Hi, sorry for format i'm on mobile. I have this weird issue for the past few days where whenever i play an online game (it does not matter which game or launcher). I have tried this with League of Legends, Diablo, Overwatch, Rocket League, BF2042,... After every few minutes i get a random DC and have to reconnect. All this is happening WITHOUT losing internet connection. I'm on Windows 10 Pro, wired connection directly to modem. All my drivers are up to date. What i've done is: -Open up cmd with ping 8.8.8.8 -t to see if i was dropping packets, no packets were dropping. -Complete reset of network adapter. -Flush DNS/Renew IP. -Reinstalling the game -Virus/malware scan (no results found) -Complete and clean reinstall of my Windows, which did not resolve the issue.

So my PC is about a year old and every time I play games, my USB's disconnect and reconnect (my keyboard, mouse, headset and microphone), sometimes they don't even reconnect and I've got to take the USB's out and back in for them to reconnect. I thought maybe it wasn't getting enough power but my cable is a CORSAIR 850W RMx SERIESTM MODULAR 80 PLUS® GOLD and is going straight into a power socket. Please if anyone knows why this is happening I would love to fix it as its happening almost every time I try to game something.

As of long ago my PC disconnects from my wifi/network when I screen share for about 5min on Discord. I use an ethernet cable to directly hook up into my router. My internet shouldnt be the problem because I have gigabit fiber at home with over 900+mbps download and upload. Usually when this happens my ping goes all the way up to 5000 and I drop out of call 30 seconds later and come back in about 30 seconds later. It usually fixes itself when I use my PCs built in NIC instead of using an ethernet cable, is there a fix to this?

Manufacturers are making mainly usb 2 dongles to have compatibility with older systems and the transfer rate of usb 2 is still good enough for WiFi For years i had WiFi trouble till i realized that usb 2 devices need to go in usb 2 slots for optimum performance. I have always been putting it in the blue slots at the top for better reception.......... big mistake. Then i plugged it in a black usb slot and it works perfectly no drops, no disconnects in game, it is solid now. If you plug a usb 2 HDD in a 3.0 slot you will see that it drops in and out of optimum speed. usb 3 hardware can be put in a usb 2 slot no trouble.

Hi! Every so often my screen goes blank, than comes back like nothing happend. No windows sound, nothing in the event log (that I could find but I might be looking in the wrong place), nothing during furmark and never during gaming. I tried to wiggle my HDMI cable to see if it connects, switch out my HDMI ports on the monitor, Windows 11 fresh out of the factory, nothing overclocked nothing overheating. Something is certainly wrong, just not sure if it's the GPU or display I managed to capture this with my phone camera. Any good diagnostic advice to help with troubleshooting? Thanks! error.mp4

Hello! Since I have built this computer, there have been significant issues with the mouse and keyboard disconnecting constantly. At first it was due to Corsair iCUE software which has since been removed. My bios has been updated to the latest version F13g, and the chipset drivers have been updated as well. This was back in March. All drivers, windows updates, etc are currently up to date. Another issues was my mouse being connected to a USB extender and that cause massive issues with the mouse disconnecting as well, but this has been removed too. The only other software that's on my computer that controls the MOBO's RGB is RGBFusion. I have not had any issues since installing this a while ago. The issue with the USB's disconnecting went away after troubleshooting the first time, now it has returned with only the mouse disconnecting, which is connected to the front panel of the case directly or through a USB 3.0 extender block. Both my mouse and keyboard are steel series, and use SteelSeries GG software to update and run the RGB. However there are no updates for the mouse or software itself. The mouse randomly disconnects after an hour or every five minutes. It is random. I noticed that when the software disconnects, there is a logo that appears on my taskbar, but disappears within seconds. I have been trying desperately to find the issue of what is causing this problem since I built this computer in March. It is a persisting issue that has caused massive disruption in the beginning, and after a few month hiatus, it has returned with a vengeance. I have no idea what is causing it now, I just hear the disconnecting sound, and then my mouse stops working. The only other time my mouse disconnects without the sound is very rare when playing COD:MW. Please let me know if there is something that I am missing, and an alternative I can use to help solve this issue. I have a little problem here. I recently purchased an MacBook Pro and I connect it to my logitech speakers via the 3.5mm Jack but sometimes I experience an issue where the sound get's redirected from the 3.5mm jack to the build-in speakers. Did someone of you experience the same issue? The only (temp) solution for this problem seems to be unplugging the speakers and plugging them back in :/ Sry if this was the wrong category. I also don't know if that's an Hardware or Software issue. I'm currently running MacOS Catalina 10.15.7

