My ROUTER is a Netgear Nighthawk AC1750 R6700v3 During my 60 minute TeleHealth session with my health provider I lose video and audio connection but my provider says that they can still see my video and still hear my audio as I reconnect to the TeleHealth session. This same disconnect happens 6 up to 10 times during the TeleHealth session. My provider is using the same service with about 60 other clients and says that I am the only client who is having this disconnect problem. Also this disconnect problem happens with both my wireless laptop and my Ethernet wired to the router desktop computer. I have also tested my connection speeds both upload and download and it is averaging 315 Mbps therefore it's not a speed issue and the ping time to the first HOP is always under 5ms. What could be wrong with the Router or Router settings to cause these disconnects in Tele-Health sessions? Is their a website to test the “Tele-Health abilities” of my ROUTER? A Diagnostic of sorts? Is this kind of issue uniquie with brands or types of routers like my NETGEAR Nighthawk? Thanks so much and please reply...

Hopefully the title got your attention. Obviously I'm not serious but there is no logic with my problem so that can only points towards a mysterious entity within my mobo Problem: If I shut down my Pc overnight or for some long period of time. It will not turn on again If I turn it off briefly, it will boot again if without issue. I have bridged the pins on the 24 pin connector and confirm the PSU is supplying power. The only way I get get it to turn on is not based on any logic, connections, electronic components. It based on random luck without any input from myself. I will attempt to turn it on numerous times, just mashing the power button. Nothing happens, I try again 10 minutes later, an hour later, 2 hours later. Nothing! Then when I'm not even in the same room as the pc, it will boot by itself! also take note I have confirmed the problem is not the switch itself. (I have also bridged these pins to confirm it will not start like that that) PC: Asus Prime X470 Pro Ryzen 3700X G Skill 32GB 3600Mhz 2070 Super Samsung Evo 1TB SSD I have tried everything, full disassemble, reassemble with only the basic hardware, confirm connections, test power on main cables. But what is comes down to is the mobo will not boot until a random time that it feels like it. My only idea could be something to do with a capacitor, perhaps not charged enough? who knows. I don't want to buy a new motherboard as it works perfectly when it's turned on. I just don't turn it off anymore. but sometimes it just happens and I can't use my PC What would the next point to troubleshoot, test with multi meter? Any real advice would be greatly appreciated. TIA

I have a computer with a 3070 Ti, 5800X and 750W PSU, I was doing some design on fusion 360 when “BANG!” I saw a white flash and the pc shut down. The GPU looks to be fine and the mobo looks like no blown capacitors but the PSU seems like it’s cooked. I then threw in another PSU to test and the motherboard lit up when power switch was turned on but then that PSU fried too. Anybody know what my problem could be?

Hello I have been getting frequent BSOD'S in windows up to the point where I cannot use my PC for more than an hour before it crashes with a BSOD. Usually error codes include 1. IRQL not less or equal 2. KMODE exception not handled 3. PAGED fault in an NON Paged area frequent browser tab crashes. dont know if its related but this seemed odd to me so I mentioned it. etc I recently upgraded my GPU to a 3060Ti and that is the only recent change in my PC. I am using 2*8 ADATA XPG GAMMIX D30 3200 Modules at 16-18-18-36 timings at 3200MHz. I have run the windows memory diagnostic tool but it did not find any problems with the RAM. I did a fresh install of windows and the problem is still there. checked my PC for malware. its clean. All the internet research points towards a faulty memory module. Does anyone here have some experience with these errors? How do I know for sure that my RAM is faulty?

