For the owners of these pads I'd like to hear your personal experience as well their pros and cons. I'm looking for a control pad for CS2 as I've gotten used to the worn-in surface with good stopping power, but I can't exclude Battlefield, Doom and other fast-paced shooters as well. Around 450mm x 400mm size. Currently in the process of switching to a lightweight mouse (DAV3 / Viper V2 Pro) with stock PTFE feet. I can't test any of those in person and can only judge from reviews. G-SR II Currently not available here and have to wait months for potential stock, but probably the best one for me judging from reviews. Smooth, control pad that should be more resistant to humidity than G-SR I which is big for the summers here and is used by a lot of pro players. Unfortunately my current pad is in bad condition and I need something sooner. GP4 Black Seems on the faster side from reviews like a middle ground between control and speed. Not sure if it's suitable for micro adjustments and flicking in CS for people like me who are used to greater control? How does it compare to G-SR II and the rest of the Xtrfy GP lineup? GPZ1 Smooth, slow, control pad by Rocket Jump Ninja that is supposed to be dynamic for both short flicks in CS and long swipes for fast-paced FPSs according to reviews. Seems to get hate for being extremely slow and muddy (slower than G-SR II?), and affected by humidity and moisture. Apparently requires more force to break friction from a standstill which affects micro adjustments? QcK /QcK Edge Classic amidst the esports scene but I don't see it recommended as much anymore. Not sure about its durability in the long term compared to the rest and humidity resistance, of course. Does the QcK Edge feel exactly the same as the QcK or QcK Heavy, just with stitched edges, and how does it compare to the G-SR II? The problem is a lot of hardware and peripherals are always out of stock in my country, and Amazon or other online retailers are out of the question because of expensive shipping, VAT and import fees all resulting in double the price. The same applies to the new kids on the block like LGG Saturn Pro, Artisan Zero, Aqua Control Zero, etc. These are the only ones currently available with decent amount of reviews: - GPZ1 - GP4 Black - QcK - QcK Edge - G-SR I (>€35-40) - Gigantus V2 TL;DR - Need smooth control pad for tactical FPS like CS2 as well as faster-paced games. I think G-SR II will suit me, but need an alternative since it's out of stock. Most "exotic" (newer) brands have too expensive logistics or can't be shipped at all and the list above is what's currently available here. Something not sticky with humidity resistance is preferable. I'm looking for advice as well as personal experience from owners of the pads.

Hi All, I have being looking into authentication to use on API I am working on but I lack experience in this area. I have developed an ASP.NET Core application that is hosted on Azure. Is there a way to integrate authentication for clients I define within the Azure Portal? I want that we create a client within Azure and we provide them with a Secret Key to use in order to obtain an access key that Azure Provides. The secret key would be used within the Header of a HTTP Request. Currently I have created authorization using the likes of a Microsoft account to signin with but because there will be no front end area to sign into, I'd like to be able to manage the secret keys from Azure. I hope this makes sense and someone can point me in the right direction. Thank you in advance!

From the album: The most Expensive CS GO skins
The value of skins is as subtle as the skins themselves. You can’t touch them to feel their quality. You can’t get any advantages from them in your game – there are no such plusses, only visual effects. Still, skins cost real money. Some of them can be sold for thousands of dollars; others have prices of just a few cents. How to understand such weird pricing? The infographic was taken here: https://skins.cash/blog/expensive-csgo-skins/-

SPECS: Intel Core i5-13600K Asus GeForce RTX 3080 TUF Gaming - OC Edition (LHR) NZXT Kraken X53 RGB Asus ROG Strix 850W Gigabyte Z790 GAMING X AX Samsung 1TB 980 Western Digital 1TB WD_BLACK SN850X OBS: 1080p60 NVENC 6000 Bitrate No dropped frames and 90MB Upload While setting up a friends stream I've encountered a problem that I have not seen solved before. While streaming content everything is runs smoothly. Problems arise when you try to livestream CS:GO. Game runs perfectly while streaming stream and is locked to 400fps. Stream does not drop frames and all the other sources other than the game continue to run smooth! We've tried: Streaming with the "Display capture" source. Only the game source lags, game runs flawlessly, and all the other scenes are buttery smooth. We've also tried to use the "Game Capture" source with the -allow_third_party_software launch command, the result is the same: only the game source lags, game runs flawlessly. What helped, but did not completely solve the issue was limiting the FPS in-game. Limiting the FPS to around 300, did help the problem, but did not completely solve it. Limiting to 200 FPS, gave slightly better results, but did not make the stream as smooth as you'd expect. This could give you the idea that the issue would stem from overload on the GPU, but CS:GO is a CPU heavy game, and we're running a 13600k with a 3080 here, so I don't think that is the problem. What am I missing here? Pro's can stream the game uncapped at insane frame rates and the game is also smooth on their stream. I searched trough forums, but I did not find a similar situation where the hardware is OP compared to the game and the task at hand, but only one source in OBS lags. All help and suggestions are welcome, Id really like to find the solution to this.

