I ordered a scythe ninja 5 before, but the seller didn't response to me after nearly 1 week. So I am looking at other bigggg cpu cooler. I found cryorig r1 ultimate, which I like a lot. But according to the pcpartpicker, the cooler (168.3mm) cannot fit into my case (fractal design mini C windowed edition with 168mm clearance) but it can fit into TG edition (172mm clearance). How reliable is pcpartpicker? Is there anyone with similar setup can share the experience with me? Thanks a lot.

I have a Cryorig A80 but bought it before they started bundling it with AM4 brackets, but I've just purchased a R7 3800x and Gigabyte X570 Gaming X motherboard to upgrade my system (from i5 4690k). I've contacted Cryorig who tell me to purchase it from Overclockers UK, who don't have stock and after speaking to them today, also do not know when they can get more in stock (surely these are from cryorig anyway?!). Now I've seen one random person on Reddit state that Corsair's bracket kit fits on the Cryorig, so does anyone know if they do and if so which one (I'm assuming the H80i/H115i one). Or even better if someone knows where I can source a Cryorig one that would be even better. But I've tried amazon, ebay, etc and no luck.

Hi, so I was recently experiencing some problems with my i7-7700k getting too hot using a Cryorig H7 Air Cooler, however I then bought a second hand Corsair H80i (for the same price I bought the H7 for). I am experiencing better temps with the H80i, as expected, but I have a feeling that is because I installed the H7 incorrectly. I had the fan facing the wrong way on it, could this have caused my CPU to get a lot hotter than it should? This was my first PC build, so that is the cause of the mistake And if so, do you think it is worth it for me to go back to the H7 as it is possible for the H80i to leak and damage components, especially as it is second hand, and the H7 won't damage anything else if the fans fails? Thanks.

So i have this weird problem with my CPU temps. Most of the time on idle its 30 to 35 degrees Celsius but sometimes it goes up to 40, 50 or even 60 and i'm not even stressing it that hard. Does anyone know why this is? I almost always have Firefox, Skype, Discord and SpeedFan open. Spec list: Intel Core i7 6700k @ Stock Speeds Cryorig H7 cooler (with Cryorig CP7 thermal compound installed) ASRock Z270 Killer SLI Corsair Vengeance LPX 16GB DDR4 @ 3000MHz EVGA Geforce GTX 1070 8GB SC WD Green 240GB SSD & 500GB HDD Xilence Performence A+ 730W Phanteks Eclipse P400S Tempered Glass, White (with stock fans, yes i know i need an upgrade)

Hi Guys, I recently built a new rig with an i7 7700K together with a Cryorig H5 Universal heatsink as my first DIY project. The problem I am facing is that during a stress test, the CPU temperature jumps up from an ambient temperature of about 34C to 70C within a few seconds, keeps climbing slowly and stabilizes in the low 80s. When I stop the stress test, the temperature again drops back very quickly to 40C within a few seconds. As a result of this high temperature, I am currently running the CPU without any overclock. I have tried reinstalling the heatsink several times with new thermal paste reapplied each time but the situation remains the same. Attached is the temperature profile that I captured over about 10 mins using Afterburner and HWMonitor. Is this normal? If not, is this a heatsink or CPU issue? Any advice is appreciated. Thanks.

So im getting my first build and im using a NZXT s340 as my case but the only thing thats bothering me is the CPU cooler that ill get. Im going with an Intel Core i7 6700k alongside an EVGA GTX 1070 FTW and i dont know what kind of air cooler i should get that can keep up with the i7 6700k 's level (maybe even a small OC to like 4,2 - 4,3 GHz). Originally, i chose the Dark rock pro 3 because i had seen various forum posts and videos which prove it to be a good cooler but after some research i started to worry about the size and how it would fit in my case. After that i started searching for alternative coolers which were under the 100 Euro range and so my attention went to the Cryorig H7. That was the cooler i believed (and still believe) i should get for my build but am still not sure if its good enough for the i7 6700k. The H5 Ultimate was another alternative pick to the Dark rock since alot of people believe it to be a very good cooler and much better than the H7 but the thing is that the H5 Ultimate has a similar size to the Dark rock and im worried whether it would fit into my case (i had read some posts which said their Dark rock/ H5 Ultimate had barely fit in their s340 and that some people even needed to put force in order to close the case). To conclude, im asking whether i should stick to the Cryorig H7 for an i7 6700k in a NZXT s340 or get something else (opinions are always accepted). PS. I would also like to know if these coolers will have any conflict with the ram slots or GPU Build: https://pcpartpicker.com/list/mHN3d6 Thanks for your time

