Hi, Recently bought a new gpu due to the last one breaking; set it up today and attempting to play fortnite, only to find out that on boot application is throttled to 6-8 frames and 200ms input delay. this problem is caused by the application only seeming to use 2% cpu 0% gpu when BEservice.exe is open (BattlEye cheat software), but when closed fortnite returns to its usual CPU/GPU usage in menu. is there anything that i can try before i reinstall the game? drivers are up to date, occurs in performance mode also. pics attached show fps in red text above task manager.

I have a 7 year old PC. Affording a new one is no issue. I have a good amount of money saved up, though part of reason why because I'm frugal, and that means if I can get another 6-12 months out of this PC before rebuilding, that would feel efficient. There are also goals I have: Update resume. Apply for better jobs. Research different career options / learn marketable skills. Make various doctors appointments. Have more of a social life, and dating Sell things I don't need. Lots of other errands, phone calls, financial stuff and paperwork to do Travel or go on a roadtrip this year Some non-gaming hobbies Even if I had a great build right now, I probably wouldn't use it much the next few months. And it wouldn't feel special to be gaming a lot, knowing that I have other things looming over me. If I can make meaningful progress in the majority of these goals - let's say 5-6 out of 8 goals in the next few months - then reward myself with a PC, it would feel very special.

So I ordered my new Ryzen 7800X-3D build on Monday. I already have the package in my hands, Im just waiting for my new case to show up. However, NewEgg hasn't charged my Credit Card yet. There isn't even a "Pending" Transaction on my card. Is this normal? Is NewEgg really this slow at completing transactions??? I mean I guess it doesn't matter too much, its just freaking weird that I have received my Mobo, RAM, and CPU before NewEgg even charged me...

Hey, I'm having a really hard time with my high end computer and I can't find any solution for almost half a year. So, I had a PC that I build in September 2021 (MSI RTX 3080, Ryzen 7 5800X, 32gb of ram, X570 motherboard, 2x m.2 ssd, 360mm aio, 850W power supply, 2x high refresh rate monitors) everything was fine from the start, no input lag, no delay, no mouse/keyboard problem, until one day in March this year, I woke up from a night shift, turned on the PC and noticed that my mouse and keyboard feels weird when moving around in desktop / games and when typing (bad mouse responsiveness in games when moving my mouse, like it's really slow, floaty, not accurate, delay when looking around in games), I tried everything, reinstalling windows multiple times, changing every hardware (components, peripherals), changing ISP, moving to another house and nothing helped. So I sold that PC thinking that there was some sort of a problem that I just couldn't figure out. Then I build a second PC with all new parts that are listed below, except PSU and monitors, hoping everything will be fixed, but it didn't fix anything at all. It's still there and I'm out of ideas.. I'm playing csgo competitively on high level, so I have some muscle memory and I know how the game and mouse should feel, but now when I'm trying to click on something with this input lag/delay it's like I've never used my mouse before.. and when this problem occured I can't play ANY games because it's so unresponsive. It also feels like I'm playing on low refresh rate and low fps when this input lag/delay kicks in even tho I have stable FPS and 144hz. The input lag, floatyness and other stuff is even more noticeable WHEN installing windows 10 and it is also happening in BIOS. Also, I have a 850W power supply, and when I did that power supply calculator thingy from outervision website, the recommended PSU wattage for my new PC build is 585W which is odd because on the Gigabyte GPU website the recommended PSU is 750W.. and then I tried another calculator from newegg, the recommended PSU wattage there was 800-899 W. So I'm thinking that even when my PSU has 850W it is somehow not efficient enough to power my components(?) or there is some problem with PSU that I can't figure out. I didn't try to replace my monitor and PSU with another because I have no option to do so right now. And also I want to upgrade to 1000W PSU and see if it makes any difference. I tried to update my GPU to the latest firmware,472.12 and GE force experience told me that it would require a restart because it's critical update. Ive never had a GPU update tell me that before. When I did, the restart happened, my GPU wasn't detected at all and in device manager it was labeled "Display" rather than the usual 1660 TI label and not under Display Adapters. It came back eventually but then I restarted my pc again, and it turns out the update didn't go through, so now i'm in the process of using DDU to hopefully make sure it installs properly. But it initially disconnected again, before this time restoring that it was a 1660 TI in device manager. The fact that it disconnects initially when the restart happens has a me a tad worried. Is this GPU dying? Specs CPU i7 8700 GPU : Windforce 1660 ti Asus prime h310 plus motherboard 16 gb ddr4 ram PSU 500w Storage : 3 SSD's of various sizes.

