I tried to turn on Alan Wake 2 but it tried to eat more vram (checked in the event viewer) than I have and because of that I recieved this message. I tried to run it the second time and after this one half of my screen went black. I restarted my pe and it seems to be working normally. I even played the above mentioned AW2 for 2+ hours, cyberpunk for 1hr and CS2 for some time and there was no glitches or anything. My question is: is this normal for such a glitch to happen when exceeding gpus vram or is it an early sign of it going bad? I have 4060ti with 8gb memory. Newest drivers, no oc, everything is set to efault. Btw. The start menu showed up on the black side of the screen.

Haven't paid attention to the GPU market much, wasn't planning on replacing it but I guess mining wasn't kind to her I know some of the new Radeon stuff is good, but I also know the used market has been decent after the crash. Looking to play 1080 ultra and be able to upgrade to 1440p 144hz+ in the next few years, Currently using an evga 650w G3 PSU, with x2 8 pin (6+2) Pcie connectors, both have pigtails but I know that isn't the smartest to use. Just sad I lost her The most demanding game would be Halo Infinite, but I have been messing with stable diffusion so video memory is very good to have. I am interested in some of the newer, highly graphical games as well, but hadn't bothered buying them cause my 3400g was going to be replaced. But that has now been back burnered VR was also a thought but again, halted. 500 USD max prefered

I think my gpu is dead, my gigabyte rx 570 4gb has been making a farting like noise and crashes into blue screen of death when i boot it up. is there any way to fix it? please help.

Yesterday, while I was browsing on my computer, suddenly the cpu or gpu fans, i couldn't tell, ramped up to full speed. Shortly afterwards I lost picture and my screen went black, I pressed the resetbutton which shut it down, but It did not turn back on afterwards. I figured out if I remove my graphics card, then everything works fine. Is my gpu dead, and is there anything I can do to fix this? I know that putting the card in an oven to re-solder it, but what should I try first? Specs are as follow: i7-4770 32gb 1600mhz gtx 1070 thermaltake smart 500w

Hey! I've bought a dead 1050, and I think I've found the problem. I think a component fell/broke off, (see the second image) and that's the reason it only gives a black screen. Is it true that there's a component missing? If so, where can I get a new one to solder on? The card is: Gigabyte 1050 Ti LP OC 4GB GDDR5 Kind regards, Emmanuel

So I have this old gigabyte FX 6200 which was the top of gaming cards at the time, and recently u tried it again and it said out of range which was weird so I teste it on 2 TVs and in a big monitor and all of them said out of reach i am very good at hardware and I already fixes allot of GPUs but i've never had this problem. I checked all voltages and all of them are there, the fan spins and I am trying this in an old motherboard (8K5A2) with an AMD Athlon XP 2400+ and with 1.5gb of memory all of them work because i have already tried them.

The fans on the GPU, and the CPU cooler spin, but it never follows through, and the computer never boots. When the graphics card is not installed, the computer runs just fine. The integrated graphics work perfectly, and the computer is completely functional. When this issue began This issue began in July, while I was watching an episode of house of cards. My computer was under no stress during its initial failure. Recurring issue Yes Date of purchase I Built my computer back in March of 2016, as a reward for getting a new job. It has worked perfectly until two months ago. Under Warranty Yes Cause/Steps to recreate the issue The steps to recreate the issue are pretty simple, just insert the graphics card and it fails to boot. What I've tried so far to resolve the issue This is where things get tricky. When my PC first stopped working, I immediately assumed it was the Graphics card, as it crashed during a video. I got the GPU RMA'd and put it into my system, and initially it worked, for about two hours, but it crashed again only to have the exact same issue. No Boot. So, I immediately assumed the PCIe port was bad, and I ordered a new motherboard. I replaced the motherboard and attempted to boot up my PC, but again, it failed to boot. So after the motherboard replacement didn't work, I decided to try to wipe all the drivers on the system, and try again. And that fixed it! I decided to run stress tests on the GPU, and it passed all of them. I was about to start gaming, but I decided to eat first. Came back, and the computer was off, and it wouldn't boot again. And this is where I am now.

Hello There guys and girls! well, It's not more three months that I got myself a new Galax RTX 2070 Super Gaming Black. It had been working Just fine until couple of days ago.All of a sudden my computer restarted and booted back up again, but with a problem my set resolution was gone and when I looked in the "Device Manager " Section I figured out this Error : The windows has stopped this device because it has reported a problem (code 43). I tried to reinstall my drivers, Tried Updating, Downgrading, Updating the windows and ... It didn't work. Still the same exact problem.Last night I took my card to my friends house and tried my gpu in his rig, Guess what, as soon as the windows comes up, the same problem. It didn't even ask for any drivers. It knew the exact model of my card (RTX 2070 Super). But the same error was there.(Code 43). I don't know what happened and I don't know what to do. Here are some information about the rest of my computer : MSI B85-G43 LGA 1150 Motherboard Intel Core i5 4460 Corsair VS 550 PSU Corsair XMS DDR3 8+4 gb (two Sticks) and I'm using the latest version of windows 10 64 bit. Can anyone tell me what is going on here???? I know my cpu is a bottleneck to that card, but it normally shouldn't hurt the GPU, right?

Hello guys, My custom build is a Ryzen 3 2200g MSI B450M Pro-m2 Gigabyte 1050ti GV-N105TD5-4GD Crucial Ballistix 2x4gb 2666 mhz Patriot Burst 120 GB WD Blue 1TB HDD Silverstone ET450-B 450W PSU Yesterday I went and started playing PUBG and in the middle of the match, I lost display. I restarted my PC and still nothing. Went and did the usual steps for repairing such as clearing CMOS, checking RAM one by one but still nothing. My iGPU works fine meaning that my cable also does. I managed to install DDU and deleted drivers and reinstalled latest ones. It worked for a day then today, it lost display again. In addition, I've been getting frequent power outages and I don't know if this might be partially the cause. Please help me. This is my first build and I don't want it to die without even being one year old.

Hello, couple of weeks ago i started having problems with my computer. It would start to stutter and after about 10-20seconds either BSOD (VIDEO_SCHEDULER_INTERNAL_ERROR) would show up, or just black screen or random artefacts on screen. After hard reset everything would be okay. This happened just from watching youtube etc, not even gaming. Couple days ago I tried to play some Apex, but my pc would crash in the lobby or shortly after. I included some pics of what the artefacts look like. Other thing was that the fans wouldnt turn on, but even if i turn them on manually same thing happens. Also tried to open the gpu and looked for any damage, none found, repasted but without success. Also if someone can read something out of the cpu, gpu usage, because it looks pretty weird to me I tried to: change hdmi cable repaste look for any damage different hdmi port turn fans on manually different pci-e slot Is it worth to try: ??? buy display-port cable oven bake underclock it a lot I don't have any warranty and it looks like Asus doesn't have any service for gpu's in eu Thanks guys for ANY help!
