  1. What fan configuration would you guys recommend for better airflow? I've currently got the top 2 radiator fans setup at intakes with auto speed in the bios. Rear fan running at Full Speed Exhaust and Front 3 Fans running at Full Speed Intakes, AIO pump running at full speed. My only concern is I'm not sure if I should have the radiator fans as intake or exhaust? Photo is attached. Thanks for your help. 2. Hello everyone this is my first ever build and I’m running into an issue where nothing will power up. I have my assumptions it’s the front panel cables. For my case (Deepcool Matrexx 50) came with 4 cables. A single cable for the Power Led+, Power Led-, a two headed for Power SW and a two header for HDD power+-. I do have the manual and have put the cables in as instructed but nothing happens. So I started tinkering and I found there is power to the board but it’s only indicative by putting the led power cables in the wrong places and the start up switches leds turn on. But this is the only indication power is there. I will provide pictures and I hope someone can help me. I’ll explain even further in-depth. When I put the front panel cables into my motherboard (MSI MPG X570 GAMING EDGE WIFI ATX AM4 Motherboard) nothing happens all in the correct locations and everything. But when I put the POWER LED- cable into pin 2 and POWER LED+ in pin 6 the led flashes. It also does this for other pins like pin 9 which is the reserve. So I tried to leave it like that and plug the rest of the cables in as indicated by the manual but still nothing. I’d bet I’m missing something here but to my knowledge I’ve checked most of the troubleshooting options. Thanks again for the help! first photo is cables in wrong spot and led on. second photo Everything in correct locations no led power or computer turn on. the Manual and YouTube guides show the wording on the cables should be facing down so that’s what I did but I also tried them facing up same result. Picture of the cables
  3. I have considered replacing my original fans from deepcool on my AIO, since they are a bit noisy sometimes. They are currently plugged into the system fan header, since I only have one CPU-fan header on my mobo. I have considered using the shadow wings 2 120 mm PWM white from bequiet, since they fit into my white theme and have a quite dB rating. But when I compare the specs I see that: bequiet shadow wings 2 120 mm PWM white has airflow of 38,5 CFM air pressure of 0,82 mmH2O https://www.bequiet.com/en/casefans/1700 I am currently using a deepcool Captain 240EX white which has: Airflow of 153 CFM Air pressure 3,31 mmH2O http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2016-04/1286_5201.shtml Would there be any problems just replacing the fans?
  4. Heyo, I just got some confirmation that deepcool will be sending me their Fryzen cooler as RMA replacement for my damaged AIO. Will it have enough clearance on my ram sticks? I am using 4 trident z rgb sticks right now. If anyone has some experience with the Fryzen, it would be much appreciated if you can share the ram clearance on this thing. Edit 1: I have a Strix x370-F motherboard.
  5. Will a 155mm cooler fit in the spec 01 i am specifically talking about a deepcool gammaxx 400 with a 120mm argb fan. Saw thin on sale on craigslist for sale for 5$.
  6. Hey! I followed all the installation steps but for some reason my pump barely lights up and one of my fans lights up green and blue while the others don't at all. It doesn't seem to recognize it in Aura Sync, and I already tried with the wired controller which does the same thing. Can someone help?
  7. Deepcool GameStorm Assassin lll Cooler Master Ma620m Be quite dark rock pro 4 Noctua NH-D15 I'm looking for a bang for buck cooler with great looks. All these coolers costs almost the same, i can't figure out which one is the best for RYZEN.
  8. I'm planning to build a gaming rig with all the lightings sync through razer connect. This is my build. **CPU** | [AMD Ryzen 5 3600 3.6 GHz 6-Core Processor] **Motherboard** | [ASRock B450 Steel Legend ATX AM4 Motherboard] **Memory** | [Team T-Force Delta RGB 16 GB (2 x 8 GB) DDR4-3000 Memory] **Storage** | [Crucial P1 1 TB M.2-2280 NVME Solid State Drive] **Video Card** | [Gigabyte Radeon RX 5700 XT 8 GB GAMING OC Video Card] **Case** | [Deepcool MATREXX 55 ATX Mid Tower Case] **Power Supply** | [Raidmax Thunder RGB 735 W 80+ Bronze Certified Semi-modular ATX Power Supply] **Case Fan** | [Deepcool RF 120 (3 in 1) 56.5 CFM 120 mm Fans] **Case Fan** | [Deepcool MF120 56 CFM 120 mm Fans] As you can see I have 6 fans I wanna know if I can connect those 3 fans with 2 RGB fan controller in one addresable RGB header... I have no idea on how to sync the RGB strip of the case and the 6 fans to the motherboard... I haven't have all the hardware because I'm just planning it through. Please guide me on how I shall proceed on connecting the 6 fans through the motherboard.
