the kraken elite 280 Is on sale for $200 when it's usually $250 on multiplr websites like amazon, newegg etc. do you think this is the lowest a kraken elite will get for a while? should I buy now or wait for a 360mm to go on sale. I know there are similar options for cheaper but I love the screen.

Looking for a silent mechanical keyboard, that I can use in an office setting. Not looking for something overly gamey looking. Would really like a retro look if possible. Max budget $150, looking for black friday/cyber monday deals especially. Thanks!

As the title suggest, what could I expect in terms of sales for cyber monday and black friday this year (And in general) I am still getting familiar with the major sale events and such in Canada, so I don't have back history of relative experience to think back at, to strategize my spending. I am looking to get back into having a desktop again, will flip my gaming laptop and get a relatively cheap business laptop off the marketplace, to be my workhorse for school. Along with the savings from that and some other savings, put them into an ITX build I always wanted to do, but never had a reason to No GPU, will grab a random one off the marketplace for the time being, eventually get something decent for VR, when that's a bit more mature. Basically what I am planning to eye, minus go for the newer 3rd gen ryzen 5 instead, that's completely out of stock everywhere, and can't see myself seeing that one sale, with it selling like hot cakes, if the price is right, I'll just get the older one and TBH it's plenty for my use case, and VR.

So I'm about to start my second build. I have a case, psu, and motherboard. I'm just waiting to purchase the cpu, memory, etc. I saw some good deals on Newegg for the parts I needed. Then I thought Thanksgiving is just around the corner. I don't want to buy something now only to have the price drop in three weeks. Does anyone have an opinion on the Black Friday/Cyber Monday sales for computer parts? Is it worth the wait or are the discounts no better than any other deal Newegg or Amazon might have going? Let me know I'd really appreciate the input.

Ok so I edited my initial build and after Cyber Monday sales I imagine I can get this to cost ~$600. Any thoughts/advice? (I already have a Corsair 100R case, a 1TB hard drive, and a DVD Drive) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/3csrYr

If anyone is interested in this list I tend to put one together each year for deals around the Holidays. I usually share it with friends and family but also post it on here if it's helpful for anyone. I do try to keep it as updated as possible but I am merely human and am just as busy as anyone else during the Holidays. If you have any suggestions or corrections please feel free to make a comment and I'll try to make edits to keep it fresh. It is shared to the public so feel free to share it with anyone else. Enjoy! https://docs.google.com/document/d/1JDqNGj--0XONnHhSlFamVV50JrwlpTf8_UnGDdt5_E4/edit?usp=sharing

Hey everyone! Just wondering what you guys will be getting on Black Friday/Cyber Monday! I'd like to have a post of shared ideas and thoughts. On the side maybe gift ideas too! I'm already getting a pair of headphones but that's before black Friday. On black Friday I'm thinking of getting some more RAM modules... Some more clothes and a long Ethernet cable. I'm also looking to get an amp.

I've been planning on building a system and have created a list of parts that I'll buy, I've been waiting until Black Friday/Cyber Monday to buy these, but have found a deal that may not be beat. This is my parts list so far, the main piece I'm thinking about changing is the GPU. The GPU on the list is a 6GB GTX 1060 for $338, but I've found a RX480 8GB on newegg that when I include shipping costs $350, should I buy this now or should I wait until black friday/cyber monday and hope that I can find a better deal?

Hi all, I've been trying to save up to build myself a new rig for a few years now, but I've always had some unexpected stuff to spend money on like my car breaking down and such. Also, I only got more familiar with PC gaming hardware since I discovered the Linus Media Group Youtube channels around December last year. So now I'm gearing up to buy all the parts I need for my upgrade at the end of November (Black Friday is the 29th). I was wondering though, Black Friday has really started to become a thing here in Belgium (although still not nearly as huge as in America), but I don't know if Cyber Monday is also gaining popularity. So I was wondering if there are any people here from Belgium / The Netherlands / Germany who can offer some advice if I should buy on Black Friday, or wait for Cyber Monday instead. I don't want to risk waiting and missing out on better deals because Cyber Monday hasn't kicked off yet over here. I will buy most of my stuff on amazon.de (there is no Amazon in Belgium) but I'll keep an eye on other sites as well to see if there are better deals elsewhere. Currently I have the following parts in mind, feel free to suggest improvements but my budget will be quite strict (I'm open to similar parts if the prices for my choices aren't dropping very much though). My current rig is in desperate need of an upgrade (I'll also be submitting an entry for the ROG Rig Reboot but don't want to put too much hope in that). Any advice will be appreciated!