Yesterday I bought the CPU cooler Cryorig H7, because the AMD Stock cooler was loud and bad. The new cooler didn't help at all. In fact it made the temperatures even worse. I have two intake fans in front and one exhaust fan in back. The idle temperature is around 35c, but it jumps by 10 degrees and returns to 35 all the time. When under load (Civilization 6) the temperature jumps to 80c. That's not normal. What should I do? My cpu is FX 8320 and my case is Bitfenix Comrade.

Hi, I have an i7-7700k and a Cryorig H7 air cooler and am kinda confused as to why my CPU is getting so hot. Using Core Temp 1.5 my cores are under 1 or 2% load and still running at 40 - 45 degrees - even I know that is too hot for that load! When running AIDA 64 FPU it went up to 97% on 3 of my cores, and 93 on the other one. I do not understand why. Everywhere I've seen, people have been getting around 30 - 35 degrees with no load with this same processor and cooler - but mine is at 45? The only thing I could think of is my thermal paste application isn't good - but I took it off today and re-applied it and nothing changed. This was my first time building a PC, so it is likely I could have done the thermal paste wrong. I am using Arctic MX-2 compound, which I thought was a good one - but maybe I am wrong. Any help would be greatly appreciated, as right now I am scared to do much in fear of making my CPU get too hot.

Cryorig is giving out free AM4 upgrade kits. Those who want one, must send them a proof of purchase of either a AMD Ryzen CPU or motherboard. After it's approved, they'll send you the kit. http://www.tomshardware.com/news/cryorig-ryzen-am4-cooler-upgrade,33488.html

Sup folks, I was looking through some AIO liquid coolers and found the CRYORIG A40 Ultimate, and was intruiged by its looks. As you can see on the image, it's a 2×120mm radiator with a-whaaaaa?! A fan on top of the CPU block?! I doubt it'll actually help cooling the CPU, but it looks interesting and I love it. Does anyone have this AIO? Thoughts, opinions? I would also like to know what reliability to expect, I've personally never heard of the brand CRYORIG, what about you? What do you think? Thanks in advance! Regards, TJ

So I recently upgraded to ryzen from my 8350 and at the moment I'm using the stock am4 cooler. I've been looking at getting either the H5 or the dark rock 3 and i'm kinda torn between the two. I've seen that cooling performance is about the same but i still can't make my mind up on what suits my build better. This is what my build looks like:

I am looking to do a build this summer... The cooler I will probably be using is the Cryorig C7 and I was wondering if it will do a good job cooling an i5 7500 in a Fractal Design Node 202 case...?

Hey all, Recently got a Cryorig R1 Universal. It's big, beautiful, and cools wonderfully. Only problem is It has two fans, along with the case fan that's so close it may as well be a third fan for the heatsink (it's plugged into the CPU_OPT header, the R1's fans are on the main CPU header using a PWM splitter). This can get loud with a 4790k @ 4.7GHz. My question is, if I underclock my CPU to maybe 3.5GHz @ 1.0V, could I get away with removing the two fans altogether? Or at least the case fan one one fan from the cooler. I know the underclock works well because I had to use it when my AC went out. It sits under 60C at load with a 212 EVO. What do you think? I'm not entirely set on doing this yet since I like high clock speeds, but with a 4790k, it doesn't make much difference.

