Does Phantom Liberty add cool additions to the main game?
whitedragon101 posted a topic in PC Gaming
I just got a new graphics card and I want to try cyberpunk 2077 for the first time. I was thinking of just getting the base game and just seeing how I like it. But I’m not sure if buying it together with the new Phantom Liberty DLC would add lots of cool toys to the main game. if anyone knows that would be great -
RIVA shows me a constant 60fps without any drops, a flatline frametime timeline, normal GPU and CPU temps and usage, but still, it doesn't look like fluid 60fps gameplay. My friend games look way better on his PC and he uses an RTX 2060 My PC specs are: CPU: Intel 12700k, 4800 mhz GPU: 4070 TI RTX 12 GB VRAM TUF GAMING ASUS RAM: 2x 16 GB DDR5 5200 MHz Kingston Fury Beast Motherboard: ASUS Prime Z690-A STORAGE: NVME 2TB Patriot PSU: 850W GEN 5 PCI-E ATX 3.0 GOLD GIGABYTE i tried: -Enable the rezisable bar from BIOS and check in the Nvidia Control Panel. Disabling Vsync and limiting to 60 FPS with RIVA TUNNER -Update Bios -Update Nvidia software and Windows 11. -Reinstalling Windows 11 -Installing Windows 10 -Disabling Windows Game Mode -testing changing the GPU to a 2080 Super and a Radeon 6700 XT -testing changing the motherboard and CPU to an Intel 9700k and 16 DDR4 -Changing NVME Everything and my games stay the same. Could it be my house electric current? Please, I invest so much in this PC, and while the games work, I want the best possible experience. I beg you Here are some video examples of 3 games, God of war, Cyberpunk 2077 and Ratchet and Clank Rifft Apart. Check other video Gameplay of the same games on youtube and they look way more smooth

So here's what happened. I have a Cyberpunk playthrough at 70 hours and maxed level finally, and I add an ssd and moved the game to the ssd to enjoy faster load times. I played a few times and the save was there. Then I started two new playthroughs, Corpo and Streetkid coz I played nomad first to try a mostly Cold blood build and a Netrunner build, I only started Act 1 when I wanted to go back to my main playthrough when surprise surprise, my saves are gone. The latest save is when I was level 33, the rest are just gone. I don't even feel like playing anymore after seeing that, knowing that my progress could just be gone and I'm wasting my time. Is there a way to find my missing save or is it just hidden somewhere?

CDPR released a big 60GB patch for Cyberpunk https://www.cyberpunk.net/en/news/41435/patch-1-5-next-generation-update-list-of-changes Amongs other changes, mods have been rebalanced, it gives me an excuse to revisit the game. Do you plan to try the game again, or are you going to wait for a story DLC or New Game+?

Well I been waiting for a RTX 3070 to go with my Ryzen5 3600 to play Cyberpunk 2077. But, you know the rest... Anyway since Steam Summer sale is going on, I am wondering if Cyberpunk 2077 with Patch 1.23 can run with 1080P Medium or High setting on a GTX 970 + Ryzen R5 3600. My monitor can only do 60fps but I want something higher than 30-40 with little to no stutter. If you have a GTX 1060 comment about what you get too! I believed 970 is close to 1060 in performance.

Hey all, I've got my hands on Cyberpunk so it's time to get most of my badly built PC rig: https://valid.x86.fr/abr7xs - whole build from CPU-Z after bench RAM is GOODRAM IRDM 3000mhz 16cl 4sticks x8GB. I feel like there's something wrong with RAM freq. as it only gets 2666mhz temps are steady and dont see problem there so maybe i could OC a bit? So far CP 2077 goes on medium at 30-35fps. i could get 3080 or 3070 but not sure if it's worth for this rig.

My laptop is ASUS GA502, which Linus once recommended in his video. I've run into the same situations in many games launched in recent years: low usage of gpu. And that's probably my ram fequency is stock at 2400 and the chipset dose not allow it higher. BUT, today in cyberpunk 2077, my gpu actually stayed at 99% of usage, while cpu at 30 -40% (in pubg, the opposite). In-game-fps is around 30-40 with 1080p all graphics settings high or ultra, with cpu 40% and gpu 98%. And the intresting stuff comes here: When I'm setting the graphics lower and change the resolution at 900p or 720p, the fps stays 30-40 with cpu 40% and gpu 60/70%. Seems my gpu doesn't want to work, and my cpu too. Anyway I'm not trying to fix this, I'm just posting it here. To all the suckers(including me) who bought a 3750h spec machine and even thought it was for gaming. Sorry for no screenshot here, cause I'm now refunding it.