rtx3060 Rtx 3060 Pny 12gb card disconnecting from monitor
Heartoflilith posted a topic in Troubleshooting
My RTX 3060 card on some occasions disconnects from my monitor, sometimes with purple pixley blobs on the lower left-hand side of the screen, I can still hear things in the background and can even interact with what would have been displayed. One time however it was cutting out every second whenever I had any application open. If I boot up the computer and open Microsoft Edge or make a large change on the screen (like booting up a Minecraft world) and it cuts, then it will continue doing it for that session whenever a large change on screen occurs. It will temporarily go away if I reinstall the drivers or restart the computer, but I have done this multiple times and it always comes back after a few days. I have also noticed that my monitor and graphics card is capped at 30hz when the monitor is advertised to run at 60hz, I do not know if this is part of the problem or a separate one (the first one has priory for fixing, I like 30fps). My specs are an AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor, 3.59 GHz. 31.9 Gb of ram. Geforce RTX pny 3060 12gb. Resolution of 3840x2160, g force compatible monitor though I'm using an HDMI cord. I have tried getting a replacement card and it had the same issues. And the rest of the rig works fine with my old graphics card. -
i have bought this keyboard this year and within a month it started randomly disconnecting, half the time not even lighting up and applying key strokes. after a synapse update it fixed itself up and has not done ever since for 2 months and has only just started up again now. oddly it only happens when i'm in windows not in games but it really pisses me off that keeps disconnecting and reconnecting over and over again. tried other ports and does the same thing i even have the razer deathadder and its not affected at all just the keyboard. I dont know if it a timing thing as it only happened once during midday but most commonly does it at night. its a really good keyboard and i have no complaints for it except for the fact that it decides to do this disconnect and reconnect thing now.

Hello everyone I am currently having problem with my USB 3.0 ports. They keep disconnecting my devices randomly for a couple of seconds then reconnecting. This is happening to the ports on the motherboard and on a USB 3.0 PCIe card. I have tried reinstalling my chipset drivers but this had no effect. I am on Windows 10. PC details are in my signature.

I have a Realtek 8812BU WiFi adapter and I'm having an issue where the internet will stop working at random. I stay connected to the network, and I don't get the little yellow symbol on the WiFi icon, but everything stops working. I have also found that going into a call in discord will make the internet stop working immediately. I have to disconnect and reconnect to make it work again. I don't know a lot about networking so I'm not sure how to fix this.

So 2 days ago I got myself a Asus ROG Zephyrus S GX701GV-EV006T. There were no issues for the first two days but today the laptop started disconnecting from my WiFi when under heavy load (when playing games). I have tried to find solutions for this online but found none, so I am asking for help myself. I am currently on the 5GHz band, though I did try the 2.4GHz band but it made no difference. My router is an Asus RT-AC52U if that helps. Thanks in advance

My Mi Box S was delivered today. I set it up and everything was fine during that time I even streamed a few videos. (This was in the afternoon.) Now in the evening, I wanted to watch YouTube so I opened the app, it would not open and said WiFi not connected. So I opened network settings the WiFi connected on it's own, I came back to YT app it said the same thing again. Every time I open network settings, the page is empty it takes a second to refresh the available networks and connects to my router. I tried connecting to a couple mobile hotspot, the problem persists. In the hotspot settings on my phone it shows that the box is disconnecting and reconnecting again and again. I tried factory resetting it, the problem's still there. Any Idea how I can fix this? Mi Box S Android 8.1.0 Build: OPM1.171019.011.588

Right so I used to only have one monitor which I would game on using HDMI to connect it to my PC, however recently I have purchased a second monitor and as my graphics card only has one HDMI slot and 2 DP slots I had to connect the second monitor via HDMI (as it did not have a DP port) and the initial first monitor via DP. Randomly no matter what I am doing the DP will randomly disconnect and turn the initial monitor black, however it still acts as if the monitor is there as all programs open on this monitor do not switch to the secondary monitor. I then have to keep unplugging and re plugging this to create a temporary fix and use the monitor again. Please does anyone have a fix for this?! I will leave system specs below. PC; MSI Nvidia 1070ti GPU - 1 HDMI port, 2 DP ports, 1 DVI port i7-8700 CPU 16GB RAM 256 SSD 2TB HDD 550W PSU Monitor 1: 144hz Refresh rate 1ms Response time 1 HDMI port 1 DP port 1 DVI port 1920x1080 resolution Monitor 2: BenQ ZOWIE RL LCD 60Hz Refresh rate 2 HDMI ports 1 DVI port

Hi Forums, So recently i upgraded my pc with a new motherboard, ram, cooler and cpu, but with this motherboard i am having the problem that my keyboard is disconnecting for a split second at random intervals. i have already tried setting that windows can't disable the device to save power, i don't see any USB drivers for my motherboard, nor can i see any settings in the bios for where i can increase the max power delivered by the USB connections. there are no driver updates for the keyboard and usb devices when i go into device manage (i know this isn't the best way but my previous system worked perfectly fine). my previous motherboard was an asus prime X370-pro, and currently i have an asus ROG Strix X570-e. regarding power delivery i only have one 4 pin CPU connector not connected, but that shouldn't interfere with USB power delivery i believe. so if anyone has a fix/suggestion for this problem, i'd be very grateful for the help

Hi. I recently built my PC and I've been having issues with my hardware disconnecting from my PC while I'm gaming. When I start playing every few minutes the screen flashes to black for about a second. After about an hour, the monitor loses connection with my PC, as does my keyboard and mouse. When it happens, I can still hear the sound but when I alt+f4, the sound keeps playing. Here is my PCPartPicker list. Any help would be greatly appreicated.