Hi all, Pretty much ever since I built my pc (and then after changing the case), the CPU cooler has been loud. Every time I open an application in Windows it is noticeably louder. I have taken it out and will clean/reapply thermal paste and put it back in to see if that helps. Here are some photos after I removed the cooler and before I removed the paste. The cooler was aligned so that the fan was next to the RAM. Also you can see 2x140mm Corsair fans intake at the front and 1x140mm Be Quiet exhaust at the rear. The case is a Fractal Design Define S. I often checked temps and the CPU cores were usually in the 30s. If anyone has advice, I am all ears. Thanks.

So basically, Cryorig recently announced that they'll be releasing custom loop heatpipe cooler in 2018. Personally i think its pretty crazy, but exciting at the same time! CRYORIG is proud to announce another major breakthrough in cooling innovation. Introducing the CRYORIG Adaptive Form ver. 4.1 cooling system! The Adaptive Form ver. 4.1 is the pinnacle of PC cooling and the world’s first custom loop heatpipe cooler. For the first time in human history endless customization air cooling options is finally here! Full story can be read on their website at http://www.cryorig.com/news.php?id=70&page=1 Apparently this is an elaborate prank by Cryorig for April Fool's joke.....And somehow i fell for it ?

Hello LTT, i am planning an new build with Asus aura, and I want an RGB cooler with Aura sync, i did not find one so I was wondering if I could put an cm Masterfan Pro Air Balance RGB 120mm fan on it And would an Akasa Vegas X7 RGB work as well?? thanks, ~Sven

Hello! my question is, will a Cryorig C7 be able to cool an 6700k with no overclock? Ps. Building in the Fractal Design Node 202 Thanks!
-
Hi I was wondering if the cryorig h5 would work in the corsair spec 02, searched on the interwebernets but some said it fits, some say it doesnt, and one amazon post said it only fits horizontally. So I would like to ask the LTT community and see if anyone has managed to put on in or anything, i have a ryzen 1400 and a msi b350 gaming pro with both ram slots populated by corsair lpx if that helps. The reason Im asking is because the hyper 212 fits, and its over by 2mm spec wise and with 1mm tp spare, so i was thinking if the h5 universal or even the ultimate would it. Thanks everyone for reading tho, sorry about my english it isnt great :3

Hi! I'm planning a build for 1440p, and I need feedback on the build, but especially the CPU cooler. Can a Cryorig H7 properly cool a 6700k? What about if I overclock it to around 4.5 Ghz? Here's the build if you'd like to give feedback on other parts of it (much appreciated!) https://pcpartpicker.com/list/pLMkgL

I wanna buy a cpu heatsink and a case fan if possible. My case Raijintek Arcadia only have 1 outtake fan in the back. But my budget is really limited. The raijintek combo cost pretty much the same with 1 cryorig. And someone recently tell me I should get gammaxx 300.So, which one should I buy? Btw, my cpu FX-6300 with Asus M597A EVO R.2 and enterkomputer.com is where I'm gonna buy it if you wanna use it as reference for the price. Ty.

Hey guys, im planning to build a a gaming pc and i dont intend to overlock my cpu but im thinking to still spend some extra cash on a aftermarkert cooler. I know i dont really need it but i would like it to be a bit more quiet and cooler . My CPU will be an i5 6500. Coolers which i have in mind are the Cryorig H7 or Cryorig C7 . I live in Australia and will be getting my parts from PC CASE GEAR. https://www.pccasegear.com/ Current prices: Cryorig H7: $55 Cryorig C7 :$45 Reviews: https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CRYORIG/H7_Universal/9.html https://www.techpowerup.com/reviews/CRYORIG/C7/9.html It seems that the H7 will give better cooling performance than the C7. Which is making me kinda wanna go with the H7 , but the C7 to me seems bit better looking on a mobo compared to the H7 which is more chunky . But still looks alright. So thats my thought, any thoughts would be appreciated cheers

I'm currently buying a new cooler and was wondering if the cryorig r1 would have any compatibility issues with the slot that the graphics card goes in my mother board. My motherboard is the Gigabyte GA-Z170-HD3.