My pc has a delay or problem with temperature. Apparently it only starts when the room temperature is really low, talking about 60-75 F. On average it's always 80-98 F in my room so to maintain it cool i use an air conditioner to start it up and then leave the room cool. I understand that a computer has problems booting in high temperatures but, not even turning on is kinda weird for me, this always happens and i have to wait about 20-30 minutes for it to turn on. Sometimes I think it's a delay because I press the on button and takes the same time to turn on without air conditioner other times it turns on normally. I don't know which problem is it or what to do. The worst case for me is meddling with the wires. - I've tried changing the location in my room so it's on a cooler area. - Changed it's outlet - Changed some parts - Changed the OS to an nvme I use my pc almost around 8 to 10 hrs a day and I use it for gaming, research, homework/projects and online classes, almost everyday. I sometimes think i'm overloading the PSU My specs are Ryzen 9 3900X 12-core MSI Radeon RX 570 Armor 8GB Rog Strixx B-450 DDR4 32GB (4x8GB) 3200MHz Nvme Sabrent 500GB ssd kingston 240GB " 480 GB Hdd Seagate 2Tb EVGA 600 BQ 80+ (used) Peripharels are: Razor Cynosa Logitech G203 Razer Kraken Headset HXS Webcam Juonuvo Mic 2 Scepter 27" MSI Gungnir case

Hi everyone, I have a problem on apex legends, but also on warzone the same thing happens it is a problem with the mouse, since I had the possibility to at least play at acceptable conditions in full hd with my rx 590 circa a year and a half ago I had this problem for most of the time now I don't know if it happened to someone but around the internet several people seem to have had problems with this game of a different nature also very similar to mine,anyway to be clear.. I can assure you that with my settings (800 dpi 2.0 in game) the mouse and the sensitivity of the game should not be so out of phase, and as if in reality the sensitivity was much higher it was much faster and impossible to track enemies in these conditions it is obviously impossible to play, even lowering or changing the combinations between dpi and game sensitivity it is absolutely unplayable also because as I said after trying everything and more around the web and the last time the game worked for a while disabling the game dvr from the registry, however, I could not find a definitive solution. I also changed the mouse, keyboard and mobo recently I have a Razer Blackwidow keyboard and a Razer Viper Mini mouse Currently not working after i reinstalled everything from scratch for the umpteenth time. This is a list of what i tried to do: - anything regarding acceleration disable mouse and pointer precision, MarkC Mouse Acceleration Fix, lower acceleration and maximum cursor speed to the minimum possible from the windows accessibility control panel. - as I said disable the gamedvr also from regedit and now it does not work even at the beginning, disable the full screen optimizations both the flag 211 of the regedit in the children folder, and obviously through the properties of the apex.exe icon file. - I had read around the web that synapse 3 the game program for razer could create many problems in this sense so it was recommended to uninstall it, I did it but nothing. - uninstall and reinstall the drivers for the mouse and all usb devices and trying other usb ports. - Also I have read around that lowering the mouse polling rate would have solved the problem obviously this is not the solution that I prefer besides the fact that the 125hz mouse worked with much more stutter obviously and only for a couple of games but after a few games already from the map on the ship to land you immediately notice that the feeling of sensitivity has changed again always the same problem that is it works for a few games and only sometimes and then randomly does not work anymore. I think I have never reached such a level of frustration in my life, I have worked hard to be able to afford this pc and instead, despite my efforts, I cannot play first person shooters at all. List my specifications: OS: Windows 10 Pro 64 bit All up to date MOBO: MSI B550 Gaming Plus (Bios version: 7C56v14) (Chipset driver version : amd_chipset_software_2.10.13.408) CPU: AMD Ryzen 5 3600 6-Core Processor @ 4.20 GHz 1.275V GPU: AMD RX 590 Sapphire Nitro + Gold Edition (Driver version: 20.12.1) RAM: 32 GB DDR4 @ 3200 Mhz XMP enabled 1.35V PSU: Sharkoon SilentStorm Cool Zero 650W, 80 Plus Gold certified, fully modular MONITOR: AOC G2590FX 144Hz Freesync Mouse & Keyboard: Razer Viper Mini & Razer Blackwidow If anyone had encountered something similar or if someone just wanted to give me some advice I would be infinitely grateful. Hi i have this weird problem couple of months now.i upgraded my pc year ago everything was fine until september or october.i ussualy play fortnite competitively and have this weird problem pretty much my mouse movemernt randomly feels sluggish/delayed its like less responsive mouse pretty much feels off,like its not smooth.slowin down randomly i can tell everytime this happens because fortnite is battle royale game where i build and its noticable even my little brother notices it.this problem started like 5-6 months ago maybe i think i messed up some settings or something i dont know this happens only in game dekstop is fine.also lowering resolution in game config from 1920x1080(native) to 1024x768 helps a little bit it reduces floaty mouse feel but not fixes it for 100%.i have mouse acceleration off,vsync off, i tryied reinstalling gpu drivers.reseted windows in settings to factory but still not luck My specs:gtx750 ti 8gb ram Intel core i7 3770 Game runs at constant 120 fps