Hi fellow nerds and geeks, I have a Ryzen 7 2700x, Asus Prime X470 Pro, 16GB RAM DDR4-3200, EVGA 2070 SUPER, with Windows 10 on a NVME M.2 SSD. Monitor AOC 27" 1080P 144hz I installed the game on the NVME drive as well. When I run it, regardless of the graphics config, I am always getting between 48-60 FPS. I have every setting turned down to Low and DLSS set to performance, but the FPS does not improve. I downloaded the newest driver update from NVIDIA yesterday, but that didn't seem to have any impact on performance. I will try a DDU reinstall of the new drivers tonight, but I wanted to get some input from the masses. Any and all help is appreciated! :)

I am planning to have a pc setup for playing cyberpunk 2077 (low-medium or medium-high) settings, 45-60 fps. I have the cabinet and PSU (550W), 60 hz monitor with a good keyboard and mouse. Storage - 1 TB HDD currently. I don't plan to overclock and use extra coolers. I won't be upgrading this pc for another 3 years, I may change my GPU though (within these 3 years). My location - India. I want the guidance for setting i5-10400f or Ryzen 5 3600. I would like suggestions for both. (Is 3400G better than i5 10400f? Both are around the same price here. But planning for 3600) My budget is around 50000-53000 rupees. I don't use video editing or any other programming. I am thinking of GPUs like 1650 super or 1660 super (this is the max. I can go now.) Mobo within 8000 rupees. I don't know what RAM stick to use, 3000 or 3200 MHz (16 GB - 2x8GB) I'm also planning on buying 240GB SSD only for C-drive. I would like your opinions for AMD 3600 or i5-10400f setups - both.

After the recent drivers update my fps is ridiculously bad, I'm currently getting 38-40fps on average everywhere I go on the lowest settings possible. Turning anything up barely makes a difference and I can't reach above the 40s. Yesterday I had about 110fps on average.

I trying to play Cyberpunk 2077 but FPS is horribly low. i have only 20-30 FPS on High preset which is recommended for graphic card. on Low and Medium I have 30-40 FPS. I've got steam version on SSD. When the game is running, gpu is 99% load and clock is about 1885MHz (Temp. 50-60). The interesting part is that my friends are playing with same hardware (maybe a bit lower) and GOG version and they have about 60 FPS at High Preset. Do you have any idea !? Hi, we all have different hardware in our machines, but what is the expected performance out of our setups at what settings? I have a 1440p monitor and a RTX2080 paired with a 9700k, as read on some website I should be able to run the game on high at 50-60 ish fps at 1440p, which is playable. But there is no sustenance behind that number. What is the 97th percentile? Share your specs, settings and average fps. Because I feel my game is running worse than expected. Also if you have any tips on a setting that chugs perfomance, please, be kind and share.

I have a big problem, I have a RTX 3070 my CPU is a Ryzen 7 2700x. I run the game on a 1440p monitor. I have always between 55-65Fps doesn't matter wich settings i choose. If i use Ultra or lowest nothing changes... The strange thing is that on Assassin's creed valhalla all works perfect gpu usage is at 97% like it shoud be and cpu around 40%. In Cyberpunk i have a CPU usage of like 55% and my GPU usage always stands at 40%-50%. I tried everything DDU installer, new Windows setup nothing helped. It cant be a CPU bottleneck.... Anyone may have a solution? I just wanna cry cause nothing helps... I added videos where u can see what I describe... So I will start this off with the point i am a fan of cyberpunk. . . . the original concept. I will ask for those that comment on this to first look a bit at the work of William Gibson's original cyberpunk novel series or the movies made from this content. I will say I have not personally played nor do I wish to give money to this game for the reason I will state, however I have friends who I have sat in there stream and watched and commented in while they have played Cyberpunk 2077 for many hours. In my opinion Cyberpunk 2077 should not of used the word "cyberpunk" in their title. In my opinion this is the reason behind the poor public score the game has received along with the poor run it has had on normal gaming machine with less then over fair over reason parts. So cyberpunk is about the AI and real-world tech and VR, AR, and 3d printing and how this tech could change the world. Cyberpunk 2077 is about moving back and forth over the gray line into legal behavior into basically outright gangster cyber-crime. Cyberpunk does include an AI ghost that seems to help and advise you, however this has been cut-down to more of a object used to link the story together. In the original the AI ranged from a fore most character drive the main protagonist forward on a direct mission with a direct goal to a guiding force in the background reaching out for help towards their goal. The game Cyberpunk 2077 is from the getgo a fight between multiple criminal organisation for power and dominance and your character getting stuck in middle of THEIR story with the potential of this johnny being one more thing they are fighting over. If this sounds familiar then you might of played another series, which is one of the very few games I despise, GTA (Grand Theft Auto). Both game you play basically a criminal of some sort for hire or lets you go out and virtually commit whatever crimes you want of that games world type. Of course if the game was called CyberCrime 2077 it might not of made it as big on launch or ever been allowed in some countries. So the original BladeRunner series that founded cyberpunk did have the main characters committing crimes or toeing the gray legal line. Yet this was all done with the intent purpose to help some greater good or for need of survival. the cyberpunk aspect came in with the fact that this was a world where cyber tech, AI, and the real world was on a collision course. Cyberpunk to me is about both including incoming tech of this type while keeping your other foot on the brake to keep it from getting to out of control to fast. When I heard about the title and world concept for this game I went "wow this is really great, something from what William Gibson started is going make a game big time." then is saw the trailer on the release announcement and went "okay well you have a choice of what you do right it can still be cyberpunk." Finally the game was released and i saw full game play and watched and tried for many hours to find some sense to what and how they BUTCHERED a concept I am a dear fan of. This game is NOT 'cyberpunk' it is just a cheap theft of a concept to sell a game the is an updated futuristic version of GTA, which has been hit with more and more deserved criticism of its own in a attempt to escape from the bad PR that GTA like games has received and the PR that other cyber-crime games have also received. I will say that graphically, if seen on a computer with powerful enough hardware. the game is a great work of art. It does try to do a futuristic cyber tech style and it could be seen as a world of barely controlled cybertech crime and management. If they would of called it something more like CyberTech 2077 or HackerTech 2077 then i would of had less of an issue with them, but still do not condone the behaviors present in the game nor willing to give money to a game that takes lightly the undertaking of this. Cybercrime, gang pressure, and other activities that are fully illegal in nature should never be taken lightly by any content creator nor made into something people see as something to be enjoyed. Both in practice and virtually activities such as these do have a direct impact on our society and can lead people down a bad path which they may not of chosen otherwise. Anyone may send any commit about what I post in this article, but please understand this my opinion of something I feel this game has violated as a someone who has read much of the original William Gibson works and seen movies and shows that did follow this concept well. I am drawing my comparison from these works and holding the game as something that just pissed on my whole science fiction novel collection torn off a cover and pasted that title on a 'hello my name is" sticky tag.

