Hello, i want to purchase a smart air purifier, i don't have a lot of knowledge about it but i am between the Samsung ax9500 old and new Samsung ax53 or ax35 air purifier, it says that theres a pet filter on the new one, what else is new? I saw a video someone said there's a 3 stage purification on the old one and 5 stage on the new but i am not sure what that is also. I have 15m2 room, i smoke a lot of cigarettes and want to eliminate all odor. The new costs 740 Euro and the old one costs 400 Euro and you can use the old model with 2 units on top of it and it works like 1 unit for 800 Euro. I have 1 cat and if theres no other upgrade than pet filter i think 2 old units are best value ? will the pet filter make huge difference? Thank you

Hey, I love the antec dark cube case but 230€ is way too much for me, so i wanted to ask if someone knows a alternative to this case.

Budget (including currency): SGD $140 (the cheaper the better) Country: Singapore Games, programs or workloads that it will be used for: Nil Other details (existing parts lists, whether any peripherals are needed, what you're upgrading from, when you're going to buy, what resolution and refresh rate you want to play at, etc): Nil Hi LTT community, I need recommendations for a PC case. I am shifting my pc components from my Corsair Carbide 400C. I want to go for a SFF cube-style case to put in on my desk as my current corsair carbide 400c is on the floor. I really really like the Fractal Design Node 804. But sadly it cannot fit a ATX board, and its features seem rather old considering it still has a slit for optical drive and I think the USB is an old slower standard (?). I am considering the Lian Li o11 Air Mini. But the cheapest in Singapore costs about SGD$139. And If i want to buy a vertical GPU mount, I have to buy a separate part which is about another SGD$100. So I am looking for suggestions from the community for similar cube-style cases My criteria for the case is that it should fit an ATX board (my current board being MSI B450 tomahawk). GPU wise, currently I am using a Gigabyte GTX 1070ti. In future I plan to upgrade to RTX 3060TI, which i don't think are necessarily chonky enough to limit my case choices all that much. The case should also let me mount minimally 1 ~2 3.5" HDD and 1 ~ 2 2.5" SSD.

Hi everyone! A couple of days ago i've purchased this sentey case very cheap because it's fan controller doesn't work. I've opened it to see what was happening and i they tried to solder replace pieces in the fan controller pcb (and they've done a really bad job). So i fix that BUT the guy also cut off the cables and now i've got the PCB alone without the cables to the PSU, Fans, etc. So i have the board connected to the potentiometer and i need to know where to solder and connect the rest of the cables

Morning all, Hope you are all keeping well. I have recently started looking at PC builds and was looking at external graphics card enclosures. I came across an external system that used SAS. See links below for Netstor and Cube products https://www.netstor.com.tw/product_info.aspx?SerID=6&Title=TurboBox&ArID=22&PID=PID_170324380784203 https://www.onestopsystems.com/product/cube-expansion-enclosure-1-2-pcie-slots I could not find any information on costs or performance. Could anyone enlighten me, please? Were they a complete dodo? From my limited research the parts are from servers so is it possible to "Frankenstein" an equivalent product if its a lot cheaper? Hope you can help. Kind regards

Hi, so I want to upgrade my current system from my HAF XB Evo to a new case to support water cooling. Please don't discuss whether I need water cooling. Here is what I need: ATX / E-ATX case Horizontally aligned Motherboard (I don't want to stress the PCIe Slots) Isolation to make it silent Space for at least 2x360 thick rads intake/exhaust fans pumps/PSU several (3-4) SSDs a Palit GTX 1080 GameRock Corsair RM1000X PSU So far I found the Thermaltake X5 since the X9 is really big. I did not find any good LianLi or CoolerMaster cases for my needs or fractal design for that matter. Is there any good alternative to the Thermaltake X5 ?

Hi, I've seen a few thread regarding the Corsair Carbide 540 and 740. I love the concept of relatively cubic computer and the case seem very interesting. I currently use a Corsair 500R and I loved the fact there was plenty room in there. I'm a Noctua fanboy and got plenty of those ready to move to a new case, and I'm will likely switch to a closed-loop for the CPU cooling. Noise level is a concern but I'm satisfied with my 500R, I'm expecting the air 540/740 to be more silent since I might be able to turn fan speed down a bit, but it's already pretty silent. My main concern is identifying the real benefit from the 740 over the 540. Right now, price in Canada 140CND for the 540 and 200 for the 740. Room seem fairly similar, build quality too. What would be the key point to pull the trigger on the 740? I watched both review from LTT and I'm not convinced the really 740 bring something on the table for the 60$ difference. Thanks for your assistance.