asp.net Object reference not set to an instance of an object
SoftwareNinja posted a topic in Programming
Hi all, I am working on an .net Web Application. I have created a class known as "MODELS" which has a String Variable and a String IList Variable. Within my Search.cshtml file up the top I am trying to create a list using this object but every time I add something to the IList I get an error. Error when loading the page. The app allows me to populate the brand but not the list? how can I resolve this? Thanks in advance and look forward to hearing back from you all. Cheers. -
Hi! About a month ago i upgraded to rx 5700 from gtx 970. I installed CS GO and im getting.. 30-40 fps on dust 2 lowest. Mirage gets me 200+ some over 60 and some below 60. Which makes no sense. What i checked is that GPU is at 99% usage and cpu at 15%. CPU is Ryzen 1600x which is overclocked to 4ghz. I have 75hz monitor. What can i do? I tried parking cpu changing every settings i could, reinstalling and i did reinstall windows after upgrade. What can i do?

Hey, boys! I play CS:GO a lot, but throughout the last year my FPS has been dramatically reduced for some reason. I concluded that it must be the GPU (Radeon 290), so I bought myself a GTX 1080. It not only didn't help, but the FPS seems lower than before. I've read that AMD cards run CS:GO better, but still.. On Inferno my average FPS is around 130, but in some areas it can dip as low as 90 consistantly. (Offline, no bots) It's a bit better on other (older) maps, but is still not great. I've tried everything thinkable on the software side to fix this problem, like: - Updating all drivers (made no difference) - Changing Nvidia settings to high performance (made no difference) - Lowering my CS:GO video settings (tried all combinations, but made close to no difference) - Several Launch options and console commands for CS:GO (made no difference) - Closing all applications other than Steam and CS:GO (made no difference) - Overclock my CPU with MSI "OC Genie" (made noticable difference other than PC crashes) The only thing which isn't high end in this build is my CPU, do you guys it would help to upgrade it? I've read some places online that CS:GO is quite CPU reliant, but I don't really know. Current specs: Motherboard: MSI Z97 GAMING 5 CPU: Intel i7-4770k GPU: ASUS GeForce GTX 1080 ROG Strix Gaming PSU: Corsair HX850i 850w RAM: 32GB Hyper X DDR3 MHz OS SSD: Samsung SSD 840 EVO 120GB OEM HDD: WD Desktop Black 3TB Windows 10 home 64bit CPU Cooler (AIO watercooling): Corsair H100i Hydro Series CPU cooler BOIS Version: 1.00 Thanks for any advice! ps: I know this build is unbalanced and not "value friendly". It has it's reasons .

Hallo so im looking into buying either http://zowie.benq.com/en/product/monitor/xl/xl2540.html or ROG SWIFT PG258Q: My setup is: CPU: Intel Core i5 4670K @ 3.40GHz●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●RAM: 8.00GB Dual-Channel DDR3●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●GFX: NVIDIA GeForce GTX 970 (MSI)●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●Storage: 111GB Crucial_CT120M500SSD1 (SSD)222GB Microsoft Storage Space Device (SSD)●▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬▬●MB: ASUSTeK COMPUTER INC. Z87-K My problem is that on csgo i get around 150-450 fps. and i would like to know if its possible and reasonable for me to buy one of the 240hz screens and then put the hz at 144 or something like 180? and can the reason that my fps is so low be something with my pc considering someone with a less powerfull cpu can get around 650-200fps?

My current headphones are starting to die, so I began exploring new headphones. Initially when I went into searching, I basically had the HD 598s already picked out. I then noticed a closed back Cs version for about $40 cheaper. I don't know much about audio, so I don't know what to pick. Or is there a better option for that price range? Any help would be fantastic. Thank you!