Man, I just can't get over how woefully underdeveloped CP 2077 is. The lack of attention to detail is appalling when compared to games like GTA 5. Next time one of those CDPR fan bots wants to claim they are on Rockstar's level, show them these videos. They don't even hold a candle to Rockstar Games.

Hi! My friend and I recently purchased cyberpunk 2077. He was able to complete the main story/quest and was able to keep playing the game afterwards. (Like nothing happened) This is my first RPG, as I’ve never really been into video games. So I’m just wondering if I can continue to game after I complete the main quest? Thanks!

Specs - Dell - 1080p 60Hz monitor, Z-97 Gaming 5 Mobo, GTX 960 2GB, i5 -4440 CPU - 8GB RAM DDR3 (almost 6 yrs old now), CM 690 III cabinet, 1 TB SSD Will i5-4670k CPU be to handle GTX1650 or GTX 1650 Super? Should I upgrade my cpu to i7-4790k for using GTX 1650 or is i5-4670k enough? Otherwise, if I wanna jump to AMD CPU and mobo, which ones; should I go for? I wanna go for the same mobo with i5-4670k, otherwise...I'm planning for AMD since i7-4790k seems costlier. But i7-4790k is also not ruled out. For GTX 1650 and GTX 1650 super, which CPU will be good? The bottleneck calculators....I never rely on them. Will i5-4670k be good or new AMD mobo+cpu are better? AMD mobo and CPU price are almost = i5 4670k price, if I choose - say Ryzen 5 3400G, should I go for 1650 or 1650 super GPU? If i5-4670k is good enough for medium to high-ish settings with 60+FPS, I would settle for that (if GTX 1650 provides good FPS without any stutters.) I wanna get some other things like gaming mouse, so...I wanna invest wisely. Summary : for i5 4670k, which GPU will be good? Or if I opt for Ryzen 5 3400G, which GPU will be good? I'm looking for 1600 series, 1660 super is a bit expensive in my place. Should I go for 1650 super or only "gtx 1660".

(I play the game on a 1440p Monitor) I get about 100 avg FPS at Ultra preset in the built-in Benchmark, with minimum FPS being 53. At Corpo plaza (one of the busiest areas in the game) I get 55 FPs max with drops well under 40 FPS no matter the GRaphics settings. I believe there is a CPU bottleneck, but I think the 3900X should at least manage 60 FPS. Am I overestimating my CPU? My specs are: 1440p screen AMD Ryzen 9 3900X RTX 3070 16GB RAM at 2400Mhz (2 Sticks) MSI B350 PC Mate 750W EVGA PSU The game is installed on an HDD Temps for my CPU and GPU are both under 65C° for the most part, so thermals shouldn't be an issue I think.

Hello. I've been playing Cyberpunk 2077 recently on my new system and I'm beginning to notice some flickering pixels or artifacts. I'm playing on max settings without Ray Tracing on a 6900XT in Linux using the open-source driver that comes through the repository, specifically "firmware-amd-graphics". The pixels themselves don't stay on one place, on another part of the map they follow the camera and then they go away when I move about 10 meters away. The game runs fine, well above 120 fps. I'm just wondering if this is something I should be worrying about whether it's a sign of a failing GPU already (which doesn't seem likely), or if this is just on the game side and it's fine. I've attached a picture (ignore the Cyberpunk-y material on the wall lol) Thanks.