Help me finding smallest case that can fit ATX MB and nh-d15
DemonL posted a topic in Power Supplies
I need help to find smallest case (preferred cube or desktop) for ATX MB, Noctua nh-d15 and a 3 fan GPU 300mm. This is what i found so far http://www.thermaltake.com/Chassis/Cube_Case_/Core/C_00002806/Core_X5/Design.htm but there is way to much room in front. Thank you. -

So I am looking to purchasing a cube chassis to transplant my rig into. It looks like I may be moving across the country in the near future and as much as I l love my big full tower case I think its time I make the change. I'm currently running: MotherBoard: Asus Z170 Pro Gaming LGA 1151 CPU: Intel Core 15 6600K Hard Drives: Samsung 850 EVO 250 Gb SSD Samsung 850 EVO 500 Gb SSD Western Digital 1TB HDD Cooling: Corsair H100i v2 GPU: Zotac GTX 1070 RAM: Corsair Vengence LPX 16Gb PSU: Corsair RMx 750W Fully Modular Some brands I have used in the past and like are Corsair, Cooler Master, and BeQuiet but I am open to suggestions.

Hey guys, I've been watchting Linus for years and years, I thought to myself that the LTT forum would be the best place to ask for advice. What I'm most concerned about it the watercooling portion of the PC as I am well versed in building PC's, just not with custom loops. If you have anything to add or change when it comes to the system, please comment your suggestions ( Fans, control units, lighting, anythig really ) Goal of this build is my ultimate gaming machine, I want it to last a long time and I want it to be as quiet as possible so any tips in making the PC quiet are very welcome The components so far: Lian Li O9WX Cube ASUS Prime x299-Deluxe Intel Core i9-7900X ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 Ti Founders Edition with EKWB pre installed 8x8GB Trident Z RGB DDR4-3200 Corsair Professional Platinum Series AX1200I 1x Samsung 960 EVO NVMe SSD M.2 500GB 1x ASUS Hyper M.2 X4 PCI-E Adapter Card 2x Samsung 850 EVO SSD 1TB 4x WD Red SATA 6G 3TB Watercooling components so far: EK-Supremacy EVO Nickel CPU Block Aquastream XT USB 12V Pump Ultra Version EK-CoolStream PE 360 Radiator I've not decided if I'm going to use hard tubing or flexible tubing. I also don't have a reservoir picked yet, as I'm unsure of how big it should be and where I should place it in the case. Also I'm unclear about the following points: -How diffirent materials in the WC loop work together (corosion) -How many diffirent fittings I will need -If a single 3x120 rad is enough to cool the PC, as I'm planing to OC the CPU -What fluids or additives I should use in my loop -How and where to mount the pump and the reservoir -How to fill the system and get the air out -The route the tubing will take and how it will change depending on the type of tubing used -How long can the liquid stay in the loop without being changed -Maintenance I need to do when it comes to the WC loop Also sry if my English isn't the best as I'm German. Thanks for taking the time to read and possibly respond to this post.

Hi doing a new build, https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pYV9tg. The only difference is the case is rosewill cullinan px, but its not on pcp. I plan to mainly game and stream. With a budget of about 2500 USD. Games I currently play are skyrim, fallout 4, both modded, fortnite, overwatch, lol, wow, I have star citizen downloaded but.... Yeah...also like strategy games too. Any improvements that wouldn't increase budget to much? I want 1440p 100hz not ultra but high or so. And I'm gonna use my old 60hz 1080p monitor with it. I want a copy of Windows but don't need keyboard or mouse.

So I'm looking for a small as possible but cheap uATX/mATX case. I've found this so far, but that's it. Can be thin or a cube, just needing it to take up the least space possible. Any suggestions?

Hello all!!!! i am looking for a great odular case ergo something like the older model of thermaltakes core v71 case. how ever i have realized 1 they no longer make it and 2 it is HUGE! so i have decided i want something just as modular but i like the cube form factor. any suggestions for decently priced cube case?? in other words no $400 caselabs cases lol.

I'm building a PC for someone and they're really into the mini-itx sized cube cases but any size is welcome. Also, they would prefer to have a 5.25" drive to burn CDs with. Price doesn't really matter too much I'm just looking for ideas. Thanks for all of your suggestions in advance!