  9. My x99 board died on me during the holiday period and I had to buy new hardware with whatever little money I got left after the big spending season... Long story short, due to the PCIe layout on my motherboard, I am no longer able to fit a 240mm or 280mm AIO in the bottom of the chassis (I am using mATX). Technically I could be able to fit it, but it will be touching the graphics card and I really don't want that. The only other fan spaces that I have are one 120mm and one 140mm. Due to price concerns, I am looking into some cheaper AIOs and the DeepCool GAMMAXX L120T in particular, as I can get that dirt cheap. I looked at the Arctic Freezer II, but that is about 40 bucks more. The Kraken x42 is 100 bucks more than the DeepCool AIO, which is quite out of budget at the moment and I am not sure that it will even make that much of difference. Does anyone here have experience with this brand and cooler in particular? It will be cooling a (hopefully slightly overclocked) 3900x, which currently runs with its stock cooler.
  10. Hi community,There is no unified way of syncing RGB lighting between brands. Brands all have their little ecosystem: it can be confusing and sometimes even overwhelming.I took the initiative to start quick guides on how to setup a system per brand. In my next comments there will be very poor attempts of mine to create Schematics for different RGB solutions. So everyone on the forum, can quickly look up how the RGB-solution of their favorite Brand works! CORSAIRCorsair LL/SP/HD RGB fans have two cables/headers: One is a 4-pin connector for power, the other a RGB header.Plug the RGB header in the Fan hub and plug the 4-pin power connector in the commander pro (up to 6x fans). Then connect the fan hub via the LED header to the commander pro. You can also connect your Corsair LED-strips - trough the LED header - to your commander proBoth commander pro and fan hub are SATA-powered.Connect the commander Pro via a USB 2.0 header to the motherboard. You can now control your fan speed and lighting with the provided Corsair software. Product list: - Corsair LL120 Fans 3x Pack + included Fan Hub (100$) - Corsair Commander Pro (70$) - Corsair LED strips extention kit (30$) NZXT NZXT Aer fans have two cables/headers: One is a 4-pin connector for power which goes in the motherboard, the other an RGB header which goes in the HUE+. The NZXT fans can be daisy chained with fan-to-fan-connectors using the IN and OUT headers. Then the last fan connects to the HUE+ with a fan-to-LED-connector into one of the 2 channels that can host up to 5 fans. In this illustration, the 2nd channel connects to the NZXT LED Strips. The HUE+ is molex-powered and connects via USB 2.0 to the motherboard. If you don't want to or cannot plug your fans to the motherboard, there is an option to plug the fans into the GRID V3: it's a fan controller sold by NZXT (up to 6x fans). Finally, you can control your fan speed & lighting and led-strips with the provided NZXT Software. You'll notice both USB2.0 Headers on the Mobo are taken, that's why NZXT sells an internal USB-HUB to provide further USB2.0 headers. Product list: - NZXT Aer 120mm RGB 3x Pack (70$) - NZXT Hue+ (60$) - NZXT Grid V3 (45$) - NZXT LED strips extension kit (25$) - NZXT USB Hub (25$) COOLERMASTER Coolermaster RGB fans have 2 headers: One 4pin power connector that goes into the motherboard and one that goes into the Coolermaster RGB controller Each coolermaster fan connects via an RGB cable into the Coolermaser RGB controller. You can connect up to 4x fans in the controller, however you can increase this number by using a Splitter like shown below. Splitters like in the illustration are to be bought seperately, however Coolermaster provides 4x RGB cables with the controller. You can plug the Coolermaster RGB strip into the Coolermaster RGB controller with a provided RGB cable. The RGB controller is SATA-powered. Unfortunately, Coolermaster does not provide any sort of Fan Hub for fan control, you will have to use your Motherboard Sys_Fan headers or 3rd Party fan hubs like the thermaltake Commander FP for PWM (15$) which can accommodate up to 10x Fans. Another option would be using the NZXT Grid+ V3 so you can monitor the fans rpms trough the Cam Software. The Coolermaster RGB controller connects to the motherboad via USB 2.0. Finally, you can control your lighting with the downloadable Coolermaster Software. Product list: - 3x Masterfan Airbalance RGB + included RGB controller (60$) - Coolermaster RGB strip (25$) - Coolermaster RGB cable splitter (15$) - Thermaltake Commander FP for PWM (Fan Hub) (15$) - NZXT Grid+ V3 (Fan Hub) ($49) THERMALTAKE Thermaltake RGB fans have 1 Header that goes into the TT Sync for RGB control. Each Thermaltake fan connects via an RGB header into the TT Sync. You can connect up to 9x fans in the controller. You can plug the thermaltake lumi rgb strips into the TT Sync with a provided RGB cable, you then do not need the included little RGB