My computer frequently loses internet speed to the point where it's no longer usable for ~15 at a time. Simple online blogs or things like the Google homepage end up taking a minute to load and sometimes fail to do so. The best I figured I'd try to diagnose it is moving my computer into the living room and hard wiring directly to the router and check the speeds there vs. my Wifi card. At close range (within 6 feet) the hardwired and wireless (Both 2.4 and 5g) give the same connection speed according to Ookla. Moving it back into my room the 2.4 is massively reduced in performance and the 5g is moderately reduced, but also spotty speedwise. Is this just a normal thing? According to the others in the house they don't have any problems. For reference, the modem is a Motorola SB6141, the router is an Asus RT-N66U, and my Wifi is a USB 3.0 Linksys AE3000. There are in total 4 computers in the house with a smart TV plugged in direct to the router. For further reference, the Ookla speedtest results are as follows; Proximity <6ft Ping Download Upload Wired 16 60 6.85 2.4 17 60.42 6.54 5g 18 59 6.77 Proximity <40ft (results averaged) 2.4 60.3 16.2 4.13 5g 38 46.59 3.92 I'd like to know if I can solve this, because those numbers above (At distance) are higher than usual since everyone was out today. Anything that requires an internet connection is a crap shoot on whether or not it will work.

Hello. I have some technical maintenance and know-how but this one is truly bizarre and beyond me. Please excuse my long post. I just want to make sure I'm as thorough as possible. I also apologize if the post is hard to understand. This issue was very confusing to document and present because I didn't know when or where to even start. Problem: The computer enters a state where a certain set of programs will not launch. This state persists through reboots. Everything else functions normally. When does it happen (Bear with me here): While it is in this weird state, I will occasionally do something hardware related in my tower, such as take out the video card or replace the case. When I put it back together, There is a high chance it gets out of this state. The last time it got out of this state was very recently when I moved to a new house and re-assembled my setup including taking out and putting the video card back in for transit. When it is out of this state, it will boot normally and function normally for a handful of times, usually 1-3 days. I average turning on and shutting down my PC about 3 times a day, and keep it on for up to 4 hours on end. After the 2-3 day mark, a very weird boot sequence happens. Normally, it goes from showing on one of the monitors the motherboard logo and then the Windows 10 loading, and to the login screen within 10 seconds. As far as I can tell, it is a perfectly healthy boot and everything works as expected. I will try my best to record a video of this happening. After the 2-3 day mark, after I turn my PC on, all 3 of my screens will be black for about 10 seconds. The lights blink on them as if they are receiving no input. After these 10 seconds, the motherboard logo is skipped. Windows loading takes just a bit longer than usual. When it gets to the login screen, neither my mouse and keyboard (perhaps all USB devices but I can't be sure) don't work for about 10 seconds. My keyboard's backlights are not even illuminated, if that means anything. Once they start up, I get to log in. After logging in, it will play a sound of a USB device being plugged in and then being unplugged. Then it will show a notification of a USB device not being recognized. Every USB device I plugged in (hardware list at bottom of post) functions normally, so I'm not sure what it even is. The PC has, at this point, entered the state. After this state has begun, a certain set of programs will not launch. By this I mean that I try running them and nothing shows up. I think the process is in Task Manager though I can't be sure. This includes the following programs: Corsair Utility Engine, Corsair's keyboard macro and backlight setting program Battle.net, Blizzard's game launcher (it tries to launch and the error reporting window comes up without showing) PlaysTV, a passive game recording software Bethesda Games launcher When it started: The cycle of normal -> weird state -> normal began about 3-4 months ago. The first time it happened was when I wrapped up my tower, drawing tablet (as a monitor) keyboard, mouse, microphone and headphones, and made a pretty smooth 1 hour car transit, and re-set up my PC somewhere else. My workaround: I have a multi-monitor setup (hardware list at the bottom of the post), and switching from Extended view to Duplicate view on all my monitors lets me manually launch the programs I need. They function perfectly normal after I switch back to Extended. Why this works, I have no earthly clue. Maybe there's a hint here for those of you who know more than I. Stuff I have tried: Reinstall Windows/uninstall recent programs/isolate software. I have tried reinstalling Windows 10 from a USB key (not its own recovery system) and the issue persists through it. It happens on clean Windows 10 installations once it is in the state. Try to isolate what device may be causing it. I have tried all the peripherals. It happened through all of the combinations. I have not tried taking out RAM sticks or the video card or anything like that. I will gladly retry peripherals if someone thinks it is necessary though. Change video card PCIE lane. The act of opening up my PC and tampering around with it, like I mentioned before, fixed it for 2-3 days. Then the weird boot sequence happened eventually and it started again. Googling it. Believe me I have tried every possible related Google query under the sun. My guesses: Please don't read this unless you have no clue either. I wouldn't want my unsophisticated guesswork to be the basis of someone's theory. Anything else out of the ordinary? When I plug in a USB device or HDMI monitor, my headphones (not usb, but ¼” converted with 3.5 mm adapter plugged into front of PC case) play or make up to 5 loud “click” sounds after the USB detected sound. My mouse and keyboard are both by Corsair, but they use different softwares for the extra features such as Macros and what not. Corsair Utility Engine for keyboard, and Corsair M95 Gaming Mouse Configuration for the mouse. While in the state, although the keyboard software does not load at all, the mouse one does. Interestingly, the mouse software does not actually do anything. None of my macros or sensitivity settings work until I do the workaround and launch my keyboard software, after which the mouse functions as normal. I suppose I should also mention that the case USB 3.0 ports don’t work, but the 2.0 ones do. Very likely because I didn’t wire it up properly. Case is Define R5. Parts List (let me know if I didn’t include something you feel is necessary): Motherboard: ........................ Gigabyte Z97X-SLI GPU: ...................................... XFX R9 290 CPU: ...................................... Intel i7 4970K Mouse:................................... Corsair Vengeance M95 Keyboard:............................... Hi, My Pc isn't displaying on my monitor and isn't powering my keyboard. My part list is: https://uk.pcpartpicker.com/user/Superchamp01/saved/qm4KHx This isn't a new build, has been working now for over a year. I was thinking it could be an issue with the mobo as it is a multi-component issue, and the fans were spinning on GPU (although it may still not be working.) It turns on, no solution found using a mobo speaker, but doesn't display or send power to keyboard. Please help asap! Need my computer for exams and am quite screwed without it. Thanks, Armaan

