this setup practical? Am i forgetting anything? Any suggestions on how i can improve this list for what i intend to use it for. Thanks!

This is my unboxing of an mitx case, the HTPC Cube from DIYPC. A friend and I were looking for a small case to build out 'Lan PCs' based on the Intel G3258 and he stumbled on this mitx full aluminum case for $35. It look nice, built quality is not horrible but is not the best either BUT it looks nice. He made his build on it and I... 'Totally luved et'... Anyways, here it is... https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=PA_SZMdXPlc This is my first unboxing video and I am going to follow it up with a build and review video(s). Thanks for checking it out, I have other videos of gameplay of WoW, LoL and H1Z1 (NSFW'ish) if any would like to check them out.

So as with a lot of cases these days mine lacks any possible way to put a CD-Drive into it, I'm looking to have some way to set up having a CD Drive, and then I'd also like to somehow incorporate a 3.5in and 5.25in floppy drive, could I like 3D print or buy an enclosure for that and then find someway to plug the drives in? I don't have a ton of games on CD or Floppy but I do buy the occasional older Big Box PC game so a way to have the option would be great. I'm aware that USB 3.5in and USB Disc Drives exist.