controller anymore. The TT sync is SATA powered and hosts up to 9x fans The TT Sync connects to the motherboard via USB2.0 header. Finally, you can control your fan speed & lighting with the Thermaltake Software Product list: - Thermaltake RGB Riing PLUS 120 3x Pack (80$) - TT Sync (30$) - Thermaltake Lumi Plus LED strip (45$) ENERMAX The Enermax TB RGB Fans have 1 cable/header: they each go in the included Fan & RGB controller (up to 8x fans). This is by far the most practical solution cable management-wise and the cheapest. The controller connects to the motherboard via RGB header. WARNING, this will only work with motherboards with RGB Headers. In my experience, only the most recent Motherboards are equipped with those. If you don't have RGB Header on your motherboard, you can use the Infrared Scanner Cable in order to remote-control your fans with the included remote-control. You can connect up to 2x RGB strips to the controller via RGB Header. Adapters are included for universal compatibility. The LED-Strips in the illustration is a Phanteks RGB Strip. The controller is Molex-powered. Finally, you can control your Fan lighting with your motherboard software and their speed with the remote control. If you don't have your Fan Controller connected to the motherboard, you can control the lighting with the remote control. Product list: - ENERMAX TB RGB Fan 120mm 3 in 1 + included Fan Controller & Remote control (60$) - Phanteks LED strip (15$) DEEPCOOL MF120 The Deepcool mf120 fans have 1 micro-usb cable/header that goes directly into the hub The Hub has 4-Pin PWM header going into a Sys_Fan so you can control the RPMs with your motherboard. The Hub connects to your modem per WiFi and requires you to download the Deepcool Fan & RGB control phone APP on iOS or Android. You can also set the fans RPM on the Deepcool phone APP. The Hub is SATA-powered Product list: - DEEPCOOL MF120 3in1, Smart Fans (110$) DEEPCOOL RF120 The Deepcool RF120 fans have 2 Headers: 1x 4-pin PWM that goes into the included Fan Hub & 1x RGB header that goes in the RGB splitter. The included Fan Hub can host up to 4 fans and the splitter up to 3 or 5 fans (technically 5 if you plug a 2nd included splitter into the "main" splitter). There are 2 kind of splitters: One with a mini-controller and one without. If you have an Asus motherboard with an RGB header, then you should use the splitter without the mini-controller that connects to the fans on one side and connects to the motherboard on the other side. However, if you do not posess an Asus motherboard or if your Asus motherboard does not have an RGB header, then you need to use the RGB splitter with the mini-controller that connects to the fans on one side and connects to the PSU via SATA on the other side. Finally, you can control the Fan speed via your motherboard software or BIOS trough a single Sys_Fan header since you're using the Fan Hub. And you can control the RGB lighting with either Asus Aura or the mini-controller. 11. So I've been on the hunt for a quality AIO for about a week now, looking on Amazon and Memory Express and one brand that I'm seeing quite often on Amazon in particular is DEEPCOOL. I see their products through sponsored placements on the website so at first glance I kind of ignored them but after looking into them a bit more, they do seem decent. They all average 4-ish stars on Amazon and a lot of their AIOs are really competitively priced when compared to the big brands (Corsair, NZXT, etc.) I was just wondering if anyone here has had any experience with DEEPCOOL's AIOs and could give me some insight into performance, noise, reliability, customer support, really anything you had experience with. From reviews it seems that they perform well, but reliability is the biggest question in my head when I come across smallER brands than what I'm used to. Thanks in advance
  12. Hi guys I'm planning to buy the Deepcool RF120 3 in 1 Kit and the Deepcool Gammaxx L240 V2 AIO. Now here's the problem, I don't know much about AIO and when I was looking at a video in YouTube I saw that the AIO has lots of connectors like legit lots and I am worried if I can properly connect my RF120 3 in 1 Kit and the AIO to my Gigabyte B450 ITX Aorus Pro Wifi Motherboard. It only has 2 fan headers 1 RGB header and 1 ARGB connector (I don't know if it does have those but in the website it says it has 1 x digital LED strip header 1 x CPU cooler LED strip/RGB LED strip header) I was planning on connecting the 2 fans from the AIO to the RF120 3 in 1 Kit fan header because I think it can connect up to 4 fans though I'm not sure if all 4 are for fans but then there's the header for the lighting, the mobo only has 1 header for 4 pins I think unless I can connect the 4 pins connector to the 3 pins header.
  13. So I have a Intel i7 8700K at 5GHz with the Deepcool Castle V2 360mm AIO. The voltage from what I can tell by HWMonitor and CPUZ is around 1.35V. I am using 3x Noctua NF-P12 instead of the default fans.