UPDATE2: scroll down for newly updated post and the revival of the Elite 110 UPDATE1: I unfortunately got my GPU to throttle due to high load temps in BF4......I really don't know why, but all other games ran failry well, this one is just crap and now I have to find a solution......crap. Hi there dear community. I have posted all my different configurations in more or less depth on this forum and while the last build I made was rather unexciting, I feel like the upcoming one is a little more interesting and might be an inspiration for others trying to go the very small route with an AMD GPU that is not the Nano. ;-) It involves some minor modding, but nothing too crazy and it mostly to prove a point to myself and make my system portable since I am basically the only one left from my old PC Gaming group who still has a PC. That means I take that thing to other people's houses more and more often to game and that means the "big" TJ08e is not practical anymore. Parts I will use: Intel i5 6600k ASUS Z170i Pro Gaming Kingston Hyper X Fury 8GB RX 480 Reference Samsung 850 and 840 EVOs Silverstone SST-ST55F-PT 550W Platinum ATX PSU Silverstone PP05-E Short cable kit Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B Arctic Accelero Mono Plus Cooler Master Elite 110 (duh!) GPU: For the most part this should all work, but the GPU needs some minor modding. My idea for that came from the overclockers.net forum, more specifically the user PCIEgate over there. He/She cut the VRM and VRAM heat-sink to get a fitting VRM heat-sink that can be screwed on and still works with the Arctic cooler. I will do the same thing, just not with the Accelero Twin Turbo II, but with the Mono Plus. This is why I decided that I should go with the Elite 110 for and ITX case. I thought I would not be able to mod my RX480 to an ITX card despite its short length, since most ITX cases only support 2-slot cards, at most 2.5-slot cards. The Elite 110 on the other hand basically can hold a 3-slot card, obviously not a regular triple-slot card, since those are then also very long. Back to what I was getting at: Cutting the heat-sink will make the RX480 only 170mm long and with the Arctic Accelero Mono Plus adds no or only little to the length of the card, making it perfect for the Elite 110. CPU cooler: I have so far never used an actual low-profile cooler and finally ordered the Scythe Big Shuriken 2 Rev. B. The reason for it being that it will most likely let me use my Noctua NF-A15 on it. However I will have to test this since it might interfere with the PCIe slot....not sure yet. Other than this, the build should be pretty straight forward, but I am really looking forward to the challenge of making it look very clean and then tuning it to be quiet and cool enough. Let's see how far I can overclock while keeping noise down. 4Ghz is the magic mark I would like to overclock to, more would be nice though. I have pushed my CPU to 4.5 already, and ran pretty well, however with the small heat-sink it will not be possible I think. Let me know what you think: Have you built a system this small before? What would you like to know? Any last minute suggestions before my stuff arrives Monday? ...pics will be following soon, but I can basically only show you the case right now...

Hi people! I'm building a new computer in a month or so, after my spring semester ends. I've been looking at the Corsair Air 240, since this is going to be an m-ATX build. Are there any other cases that anyone could recommend? the smaller the better of course, but of course airflow is important too. Thanks~

Hi, so I was originally going to get the Fractal Node 304, but now I am having to use an atx motherboard so if anyone knows of anything similar but atx that would be great! Needs to be: Small (I know its going to be at least 12x10" because of the size of atx, but as small as it can be other than that) A few 3.5" hard drive bays ATX I would also really like it to be a sort of cube shape with a horizontal motherboard tray, basically like a scaled up node 304. However I will look at any suggestions! Thanks

Hello All! I am looking to do a case mod and i need a perfectly square mini ITX or micro ATX case. So far im looking at these few, although im not 100% sold on them yet hoping there is a perfect square one i can find. HELP So in late November i built my first PC build which you can find here: http://pcpartpicker.com/p/q3C4K8 And now I am looking to upgrade, here are my plans. http://pcpartpicker.com/p/9PkD6h Now if you didn't notice, it was missing a PC case. I have been looking at tons of different cases but just can't decide! I really like the compact designs of cases like the Corsair Carbide Air 240 or the Bitfenix prodigy M, But i don't want to be limited by 2 expansion slots. I also would like sufficient air flow and some type of side panel window, although it does not need to be very big. Anyways I was looking for some help in choosing the right PC case for my system. What Do You Think?