I found the Sennheiser HD 598 CS one day looking through Amazon. So I was wondering, I haven't heard of anybody really caring about them or even noticing them. I've brainstormed some random questions about these before I actually buy them (or don't). They may be stupid questions, but: 1. Are they real? 2. What's the difference between these and the HD 569's (other than aesthetics)? 3. Are they worth the buy over the HD 598SE/569? 4. Is that difference between leakage on these vs the open-back HD 598SE that significant? 5. Random: How comfortable are Brainwav HM5 Velor pads for long periods of listening vs stock? (Sorry for so many questions, I'm not forcing you to answer them all, but please make an effort to answer one at least)

I have a problem with my C# Windows Form Application. When i click on a checkbox to turn its state to true it calls a Public void in another class (Class2.callFunction) This Class2.callFunction has code that gets enabled but it freezes my whole application. When i test what the code does outside of the application it works but i want to be able to use the Form still without it been frozen. CheckBox: private void checkBox1_CheckedChanged(object sender, EventArgs e) { if (checkBox1.Checked == true) { Class2 class2 = new Class2(); class2.callFunction(); } } Function Called: public void callFunction() { CODE HERE I CAN NOT SHOW! } The code works but in the call function which is in a class of its own freezes the application when its put into use.

I'm working on a project, but I'm having issue with something that i had previously overlooked. I have a computer with a 4 byte word size, and i want to store values in an sram module, in big endian format. Problem is, SRAM chips only support byte-addressing as far as i know (only one byte can be accessed and written/read from at any given step) The particular chip i am looking at is this http://www.mouser.com/Search/m_ProductDetail.aspx?Alliance-Memory%2fAS6C4008-55PCN%2f&qs=sGAEpiMZZMt9mBA6nIyysPeGHDtAZQ%2bHv1ODopTep98%3d I need a through-hole design, and i also need a reasonable capacity (over 1mbit), while using a parallel interface( not serial SRAM) I've come up with several potential solutions, but they all have unacceptable drawbacks. - run the ram clock at 4x the speed of the rest of the circuit, and perform additions on the address 3 times. Problem is i would need a full adder for those calculations on the memory address, which would be too expensive, not to mention the latency of the SRAM chips would require stalling the pipeline on the processor, which would cripple performance (over 200ns latency, worse than DRAM) - I could use 4 banks of SRAM, with information cloned on all banks. That would be expensive, and i would still need an adder for address calculations. Any easy way to do this?

Hey guys my headset recently broke and I have been looking into getting a new one and so far it has been a very daunting task to take on. As all the headsets I have owned have been "Gaming" ones, but I have heard many times that Headphones are the much better choice. So I have narrowed it down to either the Senheiser HD598 Sr or the Cs variant. I will mostly be using these headphones for gaming but also along with music use, so please share your experience with either of these headphones or give me your insight on closed or open backed headphones. Thanks for helping guys!

I do not know what the problem is, but for some reason if I try to use my Sennheiser 598CS it will not work. Sound will either be extremely muffled or nonexistent. Except if I take the cable and apply force to the right, then suddenly both sides work perfectly fine. This is of course not optimal and if it was a slight tug it needed it would probably be something I could engineer a solution for. However, it needs a pretty good pull at all times, which means if I wanna use it, the only way to do it is pretty much taking the cable near where it enters the headphone and pulling it to my right. Then place the cable between my teeth to maintain the pull. This is of course neither comfortable nor convenient in the long term. Does anyone know what could cause this? I very much appreciate any help.

I want to make a montage of some cool clips from professional cs:go matches. For example, some famous KennyS shots, well known clips in general, or any other impressive play. How can I find these match id's so I can download them through cs:go and take cinematic shots? I cannot find any id's on google or from any friends. Please either help me by sending me match id's from professionals, well known clips, impressive clips, or provide me with a way to find match id's like this.

Hi. I've started making a c# console game for fun. I'm trying to do sort of a space invaders-style thing, maybe with online co-op. But. I have been using SetCursorPosition. I'm gonna have to use threading. Will calling SetCursorPosition at about the same time in different threads mess stuff up? I take it I can't have multiple cursors, so if I call it in a thread and call it in another before an operation is complete, say, draw a character in an unwanted place? After I do a write, if the cursor is "on top" of a character, SetCursorPosition will delete that character as it moves the cursor else where, is there a way to fix this? Is there any better way to do this? I really feel like this is a dirty way to do it. Thank you.

I'm in my 2nd year of getting my bachelors in cs. I know I want to be a software engineer, but there's so many career paths one can take. That I have to decide, I'm leaning towards android app development, but at the same time there's so many apps already that it seems like it's already over saturated with apps. Of course there's pros and cons with everything but saying you designed your own app and then you can show people right on the spot, I think that would be cool as heck.

Hello, I was wondering if anyone out there wants to queue up as a silver with me (trying to get a full team). Requirements: must have a mic, use eastern standard time, be over 13, and be some type of silver rank. I'm just looking for people to chill out with on the weekends during the evening. See y'all online! -MadRussian42