Well first off I wanna start with what has really been bugging me. Ive searched everywhere for an answer but nobody has asked. So with my XLR mic, there is a gain nob (of course), but what about control panel volume. Like what level should my mic be in control panel sound settings. Should it like be all the way up or in the middle or what. And my next question is direct monitoring. Ive looked up everything about my delay im having and nothing has fixed it. I have the UMC22 and ive installed and reinstalled the driver multiple times, but I still get a fat delay no matter what. Can somebody please help.

I have a little problem, i tried to do some Undervolting to an AMD Athlon ii x4 635, i turned off the computer (without plugging off the rig), when i Push the Button, fans start to spin and the rig delays about 1 minute before starting to post 40 seconds when i turn the voltage back to stock, everything starts normally. When i plug it off and back on it posts with no delay This is my old rig Motherboard GA-M68MT-S2P rev 3.0 Amd Athlon ii x4 635 2.9 ghz 2Gb Ram ddr3 1333 mhz (will be 6 later) GT 710 1gb ddr3 Hard drive Sata 3 5700 rpm 500 gb PSU Noganet (generic) 500w ATX One thing to note is that the PSU is not presenting any visible malfunctioning or instability, and not much temperature when the rig is working at 100%

Hello, I have upgraded Windows 7 Enterprise 64-bit to Windows 10 Enterprise 64-bit version 1909 and noticed that restarting or shutting down laptop takes like 4 minutes. It is just stuck at "Restarting..." or "Shutting Down..." screen until it finally does restart or shut down. Everything is fine in "Safe Mode" though... I guess there is some kind of service or running application that delays restarting or shutting down process and I have no idea how to find out which one causes this.

So, I just got a Razer Blade Pro 17 (late 2019) and everything's working honkey dorry. New drivers are installed and everything seems to be doing well. However, I have a small issue where, whenever I play sound on a lower volume (under 20/100) I'll get this slight hiss sound from my speakers. It seems to delay slightly whenever I stop playing the sound (I stop the sound and about half a second the hissing stops). At higher volumes it doesn't seem to be a problem (either that or I don't notice it?). Any help would be appreciated. No info online from what I've seen for this particular problem.

Hello everyone, i recently bought a LG C9 55" OLED TV and a Samsung HW-Q80R soundbar. I get severe audio delay no matter what i do on the TV, which is very irritating. (around 150-200ms) I had a SL9YG soundbar from LG before and had the same audio desync. Even my friends comment on it without me bringing it up. The TV and soundbar are connected via eARC HDMI. My pc is connected via hdmi directly to the TV. Firmware is up-to-date on both devices. The audio delay is on any input from the pc aswell as internal apps like netflix and YouTube on the TV. Apparently this is a known issue with LGs OLED TVs? I've seen some People say this is not an issue if you use the soundbar as passthrough. I dont want to use the HDMI passthrough on the soundbar because then i lose all the HDMI 2.1 Features of the TV. Is there something i can do? There are Posts in LG forums since the release of the C8 TVs (even with LG Moderators commenting) and never with a solution.

Im looking for a decent 144hz monitor without a massive price tag. I mainly play CSGO and Overwatch so 144hz is something i will definitely need. Ive had my eyes on the BenQ XL2411Z for a couple years now and a friend of mine owns it and his only complaint is the reduced functionality with the pivot but thats not really something i care about too much since i only go to lans maybe once a year. Any other suggestions and opinions are welcome but the price tag shouldnt go at least too much beyond 300€.

Different v-sync options can have different different amounts of input delay. Linus has a few youtube videos that shows it, like this one. Can different video game engines have the some differences in input delay, since they are all programmed different?