  14. So i just gave up with AIO cooling since apparently its lifespan and performance isnt that much better than an air cooler. so currently im looking at the following coolers in which all of them fall below $60 1. ID Cooling SE 207 2. Deepcool Lucifer V2 The two above kinda scares me since it might be too big and obstruct the ram(G skill ripjaws V) thopugh the ID Cooling SE 207 looks like it can fit since one side of the towers is ofsetted a bit. 3. Deepcool Gammaxx Gt TUF This was my second choice right after gammaxx 400 and hyper 212 any other cooler below $60 that can be suggested? I have limmited options due to my country not selling them and importing is too expensive(like assassin III literally costs like $150)
  15. I plan to buy Ryzen 5 3600 and planned to either let it go in PBO or just stock. i plan to get an AIO but im torn on which one to get since at most, i only want to spend $60 at most. in my country, CoolerMaster Master Liquid Lite 240 , ID Cooling Frost Flow x240 and Deepcool Maelstrom 240, and Deepcool Gammaxx L240T all costs $60. im wondering if any of these are good for Ryzen 5 3600. Also, if none of these are good, any air cooler any one can recommend? cant go too big as my case can only handle 120mm fans at most.
  16. Does anyone have experiences with the Deepcool Matrexx 70? Are the includet ARGB Fans Quiet and can you mount a 360 mm Radiator in it, because I had some bad experiences with the Corsair ALPHA , where they say that you can mount a 360mm Radiator in it , but WRONG you can't! Thanks for your answeres ! ?
  17. My corsair h80i recently failed on me so im looking to buy a cheap $50 CAD air cooler, i found the deepcool neptwin v2 white edition. is it any good. are there any other coolers better than that below 50 CAD btw i have an i5 4690k. i had it overclocked to 4.6ghz using the corsair h80i. so i want simmilar performance if not better
  18. Just want to know if the DEEPCOOL DA600 80 PLUS BRONZE 600W PSU is a overall good PSU. 600watts is enough for my build but I just wanna know i the PSU is good or not. Thanks!
  19. Hi guys! As far as I know, PWM and RGB "cables" are the same. I want to spice up my build with a bit of RGB action, and because I do not want to overload anything and for upgradeability I want to get a hub for PWM and my RGB headers. I currently use DEEPCOOL fans (normal, not argb) and I do not need a controller, just a hub. Now I was wondering if there is a difference between a PWM and RGB (12V) hub. And if you had a recommendation? Thanks in advance ^^
  20. So i am about to buy an deepcool castle 360 and want to know what fans it uses. Its this one here: http://www.gamerstorm.com/product/CPULIQUIDCOOLER/2018-10/1286_9932.shtml I think they are cf120's But im not sure.
  21. I have ryzen 5 2600 with asrock b450m HDV, i have few options 1. Gammaxx GTE or 400 2. Hyper 212 or wait for next month to buy maelstrom 240T/RGB Which would be the best, thanks maybe another recommendation
  22. Hi LTT Community, I just recently upgraded my amd stealth cooler to a DeepCool 240 Castle RGB I tried to connect my RGB connector to MOBO but sadly it wont fit.someone reccomended me the RGB controller from deepcool and I tried to order it from Amazon but theres another problem amazon does not ship it to My country (Philippines). And there are no possible way to get the deepcool rgb controller here in my country tried new egg but nothing come up. so my question where should I buy it?Is there any onther way to connect it to the 4 pin connector? Is there another RGB controller that I haven't heard Before? Spec: Ryzen 5 2600 16 2x8Gb Xcalibur DDR4 ASUS ROG STRIX B-450 F Gaming DeepCool Castle 240 RGB AIO thanks LTT~
  23. Hello Again fellow LTT Community, I've just bought recently a DeepCool Castle RGB for my Ryzen build Which is a Ryzen 5 2600 - Asus ROG STRIX Gaming F B-450 - 16GB DDR4 Tforce Xcalubur - Asus GTX 1060.The cooler works fine and all but none of RGB header that the box gave me doesn't fit the RGB header on the motherboard. So my question is there anyway to connect my RGB header to the motherboard or I am just stuck with the preset of the cooler gave me? Thanks in advance LTT Community
  24. I'm planning on doing this in order to improve my temps. My AIO has some of its liquid evaporated. Like, I can shake the radiator and hear water sloshing around. I can also see air bubbles in the acrylic tubing on the pump.
  25. I just found this listing of a DeepCool case, with a box. Selling for $32. Is it worth its price or the performance is terrible in order for the price to be low. If its good, well sh*t Imma get one of these.