So I'm currently having the issue with my PC that after a bit of use sometimes its hours sometimes it is just a couple, where the monitors will stop showing picture, I can't turn the PC off without flipping the power switch. I can't hold down the power button, the reset button doesn't do anything, nothing works. Now I'd posted previously about my PSU making noise and I guess going out, but if that were the issue wouldn't all the power go on it? I also thought maybe it was from re-overclocking my Ryzen 2600 to 4.0Ghz on the new motherboard, so I brought it down to stock clock, and it was still doing it, now one thing it could also be, when we redid my cooler we just used what was on the CPU and the pump so could it be that we just need to reapply thermal paste? My temperatures are great, like I max at 40 Celcius with most games, I haven't tried it with Cinebench though. The other issue could be my GPU, which is a 4GBs Power Color Red Dragon RX580, because I had the same issue with my GTX 660Ti when it would get to hot or it wasn't getting enough airflow, but it, as far as I know, is getting great airflow. This occured after we switched Motherboards, to my ASUS ROG Strix X470F I have also gotten this screen a couple of times but of course instead its got my build on it and of course it had detected my keyboard.

I just built my first PC after waiting for 2 months for the parts and overpaying for inflated parts; it isn't booting nor producing any beep codes, just dead. I'm looking at the PSU since (aside from the basics such as properly seating the processor, inserting the ram in their proper slots, not a misplaced standoff, or actually turning on the PSU, etc.) I've also pre-tested my RAM and Graphics Card in a computer service shop and they're working perfectly. Components: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 Asus TUF B450-M Plus Gaming Powercolor RX580 (Used but as said already tested) 2 x 4 gb 2666 Mhz Kingston HyperX 256 gb Team Group GX2 SATA 2.5" SSD 1 tb Seagate Barracuda Item in question: Corsair CV550 80+ Bronze More details: I've tried shorting out the front panel power button pins and the computer still won't start. Next, I've disconnected the PSU from the rest of the computer except for the Molex fans and drives, I tried the paperclip test on it, and the fan did not move even by a bit. I even tried swapping the cable for another one but still nothing. If anyone has the same model could you please tell me if the fan immediately turns after turning your computer on (read on some forums that some PSU fans don't immediately start turning until hitting up a certain load) or if anyone has an idea on why it's not booting at all, please let me know. I can't afford having an expensive brick after working my ass off and am on the end of my wits