Every now and then I hear the windows "device disconnected" sound, and can see that the fans, pump, and RGB lights of my Corsair H115i platinum have stopped working. This lasts for about 1 second, after which they turn on again. It will usually do this 1-5 times in a row, usually shortly after boot / waking, especially when loading into something intensive like a game (But sometimes happens when simply opening chrome etc too). It will then function fine for hours, after which it may do it again. I have ensured that all cabled are plugged in correctly, I've reinstalled ICUE, and I've set all the usb settings in device manager to not allow power saving, but nothing has worked so far. Any suggestions would be hugely appreciated.

So I have my K95 Plat (AZERTY) for about a year now and some months ago my keyboard just stopped working. The RGB always kept working but I couldn't press any button. The buttons that I was holding, were still "being hold", like in a game where I press the key to go forward and my Keyboard disconnects, I kept going forward. To fix it I had to pull the USB cable out and back in, then hope it would work, if not, I had to keep trying again. It fixed itself after a week but now I have the same problem that I had before, but worse. Now it happens when I start my PC and a LOT when I'm playing games/writing documents. It is very annoying when it disconnects when I am in the middle of a game. Anyone know how to fix it?

k95 Keyboard disconnecting and needs to be plugged back in
niofalpha posted a topic in Troubleshooting
My Keyboard (K95 RGB) is disconnecting randomly, I get an error popup in the bottom right saying something along the lines of "USB DEVICE NOT RECOGNIZED". After this it has to be unplugged and plugged back in at the USB. I've confirmed it's not the port (tried 3 different ports, all on 1 PC tho) Restarting PC doesn't fix (needs to unplug the USB) Soft Resetting keyboard Forcing new Firmware Image Reinstalling Drivers I've had the keyboard since they launched back around summer of 2014, is it starting to die? I can provide any further information. -
Hey, So I decided to buy a new router, ASUS RT-86U. I've set it up according to my ISP's settings and it's connected to the internet. However, if I were to change something like my DNS to 1.1.1.1, it disconnects from the internet. I've contacted Asus, they said apart from helping with setup everything else is an ISP problem. Contacted ISP, The range is awesome, I don't have the stability issues where there'd be no internet randomly with my ISP router, it's just WiFi speeds aren't as great as you'd expect for a $400 router hahah. Please help me, I'm not the smartest with networking Cheers.

So I connected my 2nd monitor to my MSI RX 550(link to which one below) and all of the sudden whenever I ran a game the whole monitor shut off for a second and turned back on, and keeps repeating. I have adapters for both that do HDMI to VGA and DVI to VGA (read furthermore for these). I want to know what is causing the issue and maybe get a solution. I have been testing it and came up with some eliminating some factors. Firstly the Screens aren't broken the way I know that has I switched the adapters and the other monitor started having the issue. Next, it's not the adapters, I checked each one disconnected and they work fine. And lastly, it's not the ports because I could run one of them fine in each one one at a time. Also, I updated to latest 18.2.2 drivers. The only thing that I eliminated it to is the software and possibly the card itself but the Newegg page said it handles 3 monitors at once. My Guesses: Not enough voltage Downgrade on drivers The card is not able to handle dual monitors? I was playing Black Ops II and the game started to stutter and then it completely froze for a moment and then my wireless Xbox one controller connected via Bluetooth disconnects, it has happened in GTA V a few times but it hasn't made the whole game lock up and it hasn't done it recently. I turned my controller off and turned it back on, it re-connects. All is going great for a few minutes and then BAM! Whole game freezes, controller disconnects again, game doesn't recover. I then Alt-tabbed out to discover I had no mouse and every time I moved my mouse, I heard a beep through my headset. I pressed the power button to shutdown and it tried to shutdown but then hung with a black screen. I looked in Event Viewer and around the time it happened it showed "Bluetooth HID device either went out of range or became unresponsive." and then nothing in the System log after that. I looked in the other logs but nothing stands out to me that would relate to my mouse becoming unresponsive. I did Google this problem and found some old Microsoft forum post, a Reddit post, and a post from this Forum relating to the same exact issue, but they are from 2016. They say to uninstall update KB3140743, however it is not present on my computer. I am using Windows 10 Version 1803 (Build 17133.73) currently.

Copied and pasted from template I recently got a 3 tb seagate hard drive from a friend. It worked perfectly at first. No problems what so ever. Fast forward a few months and now the drive is disconnecting randomly* and I need to fix this Windows 10 Pro x64 All Games (this is a dedicated games drive) Nothing crashed directly but anything that has to access this disk will randomly fail and as a result no games will load What I've discovered: *The drive crashes after a long period of use If the computer is powered down completely the drive works fine after that According to Speccy, all SMART checks say Good but the status is Warning My current theory is that something isn't handling the disk right and as a result the buffer is getting overflown. This would explain why a complete loss of power is the only thing that fixed the drive. But the smart warning makes me really nervous I don't have the money to buy another drive so I really REALLY need to fix this if I can.