This is very important to me as my job will most likely be paying for this. The reason I need help is because I'm overwhelmed and the deals vary with models that seem to be the same but slightly differ in specs. I almost definitely want the Dell XPS 15. It's sleek, it's sexy, and I haven't found anything I like better. Try to change my mind. If not, which deal is best this cyber monday? I've looked at Amazon, Best Buy, and Dell.com. They seem to have cyber monday deals, but the specs vary around the $1600 range. What I want: Good CPU for editing, graphics, photoshop, 2D & 3D work Decent GPU for work, rendering, light gaming (GTX 1650 would be plenty) 1080p Display is fine. I have no need for 4k, but I'll take it. M.2 SSD at any size (I can just upgrade it myself if possible) 16GB Ram (8GB would be fine if it's a good deal) Under $1700 USD If it's under $1200 I would happily take one at 1080p, 8GB ram, small ssd, etc. Options: Dell claims to have Cyber Monday deals but I'm unsure if they were already on sale and now they're just labeling them as such Amazon has quite a few options but they seem to mostly consist of the models with 8th gen Intel i7 CPUs. I'm not opposed if the price is right. Best Buy does not appear to have what I want but that could change. Any other places I haven't checked? It's also an option to use Amex points for purchase. Any help would be much appreciated.

https://www.lenovo.com/ca/en/laptops/yoga/700-series/Yoga-730-15/p/81CU000UUS#tab-currentmodels I bought it from Lenovo Canada's website on cyber monday for $917CAD before tax, $1040CAD after tax. I'm not sure if this is a good deal, or if there is a better alternative. I am a student and I need a 2in1 for taking notes. Budget: around 1k, 800-1200CAD It has a pretty budget screen with low brightness and flickers in cameras. The battery life is also apparently low. For college. Taking notes, web browsing, editing pdfs. Gaming will be done on desktop.Max weight 2kgMin Battery life: 6hrs

I'm looking for a good laptop with a sub 1000 Dollar budget, mostly for light video editing but I will have to take it on the go a lot. Would you recommend buying a laptop from ebay which is considered new/manufacturer refurbished? and what laptops would you recommend overall in the price range?

I've really been looking hard at finding a good deal on a laptop / 2 in 1 for Black Friday and I am having difficulty. I want: i7 with 6 cores 12 threads 512+GB SSD 16GB RAM 13 to 15.6 inch screen (smaller is better) 2 in 1 model preference Under $1,000 --------------------- The dilemma is that I want at least an i7-8750h processor which is a 6 core 12 thread model. Majority of laptops with this processor are gaming laptops, therefore the price is in the $1400+ dollar range (on sale). I don't need a gaming laptop with a dedicated GPU - just wanting a 6c/12t processor is putting me in a completely different category. The other option is just settle for the 4 core 8 thread CPU, which the most common and current seems to be the i7-8550u or i7-8650u Which will allow me to get what I want, but I'm really sacrificing the CPU. I want the CPU so it lasts and stays up to speed with future models / generations. I am not looking to do heavy workloads, really mostly just spreadsheets, PDFs, web, etc and entertainment. Should I just settle for the 4c/8t CPU to actually get what I am looking for - a 2 in 1 under $1,000..... OR - should I spend an extra $500 for a gaming laptop that I will not use to its full capabilities.... HAH, yeah - I think that answers itself. Finally - Do you think I should buy online on Black Friday - or will I find a better deal on Cyber Monday? I've never really got involved in the shopping crazes during these times. Thank You for any help!