Hello LTT community, As sort of a fun project or idea, could I use a Raspberry Pi as sort of a power switch pass through with a delay timer. The reason for this would be to allow for a phase change cooling unit to warm up and start before turning a PC on. I already know how to use an RPi as an HVAC system controller with an info display output, so my question would be as how to program or setup the GPIO hardware in order to pass through a power on/off signal, with a ~ 4 minute delay on the startup of the PC. I know this isn't really a practical (or cheap) solution, so DO NOT start ranting about it before considering it's just a fun idea. And, yes, I do know how to design and build the mechanical aspects of a phase change cooling system, because I'm into mechanical engineering. (The idea is kind of like trying to build an LD PC-V2 for cheaper, so yeah.) Thanks, DAGGER51

I have been having issues with my computer for serveral months in regards to aim and the fluidity of games. I will make a list of things I have done so I don't get suggestions I have already tried. It has been about 8 months since it first occurred and I can't figure it out and seemingly have tried everything. Any help would be endlessly appreciated. Thank you. I will note that the problem first started around the time I first used a audiotechnica at2020, I later removed the mic from my computer but it did nothing anyways and since there arent any drivers that are installed from it(I don't believe anyways) I dont see how that could be it. Alas, the list. One other thing, to describle the problem. It always feels like my hand is a half second or so behind what is actually happening on screen. I thought it may be ram, bought a new set of 32 gb. No fix. Thought it could be bad usb on motherboard, replaced mb. No fix. Thought it could be mice, I have about four now and none of them function properly. No fix. Tried to fresh reinstall windows, maybe I should give this another go? Its been a while. Tried to lower monitor from 144 to every possible hz. No fix. Markc in registry. No fix. Took overclock on all gear off. No fix. Purchased new drive and installed games on serveral different ones. No fix. I have tinkered with some files but I no longer recal what they were. People said it may help, but never did. Turned off powersaving mode on usb roothub. No fix. Reinstalled every driver for mice/gfx/mb/cpu, but I'd be welcome to know if there are anything that may help in specific to try again. Vsync on/off. No fix. My theories are that its either software related(which im not very knowledgeable in) so ideas are always welcome. Or that my cable from monitor to computer is trash? Not providing accurate response times etc. Cable is DVI. Or that my outlet isnt providing adequate power anymore for some reason/same for psu. Although I seriously doubt this. Thank you for reading, and thanks if you try to help. Would love to resolve this.

Hi, im trying to create a transition for some text and my problem now is that i have a .6s delay because i want it to start after another transition has begun, although i would not want the delay to be .6s for transitioning out. This piece of code is a box with text in it, when u hover, it does a bouncing animation and when the bouncing ends it increases in height which has kind of a dropdown effect, that new area that the extra height creates is where the transition for the other piece of text comes in. The transitioning in is fine, its just that the height decreases out faster than the text disappears which looks ugly. <a href="#" id="buy_left" class="buy"> BUY <p class="price">2 USD</p> </a> .buy { color: #404d63; background: white; text-align: center; line-height: 50px; width:80px; height: 50px; position: absolute; font-size: 30px; text-decoration: none; transition: background 0.5s, color 0.5s, height 0.3s ease-in-out 0.5s; } .buy:hover { background: #84ba71; color: white; animation: bounce1 0.7s; height: 80px; } .buy:hover .price {opacity: 1;} #buy_left { margin: 120px 0 0 4%; z-index: 100; } .price { color: #b22525; font-size: 20px; font-weight: bold; position: absolute; opacity: 0; margin: -15px 0 0 14px; transition: opacity 0.4s ease-in 0.6s; } @keyframes bounce1 { 0%, 50%, 100% { -webkit-transform: translateY(0); transform: translateY(0); } 25% { -webkit-transform: translateY(-10px); transform: translateY(-10px); } 75% { -webkit-transform: translateY(-10px); transform: translateY(-10px); }

After using Voicemeeter for a while now, I don't think I can live without it. There is only one issue I'm having, and that is that the audio is very slightly delayed. This wouldn't be noticeable to the average PC user watching videos and whatnot, but when playing CS GO, it is VERY noticeable. Rather then the sounds playing right when I hit the mouse button, it happens slightly after, which isn't good for competitive CS. When using WDM, MME or KS modes of output, the delay is huge, it is only when I use the ASIO mode that is becomes usable. I have tried changing pretty much every settings I have come across but nothing has worked. http://i.imgur.com/SWdyPJd.png Here is a screenshot of my Voicemeeter Banana, I have come here after trying everything I can think of. Thanks

Dbrand states on their website that the item gets sent within 72h and usually in as little as 12h. 7 days later my order still hasen’t been sent. I contacted them and they said that they have a large volume of orders so it might take a while. Has this happened to any of you guys before? I’m pretty dissapointed.

Computer starts to hang on a few things when I start it, example "game launchers, cant enter text, and the show hidden icons is blank, task manager lags up" web pages work great btw. this is all solved after I change the resolution back and forth. but I have to do that at every restart,. This didnt start till I upgraded to a 4k tv, and everything runs perfect other than that hickup thinking its my video card or a conflict with two different hdmi versions "tv is 2.0 and my card is only 1.4" running an R9 390 xfx anyone know a simple resolve for this? or is it time to save up for a new vid card? Thanks for your time Just