So I have a gaming laptop (specs below) that I used to use in college for a lot of my HW and gaming and long story short it has been sitting around not getting used much since I graduated. I have recently booted it up to use every now and again. I haven't gamed on it much until today and something is very wrong... I loaded up league and it could barely manage 15fps. I have no clue how I would diagnosis a GPU (give me a failing HDD/SSD any day on a laptop haha) so I would like to ask the LTT community if y'all have any ideas. Everything that I have read said that I could do a benchmark and compare but that doesn't help me much to diagnosis (if I'm wrong please correct me). Other than that I haven't been able to find anything helpful. It seems like my laptop is just using the integrated graphics, I'm monitoring on GPU-Z and the GPU temps idling around 50 C... But I checked the nvidia settings panel and everything looks fine Laptop specs: i7-6700HQ @ 2.6GHz 16GB DDR4 Ram @ 3000MHz Dual Ch 525GB M.2 SSD 2TB 5400rpm HDD GTX 1070 8GB

PC Specs:- CPU: i7-4790K Cooler: Corsair H105 MoBo: MSI Z97S SLI Krait Edition ATX RAM: Kingston Fury 16GB DDR3 SSD: Crucial MX100 256GB HDD: Seagate Barracuda 1TB GPU: Gigabyte Windforce GTX 970 PSU: Corsair 750W Semi-Modular Case: NZXT H440 http://uk.pcpartpicker.com/p/KVb9P6 - Hello, I'm hoping you can help me with a concern I have with my PC. The persisting issue I have is that over the last week or so my computer has been crashing without warning, however the system does not completely shut down and refuses to boot up properly after turning it off by holding down the power button. When I say it doesn't shut down properly, I mean when this 'crash' happens, the front case fans continue to spin and the LED NZXT logo on my case stays illuminated. I also have a Corsair H105 water cooling unit and the light on the CPU block turns off including the 2 mounted radiator fans and the rear case fan. It's only after a period of waiting before the system boots as normal and everything runs smoothly until boom... another crash with the same outcome. The crash could occur anywhere between a few minutes to an hour or even more. If I had to think about times when this has happened specifically, it seems to occur the most when I am viewing content on either on twitch or YouTube which is strange to me, and once or twice whilst gaming but I don't want to bring it completely down to this because it's just an observation I have had but I don't want to rule it out down to chance. This is a very new problem I have been having but I know that something just isn't right and I'm wondering what the problem could be and what I can do to diagnose the issue. I built the system late January/ early Ferbruary and everything has run pretty well until now. This being my first PC build I'm not very knowlegable when it comes down to the nitty gritty technical stuff and I only know about the components I have researched and in turn used in this build, so if there is anything you need to know about the computer (temperatures when idle/ under load etc.) please ask and I will provide you with the information required. Again this is a very new system so I decided to post this now before leaving it to continue any longer. Thank you in advance! PS. I have attached a photo of the interior of my PC for reference (should you need it)

Hello everyone, I have heard good things about your community here and was wondering if you could help me out, I built a computer in October last year and it has been running fine, though recently it will occasionally power down unexpectedly and then reboot itself but not show any information on the monitors, also after it has seemingly self rebooted, it is unresponsive to me pressing either the reset button and the power button, sometimes it will even enter this state of 0 output and complete unresponsiveness immediately after powering on. Any tips as to what could be causing this and how to resolve it would be greatly appreciated as this is my main PC for the family and I need it fixed asap. Having opened the side panel, when the PC isn't responding, the CPU fan is not running. UPDATE: The PC will now never start. What is it likely to be if the CPU fan isn't running? The motherboard?
